Speaker 1 (00:01):
Welcome everyone.
Welcome back to another episodeof the Pagan Preacher, this
Spiritual Journey, talking todayabout why we can't, as
individuals, live our liveswithout labels, without
descriptive religious titles.
(00:23):
Why can't we simply be what itis that we are?
Why can't we walk our own paths, our own individual paths,
without constant persecution?
We live in a country that sayswe're free, that we shouldn't
(00:44):
have persecution, and, eventhough persecution doesn't
necessarily come from ourgovernment, it comes from the
religious people within ourcountry and around the world,
people that for some reason, feel that they have to play the
role of their God, of their God.
You know, I often sit and justponder what it would be like to
(01:09):
be able to walk your spiritualjourney without labels, without
these fundamental laws of whatyou have to do and what you
can't do, and that we can simplylearn to listen and learn to
follow the voice that's withinus, learn to recognize who we
(01:36):
are and what it is that we'rehere for, what it is that
completes us.
We have so many people, so manydifferent radical extremists
that want to push their religion, their narrative, in our
(01:59):
country, in our lives, our homes, now we even see it in our
schools.
It just seems to grow and growand grow.
It seems like maybe we cannever achieve peace as long as
we have religion in publicaffairs, in public places, that
(02:28):
there is a place for religion inour lives, or should I say, a
place of spirituality in ourlives, because religion is
man-made.
It's man-made rules.
Some will try to tell you that,no, these are God-ordained
rules.
But no, these are rules appliedby man trying to be more
(02:54):
perfect, trying to be more likeGod, rather than just letting
the God within us develop and bereal and be real and be true.
Religion can't save anybody.
It can't even give usenlightenment.
It can't.
It can't let us grow or we canget no growth from it.
(03:20):
Because unless we grow frominside out, we can never truly
grow.
Unless we can be open to thevoice within us, the kingdom
that is within us, we can neverbe truly free.
(03:41):
Because most of us, of us, wewalk this, we walk this earth,
we walk our country, trying tobe someone else, trying to make
everyone else around us happy, trying to make our Christian
parents happy, or trying to makeour Muslim parents happy, or
(04:03):
whoever it may be, rather thantrying to make our Muslim
parents happy, or whoever it maybe rather than trying to just
be.
You know that the Christianshave a say that God is in
control.
But if God is in control, whydo we have so many people feel
that they have to more thanshare the gospel, more than
(04:26):
share love, but they have toconstantly, constantly be the
physical force of God, be thenegative pushback, the
resistance of every otherreligion, the resistance of
every other religion?
If God is truly in control, then why does he need fleshly
(04:50):
people to do every action onthis earth?
Or does he?
Maybe the reason why we have somany issues is the fact that we
have people that want to playGod, that feel that they have to
intervene for God, that theyfeel that they need to not only
(05:17):
teach and guide, but that theyhave to physically pick us up
and put us where we're supposedto be, because some of us just
aren't in tune or intelligentenough to do it on our own.
And agreed, we all come from animmature state until spirit
(05:39):
gets us to the point where weobviously are more mature, us to
the point where we obviouslyare more mature.
But what we can do is we teachpeople how to listen, how to
discern, how to distinguish thevoice that is within, to the
(06:02):
voices that are surrounding us.
How does someone distinguishtruth from lies, reality from
fiction when it comes tospirituality?
Because there are so many, somany things out there, so many
different beliefs out there, andobviously they can't all be
(06:25):
true.
But this factor, this factor ofpeople trying to play God, it
destroys peace, it destroysmankind's ability to live free,
(06:47):
and the whole time religiouspeople are speaking about
freedom, especially in theUnited States of America.
We speak of freedom, religiousfreedom that we're free to be
who it is we are and withoutpersecution.
Free to be who it is we are andwithout persecution.
(07:09):
But how many pagan festivals doyou see without a Christian
influence surrounding it,telling everyone that they're
gonna burn in Hades for whatthey're doing and that they need
to end the corruption and pushthe devil away?
Or how many psychic businessesgo without persecution?
What would happen if a Muslimgroup decided it wanted to open
(07:35):
a temple up on the square?
Or if a pagan society decidedthey wanted to start an
organization in your local town, decided they wanted to start an
organization in your local town?
