Suicide Squad (2016), directed by David Ayer, follows a secret government agency that recruits imprisoned supervillains for dangerous black ops missions in exchange for reduced sentences. The team, including Deadshot (Will Smith), Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie), and Captain Boomerang (Jai Courtney), must stop a powerful, supernatural threat unleashed by the Enchantress (Cara Delevingne). The film also stars Jared Leto as the Joker and Viola Davis as Amanda Waller.
