had the distillery uh had a um had old fashions um
some blueberry lemonade or something with uh rum I think it was yeah the old

it was it was it wasn't that still at to par
no it's not it's not lawson's you know it's it's lawson's lawson's uh what is
it nested lawson's and that's it that's the thing no one else is

it works it works I've been having them here and I've been enjoying it

do they have the regular maraschino cherries but
the cocktail cherries we used to get the amarena
amarena cherries are good luck getting try total wine and
liquors it's like I don't know if you have it near you in queens but there's one in

apparently him and our other friend was supposed to
go meet up today to go ride but he texted me
uh the little guy texted me on my way home he's like oh
how he texts us to go uh ride and uh he don't answer his phone
he's like I don't know I don't know nothing about that said yeah I'm already

I'm outside his house and now he's not answering
like wow dude really okay besides I've been riding the bike I
take it out like I've been riding to work past couple days well
I've only been at three days Saturday Sunday I rode I'm gonna ride
in tonight because I don't have to parking at the job in

Manhattan is super super uh limited from 6 a.m
7 a.m to 6 p.m is commercially parking everywhere so like
you can't even park your car regularly unless you get out at 7 a.m
which I got an eight but on the bike I could fit in between cars and
at the right on the edge of the side so there is a couple spots on one of the

streets where it's parking you can't park starting at
8 a.m just like by one of the hospital a smaller hospital clinic
area they have next to the job so I'm just going to be
parking there with the bike because I'm not taking this train man I'm not about
that life yeah have you uh how have you
noticed a difference in driving and riding

in New York compared to Texas I noticed no traffic in Texas have you
have you got a custom to it yeah just like when I came to see you
for your uh barbecue yeah for all legal purposes I follow all
traffic laws which you should yes

officially unofficially because it doesn't exist
there that doesn't happen
I actually have to check the website to see if I got any tickets
which I shouldn't have because um you know why I shouldn't have fun
yeah it's been a couple times where I may or may not have been out there

okay and have to double check see if I did catch any
nice yeah those those red lights well those flashes will definitely get you
oh okay well you got the speed cameras out there too don't you
there's so many yeah and there's more than ever now
yes like yeah if you know like you got a tick coming out

and like how the fuck that gets this allegedly there was one speed limit is
25 and allegedly I was going almost triple that
allegedly when it flashed yeah allegedly there's no proof of that
though that's what I'm saying
so allegedly it wasn't me driving just a green street just driving by you know

so we got to see anything that uh get popped up by my uh
invisible friend you know in mexico okay right they love to speed in mexico

so gary how's uh uh being back home

so it's yeah I'll be honest with you um it's been an adjustment you know
just trying to like uh you know just fit in around here catch up on
things around the house I've been you know I did a few things but most of
most of it's just been like just relaxing just taking the time
you know for myself and uh the family you know

but that that's it hasn't been a whole lot you know I thought I was going to
have this whole honeydew list to take care of and I started it
got to a point with like okay I'm good and I'll just take my time with the rest
of stuff you know yeah other than just
just yeah same same here actually um I did I did do a lot um

what seems to be a lot uh but every time that I look
I feel like it's just the list is just still piled up right um when I'm in the
middle of something it's like oh I still have to do that and then I get
to that like I kind of like stop yeah oh man no
I it it gets me it's like distracting to see

the mess here and a mess there and then when I'm fixing here
I pass by it and it's like oh I forgot to do this
now do that I guess I track a lot so I've I've had to make a list and say
okay this is what I'm going to do one thing at a time so I put up the tv
on the wall um I started on the yard somewhat of it

um let's see I did the the smart switches
um I reset up the my computer desk um so now I have everything set up here
um well I sent you guys the picture and
allegedly um but yeah I mean it's coming it's coming along quite well

I still feel like I need to get a power washer
um I ordered a carburetor for the blower uh because for some reason it'll
kick on it'll stay on for maybe like a minute
and then once you let go of the throttle it'll die
and it won't come back up have you tried taking that carburetor off and

literally like cleaning the inside because I did that was actually I had the
same issue with my uh weed whacker and I did that and it
wound up having to I had to do it a lot you know okay
it would work for a few you know times I would cut and use it and then
I would have to do it again so I did eventually have to buy a new carburetor
but still yeah I just ordered a new carburetor

because I ordered a um a spark plug and it helped um
but you know it just yeah it still dies so I bought a new carburetor
um I bought a used you know so I think it's just time for a new one
or you could just stop trimming around the edges you know

