Have you ever wondered why the Bible mentions giants repeatedly, yet most Sunday school lessons skip right over it? Welcome to an eye-opening exploration of Scripture's supernatural side—the parts many churches sanitize or ignore.

Giants aren't fantasy in the Bible—they're documented reality. From Genesis 6:4 describing the Nephilim (offspring of fallen angels and human women) to Deuteronomy's account of Og whose bed measured over 13 feet long, Scripture speaks plainly about these beings. When the Israelite spies encountered giants in Canaan, they reported feeling "like grasshoppers" in comparison. These weren't just tall humans—they were something else entirely.

The parallels between these biblical accounts and worldwide mythology are striking. Every ancient culture tells remarkably similar stories of "gods," giants, and hybrid beings who influenced humanity. What if Greek myths about Titans, Norse legends about Jotuns, and similar stories worldwide aren't fictional inventions but distorted memories of real events? The Bible's narrative of fallen angels corrupting creation provides a framework that explains these global similarities.

Even more compelling are the megalithic structures scattered across our planet. From the precision-cut stones at Baalbek to the pyramids of Egypt and the impossible engineering feats at Sacsayhuamán in Peru, these monuments defy conventional explanation. Did primitive humans really move and place 200-ton stones with perfect precision using rope and wooden rollers? Or is there a missing piece to human history—perhaps involving knowledge or abilities from these Nephilim beings?

Jesus himself said that end times would mirror "the days of Noah," a period characterized by these very entities and their corruption of creation. As we witness modern transhumanism and attempts to blend humanity with technology, these ancient accounts take on fresh relevance. What was will be again.

Speaker 1 (00:32):
Hello and welcome back to the Radiant Mission
podcast.
My name is Rebecca Toomey andwe are in a series called Coffee
Talk, and this is a place wherewe are exploring faith and we
are rooting it through God'sword.
Today's episode is one thatpushes the boundaries of what

(00:54):
most Christians were ever taughtin Sunday school, but it's
right there in the Bible.
If you are willing to look inthe Bible, if you are willing to
look, we're going to be divinginto giants in scripture,
megalithic structures around theworld, hybrid creatures,
ancient mythology, the Nephilimand the possibility that

(01:24):
humanity's earliest history maynot be as mythical as you were
told.
Could the ancient texts andcultural myths that we have
dismissed as fiction actuallypoint to real hidden history
that the Bible confirms?
Let's dive right in y'all.
So first, the Bible talks aboutgiants a lot.
Yep, it's undeniable.

(01:46):
The Bible speaks very plainlyabout giants, starting in
Genesis 6, 4, where it saysthere were giants in the earth
in those days and also afterward, when the sons of God came in
unto the daughters of men andthey bear children to them.
These sons of God, or bene?

(02:07):
Elohim, are understood by manyscholars to be fallen angels, as
we have discussed in previousepisodes, and their offspring
with human women were called theNephilim, and they were a race
of giants.
So this is not the only placewhere giants appear.
In Numbers 13.33, we saw theNephilim there.

(02:28):
We seemed like grasshoppers inour own eyes and we looked the
same to them.
Deuteronomy 3.11 speaks of Og,king of Bashan, who was the last
Rephaim, a giant whose bed wasover 13 feet long.
The idea that there were oncegiant humans or hybrid beings is

(02:52):
not fictional.
It is in the Bible.
So let's talk about that.
Mythology may be.
Have you ever wondered whynearly every ancient culture,
from the Greeks to the Egyptiansto the Sumerians, tell stories
of quote little g-gods, giants, monsters and hybrid beings?

(03:15):
Maybe it's because they weren'tmaking it up?
Maybe it's because thesecultures were describing real
events through their lens ofunderstanding the Greek gods.
We have talked about this inpast episodes.
Many believe that these littleg gods may have been Nephilim,

(03:36):
powerful supernatural hybridswho were worshipped by humans.
So think of a half-humancreature like a centaur or
satyrs, or even mermaids.
These might have been realgenetic abominations, the result
of fallen angels corruptingcreation.

