Sneezing, itching, and watery eyes can feel like your body is betraying you. What if those symptoms are your built-in cleanup crew asking for less blockage and more flow? We dive into a practical, hope-filled approach to allergies that starts with one shift: stop muting the signal and start clearing the filters.

We break down the crucial differences between seasonal and food allergies and show how to match the fix to the cause. For environmental triggers like pollen, pet dander, and dust, the focus is on the mucosal system and lymph flow—think clay binders to adsorb irritants, natural antihistamines that don’t shut down elimination, and targeted sinus care. We walk through an electric nasal irrigation method, a potent sinus spray, and an herbal steam formula that opens passages, breaks biofilm, and helps drain the head. Listeners are often shocked by how quickly breathing clears once the head is no longer congested.

Food allergies are a different beast with a familiar root: gut integrity. When leaky gut lets undigested proteins—gluten, casein, peanut proteins—slip into circulation, the immune system keeps the alarm blaring. We share a step-by-step plan that pairs a colon cleanse with a parasite cleanse to reduce the microbial burden driving permeability. Then we add therapeutic enzymes taken on an empty stomach to break down old protein debris and calm reactions over time. Along the way, we offer safety guidance on anaphylaxis, pregnancy-friendly options like gentle colon and kidney support plus liver-safe teas, and practical tips to avoid common hidden triggers.

If you’re tired of masking symptoms and want a path that restores your body’s design, this conversation gives you the toolkit: cleanse strategically, support drainage, heal the gut, and let the immune system stand down. Subscribe for more root-cause health insights, share this with someone who needs allergy relief, and leave a review to tell us which strategy made the biggest difference for you.

Rebecca Twomey (00:31):
Hello and welcome to the Radiant Mission
Podcast.
My name is Rebecca Toomey, andI am here with our special
guest, Dr.
Vaughn, who has joined us forthis awesome series on health
the past couple of episodes.
So thank you again for joiningus, Dr.
Vaughn.
Thank you.
Just as a reminder, if this isyour first episode you're
listening to with Dr.
Vaughn, please go back andlisten to the previous two

(00:54):
episodes because he's awesome.
And he is a traditionalnaturopath and I keep wanting to
say iridologist, iridologist.
And he focuses on helpingpeople discover the root cause
of their chronic illness.
He's looking at the whole bodyfrom a design perspective and
helping people to understand thelinks between God, creation,

(01:16):
health, sickness, and disease.
And if you'd like to connectwith Dr.
Vaughn, please be sure to checkour show notes.
I will link all of these there.
But he is available on hiswebsite, spiritofhealthkc.com.
He also has an awesome store.
So that'sstore.spiritofhealthkc.com.
On Facebook forward slashspirit of health, Instagram

(01:37):
forward slash spirit of healthkcand on YouTube at
Spiritofhealth KC, which you'redefinitely going to want to
check out.
Because he actually has aseries on the topic that we're
going to talk about today, andthat is allergies.
We are in the midst of allergyseason, or I mean, depending on
who you are, you might haveallergies all of the time.

(01:59):
Andor you may have flare-upsituations or other specific
scenarios when it comes toallergies.
But this was something that wewanted to jump into as a
specific topic because, youknow, if you guys have been
listening to the show, you knowI've had some issues with
allergies.
And it took using dandelionroot to clear my liver and

(02:21):
kidneys a couple of years backin order to realize wait a
second, this is a lot deeperthan just the symptoms of
allergies.
So that's what we're going totalk about today.
If you have allergies or knowsomeone that has allergies,
listen and share this with afriend.
Let's talk about this.
I mean, I I I mentioned thatI've been learning a lot about

(02:42):
it and it's ties to the gut, butalso the liver and the kidneys
being the biggest thing relatedto allergies.
And in one of your videos, youuse the this these two words
blocked filters.
And that was like one of thoselight bulb moments.

(03:02):
Like, what a great way todescribe what's going on in our
inside of our bodies that whenwe have all these, you know,
congestion and runny nose anditchy eyes, it's that's not the
problem.
It's coming from the rootinside of us that our system is
blocked up and we need to clearit.
So talk to us about that.

