In the gripping conclusion of "The Devil Went Down to Missouri," the veil between worlds grows perilously thin in the dead of night. Our saga resumes with a clandestine meeting in the street at 2:37 AM, where revelations about the supernatural forces at play within a seemingly ordinary home are laid bare.

Our guest recounts a chilling roll call of spectral inhabitants: Ruth Greenfield, the thin-lipped, curly-haired guardian of the household, and the youthful spirits of Jimmy and Charlie, whose playful antics belie a darker truth. But nothing prepares us for the disclosure of a demonic entity named Bader, whose malevolent designs on the family's psychic son, Tyler, cast a shadow of dread over their lives.

The story unfolds with cinematic intensity, as our guest shares the desperate measures taken to protect her family. From the battle waged by the spirit of Ruth to the name that holds power over the demon, we are drawn into a world where the spiritual and corporeal collide. The family's struggle against unseen forces becomes a testament to the resilience of faith and the unbreakable bonds of kinship.

As dawn breaks, the aftermath reveals a transformed family, their lives irrevocably altered by the knowledge of what lurks beyond the threshold of perception. Tune in to this harrowing tale of darkness, deliverance, and the enduring light of hope on the latest episode of The Redacted Podcast.

Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hello and thank you for tuning in to part two of our
series the Devil Went Down toMissouri.
This will be the final part.
If you haven't already listenedto part one, obviously, make
sure you go and do that.

Speaker 2 (00:15):
Otherwise enjoy, thank you so I left my food,

(00:54):
went into the.
We all, three of us, all fourof us them three and then myself
we walk into the middle of thestreet and by this time it's 2,
30 in the morning, two, 37.
I actually remember that, leaving the, leaving the living
room, going in the middle of thestreet and it's dark, by all
means two, 30 in the morning, and I'm like we cannot tell you

(01:15):
in the house what's going on.
And I'm like okay, and they'relike there's multiple facets
going on in your house.
You have multiple entities.
So I'm like okay, so I'm likeall right, so what do you got
for me?
Again, I'm still thinkingthey're full of shit.
So they tell me first off, there's a little old lady that's

(01:37):
attached to our house.
They explain to me what thelittle old lady looks like.
They explained to me how she'sgot very thin lips, how she's
got curly hair.
Well, that's Ruth Greenfield.
How would they have known thatI didn't tell them about Ruth?

Speaker 1 (01:55):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:57):
So there's, that lady .

Speaker 1 (01:58):
Did you tell them, as they're explaining this to you.

Speaker 2 (02:01):
I'm waiting till they tell me everything.

Speaker 1 (02:03):
Okay, and.

Speaker 2 (02:03):
I'm just in my head.
I'm like, oh fuck, they are forreal.
So they tell me about ruth.
Then, from there, they tell methat there is two entities
attached to, like teenageentities attached to tyler's
room.
Okay, there's jimmy, andcharlie got it.
How there is a another kidteenager that's attached to my

(02:27):
other son's room downstairs, butthey don't feel like he's
threatening, he's more of aprank prankster, and how he
likes to take things and hidethings.
I'm like, okay, well, you know,I did have my keys hidden in
the refrigerator one time.
Again, I'm still not tellingthem.
This is all in my head.
So we got that.
So then it was.

(02:50):
Then I was like, ok, thatdoesn't seem all bad.
And they said, well, there's ademonic presence In your bedroom
that's attached to your husband.
Oh shit To linger that jumpsbetween your bedroom.

(03:11):
That's attached to your husband.

Speaker 1 (03:12):
Oh shit to linger that jumps between your bedroom
and the garage, which is wheremy husband hangs out.
Now.
That had to send you somechills when you hear that,
because like okay, playful oldpeople and ghosts and things
like that seem like one thing, but when they put that D word
out there, yes, yes.

Speaker 2 (03:33):
So they tell me how this entity has a name.
And they said did you see thelights flickering upstairs?
And I said yeah, and they saidthat was the demonic ghost or
not ghost, I guess the demonicpresence.

