Woman Podcast when you jointhe Patron community over on patreon

(00:25):
you can relate episode. Heyfolks, I'm Caitlin Dubin. You may
(00:49):
know me from such podcasts asthe Real Woman Podcast, which you
happen to be a proud member ofthe Patreon community, which is why
you are hearing me throughyour earbuds right now. I'm coming
to you from behind the mic inthe Rural Woman Podcast studio for
this exclusive patron onlypodcast to share with you a bit more
(01:11):
about me, my personal life, our farm, my family, the wins, the
struggles. Really just alittle bit of everything. I wanted
to create a space to share mystory with a more intimate audience,
to build a strongerconnection. My goal here is to share
about the things I've learned, the good, the bad, and everything
(01:34):
in between. And maybe, justmaybe, you can relate.
(02:03):
You know, learning to be okaywith those changes and being present
in these moments is helpful. And it's something that I have to
remind myself that this issomething that I have to do now.
This isn't going to beforever. This isn't going to be long
term. But what can I do now tosupport myself, to support my family,
(02:25):
to support, you know, mybusiness, all of these things. And
it's just looking at it, Iguess, through that softer lens of
change is hard. And there aregoing to be seasons and times where,
you know there's going to beso much change thrown at you that
you don't know left from rightor up and down. But those seasons
(02:47):
do slow down. It's not acookie cutter life. Not every farm,
not every ranch, not everyhomestead, not every season is going
(03:12):
to be the same. But embracingthose changes and knowing that what
happens on the other side, you're going to be okay. And something
that I learned in therapy areally long time ago is truly we
can get through anythingbecause I'm pretty sure we've been
through hard before. Andthat's a motto that I keep going
(03:35):
back to and thinking about. Ihaven't been back there since I used
to sit there on my lunch breakand google what do women on farms
(03:56):
do? And to sit there now andto know that I might not have it
all figured out, but I have apretty good understanding and a pretty
huge respect for the women whohave shown me that we can be whoever
we want to be has truly been areally cool full circle moment for
(04:19):
me.
Foreign.