Dr. Vaughn (03:24):
So dive in, huh?
Just dive in.
I would distinguish that thereis a difference between seasonal
allergies and food allergies.
So in other words, environmental allergies versus
what we call a food sensitivityor food allergy.
And I'm happy to discuss bothof them on this episode if you

(03:45):
want, because they aredifferent.
Because there are people sayingright now, like, yeah, I have
seasonal allergies to dust andpollen and this and that.
But then there's people like, Ihave an allergy to gluten, I
have an allergy to dairy.
So those are actually differentthings, especially related to
the immune system and TH1 andTH2 immunity and how that whole
system works.

Rebecca Twomey (04:03):
Perfect.

Dr. Vaughn (04:04):
Um, but it sounds to me like maybe initially you're
talking more about the seasonalallergies, the things that we
encounter in the air, in thespring, and in the fall.
And you mentioned blockedfilters.
So I always love to explain topeople that our bodies are
fearfully and wonderfully made, and they're always attempting to

(04:28):
heal themselves, they're alwaysattempting to do what's best
for the body because our bodiesare holy.
This is our holy temple.
So everything God did in thegoodness of creation and design
is an attempt to keep thesebodies healthy, to keep toxins
and poisons and things out.

(04:48):
So when we're encounteringsomething in the air and our
body's rejecting it or sayingthat there's a problem, there's
a reason.
Either that thing is bad and itshouldn't be in our body at
all, which obviously there's alot of chemicals and toxins and
poisons and things in our body, and certain jobs we might do, or
we might wear a mask if we're awelder or, you know, whatever.

(05:10):
There's certain things we don'twant in our body that it's
going to react to because it'snot supposed to be in there.
But there's also this realitythat just normal things that we
experience, like cat hair or doghair, or dust, or pollen, we're
having an allergy to because Ibelieve our mucosal system

(05:31):
primarily is congested.
It's blocked, or like you said, blocked filters.
So the body's pretty phenomenalthing in that it's this system
of thousands of miles of tubes.
You might have heard that thecardiovascular system at low
estimates, the cardiovascularsystem is 60,000 miles long

(05:54):
inside of your body.
That's the low estimate.

Rebecca Twomey (05:58):
Wow.

Dr. Vaughn (05:58):
And the lymphatic system is we have twice as much
lymph in our body than uhcardiovascular vessels.
So we literally have tens ofthousands of miles of tubes that
get clogged up.
And we don't think about it alot until it's a problem.
And so then how do we deal withthat problem?

(06:20):
So if the body's trying tocreate mucus to get rid of
something, do you think a goodsolution is to go to the
drugstore and buy Claritin todry up our mucosal system so
that we can't uh eliminate thatmucus anymore?

Rebecca Twomey (06:39):
Of course.
That seems like the logicalsolution.
Of course.

Dr. Vaughn (06:42):
So you think about mucinics and claritin and you
know, whatever, there's allkinds of stuff out there, but
they're designed to stop what'shappening.

unknown (06:52):
Yes.

Dr. Vaughn (06:53):
Because that's what we want.
We don't like it, it'suncomfortable, and I I want to
stop this thing from happening.
But what you're stopping fromhappening is the body trying to
eliminate what shouldn't bethere.

Rebecca Twomey (07:06):
Yeah.

Dr. Vaughn (07:06):
And so that's gonna lead to longer-term, deeper
seated illness in the body as weallow these things in the body
that the body's trying toeliminate.
So partnering with God isactually taking things and doing
things that help the bodyeliminate, that help the process

(07:29):
that's already in motion thatwe call a symptom that we want
to work with.
So there's so many things wecan do, right?
So many things.
Um, cleanses.
So on my website, I have tonsof cleanses.
I have a colon cleanse and akidney cleanse and a lymphatic

(07:50):
system cleanse and a livercleanse and da-da-da-da-da.
You can look at all thecleanses.
But just cleansing your colonor just doing a lymphatic system
cleanse or a kidney cleanse ora liver cleanse, and there's
kind of an order to cleansing, and we can talk about that
sometime if you want.
I have seen so many people'sallergies just mysteriously
disappear because they did acleanse.

(08:12):
So the colon cleanse would be,I would say, number one, because
that's the main area ofelimination of your body.

unknown (08:22):
Okay.

Dr. Vaughn (08:22):
So your colon needs to be clear.