(03:54):
I was like, okay, do tell.
So they tell me what happenedwas the reason why those lights
flickered was because the littleold lady that's attached to our
house was downstairs in thebasement or in the garage

(04:15):
fighting with this demonicpresence and has been
continually fighting with thisdemonic presence to keep it away
from the kids, my children, andfrom what they've told me is.
A demonic presence getsstronger if you don't know its

(04:38):
name.
But if you know the name ofthat demon, you can pray it out
of your house, you can rebuke itout, you can cast it out.
And this little old lady hadfinally gotten the name of the

(04:58):
demon and he was mad at her andthrew her upstairs in the
hallway and that's when thoselights flickered.

Speaker 1 (05:04):
That's the story they gave me wow, and I mean they
must be seeing all of this yes,the sense of the sensitive the,
the mediums.

Speaker 2 (05:15):
They must be yes, wow , yes, yes, they, yes, they did,
yes.
So that's what they said.
I'm like, okay, a little bit ofan overload.
They told me the demon's namewas called Bader, that it looked

(05:37):
like it was a baby demon and, according, for the demon to grow
stronger it had to take a life, and it the easiest life to take
was my husband's, because hewas in a dark place.
And I asked them I'll neverforget I said what does,

(05:59):
ultimately, the demon want?
And that said it wanted our son, tyler, because he was psychic,
he was a medium.
If they got Tyler, it wouldbecome more powerful.
So that's where we were.

Speaker 1 (06:21):
Oh, wow.
And that's why they couldn'ttell me in the house, because
the demon was still in the housethat's that has to be
horrifying to hear that, yes,and I mean they've already kind
of proved to you that, yeah, that they're legit that what

(06:41):
they're saying has been whatyou've been finding out like
hard facts about yep, and nowwhat you thought was maybe just
a couple of playful ghosts isthis whole other thing, this yep
very nefarious presence andabsolutely.
And then they're just going toleave and you have to go back to

(07:02):
bed at three in the morning.

Speaker 2 (07:05):
Right, yeah, so that's where we were.
So I'm like, okay, so where doI?
What do I do?
What do I do?
And they were worried aboutTyler.
Most definitely they weren'tfor sure that Jimmy and Charlie

(07:28):
yes, there was, that they usedto live on the land, but was
that truly jimmy and charlie?
Because could be a demon posingto be his buddies, playing with
him that's what always creepsme out when I when I watch stuff
like that, you hear like okay,it's pretending to be a ghost.
When it's really a demonicpresence.

Speaker 1 (07:48):
Like a playful child ghost and, of course, if there
was something demonic it wouldknow all of that.

Speaker 2 (07:56):
Yes.

Speaker 1 (08:02):
But really, what was keeping that demon at bay was
this little old lady, so that'swhy she was yelling at them yes,
when they were playing yes, ohwow, the little lady that just
gave me chills the little ladyruth.

Speaker 2 (08:16):
She was really attached to tyler.
That my daughter's room, whichwas right next to ty.
Like I told you, she had verythin lips and very curly hair.
My daughter has very, very longcurly hair and the medium said
that they could see pastpictures of her just staying in

(08:38):
Leah's room and she would twirlLeah's hair, just constantly
twirling it.
But she was very concerned andwas watching Tyler too.
Jordan was in California butshe was the one that was keeping
this demonic away.
It was her Wow.

(08:59):
So they wanted me to get thepriest back to the house.
They wanted the priest to comebless the house again.
They wanted us to go the kidsto go through and get baptized,
then every day to do like aBible, and they were Christian.

(09:19):
So I did it.
I like that they have aChristian base Every day wanted
us to do like some type ofprayer, bible study in the front
room, so that type.
So OK, we can do that.
So they left and I rememberthey left.
I remember going back in mybedroom and I laid down in bed

(09:41):
and I was like stiff as a boardCovers over my face Because my
room was haunted.
I mean, that was the darkestarea was there and it was the
garage.

Speaker 1 (09:57):
And your husband's knocked out sleeping at this
point.

Speaker 2 (09:59):
He's knocked out sleeping and doesn't know what
the fuck just happened and whatI know, yeah.

Speaker 1 (10:05):
And you're all by yourself yeah, there's that oh
man, that must have been a roughnight yeah, um.