leave the bush to grow as it should
have you uh tackled those big those big uh big bush
no I have not yet I have not what I have done is um took the overgrowth
from the trees in the back uh and then started burning it

so we have the little burn pile that you guys saw
um yeah I put I put bricks around it um and we just dedicated that's that space
for burning and we've been throwing just leaves branches all of that in there
and it clears it right up plus because it's so dry
recently it just catches fire so quick and within like a couple minutes it's

it's done so then we get another pile just throw it in
and the same thing once it catches fire it it like
catches fire right um then once it dies out and you know throw another pile
um because the the pile that I had in the back
just you know for everything um it's getting pretty big

so I think it's it's just adding to the clutteredness in the the back by the
trees you know burn it yeah is it all
rubbish I mean not I mean branches and things like that branches
leaves all of that just burn it burn the hole back down do a

controlled fire like they do don't stop there just but the whole
property that we have to worry about it again
the other day um on that same day that we were doing the uh
the control fire um the wind started picking up in afternoon
um and it got it got pretty bad to one point where

some of the ambers would like fly away and
it's been ambers yeah ambers amber amber it was multiples ambers
you know ambers not ambers right
so you know I had to stop because I was worried that it would

catch fire on the other side yeah so yeah definitely got to be careful
what about the chickens they're growing they're growing quite a
quite decent um next week they they should be
going outside to live permanently where do you have them now
they're still in in the house and they're in silas room

really okay yeah there's a heat lamp uh they have their their water their
feed there um well they're in a in a in a dog
uh great okay so all right you're trying to send some of those uh
chickens up here yeah actually when you guys come you

know you guys home with uh with some chickens

uh what haven't i been doing is a question uh
okay all right no just like martinus was saying like
I made a list of stuff to do and there's it seems like there's always so much to
do but my biggest hurdle that I wanted to do when I came back was
excuse me I cleaned out literally like the rest of mom's stuff because you know

it was put away because you know I couldn't leave my
sisters to do it while I was gone it was still so fresh so
we cleaned the rest of that out and like that's now officially everything is
gone you know um and besides that like I that was the only thing I actually
really stuck to I had a list of clean a lot though out I had like a
accumulated mail oh my gosh I gotta get through it so maybe I'll send it to you

gary because I know that's your uh
it's just so much to do hey you know go back to the gym because I know you've
been working out I see you looking good over there
thank you supposed to keep working out um haven't been doing that I spent a lot
of my time uh drinking cactus juice and

just not being home because you know I'm back in summer I love the summer I
went to the beach actually that was good uh
that it was it not the same as Florida beaches so right
oh no it's not that water was freaking ice cold
like two weeks after uh we was at the fourth of July

a week and we went there I think like uh so maybe three weeks and
end of July I went to the beach oh my gosh that water was so cold
oh boy yeah precisely I did
I did do some stuff around the house I my dog ate my

wire from my internet so I had to rerun that wire
uh don't ask me why he did it he's has like two brain cells so I think he hit
the wire and moved so he you know he smacked that and
moved again and he did it I think this will happen
not the brightest I reran that uh overall cleaning a lot of the house

just limits there are things that bothered me
yeah now I I bought a lot of the setup for us to come out podcast I bought my
mattress actress uh light and sand setup
and even though I bought all that I never actually got it set up
properly so like as we were saying hey let's get on let's do this now

I rushed I threw everything out of the way because
everything that I have to get done a lot of the paperwork is up and sitting
here on my desk and like oh wait I gotta go I threw it all the way
all quickly set everything up and that's it
um I started work again actually last week
okay what Thursday night and back to midnight and it's

it's it sucks yeah it's definitely the desert
yeah yeah I've never I've never liked
overnight I hate it
it works every night I do look forward to going back to
regular daytime but not on my job I don't think I

enjoy myself at the job if I was one day's time
okay plus the commute would be a lot a lot uh worse no
it depends like for me there's only one train by me
and it's the m train and on the weekends and holidays and even some during a week

it doesn't run like you'll be lucky to even get it from
I'm right by the last stop so like you'll be lucky to get it from there
overnight it's supposed to go until like when I first started the job
before we went to germs I would take the train here right to my job
no no stop zone nothing no problem nice we came back now it doesn't run that far
it stops like halfway in my hand but at least I'm in

my hat so then I have to take another train to get there
but if I pass a certain time it stops and working so I gotta take
one train to the next train to the next train and depending what happens with
the other train I may have to take walk from a grand central so it's it's a
whole mess so I hate dealing with the trains overnight
yeah during the daytime it's it runs all the time I don't have an issue it's just