Rebecca Twomey (08:24):
So this cleanse comes in and basically squeaky
cleans it up, car wash.

Dr. Vaughn (08:30):
Right.

Rebecca Twomey (08:30):
Yeah.

Dr. Vaughn (08:31):
Car wash.
And we're not just washing thegiant tube that goes from here
to the other end that's like 25,27 feet of intestines and
colon.
That's this like closed loopsystem.
We're actually cleansing tensof thousands of miles of tubes
connected to the bowels.

Rebecca Twomey (08:53):
Okay.

Dr. Vaughn (08:54):
Also called GALT, which is a gut gut-associated
lymphatic tissue, which is wherea lot of these immune responses
are taking place in thismucosal system of what we call
TH1 immunity, of where thebody's responding to these
foreign invaders coming inbecause the filters are blocked

(09:14):
and it can't be eliminatedquickly in the way it should be.
And so now we're having animmune response.

Rebecca Twomey (09:20):
What are they blocked up with?
French fries?
I mean, yeah.
What's blocking up our tubes,Dr.
Vaughn?

Dr. Vaughn (09:28):
Junk.
Uh, I work with a lot ofchronically ill people, but and
I tell people this in allseriousness that you know you're
getting better when old, sick, gross, toxic, stinky waste
starts coming out of your body.
You can't get better until thathappens because the body is so

(09:53):
gummed up with those uh what wecall trans fats, you know, those
hydrogenated fats and oilsclogging up our pipes, uh,
mucus.
Uh, we've talked a little bitin the past about infectious
disease, parasites, mold, Lymedisease, like these things are

(10:16):
causing our bodies to be toxicand congested and clogged up.
And so the allergy is asymptom, right?
It's a response of the bodysaying, Hey, I'm trying to get
rid of this thing and I can't,or this thing's not supposed to
be here.
Can you please help me get ridof it?

Rebecca Twomey (10:35):
Interesting.

Dr. Vaughn (10:36):
Again, we think of everything as bad.
Allergies bad.
Everything's bad.
No, God is good, and we need tounderstand what's happening so
we can partner with what God'strying to do with our bodies.
And allergies is no different.

Rebecca Twomey (10:51):
He's throwing that as a sign to us to say,
hey, something's up here.
And we've been talking aboutthis, the how our society today
is all about suppression ofthose symptoms.
But what we're trying to talkabout, and what you're really
sharing, your mission is nopartner with the Lord because

(11:12):
He's trying to teach yousomething and He's trying to
help you heal.
So let's tap into that.
So I can definitely relate tothis from both ends when it
comes to allergies.
The uh something that shouldn'tbe inside of your body part and
the other side with just kindof seasonal allergies, pet
dander and stuff, because Istarted to randomly have an
allergy to dogs when I was in mylate teen years.

(11:35):
After we had a dog, we hadcats, we I was around animals,
but I was around this one goldenretriever.
And every time I would goaround this dog, my eyes would
swell shut.
And so what did I do?
I went to an allergist and gotallergy tested, and they're
like, Oh, you're allergic toeverything, you're allergic to
mold and dust and mites andtrees and dogs and cats, right?

(11:57):
And at that point in my life, Iyou know didn't know any
better.
I just followed along with whatthey were saying, and they said
you should get allergy shots.
Right.
So I got allergy shots.

Dr. Vaughn (12:08):
Right.

Rebecca Twomey (12:09):
And it I would say in some ways it it, I guess
it did help because at least Iwasn't taking the Claritin stuff
anymore.
I wasn't taking the theantihistamines, but it didn't
teach me anything, right?
I didn't learn anything aboutmy body and the my system and
and the clogs.
It wasn't until years laterwhen I started randomly having

(12:31):
anaphylactic reactions out ofnowhere that I was like, what is
going on here?
And again, I went to anallergist, and you know what she
said to me?
She goes, We're never gonnafigure out what's wrong with
you.
You're just a highly allergicperson.
That was what she said to me.
Funny enough, I had a patchtest done, and one of the

(12:54):
things, which is kind of ironicnow that I'm like so against a
lot of the things that I didback in these days, but my
husband could not believe that Iwas doing this test because
they were literally putting liketoxic chemicals on my back, and
he's like, I can't believeyou're getting these toxic
things put on your body.
But one of the things it led towas saying that there was a dye

