149. As in the Days of Noah: Nephilim, Watchers, & the Coming Deception

The technological capabilities we now possess make previously unimaginable violations of created boundaries suddenly possible. Hello and welcome back to the Radiant
Mission Podcast.
My name is Rebecca Twomey andtoday we are diving in to a
topic that is both ancient andincredibly relevant at the same
time what really happened in thedays of Noah and could it be

(00:52):
happening again?
This episode continues our deepdive series through Enoch,
genesis 6, spiritual corruptionand what Jesus meant when he
said as it was in the days ofNoah, so it will be at the
coming of the son of man inMatthew 24, 37.

(01:15):
So let's kick this off bytalking about what was happening
on earth in the days of Noah.
To understand the days of Noah,we have to look beyond just the
ark and the animals.
According to Genesis 6, thequote sons of God, which is

(01:36):
understood by many scholars andancient Jewish texts, like Enoch
to be fallen angels.
Like Enoch to be fallen angels,they took human women as wives
and had children by them, andthese children became what is
known as the Nephilim.

(01:57):
They were giant hybrid beingsof immense power and wickedness.
But Enoch and other textssuggest that it went even
further.
The Watchers, which are thosespecific fallen angels, taught
humans sorcery, astrology,weapon making and seduction.
They corrupted every corner ofsociety, from war and beauty to

medicine and nature.
There are even suggestions thatthey attempted to mix species,
not just human and angel, buthuman and animal.
This may connect withmythologies half human, half
animal creatures like centaursand mermaids and some scholars

(02:43):
believe that this crossbreedingand genetic tampering may have
reached non-human life too.
This isn't that far-fetched,you guys.
Think about what is going ontoday and this scientific
curiosity and the things thatyou're seeing happen in the
background.
If you were to just do a quickGoogle search on animal

(03:03):
experimentation in humans andhuman DNA, you're going to see
some of this stuff happening now.
But what else was going on?
Sodom and Gomorrah was likelyunfolding around this same era a
time of unchecked sexualperversion, rampant violence and
societal rot, as we could say.

(03:26):
But before we move on to some ofthat, I want to touch a little
bit more on the Watchers andtheir names and sins, because I
find this to be prettyinteresting.
In previous episodes I havementioned Azazel and Samjoza,
and those are in the Book ofEnoch and listed as other

(03:46):
watchers.
Here a few more Kokabel taughtastrology.
Penemus taught writing wisdomand the corrupting power of ink
and paper.
Khazdija taught abortivemethods to women, so abortion.
Gadrael introduced warfare andweapons.

(04:07):
And these angels didn't justfall, they infiltrated and
rewired human society.
Enoch 69 lays out their namesand their crimes, and it's
deeply disturbing and eerilyfamiliar when you consider our
world today.
Let's pause for a second onKhazdija, who taught the smiting

(04:31):
of the embryo in the womb,which is abortion.
This aligns with what we seetoday an institutional push for
abortion and child sacrificedisguised as healthcare and
freedom.
These were not minor infractions.

(04:52):
These watchers altered creationitself physically, spiritually
and morally.
Altered creation itselfphysically, spiritually and
morally.
So why was Noah spared?
Genesis 6-9 says Noah wasblameless in his generation.
That word, blameless, which isthe Hebrew word tamlim, can

(05:13):
refer not only to moralintegrity but also genetic
purity.
Some scholars suggest thatNoah's bloodline had not been
corrupted by Nephilim DNA.
His family may have been amongthe last remaining groups not to
be tainted by this hybridinvasion.
They were chosen because theywalked with God and maintained a

(05:37):
pure lineage.
They weren't perfect, but theywere faithful and uncorrupted.
In contrast, the rest ofhumanity had embraced violence
and idolatry, sorcery and everyform of sexual deviance,
including interbreeding withfallen beings.
God's grief was so great thathe declared every inclination of

(06:01):
the thoughts of the human heartwas only evil all the time in
Genesis 6, 5.
So clearly God wipes away allthose on the earth.
But what about the Nephilim?
Did they really return afterthe flood?
This is one of the most askedand controversial questions.
In Genesis 6, 4, it says theNephilim were on the earth in

those days and also afterward.
Wait afterward.
We read later in Numbers 13, 33,that the spies saw giants in
Canaan.
We seemed like grasshoppers inour own eyes and we looked the
same to them.
If you remember that verse fromlast episode, these giants are

(06:45):
sometimes called Anakim, rephaimand other names in scripture.
How did they get back here?
How did they return?
This is a pretty tough questionto answer, but some
possibilities include a secondincursion of fallen angels after
the flood, perhaps corruptionthrough surviving Nephilim DNA

(07:08):
in Ham's wife or another memberof the Ark family, or genetic
tampering or spiritualpossession recreating these
beings.
There's really no definitiveanswer, but the evidence of
giants post-flood is strong inboth the Bible and extra
biblical sources, andarchaeologists have found large

(07:31):
skeletal remains, elongatedskulls and ancient lore across
cultures about sky gods, hybridbeings and giant kings.
So there is something going onhere which leads me to the
question is this happening again.
If Jesus said the end timeswould mirror the days of Noah,

(07:54):
then what signs should we bewatching Noah then?
What signs should we bewatching?
Here are a few modern parallelsGenetic splicing in
transhumanism, which is blendinghumans with AI, machines and
animal genes certainly happeningand been happening for a bit

(08:14):
here.
Fertility in an embryoexperimentation, including
three-parent embryos, and wombtransplants this one is
absolutely terrifying and ishappening right now.
Also, rampant sexual sin, lgbtqnormalization and gender
ideology pushed onto children,pornography, addictions,

(08:37):
widespread pedophilia andgrooming this stuff is
everywhere and it is absolutelyterrifying, as is the rise of
spiritual deception, includingwitchcraft, new age and alien
and UFO disclosure andconversations around that area.
Ufo disclosure andconversations around that area.

(09:02):
And, lastly, the mark of thebeast, and while we don't know
yet what it is, digital IDsystems, biometric control and
AI tracking are all laying thegroundwork for it.
Just as in the days of Noah,humanity today is reaching for
God-like power, playing with DNA, redefining creation and
ignoring God's boundaries, andthis is a tough one.

(09:26):
The latter, about playing withDNA, is a tough one to discuss
because it can be very close tohome and sensitive for a lot of
people, but it's something thatwe really have to look at and
consider.
I've heard a lot of people saythings like well, god has
allowed us to learn these thingsor to do these things, or, by

(09:49):
God's hand, doctors are able todo these things.
God doesn't control everylittle thing that we do.
You guys, we set up and dig ourown graves sometimes, so I'm
just going to park that there.
Let's talk about the comingdeception.
Scripture warns us that in theend there will be a great

(10:12):
deception, one that may evenfool the elect, as is mentioned
in Matthew 24, 24.
Could part of that deception bea return of the Nephilim or
fallen watchers?
Could ancient knowledge, buriedor suppressed, resurface in the

(10:32):
form of quote advancedtechnology, alien entities or AI
?
Remember, satan doesn't create,he imitates and corrupts and,
just like in the days of Noah,the goal is to lead people away
from the truth, to destroy God'simage bearers and to pervert

(10:54):
anything holy.
You may be wondering why doesthis even matter?
Because Jesus said it wouldhappen again.
Understanding the days of Noahgives us discernment for the
days we're living in and ithelps us see the signs, resist
deception, trust God's word,cling to purity and truth in a

(11:17):
corrupt generation, and wearen't called to fear.
We are called to be awake.