How many believe that this wouldhappen without resistance and
(08:01):
how many can tell me that theytruly believe that this is a
country of religious freedom, because I speak this over and
over and over that the onlyreligious freedom that I see in
this country is for theChristian Church.
It seems like the only peoplein this country that truly have
the freedom that we call freedomis the Christian Church.
(08:23):
Is it because that's the wayGod wants it?
No, because if it is the wayGod wanted it, if it is the way
your God wanted it, why does heneed you to intervene?
Why does he need a church onevery corner?
Why does he need it on theradio stations and flyers and
(08:46):
pamphlets?
Why can't you simply get onsocial media and express
yourself without being attackedor persecuted from a Christian?
Now, I understand as a formerChristian or a former churchgoer
, should I say that I understandthe desire to attempt to save
(09:09):
souls.
When you're in that kind ofindoctrination, you have a
burden.
You want to teach people, youbelieve what it is that you have
is true, and when you'reindoctrinated, you believe that
everything else is wrong.
And until we get out of thatmindset, we'll never have peace,
(09:29):
nor will we ever have truth, because we're all spinning our
wheels, because not even theChristian church in America
knows what the truth is?
My gosh, just look outside andlook through your phone book If
we still have those now.
People just got to look throughGoogle.
(09:50):
But you know how many churchesare in your town, how many
different denominations in yourtown, how many different
teachings are in your town.
How many Christians willridicule another Christian group
, saying that they're not reallyChristian, and that Christian
group will ridicule anotherChristian group saying that
they're not real either.
(10:11):
At the whole time, these sameboth of these Christian groups
are ridiculing the pagans andthe Muslim and the Buddhists and
the Hindu, saying that they'renot real, that they don't serve
the real God, that they allserve Satan.
We all know that's not true.
We all know that if we studythat, the word Satan isn't even
(10:33):
a name, it's a title.
It means adversary or adversary.
I can't even talk Adversary.
Yeah, you know what I'm tryingto say.
Sorry about that, that I'mgetting tongue-tied.
Adversary, there you go.
But you know, in this country wehave a turmoil and a problem
(11:00):
and it doesn't come from thegovernment when it comes to
spirituality.
Not going to get into ourproblems with politics right now
, because we all know we haveproblems in politics, lord knows
.
We see it all over the placeright now, people trying to push
(11:21):
the Ten Commandments back inschool.
You know when some people wouldthink that that's great, oh,
that's just fantastic.
God is doing miracles.
God is doing work.
No, god is not doing it,because God believes in choice.
It's all about choice.
How disrespectful it is to haveone religion in school and no
(11:44):
others.
People want to say that you know, the United States and the laws
that we have were all basedupon the Bible.
But anybody that knows thetruth knows that's just not the
case and we can't use the Bible.
We can't have a biblical USA,because why can't we have a
(12:08):
biblical USA?
Even for the people thatbelieve, the Bible is the dead
set, unquestionable, undeniablelaw and rule of God.
Where do we draw the line?
Because we understand that theBible tells us to stone a
(12:31):
rebellious child to death.
If you've done everything youcan do and you've taken them to
the elders and there's nothingleft you can do, it says to take
him out in the field and stonethem to death.
Are we going to do that?
It also says that it's fullyacceptable to get a good price
and just sell your daughter.
Can we?
(12:51):
Can we do that?
What about the foods the biblesays we can't eat?
Are we supposed to make thoselaws in the country that we can
no longer eat pork or or lobsteror shrimp or anything like that
, because that's in the bibletoo, you know.
We could go on and on and on.
It's like, well, we need tomake again.
(13:12):
Are we crazy?
We once had a day or a timewhere the church controlled
things.
It was called the Dark Ages.
It's when more people died, more people were murdered and
slaughtered and slain than anyother time in history.
(13:34):
Because religion destroys,spirituality frees.
And I said, you know, I oftenponder when it's in the evening
time, as I even now, you know, when I'm trying to speak to you
and I'm sitting in my office andI'm trying to burn a little bit
(13:57):
of sage and I've got a little, paul Sancho, you know just
trying to clear the air and helpbring a little bit of peace to
a crazy day, because it's chaosout there, isn't it?