(13:16):
allergy, and I was able topinpoint what the problem was,
but it took a couple morereactions.
Yeah, and I found I discoveredI was highly allergic to red
four, which is also calledcarmine, which is made out of
the coconut beetle.
And from what I've read, theyhave this red poison inside of

(13:37):
their bodies that's meant tothey spray it out kind of like a
skunk would to predators, or ifthey're attacked, I guess it's
poisonous to other insects orsomething, or small animals.
I'm I'm not really not reallysure on all the details of of
what, but we use it in cosmeticsand in food products, and it's
highly allergic.

(13:57):
People are highly allergic.
Can I ask you a quick question?

Dr. Vaughn (14:00):
Can I interject?
Biblically speaking, is abeetle clean or unclean?

Rebecca Twomey (14:07):
A beetle is totally unclean.

Dr. Vaughn (14:10):
So is it meant by God to be in the human body?

Rebecca Twomey (14:14):
It should not be in the human body.

Dr. Vaughn (14:18):
Yes, yes, it really is a spiritual battle.

Rebecca Twomey (14:22):
You are a hundred percent on this.
This should have never beeninside of my body.
Of course, I'm living in theworld, right?
And I don't know what this is.
Oh, red four.
No one explains that red fouris made out of these bugs.
But then as soon as I put thepieces together, I'm like, wow,
this is crazy that we're usingpoison inside of foods and in

(14:46):
cosmetics and lipstick, uh,eyeshadows.
They're in almost every branduses red four in their
eyeshadows.

Dr. Vaughn (14:54):
Yeah.

Rebecca Twomey (14:55):
And it's um, it's so this is, I guess this is
all to say these are twodifferent types of reactions.
Just like you said, one of themis kind of environmental, and
then this was something I wasputting inside of myself that I
never should have.
This shouldn't be ingested.
And I don't know how to tellpeople or guide people on how to
avoid this kind of thing, except for to say, read the

(15:16):
ingredient lists on the thingsthat you put inside your body
and look into them.
But I guess that's the problemwith processed foods, right?
Yeah, maybe we we shouldn't beuh having having processed
foods.
Well, we shouldn't, but anyhow,it's all to say this kind of
led down this detox route andthis idea and this concept that

(15:38):
you know I needed to cleanse mysystem from blockages from the
seasonal stuff, but then alsothis reaction to this poison
that was being put inside.
Yeah, so I think a lot ofpeople have have both of those,
right?
We have the peanut allergypeople that fall on the maybe
that's um more similar to thered four thing, and the seasonal

(16:02):
or cedar fever people who whomight have things on more of the
seasonal side.
So yeah, you know, I'm gonnalet you go where you want to go
with that.

Dr. Vaughn (16:12):
So I was gonna get practical because I think it's
important for people to knowpractically what they can do for
their seasonal allergies, somevery, very simple things.
And then I was gonna touch onfood allergies because it is a
bit of a different animal.
Okay.
Let's do it.
So pun intended.
So um the seasonal allergiesfrom a practical standpoint is

(16:36):
going to be uh formulas.
Now, now there's differentherbs and different things I've
used over the years.
Um, my favorite formula iscalled Hello Blossom.
It's by Herbally Grounded.
You know, we we have a storeand sell these things, but I've
used that for 10 years withpeople with allergies.
So it has herbs that help withcirculation in the head.

(16:58):
So for the eye, sinuses, circulation herbs, and then the
first ingredient is clay, bitnight clay.
And so the clay binds theallergens and pulls them out of
the system.
And so what you have to do isyou have to take enough to stop
the uh response or to havesymptom improvement.
So usually have people take twoevery couple of hours until

(17:20):
symptoms improve, and then theycan take like four a day for
maintenance.
Okay.
So that's the hello blossom orany formula with clay.
You can take liquid clay, putit in a little water, and drink
it.
Again, that's gonna bind oradsorb, not absorb, adsorb, bind
things that shouldn't be thereand pull them out of the system.
You can take naturalantihistamines.

