Join Ken and Michelle Bass as they visit with Florina Ruvio co-chair of Idaho's Thriving Families Safer Children's Coalition. Florina also contracts with the Idaho Resiliency Project, Breaking Chains Academy of Development and Idahoans United for Women and Families. 

Learn more about the National Partnership that was established to support communities, developing approaches for community well-being that help families avoid child welfare system involvement.

In this episode you will learn about Family Resource Centers, and Community Schools  from across the State. There's currently 50!  Each one is different depending on the unique needs of their community. In addition, the program brings together people with lived experience. Florina shares her personal story of the impact of these programs. As Florina points out, "Everyone needs help sometimes"; this blended model of support is one way to bring community together during these times.