the unlimited service but during the day I don't have full service
it's just yeah night yeah night is limited service hence motorcycle
yeah there you go definitely get you there quicker
well I think we definitely owe an apology for our long hiatus

um but we're back we're trying to build up a schedule
you know clearly this this does work even remote
you know we're here in the same space and we plan on getting this a little more
frequent but it's it's it's an adjusting

you know it's hard to get people's schedules
aligned you know everybody has their own thing going on
especially now that we're home yeah especially because of that
it's not it's not in a controlled environment you know
no not at all man yeah you know we do owe the peoples an apology

and on that note it's all garrison it's always so
on that note then on that note I really really sincerely apologize to everyone
that follows us it has been my fault I'm the one
that's been holding these guys back from doing everything so

okay of Florida I have to remember that then
yeah so I'm one hour behind no we don't have to remember he'll adjust to our
time there you go that's why I said he's outnumbered
10 a.m your time then that's when it clicked for you guys

I'm like wait it's like what the fuck I could've been 10 o'clock your time I'm
obviously seven o'clock now now for me yes
so uh you guys I know we haven't been transferred over
back to the uni yet are you um the plan is do you are you going to

stay that's not good okay I'm not using names and not using anything
just are you planning to stay upcoming activities that we may or may not get
drafted into oh my don't even don't even I already
that's what I didn't want to hear about but no no I already told
um someone that I I was in the middle of transferring so

uh either for admon or trail or oh that's a good way to put it yeah
they want us to do admon because they don't have anybody like that was our
responsibility right they have literally yeah nobody

the commander's description yes see and I did do some research and
it kind of leads to that you know that whole 90 day thing is going back to work
he has a billion job on the useras I think they
well that was 30 days to go back to work not 90 oh you can't stay out 90

but I think I think what happens is they just applied that to
when you come home from from a deployment or something
you know right but I don't know everything read the commander's
discretion so you know what this is what they need to run the
staff which sounds ridiculous you know but they're only taking
what I don't know people over the two what

I think when we came back they were asking people to get stuff done who
wants to go to the secret squirrel stuff and I the
list wasn't that long maybe 20 14 to 20 people I think it was
I don't know the exact number but if that's the case
we only look down 20 people why do they have no people to do people stuff

because those people are away it's just bad timing
but it's the amount of people I'm talking about yeah
if you're losing 20 people to so secret squirrels so
you still have more than a people who could do admonitory
you should yeah you should what yeah you know what that boy is down to

we'll be here for days hey when I when I went to the unit last week to go pick up
the computers and um somebody was spying
on me while I was there no names no names here

somebody knew that I was standing in the parking lot
I was drinking a red bull like looking around
somebody knew who I was this fucking Martinez like he's like oh I see you
what the fuck you see me I like looking around like are you here
so um but when I was there computers huh why were you going to get
computers oh I was picking up two two government

computers uh for school okay for me and uh
me and another soldier yeah yeah so so I got it I got a chance to
see some of the staff and the lady you met her I met the lady
yes she looks familiar but I okay and now I

I got a face of the name now and then I met one I saw one of the
officers um the sir oh no kind of about yay high a
little bit out in the sun uh too long

whoo yeah so they try to they try to ask me to recruit me back
to the other detachment right and I said hell no
no I don't want to go back I don't go back crossing over the bridge paying
tolls and then having to deal with possible headaches

that are you know no two hours to get there
yeah the three hours to get home that's crazy
yeah no no thank you well you know what they would put me in the
in the near you know it's like a little hotel that's over there
yeah that's that's what it does it sucks man I'm not I'd rather just go where we
usually go and that's it yeah it's a much better location

yeah I don't even know I kind of have an idea now of
the chain of command because the damn chain of command changes like twice
within a few weeks remember the people we met
or that came to meet us where we were see I wasn't there
remember I went to cali around that time

right well well well did the CSM come see you then
yeah okay because I didn't even know who to see
yeah and then whoever was his counterpart that's who I thought

on back to the unit martinez so yeah I had the beard got overcooked
and I didn't I didn't go there he didn't go there
I don't know how he saw me so how suspicious yeah it is very suspicious

and he still hasn't uh divulged that information I will not

he also got text messages for me saying uh to get out the gazebo
to get back to work yeah when I went to the yeah I know who it is

was gonna speak about something about being back home um but I forgot
but yeah it's been good it's been uh um I think a little bit of adjusting

fit yourself into everybody else's schedule now

and it's like oh man it just brings back those uh
just good times then you know I think the lens created
a benchmark for food drinks atmosphere that it's hard to to compete with
yeah replicate right yeah definitely the places I find over here

