Mike’s journey into addiction began in college, where he started using hard drugs and eventually developed an opiate addiction. Although he believed he could manage this lifestyle, the chaos eventually took over. In our conversation, Mike shares how the relationships he formed in early recovery provided a crucial foundation, even as he continued to struggle with relapse and honesty.
Today, Mike opens up about the significant changes in his life, his unwavering faith in a higher power, and the central role his 12-step program plays in his ongoing recovery. His story is a powerful reminder that recovery is possible, and that support and faith can lead to profound transformation.