(17:40):
Uh, there's one called dehistthat I really like
orthomolecular.
It's all kinds of naturalantihistamines out there that
help people with allergicresponses.
But I mentioned the cleanses.
So the colon cleanse, I wouldsay, would be first.
That's huge.
Kidney cleanse and lymphaticsystem cleanse.
And lymph actually probablybeing one of the key things to

(18:02):
work on and cleanse where a lotof these quote unquote filters
are blocked.
Um, that's one of my favoritecleanses.
I have lots of stories andtestimonials from people, all
kinds of things, like doing thelymphatic cleanse that have that
the healing benefits they'veseen from the lymph cleanse.
So that's a big one.
And then here's one of myfavorite, favorite things that

(18:24):
everyone needs to really jumpon.
I at some point it'd be greatto talk about the mouth and and
dental stuff and the role thatthat plays.
Um, but I'm the head ingeneral, specifically the sinus
cavity.

Rebecca Twomey (18:39):
Okay.

Dr. Vaughn (18:39):
Okay, so a lot of people have heard about neti
pots.

Rebecca Twomey (18:42):
Oh, yeah.

Dr. Vaughn (18:43):
Okay.
We have something on ourwebsite that's basically like
the Cadillac of NetiPots becauseit's electric and it's called a
Navage.
Have you heard of the Navaj?

Rebecca Twomey (18:54):
I've heard of it, but I don't have one.

Dr. Vaughn (18:56):
So you got to get a Navaj.
Everybody out there's got toget a Navage because this head,
whoo, so many things with thehead.
But if you think about likeAlzheimer's and Parkinson's, and
you know, we're talking aboutallergies right now, but if you
think about these brainconditions, people have toxic
poisons trapped in their head.
And they're just labeling itdegenerative disease and giving

(19:19):
it these disease names likeParkinson's and Alzheimer's and
different things.
There's a reason that thesethings happen.
And it's actually mold andfungus and parasites in these
things affecting the humanbrain.
Okay, so that's a side notethat's like, wow, what?

Rebecca Twomey (19:34):
Yeah, that's amazing.

Dr. Vaughn (19:35):
I'm talking right now, like working on your head
and your sinus cavity in a realserious way to help detox your
brain.
There's a system, if you'veheard of it, called the
lymphatic system.
So the lymphatics is the lymphin your brain, which actually
drains and detoxes your bodywhile you sleep, which is why

(19:59):
sleep is so crucial becausethat's when your brain actually
detoxifies.
But you can help that by doingthings to cleanse and heal your
sinus cavity.
So you do the navage and youput these little tips in your
nose and you start it, itactually pushes and pulls fluid
through your sinus cavity.

(20:19):
Okay.
I took pictures of it one timeof what was coming out of my
sinus cavity.
It was mind-blowing.
I've shown it to people.
I haven't like put it on socialmedia.
But these thick You might getunfollowed.
I'm just kidding.
I know.
Or I might get thousands offollowers.

Rebecca Twomey (20:34):
Yeah, you'll get thousands of followers that
want to see it, and then somepeople will be like, oh, guy
that posts his nasal stuff.

Dr. Vaughn (20:41):
But there's mold and fungus, and you can see it
because it's black and it's gotthese hyphae because they
actually lodge into the sinuscavity.
Um, we have a sinus spray, so Iwould give you the practicals.
We have a sinus spray on ourwebsite called cleansing sinus
spray.

Rebecca Twomey (20:57):
Okay.

Dr. Vaughn (20:58):
It was actually designed by us, it's Spirit of
Health brand, and it has oxygen,a parasite formula, a biofilm
buster that breaks down mold.
It's got Ion Health Gut Restorein it, if you've heard of that.
It has all these productstogether to break mold and
fungus and parasites out of yoursinus cavity.

(21:20):
And you won't believe that youhave this stuff in your sinuses
until you actually start to useit.
So get the cleansing sinusspray.
It's super powerful and potent.
Get the navage and startclearing your sinuses.

Rebecca Twomey (21:34):
Does the navage go all the way through your
cavity, or it's just a tube oneach side and it pushes it?

Dr. Vaughn (21:40):
It's it's a tube on each side, so it pushes, it
pulls through one side.

Rebecca Twomey (21:45):
You don't actually have to like shove it
through or anything.

Dr. Vaughn (21:47):
No, no, no.
You just hold it there.