Speaker 2 (10:15):
So the next day he texted me in the morning and I
remember he's like oh, so whatthe ghost hunters find, lol.
And I was like, do you reallywant to fucking know?
He's like yeah, and I was likeyou better call me then.
So he's like I'll call you onbreak.
So he goes and he calls me.
So I threw up everything theytold me and I remember I'm like

(10:38):
hello, do you hear me?
And he's like and he, it wasjust dead silent.
And he and he's like yeah, andhe was very mellow calling.
I was like mike, what the fuck?
And he's like I know where itcame from.
I was like what do you mean?
You know where it came from?
He goes, I think I know wherethat evil presence could have
came from and why it's been, whyit's attached to me.

(10:58):
I'm like, well, share, I'd liketo know that.
So he tells me that when he wasabout 15 years old, they went to
a place in Kansas City.
It was called, I think, happyRock.
It overlooks the downtownKansas City skyline and he used

(11:20):
to hang out with kids that werea little bit older because they
could drive.
He said he they would go downto Happy Rock and he was called
Happy Rock.
I have to look, I'll have tofind out for sure.
I just like I said it's been alittle bit, but anyways, he used
to hang out with these kidsbecause they could drive and
they would go up there and tothis park and they would get

(11:44):
stoned Because and he's like, Iknow it was bad, he's like, but
because that's just kind of whatwe did I hung out.
We'd always get stoned.
He said I remember one time inparticular, when we were there,
and he said I've been there, youknow 20-30 times, we've done
this.
And he said but this one time hesaid it was like on a Sunday,

(12:08):
and he remembers that it was acement slab and in that cement
slab there was a pentagram, youknow the star or the circle, and
he remembers there was candles, like there is like a ceremony
that taken place, and he's likeI didn't think nothing of it.
He goes like we're too busygetting high and all of a sudden

(12:31):
he goes.
I kicked the candle over andthat was it.
He goes.
I didn't think nothing of it,we joked and laughed about it,
and he goes.
It makes sense.
Now I'm like well, what are youtalking about makes sense.
He said well, when I kicked thatcandle over, that was a Sunday
and he was very much into sports.
He said the next day I broke myleg and I said and he said, and

(12:57):
I never played sports againAfter that.
He said I just kind of constant, he goes, I was, he goes.
I turned into hide from the 70show.
I was Mr Conspiracist and Ismoke pot.
It was like I never was at thesame leg.

Speaker 1 (13:11):
He used to kick over the candle.

Speaker 2 (13:14):
Yeah, yeah.
And I said what about yourbuddies?
And he starts naming.
I think there's like three ofthem.
He names them and I said well, where are they now?
He's like they're all dead.
I was like what do you mean?
They're all dead.

Speaker 1 (13:32):
And he starts telling me they all committed suicide.
Holy shit, were they kickingover candles too?
Yep, they were just messing upthis little ceremony that it
either was about to take place, but they didn't see any people
they just saw this had takenplace the night before and it
was like it was what the stillburning the candles were still

(13:53):
burning yeah, like it was stillthere, like a very light, like
candle burning, burning.

Speaker 2 (14:00):
You leave it all overnight.

Speaker 1 (14:01):
Yeah, very, and they walked up on it and they just
started mashing stuff andprobably joking around like boys
do, and being boys just thoughtit was funny.
Like oh, devil worshipers, I'mgoing to go mess up their stuff.

Speaker 2 (14:16):
Fucking retard, you know you know, just kick the
candle over, you know I'm ateenage boy and I'm invincible
yes, absolutely don't.
They all think that I have one.

Speaker 1 (14:27):
I've done that I was like that too yeah, that that's
it.

Speaker 2 (14:33):
That's all they're doing.
I am yeah, they're all dead myhusband's the only one still
alive that.

Speaker 1 (14:39):
That's really fucked up.
And how old is he at this point?

Speaker 2 (14:48):
45, 48.

Speaker 1 (14:51):
So this was 30 years before that.

Speaker 2 (14:56):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (14:57):
So he thinks some kind of thing has been attached
to him since then.

