When today’s guest began her Jiu Jitsu career at the age of 18 she wasn’t just one of the few females at her gym, she was the only one.
Hannette Staack started training in Brazil over 20 years ago, when the sport was arguably more aggressive and physical, and certainly, male-dominated.
But her dedication and love for the sport quickly won over her male counterparts and Hannette began to excel.
Now one of the most respected and decorated Jiu Jitsu competitors, Hannette shares with RŌL Radio her journey, how to grow the female presence in Jiu Jitsu, and her dedication to changing lives through Jiu Jitsu.
Here is RŌL Radio with multi-time IBJJF and ADCC World Champion, and co-founder of Brazil 021 School of Jiu Jitsu, Hannette Staack.

The Ron Burgundy Podcast
Will Ferrell reprises his role as Ron Burgundy in his brand new Ron Burgundy Podcast! Each episode has a different theme in which Ron engages in conversation with another notable person on the topic at hand. In true Ron Burgundy fashion, these conversations have a tendency to go off the rails, and we find out things about people we never knew we wanted to know. In season 2, Ron considers a run for President, continues to perform music, and blacks out at work. In Season 1, Ron addressed important issues like bullying and the mind-expanding nature of meditation, and attempted to ultimately answer the question “seriously, what is a podcast?”