People going to and fro, speeding everywhere they go.
(14:18):
Everybody's in a hurry,everybody's in a hurry to get
there and get back or whateverit is.
Nobody just enjoying life.
We're all just going throughthe motions, all of us trying to
just survive when happiness isso simple.
(14:42):
But we need to stop, we need totake a breath, we need to
reflect.
We might even need to take astep back.
We may need to quit doingentirely what we're doing, but
we need to slow down and take alook at what we're doing, and I
(15:07):
urge I urge Christianseverywhere before you try to
make this country everythingthat you want it to be, remember
, do unto others as you wouldhave them do unto you.
(15:30):
What would you feel or how wouldyou feel if we wanted this
country to go completely paganor completely Muslim or
completely Hindu or Buddhist?
Would you like that?
Of course you wouldn't.
Nobody would like that, becausewe all want freedom.
(15:52):
That's all we want is freedom, and God does not need your
intervention, nor your help, noryour persecution to do the work
that needs to be done.
(16:12):
We spend more time trying toridicule and belittle and
persecute than simply loving, spend more time trying to build
buildings and send missionariesand all these other things,
(16:35):
rather than doing just whatwe're supposed to be doing or
what you're supposed to be doingHelping those that need help,
feeding the hungry, helping thewidow, helping people that need
(16:55):
help, not judging them, notridiculing them for where they
are or how they're living.
Simply love them and help them.
Show them the God that youbelieve is real and true.
(17:17):
Don't speak it, show it.
Even Yeshua said the kingdom ofGod is within you.
Anybody that knows Hindu orBuddhist knows it's all from
within.
When we start talking aboutEgyptian, it's all about knowing
who we from within.
When we start talking aboutEgyptian, it's all about knowing
(17:40):
who we are within.
Over and over and over, spirituality points to within.
Until we realize who we are, wecan never be everything that we
can be.
It's not about being saved,it's about finding yourself.
(18:03):
That's where you're saved, finding who you are on the
inside, rather than justspending your whole life in this
physical vessel and dying, never understanding who you were
and why you were here.
You know there's many, manytimes that I've heard you know
(18:27):
when we talk aboutextraterrestrials and I know
people want to laugh when youstart talking about those things
but I heard once that we wereconsidered just containers.
And do you know why theyconsidered us just containers?
Because we don't know who weare, we don't know our potential
(18:52):
, because the church and so manyreligious bodies hinder us from
ever learning who we are.
You look through the Bible andmost of it, except for the words
of Jesus or Yeshua, talk aboutthings outwardly of the body how
we're supposed to act, howwe're supposed to dress our
(19:16):
length of hair, where we'resupposed to go and where we're
supposed to act, how we'resupposed to dress Our length of
hair, where we're supposed to goand where we're supposed to be.
But if you want to change yourlife, if you want to grow in
enlightenment and inspirituality, if you want to
become in tune with the universeand the things around you and
God, it starts within you andthe things around you in God.
(19:36):
It starts within you, walking apath without persecution.
That's what this is about.
If you take anything from thispodcast, it's about whatever
religion you are.
Don't push that religion onothers.
(19:58):
Don't feel that you have tolabel yourself.
People say well, what are you?
I consider myself merely aseeker, a seeker of truth.
That means I'm many things.
I have said that there arethings in the Bible that are
true and I hold that in my heart, and I also know Buddhistshas
(20:22):
and I know hindu and I know manyother religions that I keep
within my heart because there istruth in many different things.
I am a seeker, just as Yeshuawas in the 30 years that aren't
shown in the Bible, because, aswe know, you know he lived 33
years and only three years ofthat is actually within
(20:45):
scripture.
During the 30 years he waslearning many, many other
different things that the churchdoesn't want you to know,
doesn't want you to, doesn'twant you to, because they want
to control you.
Now, the people that's withinthe church and a lot of the
pastors they don't want tocontrol you.
It was the beginning, how itstarted, and the very top at
(21:10):
this ladder, they are the onesthat wish that control.
Most of the people within thechurch and leaders within the
church are as blind as everybodyelse, and that's how they get
these things done.
They have convinced the worldthat the 66 books of the Bible
is all there is, and as long asyou know that you have achieved
everything you need to do.