Speaker 2 (15:02):
Yeah, and it makes sense too.
It totally makes sense, becausehe would go through these
depressions and it was likehighs and lows roller coasters
with him.
And then it was the first sevenyears of our marriage was not
the bliss relationship, and whatyou think you're marrying into,

(15:24):
his family, was not supportiveat all.
I mean, we don't speak to themto this day, to be quite honest,
but that's that's probably adifferent podcast for you.
Um, but he kind of waited laterin life to have kids, and so he
had this dream that when he didhave kids, his parents would be

(15:46):
involved and he kind of createdthis fantasy, fiction world of
what it all could be.
And then it went to shit.
And then how he got screwed overat work.
He lost his job, you know.
Yes, he still had hisemployment, but the job he had
got taken from it.
It was just one thing afteranother and he was at a point of

(16:09):
suicide.
It was till I went to him andwhat really stopped him from, I
think, going over the edge waswhen I told him hey, tyler came
to me and said that those ghostswant him to Jimmy and Charlie,
want him to be like them andwants him to be a spirit.
That's when it was Okay, I gotit.

(16:32):
I got to fix my house, I got tofix my family.

Speaker 1 (16:35):
Now I got to be strong for someone else.

Speaker 2 (16:37):
This isn't about me.
Yes, this is not me.
This is.

Speaker 1 (16:41):
These are my, this are my kids and it's like I mean
this is just so fascinatingbecause you couldn't have
connected these dots.
Looking forward, but thenlooking backwards, it's like
okay, he was at a moment of ofweakness just where life had
just beat him just enough towhere something could kind of

(17:04):
slip in maybe something that waslying asleep or waiting could
kind of come in.
and then it's like, you know, this, um, the older lady ghost,
what was her name?
Again, ruth, ruth.
So this Ruth might have beenlying dormant there as well.
Might not have heard hide norhair from her, or any other

(17:30):
thing, until this demonicpresence comes in.
And that's kind of the storyyou're telling.
So after you tell them this onthe phone, what?
What happens from there?

Speaker 2 (17:45):
He's like get the priest back over, we'll do
whatever it do.
He's like I'll join theCatholic church.
He's like, no, I'm not lettingthis happen.
And he's like we'll get thisfixed.
We'll get this fixed.
I'm like, okay.
So I called father al.
Father al came back over.

(18:07):
Um, he started telling usstories about here in carney, to
where we're not the first placethat he's had to do this.
Um, he then he starts tellingus some older stories about our
town, and where the railroad isbuilt, which is maybe a mile
from our house, was actuallybuilt by the original settlers,

(18:30):
which were like French andIndian fur trader types.
He starts telling us well then, now I'm making the connection.
Well, our first landowners werefur traders.
Well then, now I'm making theconnection.
Well, our first landowners werefur traders.
Well, when they put ourrailroad in town here, they were
putting it in and they foundall sorts of dead bodies and
they put the railroad tracksright on top.
So this town has a lot, a lot.

(19:02):
Like I said, jesse James lives afamily home is very, very close
to us.
You know, I can be there withintwo minutes.
I guess he had a little brotherthat died.
I think his little brother'sname was Samuel from the
Pinkertons.
When the Pinkertons were afterthe James gang and trying to
find him, and when his brotherdied, they hid out over in our

(19:23):
area where our house was.

Speaker 1 (19:26):
And real quick the.
Pinkertons are the outlawhunters.
Those were the investigatorsthat would basically come in and
hunt you down if you wererobbing banks, stagecoaches and
hiding out somewhere.
These guys were like the FBI ofthe time.

Speaker 2 (19:43):
They were absolutely and they bombed the Jesse James
family home and his mom ended uplosing her arm and his little
brother, samuel, died.

Speaker 1 (19:51):
Yeah, they were ruthless.
I mean, some of the storiesabout the Pinkertons are just
it's crazy.
And they were based out of NewYork, weren't they?
Yeah, they worked for the banks.
They were like a private.
That they were based out of newyork, weren't they?
Yeah, they work for the banks.
They're like a private.

