Welcome back to all of our listeners! Here’s another fresh episode of The Right Angle! Today Dr Harry discusses veterans, the challenges they face during/after their service, & also what politicians should be doing to help. Why don’t all veterans have adequate support? There’s a long list of things vets SHOULD have access to. Healthcare, free. Education, free. Job training, anything they need… shouldn’t they get this for all their years of service? On any given night there are at least 100k homeless veterans across the U.S. 30% of vets have disabilities as a result of their service. There has been no proper care for #veterans and we have not rewarded them.. we do not have servicemen who are taken care of.. we have hardened men and women who have gone to hell and back… but are still standing outside, living on the streets, trying to survive.