(03:58):
Jude 1, 6-7 describes angelswho, quote, abandoned their
proper dwelling and were judgedfor gross immorality.
And the book of Enoch, which wediscussed in episode 146, it
expands on this as well, and itreveals how fallen angels not
only sinned with women but alsotaught humanity dark knowledge

(04:24):
like sorcery, enchantments, astrology, abortion and warcraft
.
This theme of heavenly beingscorrupting creation appears in
many cultures.
And what if these myths arememories?
They're distorted over time, but they're rooted in real

(04:45):
history, something that buildson this megalithic structures.
They are enormous stonestructures, like the pyramids
that are in Egypt, baalbek inLebanon, stonehenge or excuse my
pronunciation here butSacsayhuaman in Peru.

(05:07):
These stones weigh hundreds oftons and many were placed with
precision that we still can'treplicate today.
So did primitive humans reallymove these?
Did they really fit theseperfectly cut stones with no
cranes, no wheels or moderntools?

(05:29):
Or is there something missingfrom the official narrative?
Some believe that giants, nephilim, or advanced knowledge
from fallen angels were involvedin this.
The Bible says the Nephilimwere on the earth not only
before the flood, but, quote, also afterward, suggesting they

(05:54):
continue to influence humancivilization.
So leads us to the big questionwhy is this not talked about or
taught in church?
There's a tendency that I havenoticed in modern Christianity
to sanitize the Bible, to skipover the supernatural parts and

(06:14):
make everything safe andsensible, but the Bible is a
supernatural book.
God alone is supernatural, andthe Bible talks about giants,
demons, angels, hybrid offspringand God's divine judgment on
corrupted creation.
These are not side topics, youguys.

(06:36):
They are central to theunderstanding of the flood, the
conquest of Canaan and even endtimes prophecy conquest of
Canaan and even end timesprophecy.
The book of Enoch that we havealready discussed, while it's

(06:56):
not included in our modern Bible, was quoted by Jude and was
well known by early Christians, and it even names some of these
fallen angels and details oftheir sins, like Azazel, who
taught men to make weapons, andSemjaza, the leader of the 200
who descended on Mount Hermon.
Could this be the knowledge thatwas buried, both literally and

(07:17):
figuratively, to keep us fromunderstanding our own history
and spiritual reality?
It's a question, and you mightbe asking why does any of this
matter?
Well, here's why I think thatit matters.
It affirms that the Bible ishistorically and spiritually

(07:40):
accurate, even when it seemswild.
It reminds us that thespiritual war is real and
ancient.
It opens our eyes to how Satanhas tried to corrupt God's
creation since the beginning, and it prepares us to better
discern modern deception,including false gods,

(08:04):
transhumanism and attempts toblend technology and humanity in
unnatural ways.
What was will be again, justlike in the days of Noah.
In Matthew 24, 37, it says asit was in the days of Noah, so
it will be at the coming of theSon of man.

(08:26):
The days of Noah were filledwith wickedness, violence and
Nephilim.
Could those days be returning?
I don't think we're far off.
As we close today, rememberthat this is not fringe theory.
It is ancient truth hidden inplain sight.

(08:49):
So if this episode stirredsomething up in you, do not be
afraid to dig deeper.
Ask God for discernment, readthe scriptures with fresh eyes
and don't be afraid of the hardquestions, because the Bible
does have answers.
Some reflection questions fortoday.
Have I skipped over thesupernatural topics in the Bible

(09:11):
because they felt too strange?
What if cultural myths arerooted in real biblical events?
Am I open to learning whatscripture really says, even if
it challenges what I was taught?
This episode may have stretchedyour imagination, but the
deeper we go into the scripture, the more we see that truth is

(09:32):
often stranger and more powerfulthan fiction.
And next week we're going to goeven deeper.
In episode 149, we are going toexplore the days of Noah, the
rise of the watchers, thecorruption of mankind and what
it means that the Nephilim wereon the earth in those days and
also afterward.
We are going to look at Genesis6, the book of Enoch and other

(09:57):
clues that reveal a time ofintense spiritual warfare and
hybrid offspring and ask whetherhistory is repeating itself
today.
You are not going to want tomiss that one.
Until then, stay curious, stayrooted in God's word and keep
seeking truth.

(10:17):

execute judgment on all and toconvict all the ungodly of their
deeds.