Speaker 2 (20:03):
They were hit men yeah, yes, they were, yes, they
were um.
So you know, we had so manydifferent areas that kind of
encompassed this whole story.
The story it's kind of like aperfect storm it was, it was
brewing and father al's tellingus little other things that he's

(20:25):
done before here in carney.
So we were at the first house.
That kind of made me feel alittle better still not best,
but a little bit better.
Well then, um, he came throughthe house and he re-blessed the
whole house, went through eachroom again and this time Tyler
was there, jordan was still goneat wrestling camp, and then it

(20:47):
was Mike and I, and then heblessed all of us, including
Tyler.
Tyler still didn't understandwhat was going on.
He just thought there's a guypraying for him.
Okay, that's fine, grandma doesit too.
He didn't think nothing of it.
So the next day, I remember, after father al had blessed the
house that was that happenedlike on a monday then on tuesday

(21:11):
, on tuesday I was gettingdressed in the hallway again,
mike worked a different typeshift, so I was letting him
sleep.
Tyler comes up to me.
He said, and very excited, very, very excited.
He's like mommy, guess what I'mlike?
What's up, ty, ty?
And he said jimmy and charlieare gone.
I said where?

(21:33):
What do you mean?
They're gone?
He said they went to the lightwith their mom and dad.
And I said well, are you okaywith that?
Yeah, I'm fine.
They're happy they get to seetheir mommy now, and then he
just took off and left like itwas no big deal, yeah no big
yeah, just guess what happenedtoday.

Speaker 1 (21:53):
Yeah, I had chicken nuggets for lunch and jimmy and
charlie went to the light.
Kids are just amazing with thatstuff, that's yeah, fascinating
.

Speaker 2 (22:03):
You know I had to get to work, took him, you know,
took him to preschool, I think,or he was just starting
kindergarten, it's time took himto school and then after school
, you know, we come home thatevening and I do remember
talking to him a little bitabout him.
I'm like, are you okay thatthey're gone?
And he's like, yeah, I'm fine.
And then he said, it's okay, Istill still.

(22:25):
I still see other peopleoutside the window.
I'm like, oh, fuck.
And that's again yeah, and I waslike really, and he's like,
yeah, he said that, but they, they stay outside, they don't
come to in our house.
And I said, well, what's one ofthem, look like.
He starts explaining a man witha, a soup and it has tails, and

(22:47):
how he, he in it's got, he'sgot a really tall hat and it
kind of reminded me like abrahamlincoln type look, and I I
remember I said, well, does itscare you?
He's like now, why would itscare me, mom?
Like I don't know, you know.
So that's when I realized, ok,I don't want to push it and I
don't want him to feel scared.
So I kind of left it at that.

(23:09):
Well then I called the ghost, orghost, we call them our ghost
hunters.
I called them, I told themabout Father Al coming over and
then I told them about whatTyler had said.
So they were happy to see thattransition.
So then that did work out towhere Jimmy and Charlie were not

(23:32):
evil entities, that they wereghosts there.
But that's not to say that theevil entities doesn't take over
them sometimes is the way theyexplained it and that maybe
that's why ruth kept such a goodeye on them and to make sure
that evil's presence wasn'tcoming up to bother them.

(23:53):
I mean, it's the way theyexplained it to me yeah, and we
can only suppose.

Speaker 1 (23:58):
I mean yeah, with all of this stuff, I mean yeah it's
so hard to prove or to get likea hard fact, or a recipe or an
instruction manual no, there isno yeah, I mean there's patterns
, there's things that are alwayskind of similar, but a lot of

(24:21):
it.
You're just supposing andtrying to kind of guess and you
may be wrong, but you're doingthe best you can with the
information you have, I suppose.

Speaker 2 (24:32):
Oh yeah, oh yeah.
So then the ghost huntersdecided, okay, we're going to
come over and recheck your houseand the next couple weeks.
I'm like, okay, cool.
So it was about a month later, more so that they came over.
And when they came over, they're like, oh, I can feel it.

(24:54):
And again they're feeding offeach other.
I'm like, okay, can you talk tome this time?
And they're like and theylaughed at me.
And they're like, yes, um, theysaid last time that they were
over and the evilness was at ourhouse.
How they couldn't even barelygo to the upstairs, especially

(25:15):
by where our bedroom was, because the evil presence was
there so much and they could seeit hanging on mike it would.
It just followed him everywherehe went.
And now the house was moreuplifting, more inviting.
How that evil presence was notattached to mike anymore at all.

(25:37):
Um, that's gotta be good news.
That's gotta feel like a reliefoh yes, but with tyler that they
did see that, um, he is just,he's a psychic medium.
He, he takes that in.
I always thought, if anything,it was my husband that was more

(25:59):
going to be the psychic.
No, it was Mike's oblivious, itwas more, it was Tyler.
It was all Tyler that was, which I found that to be odd.
I always thought it'd be theother way around.