um just I don't know I I don't like you know the crowdedness every there's too
many people it's so loud um you know a live band I don't
even there's not much of that over here so um it's more like a dj or
right for the most part you know something playing in the speakers loud

it's just no it's it's definitely I can't I can't find the same thing over
here I thought can't yeah I found something similar but um
the outdoors isn't that great um they did have a person on a guitar
playing that night um they do have like you know people

coming uh changing out I think Friday Saturdays but again
the beer selection is not there um I don't think they even have food
um it's just you know it's a little but you know what not for nothing you're
out there in the freaking sticks friend it's really nice I mean it's it's pretty

have you have you found some like decent places to eat though I know you said
you're gonna go searching uh so far one place that um we had
we went to yesterday what we do have is outdoor activities so we went back to
the river that we we went to almost died in almost drowned
but this time I bought I bought tubes uh with the netting under it so you could

just throw yourself in you know relax and chill uh I got one that's a double
and then I got singles tie them all together um it's it's so much better
than than a canoe get paddles at least nope no paddles you just floated your
way down this dam that's it just just like when we went the group of kids that

was just like just yeah maybe almost fucking die this is true
but um you know and in the sections that the sections that I can see the floor
I'll get down and I'll pull the uh the uh what is it the tubes over yeah you
know and continue on uh they're pretty good it was it was fun that that time

was fun uh plus one it wasn't fun when we went no it was
definitely fun but it was a little bit scary
which made it interesting it made it totally interesting
as Gary's like you know what so far the two outdoor activities that
we've done I mean come on now we almost died

oh man yes like I think we need to practice things before we do anything
out the course well my defense I think is one so
that is yeah that practice uh yeah that was
that was when when you got out of the canoe
and you did not feel the bottom I heard oh

like like that's any panic that was like oh shit oh how deep is it over here
because it was deep I mean I had a lifejacket I wasn't
gonna die but yeah I didn't like that still you expect to feel the bottom and
you don't it's like oh no I knew I wasn't going to that's why I didn't want
to get out like it's just how steep it went it was like clay
so like you couldn't even get a foothold it's like the one side is sandy so you

could yeah grip it was just like slick clay my foot went
and like oh I don't got no grip pushed it off
came right down oh my god and then then I lived so
all right so we're gonna have to like any other outdoor activity we have to
like okay do a quick little uh run through
safety brief there you go yeah definitely a safety brief shit

for the record guys I also don't know how to climb rocks so
just keep that in mind I don't think none of us know how to climb rocks
so we can't do that again um no what can we do
let's go camping we'll probably fuck that up too
sorry there's a couple of campsites by me actually

so we can go camping maybe in October it's not a bad idea actually
oh well that's that's a guarantee you'll be camping in October
well we can't be in October all right so we might as well just go in
October then let's get s'mores
yeah let's bring uh let's bring other stuff along with those s'mores as well

there you go it's it's actually part of your uh packing list
it definitely is yeah the one we never get
everyone has has to bring one yeah yeah well usually uh what's the biggest
item that's on not on the packing list that is on the
packing list is my car so this is true yeah as long as we have

a that that item it's it is always I'm just it's just
still new to me because everywhere the units I've been
before like I literally had to jump on a bus
or you know they want you to yeah exactly meanwhile I see all these personal
they say no POVs meanwhile you see the whole damn freaking place over there the
whole command team takes them exactly it's just so

fucked up you know like when we go I mean doing advon and
other stuff it's a little bit understandable yeah
yeah you have no POVs but like I said the whole command team the whole
staff all the staff sections everybody's bringing and they don't do anything
right they just have their car I mean even if I'm not admon I mean we

do other stuff right yeah well you know what
which is why but see that's what makes it all
worthwhile you know absolutely but you know I mean I don't mind that shit
either because you know what even if I don't have my own car we get a gsa or
two right and then we uh put the camping out that
can't yeah I know but the camping out stuff I don't want

to be anywhere near let's go that building the flagpole you

obstacles obstacles with people with the guns you know
people running out there like john wick you know yeah
similar to that training ground that will be USPSA

you have five targets and they range from like five
yards or five meters to 15 meters I think it is
so once you hit the first one the time starts
and then when you hit the last target the time stops the stops well whoever

gets the shortest amount of time wins the challenge um first target or
first shot your first target that starts the
the timer so if you miss like three shots
initially it doesn't count you hit pretty much
okay so um oh yeah so is that the first target in the series or first target

your lane they set up the five targets um and then you know you whenever you're
ready you you start get the first one then
you go progressively second target third target