Rebecca Twomey (21:49):
Okay.

Dr. Vaughn (21:49):
And it pulls it through one side and sucks it
out the other.

Rebecca Twomey (21:52):
That actually sounds a little less invasive
than a neti pot in some ways.

Dr. Vaughn (21:56):
It's actually really easy to use once you.

Rebecca Twomey (21:57):
Because a neti pot, I mean, you really gotta
like get that pressure going outof the other side.

Dr. Vaughn (22:01):
Yep.
So it's way easier to use.
What comes out is mind-blowing.
Um, I add humic and folbicminerals to mine, liquid form.
Um, Mother Earth Labs has ahumic and folbic SC, super
concentrated.
Iodine, you can put a few dropsof iodine in there because
iodine detoxifies the brain andthe pineal gland and iodine's in

(22:23):
every cell of the body.
It's crucial to human function.
So I love adding iodine to it.
You can add essential oils, alittle peppermint, a little
eucalyptus.
You know, don't go crazybecause you know it's your
sinuses and it's a sensitivearea.
But man, it's amazing howquickly you can clear seasonal
allergies by clearing out thehead sinus brain area.

(22:45):
So another thing I'll mentionthat I like because it's a
formula I created and I love it,on our website called Sinus and
Brain Steam Detox.

Rebecca Twomey (22:54):
Okay.

Dr. Vaughn (22:55):
So it's an herbal formula.
You boil water, then you addthe herbs to the boiling water,
take a towel, put it over yourhead.
Ah.
And the herbs open upeverything, gets that mucus, you
know, uh unclogged, and it hasherbs in it like oregano and
thyme and differentantimicrobial herbs, but it also

(23:17):
has the eucalyptus and mentholcrystals and salt in it.
So it's gonna kill infections,it's gonna open up your sinus
cavity, it's gonna start to uhto emulsify or break down that
mucus.
And so I'm just reallyhighlighting here that
detoxifying your head is key toyou overcoming chronic

(23:40):
allergies, number one, becausethe mucosal system is the main
problem.
So I'd work on this first, workon your colon cleanse, work on
your lymphatic system cleanse.
And if you do those things, seasonal allergies will never
exist for you again.

Rebecca Twomey (23:58):
Beautiful.
Clean it out, clean out thesystem.

Dr. Vaughn (24:01):
Yep, it's all about cleansing, cleansing, cleansing,
cleansing.

Rebecca Twomey (24:04):
It makes sense to me.
It definitely makes sense afterhaving gone through, uh, like I
said, years of the other sideof things, taking the
antihistamines and stuff, andthen going through an actual
where I was cleansing my bodyfrom this stuff.
And I haven't taken anantihistamine in years.

Dr. Vaughn (24:22):
Hallelujah.

Rebecca Twomey (24:23):
Yeah.

Dr. Vaughn (24:23):
Cool.
So food allergies.
So food allergies, think aboutthe things that people are
allergic to.
What is gluten?
What is casein?
What is in nuts?
Okay.
It's a protein, they're allproteins.

Rebecca Twomey (24:43):
Okay.

Dr. Vaughn (24:43):
So undigested proteins getting through the
colon into other parts of thebody where they weren't designed
to be, is triggering an immunesystem response or histamine
response.
So think of it like what'sgoing on in your gut, what's
going on in your bowels, that'swhere the food allergy is.

(25:07):
It's a gut problem.
It's a bowel problem.
You need to clean your colon, you need to clean your bowels.
You have leaky gut.
So you're not going to havefood allergies and food
sensitivities if you don't haveyou've heard this term leaky
gut.

Rebecca Twomey (25:21):
Can you define that for folks?
Because I think maybe a lot ofpeople hear the word, the term
leaky gut, but they don't knowwhat it means.

Dr. Vaughn (25:27):
Yeah.
So so leaky gut is it's kind ofwhat it sounds like.
It's your gut should not allowthings deeper into your
lymphatic system or your bloodor your organs that aren't
designed to be there.
They're supposed to be handled, digested, eliminated out
through your bowels.