Speaker 1 (26:13):
Why did you think that?

Speaker 2 (26:17):
Because Mike is.
He's a researcher, he's allinto physics and he does.
He graduated high school.
He does not have a collegedegree, but he's very mechanical
.
You know he's different.
He works with his hands.
But I think, ever giving this,if his family would have been

(26:39):
supporter of him, I think hecould have gone very far,
because he's so smart, he lovesphysics, he loves the astronomy,
he is the type that researchesthings and documentaries and,
like the craziness in the worldtoday, he follows all of that
and he I always think he's nutswith some of the stuff that he

(27:02):
comes up with, but then it'slike a year later everything's
coming true.
He's like I told you ithappened.
I told you it happened.

Speaker 1 (27:09):
I mean but he's facts , he's kind of facts-based, yes,
which is almost the opposite ofthe spiritual realm.

Speaker 2 (27:17):
Yes, and.

Speaker 1 (27:19):
I've heard of kids that sometimes have that medium
ability and then as they getolder and more, I guess,
grounded into the real physicalworld, that that kind of leaves
them.

Speaker 2 (27:33):
Yes.

Speaker 1 (27:33):
Absolutely.
It's like it's like the.
It's like Santa Claus, like akid can believe in Santa Claus
yes, because they haven't beentainted by all this.
Well, where the hell does helive in the North pole?
Slaves can't fly, so they they.
They're stuck in their beliefsystem, whereas a kid I mean
they can believe anything in thefact that he's seeing people

(27:55):
outside the window.
And oh, that doesn't scare me.
If I saw, if I saw a guy incoattails and a top hat standing
outside my window right now, Iwould pee myself and scream Yep
that would that would freak meout, but a six year old?
it's just outside.
They're hanging out outside, nobig deal.

(28:16):
Abraham Lincoln, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 2 (28:19):
Yeah, that's just what we do at our house, I guess
.
But yeah, that's just how itwas.
It was weird, I don't know Justvery that's now.
We never had, I mean, thepsychic mediums.
They've come, they've come toour house probably about three

(28:39):
other times just for follow-ups,and every it's not there
anymore, it's so, it's totallygone.
Uh, mike does not go throughthat depression anymore.

Speaker 1 (28:53):
So that kind of.
So he kind of brightened upafter all of this.

Speaker 2 (28:57):
Yeah, wow.

Speaker 1 (28:59):
You think maybe it was like also the uh, that whole
it's not just me now.
Now I have to fight for myfamily, yeah absolutely yeah.
That kind of might've been thatadditional zap to whatever was
going on.
And how many years ago I mean, was was all of this.

Speaker 2 (29:20):
Let's see, tyler is 13 now, so seven years ago.

Speaker 1 (29:27):
So nothing, nothing significant in seven years.

Speaker 2 (29:31):
No, now they did tell us the ghost.
Ghost, the medium, said thatthe lady is still at the house
but she's just watching over.
And when I did more research onher, she was very prominent
lady here in carney.
Um, she was, and at the time wewere talking like early 1900s

(29:54):
now to like 1930s, she was veryprominent, very like high
society.
Let's just say she was abusiness owner and women back
then you know, you didn't dothat Women had a role, you know,
in the home she was, she wasmore the worker, so she was very

(30:14):
invested in our land, so, whichis probably why she was so
invested, and she was a mother, you know, mother, a grandmother,
all that.
So there was, there's that.
Um, the spirit down in myoldest son's room is still there
.
Um, more just a trickster andthe way they explained to me.

(30:38):
There's ghosts in everywhereyou go.

Speaker 1 (30:41):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (30:42):
Um, they don't bother the trickster ghost, we do.
I mean time and time we willhave stuff missing.
Is it me forgetting where I putit?
Possibly, yeah.
Is it that ghost, maybe maybe?
Um, is it me forgetting where Iput it?
Possibly, yeah, is it thatghost?
Maybe Maybe.

Speaker 1 (30:57):
They call them poltergeist or something that's
I always.

Speaker 2 (31:01):
Maybe I'm wrong, but I always thought the poltergeist
was more the evil stuff.