Well, that's not the case.
(21:33):
If you truly want, if you trulywant truth and you truly want to
know God, then you will gobeyond the book and get into
spirit.
You will get out of the fourwalls of the church and seek an
(21:57):
odour so you can find.
Seek that verb, look, don't beafraid to fail.
Don't be afraid to use yourpower of discern to discern
right and wrong.
Use the religions that you knowas a tool of discern.
(22:19):
Filter things within your mindand your heart, your emotions,
because it tell you you willfeel whether this is right or
whether this is wrong.
Inside you is a light and themore you feed it, the more it
will glow and larger it willbecome.
(22:39):
We are more than a physicalvessel.
We are a spirit having aphysical experience.
But you are not going to teachthat, or you're not going to
learn that from people that wantto ridicule you and persecute
you and tell you that you're onthe wrong path, that you need to
get on this path because that'sthe only way.
(23:04):
At the same time, they want tosay that's the narrow way,
that's the narrow way and that'sthe only way.
At the same time, they want tosay that's the narrow way,
that's the narrow way and that'sthe hard way.
But yet it's the largest, biggest, most powerful
organization in the world, achurch almost on every corner,
it seems.
It doesn't seem very narrow tome.
It seems very powerful and veryloud and very determined to not
(23:33):
change from consent, but changefrom conquest.
Take, destroy and consume thoseemotions, those feelings we've
got to expel from this world.
We've got to get to the pointwhere we just allow people to be
(23:55):
who they are, just allow peopleto grow.
If they ask you yourspirituality, if they ask you
who you are or what you believe, then express that, but express
that as a seeker, because wedon't.
We, none of us know for a factall truth.
We know our truth, we know whatspirit has revealed to us, but
(24:20):
that could be different forsomeone else, and we have to
honor that and believe that andhold that to be true.
That I can guide you to spirit,I can guide you to finding your
truth, but only you, only youknow that truth to be your truth
, the truth that's within you,the truth of who you are, the
(24:42):
truth of your purpose and thetruth to your destiny and spirit
.
It is the only one that canshow you that Within you are the
answers.
The answers aren't in church.
The answers believe it or notare not in the temple.
Now, sometimes, yes, we canfind ourselves in those places,
but we're finding ourselves.
We're finding what is withinourselves.
(25:05):
Don't mix the physical withspiritual.
When I say find yourself, I'mnot speaking about anything
physical.
I'm talking about usspiritually finding the true
essence of ourselves, the I amwithin us, the I am, the I am
(25:25):
all things, all things aroundyou, all things alive.
I am connected to everything.
Take some time, meditate onthis, ponder this what if we
could just live this life andjust be free?
(25:52):
And if you're one of thosepeople that decide that feel
that they have to play God, thatthey have to intervene or
intervene every time someonedoes something that is not
according to your faith or yourreligion, don't feel that God
expects you to go and persecutethem, because God doesn't.
(26:16):
God wants you even, as your ownbook says, to worry about the
stick that's in your own eyebefore you ever start talking
about another, because no onecan judge righteously when you
are unrighteous yourself.
Let us all just allow freedom, allow spirit to move as spirit
(26:45):
chooses to move.
Do you believe that your God isin control?
Do you believe, then show thatlive, that just love your
neighbor, help your neighbor, dowhat it takes to show brotherly
(27:06):
and sisterly love for eachother, no matter what they are,
no matter what religion or raceor creed or sexuality or sexual
orientation, because none ofthese things matter physically,
because ultimately, we arespirits in a physical experience
and spirit is the thing thatwill live on past this physical
(27:32):
body.
Remember that when you look uponsomeone, that that is a spirit,
that is an energy source fromthe divine.
Don't look on the outside.
Don't look at all the theerrors and flaws and mistakes
and boo-boos and whatever elsethat you can possibly see.
(27:55):
Don't look and say I can seethe sins all over this person.
Just love them, help them andyou will be surprised.
You will be amazed at whathappens to society when people
(28:17):
are simply loved, respected andallowed to choose for themselves
what spirit has for them.
Thank you everybody for takingthe time to listen.

But, of all things, be blessedand blessed be.