(25:48):
And the only things, themicronutrients and the things
that you need are the onlythings that should be allowed
into your bloodstream.
So I so it's just my belief.
And I mean, I've seen 10,000people over 12 years, uh, worked
with a lot of chronic bowelconditions.
It's one of my specialties, Iguess you could say, Crohn's and

(26:10):
colitis and diverticulitis andthose things.
Every single one of thosepeople has chronic infections in
their gut, and they've neverbeen told it.
So there is a strongcorrelation, and and I don't
want to say 100% because I don'twant to be like totally
dogmatic, but I have yet to finda person with a severe dairy

(26:34):
allergy that didn't haveparasites.

Rebecca Twomey (26:37):
Interesting.

Dr. Vaughn (26:38):
Okay, so if you have a dairy allergy, 99% chance you
have parasites.
The more food allergies, themore sensitivities you have, the
more chronic bowel problem youhave.
And very likely the moreproblems you have with
parasites, mold, fungus, andother infectious disease that
gets in the bowels.

(26:58):
So to answer your question ofwhat causes leaky gut, it's
fungus and mold and parasitesgetting into your bowel walls
and opening up pockets of yourbowels that shouldn't be open
that allow toxins and poisonsand waste out into your
bloodstream and liver and otherorgans that's triggering immune

(27:19):
system response because yourimmune system is an army that's
supposed to protect you fromthings that shouldn't be there,
from foreign invaders.
So now all of a sudden we havegluten and casein from dairy and
peanuts and whatever.
Eggs, a lot of people areallergic to eggs, these
undigested proteins leakingthrough the bowel wall,
triggering an immune systemresponse.

(27:40):
And that's a food allergy.
And so that's why it'sdifferent than seasonal
allergies.
But I have seen food allergiesclear time and time again with
parasite cleanses.

Rebecca Twomey (27:51):
Interesting.

Dr. Vaughn (27:52):
My own mother was allergic to eggs and dairy and
all kinds of things, and she didsome parasite cleansing, and
all of a sudden she could eatthose things again and not have
a problem.
Wow.
One of my favorite so how Icleared my own meat allergy, I
noticed that when I ate redmeat, I would break out in
hives.
And it's kind of a crazy storyof how I discovered it.

(28:13):
Because I didn't know what wasgoing on at first, but by the
third time I figured out whatwas triggering it.
It's not fun.
So I did not only bowelcleansing and parasite
cleansing, but so like when Irecommend cleanses, and on our
website, we have free downloadsof where you can get a colon
cleanse, parasite cleanse.
You can get those things forfree on our website under

(28:34):
programs, but I'll always uhcouple a pair uh a colon cleanse
with a parasite cleanse.
So do a colon cleanse and aparasite cleanse together.
Uh, the advanced parasitecleanse that we have is I'm sure
you've heard of Cell Core withsome of the other practitioners
and people you're talking about.
Cellcore, Bioscience has thebest products for parasite
cleansing.
You uh couple those thingstogether, that's huge for

(28:59):
cleansing your bowels, gettingparasites out of your bowels,
clearing these food allergies.
The thing I used primarily isan enzyme.
So I do enzyme therapy.
I use enzyme therapeutically.
A lot of people think aboutenzymes, they just, oh, you take
an enzyme to help you digestyour food.
Sure.
Using enzymes therapeuticallyis taking enzyme at high dosage

(29:23):
to clean up all that old waste, all those old undigested
proteins that are triggeringimmune responses.
You can high dose enzymes on anempty stomach and it'll clean
all that waste out.
So that's what I did.
I I high dosed an enzyme.
It's just called digest.

(29:46):
It's by perfect balance.
And the reason I use the digestby perfect balance, because
there's a bazillion enzymes onthe market, is because it has
the highest concentration ofenzymes in one formula I've ever
seen.

Rebecca Twomey (29:58):
And where do they get these enzymes from?

Dr. Vaughn (30:01):
The enzymes come from all kinds of different
sources.
Um, some plant-based, someanimal-based.
Okay.
Uh like serapeptides.
Serapeptase actually comes froma silkworm.
I don't know if you've heard ofyou've heard of prop probably
bromalane coming from pineapple.
So that they all have differentsources.
Okay.
But what they do is they cleanup this old undigestic waste.