Speaker 1 (31:04):
Yeah, it might be.
Poltergeist are always likepranksters, from what I
understood of it.
But yeah, they do seem a littlebit more nefarious.

Speaker 2 (31:14):
Yes, this is just more.
This is just a teenage kid Likehey, I'm hiding your crap, you
know.
Ha ha, I got your keys.
They're in the fridge now Tryto find them, you know, type
thing.

Speaker 1 (31:26):
So what does Tyler think of all this?
Does he remember this?
Do you talk to him about it?

Speaker 2 (31:34):
does.
But he's also that angry 13year old bull boy.
I mean now that he's just ateen, you know, you just don't
really.
He doesn't want to go theredoes he see things anymore?
he, the last time he told me hesaw something was a couple years
ago and we we were in Tennesseefor a wrestling tournament.

(31:55):
And where were we at I can'tremember what part of Tennessee.
Again, we travel everywhere forwrestling, so it kind of runs
together.
I can't remember exactly wherewe were, but our hotel was like
at the bottom, like of a baseand you could see all the, all
the mountains and you know thetrees up there.

(32:18):
And he'd woken up and he waslooking out the window.
I'm like ty, ty, what are youdoing?
And he's like, do you see thesmoke?
And I'm like no, he's likethey're, they're fighting and
they're fighting out there.
And I was like just go to bed.
So then I remember I got on myphone and I have like this
walking history trail app thattells you like anything

(32:39):
significant that's happenednearby you and there had been a
civil war battle there.
Well, I mean tennessee, youknow it was high point of the
civil war too yeah we.
and then he did tell me oncewhen we were in Tennessee that
he saw cannons firing, but thatthat was the last time he's

(32:59):
really ever talked about it.

Speaker 1 (33:04):
Is that?
That's gotta be, in a way,relieving?

Speaker 2 (33:08):
Yes, it is Now.
I did do some type of.
It was a paranormal show thatwas coming out, I think, on the
Travel Channel or Discovery andit had Chip Coffey in it that he
was going to be like the leadpsychic in it, medium and they
had past kids that were mediums, were going to almost mentor

(33:34):
little kids of today mediumsokay and I told his story and he
actually they put him throughlike four different medium tests
that they wanted to do and hepassed every single one, every
single one.
He got everything right.

Speaker 1 (33:51):
Oh wow.
Yes, what kind of test werethese?

Speaker 2 (33:55):
It was.
They sent him a picture One wasa picture and wanted him to
tell a story, what he saw andhear.
And it was a picture of a barnand Tyler told the story about
how there was nails on theground.
And you look at the picture, all you see is like a barn.

(34:16):
You don't in the hay, you don'treally see the nails on the
ground unless you I mean, yougotta like seriously zoom in.
And he had a whole story thathe told about the nails, how
they were homemade nails, about.
The guy had made the nails thereand it started I mean, it was
like a whole story about it andhe told him that, sure enough he

(34:40):
was right.
How he picked up on that littletidbit nobody else would have
saw and we were gonna let him dothe show.
They came out, sign thepaperwork, but we were scared to
let him do it because we wereafraid that what if it opens the
door to something?

(35:00):
Will you help us close thatdoor?
And they said no, if somethinghappens and it gets attached to
him, then we were on our own.
It just it wasn't worth thatyeah, I wouldn't mess with it
and they're like oh well, youknow, we're still, we're gonna
pay him x amount of money.
I don't care what you're payingus.
No, you know you can pay myhouse off.

(35:21):
You're still gonna leave mewith a haunted house.
No, it's not worth it.

Speaker 1 (35:26):
No, I don't care well , and that says a lot too,
because you you've experienced.

Speaker 2 (35:32):
I mean, you didn't experience like an exorcist
level haunting or anything likethat, but just the amount you
experienced was enough that youcouldn't put a price on it no,
absolutely not and that thatsays that says loads about

(35:52):
credibility, because if it was amade-up story he would have
been like hell yeah, Give methat money, the money that they
were offering us, and then itwas a trip to even I think it
was, oh, it was Florida too Togo to Florida to retell the
story, for the showing of the,the premiere of it.

(36:15):
They were going to triple whenwe said no, they were going to
triple the payments andeverything.

Speaker 1 (36:22):
And.

