You probably know what your brain is like on drugs (fried eggs anyone?), but do you know what your brain is like on sex? Sex, like drugs, causes some pretty remarkable things to happen to that organ between your ears.
To figure things out, researchers have used fancy machines like fMRI (Functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging) Machines and PET (Positron Emission Tomography) scans to measure blood flow and neuron activity in the brain during orgasm. And the result is that scientists have learned some pretty amazing stuff, all of which we share with you in this episode.