(30:21):
So I use digest by perfectbalance, and then they have one
called protease.
So protease is proteolyticenzymes, and protease is going
to be specific to breaking downand digesting proteins in the
body.
So many things related toundigested proteins in the body,
like fibromyalgia, for example, which is fibrin, which is scar

(30:44):
tissue, which is a proteinthat's built up in the scar
tissues.
Okay.
So I'm just explaining how Iovercame my food allergy of red
meat was by high high dosingdigest and protease enzymes by
perfect balance.
And I'm saying therapeuticallyon an empty stomach.
So like when you wake up beforebed, not with meals, so it can

(31:07):
break down old waste in thebody.
And now all of a sudden you caneat that food again because you
don't have this excessiveamount in your system that the
body's immediately nowtriggered, and and there's an
immune system response.
Does that make sense?

Rebecca Twomey (31:24):
Makes sense.
Yeah.
So now you get to enjoy redmeat again.

Dr. Vaughn (31:28):
Now I can eat red meat again.
Praise the Lord.

Rebecca Twomey (31:31):
That's awesome.
Well, that is fantasticinformation for folks to have in
their arsenal because I know somany people struggling with
peanut, dairy, egg allergies, asyou mentioned.
The laundry list of people Iknow that have allergies that I
need to send this episodeepisode to now is just is

(31:53):
running through my brain.

unknown (31:55):
Yeah.

Rebecca Twomey (31:56):
But super helpful.
Anything else that you want toshare about allergies?

Dr. Vaughn (32:01):
I don't think so.
I mean, I think we touched onit.
I just want people to know thatthere's things you can do.
There's a reason why it'shappening.
God's trying to show ussomething.
He's trying to tell ussomething.
He's trying to teach ussomething because he wants us to
be whole.
He wants us to be healthy.
He wants us to be well.
He doesn't want us just tocover it up and pretend it's not
there.
Now, I will say if you'rehaving anaphylactic, you want to

(32:24):
avoid that thing at all costsand you don't want to risk
anaphylaxis.
But again, that just shows theseverity of the leaky gut
problem, the severity of likelythe parasite or the infectious
disease going on in that person.
And we don't hear those things.
Nobody, who's taught us thatinformation that that's really
what's going on?
And so that's the beauty ofwhat I get to do is I get to

(32:47):
help people with chronic illnessactually teach them and show
them why they have it and helpthem to overcome it and know
what to do for the future.

Rebecca Twomey (32:55):
That's a beautiful thing for sure.
Yeah, definitely.
I um I didn't have thisresource when I was going
through these issues.
I wish I would have known youthen, but here we are today, and
I'm learning a ton.

So, quick question (33:06):
Can you do a colon cleanse when you're
pregnant or a liver cleanse whenyou're pregnant?

Dr. Vaughn (33:14):
Yes.
So there are a couple cleansesthat I and there are videos on
this specifically on YouTubeabout pregnancy and cleansing.
So if you search those things, you'll find it's it's amazing.
Like I don't want to say have avideo for everything, but I
have a lot of videos.
Um, but I did do a videospecifically on that topic.
So the main cleanses Irecommend when a woman's

(33:35):
pregnant is the colon cleanseand the kidney cleanse.
And the colon cleanse is greatbecause the colon is so
important, as we mentioned, butit's it's nutritive.
That cleanse has enzymes in it,chlorella, vitamin C, like
crucial things that you need forgood health.
And it helps clear the bowels, but it doesn't involve anything

(33:56):
invasive or anything uh likethose really strong um like
bowel movers.
It's not about that.
Um, it's about helping uh bulkand cleanse and move things
through the bowels.
And so I love the coloncleanse, the kidney cleanse when
women are pregnant.
I don't recommend our livercleanse, but I do recommend

(34:18):
women do our liver detox onetea, because those are all safe
herbs that you can take whilepregnant.
Or like I like the phytocore byortho molecular, like there's
some good liver formulas.
Liver life by BioRay is aliquid.
So there's a lot of reallygood, just safe liver formulas
the women can do to just supporttheir liver while they're

(34:39):
pregnant.
And then I would also add beefliver capsules, which I know
you're a fan of.
Yeah.
Taking beef liver capsules withpregnancy, also huge, very
beneficial to the liver.
So that's what I wouldrecommend during pregnancy.

Rebecca Twomey (34:51):
Perfect.
Awesome.
Thank you so much for anothergreat informational episode.