Speaker 2 (36:22):
I'm like, trust me, I'd like money.
You know we could use it.
Could we use family vacations?
Been years that's a vacationhas been revolved around
wrestling but still not worth it.
No, no still not worth it, andso we never we backed out of the
deal, we backed out of it well, that's it.

Speaker 1 (36:45):
That's a hell of a story that really is, and I mean
thank you for sharing it.

Speaker 2 (36:53):
It's a lot.
It definitely is a lot.
Now we do go to church.
We're part of the CatholicChurch.
Our oldest goes to Catholichigh school.
The kids and others will feedinto the Catholic high school
too.
We have Christian symbols inevery room room.

(37:15):
I carry holy water with me.
Um, the rosary goes with meeverywhere I go now.
Um, yeah, we haven't hadchanged it.

Speaker 1 (37:25):
It that had to be such an incredible change it did
from being maybe, I don't knowapathetically spiritual.
Yes To actively spiritual, andit I mean understandably.
So it's kind of like a deathbedrepentance right.

Speaker 2 (37:47):
And I had a core group of friends that I hung out
with.
That was probably about a goodfive of us, and when this all
occurred was taking place, I hadto step back because I had to
fix my family and, um, to thisday I only speak to two of those
girls out of the five.
The others, they got toobutthurt and I, you know either,

(38:13):
didn't.
And I sat them down and likeafterwards I'm like, look, I'm
sorry, I had to step away, but Ihad to fix my fucking family,
my kid.
I didn't know what was going on.
Yes, I had a haunted house.
Yes, it was a demonic presencethere, but we're better now.
If you're a true friend, you'regoing to stick with me.
Well, you know, and they werejust very rude and that's when I

(38:36):
was like you know what?
You proved who you are and Godshowed me who you are.
You don't need to be in my lifenow.

Speaker 1 (38:44):
Well, and it's one of those things you can't
understand.
It's probably very hard tounderstand unless you experience
it.

Speaker 2 (38:52):
Absolutely.
And I told him you know what Ipray that you never go through
what went through.
But if you can't be a friend, atrue friend, and be there for
me now and not understand why Ihad to step away, then excuse me
, you could go fuck yourself.

Speaker 1 (39:08):
Yeah, I don't need you as a friend, what would you,
what would you give as advice?
Like kind of as a final thoughthere, what would you give as
advice to somebody who might begoing through what you went
through, what you and yourfamily went through, what's
something you could tell them?

Speaker 2 (39:31):
My first thing would be stop making up excuses of
what's truly going on.
When the dryer turned on forthe first time, when the radios
turned on, I should have actedthen, and I didn't.
If your kid is talking tosomething else, you may think

(39:54):
it's all cute.
Oh, they have a cute littlepretend friend.
No, you need to research thatshit.
There's plenty of sitesavailable.
The plat maps I looked up wereall free, and that's when I
figured out who lived on my land, and then from there, I started
my investigation process.
You can't give up.

Speaker 1 (40:15):
Yeah, you can't be inactive.
This can't be an inactive thing.

Speaker 2 (40:19):
No, because if you ignore it it gets stronger, if
you continue to give into thedepression and I think Mike was
at a very vulnerable state whichopened the door.
For that I don't blame him wasat a very vulnerable state which
opened the door.
For that I don't blame him, I'mnot saying that's his fault,
but because of his depression.
That's what happened.

(40:39):
It opened that door for it.
Now we learned that this entitywas probably attached to him
the whole time from this age,and it makes sense.
You know he broke his leg.
You know the next day he neverplayed sports again.
What could he have been had henot knocked that candle over?
But he did.

(41:02):
And he said he had to learn andlive with.
But that's his testimony.
Now, unfortunately, the friendshe was there with they're,
they've gone, gone, they're allpassed away.
He's the only one that survivedand it's alive to tell the
story so.

Speaker 1 (41:21):
So I mean, get your house right.
You know, yeah, get your houseright, get yourself right, yeah,
be active and listen.
Pay.

Speaker 2 (41:33):
Be aware of your surroundings.
If something's not adding up ordoesn't feel right, yeah, you
got to go with that.
Go with it.

Speaker 1 (41:41):
Trust your gut.
Trust your gut a little.

Speaker 2 (41:44):
Have some conviction, stand up and fight.
