Description or scanning that qrcode on this screen.
Okay, so there's mixed reportscoming in that the shooter used
a nine millimeter.
We don't know the gun.
They are saying it's a female.
Let's watch this abc newsreport and see what they have to

(04:01):
say turn out of breaking news.

Speaker 4 (04:03):
in mad Wisconsin police they're holding a press
conference to provide a newinformation on that deadly
school shooting in Madison aftertwo people including the
shooter are reported dead as ofnow, at least six.

Speaker 3 (04:15):
So originally it was reported as like six people dead
, four people dead, five people.
So two people a teacher and astudent and the shooter are dead
.
Okay, so there are someinjuries.
We don't know exactly how manyat the moment, at the time we're
talking about this, but twopeople, not five or six or
whatever they were reporting, atleast not now.

(04:36):
Some people may die frominjuries.
We don't know what the injuriesare.
Could be somebody, you know, because they will report it as
an injury from the shooting.
If somebody hears gunshots, runs away and rolls their ankles
and then an ambulance checksthem out before they go home,
they will count that as aninjury in the news.
I've seen it when I was apolice officer.
I saw it when I was an EMT.

(04:57):
I have seen them do crap.
That's what they'll do.
But an injury is also, you know, somebody got shot and they're
losing their arm.
So there's no differencebetween rolling an ankle and
losing your arm.
When they say injuries, peopleare reported to be injured as
well.

Speaker 4 (05:13):
Let's listen to information that we're not going
to release because it's stillan ever evolving situation.
You're here from some of ourrepresentatives, from our city
and from our county, and behindme are a lot of people who came
together today to make sure thatthe day ended well and that

(05:35):
everyone else was safe.
So, with that being said, I'llgo ahead and start my so this is
the sheriff um of madisonwisconsin today truly is a sad
day for madison and for ourcountry.
it is a day that I believe willlive in our collective minds for

(05:58):
a very, very long time.
Here are the details today at10 57 am, our team was called to
the Abundant Life ChristianSchool in reference to an active
shooter.
We know that three people aredead, including the suspect
shooter.
We know that the suspectshooter was a teenage student

(06:19):
who attended the school Studentwho attended the school.
At this time we're notreleasing the age or gender of
the student or any otheridentifying remarks about the
student.

Speaker 3 (06:31):
Now this is what in the beginning.
This is what is creating all ofthis confusion.
Okay, they're refusing to tellyou the gender, which strange.
I mean that's strange.
They're not releasing the age.

(06:53):
I I kind of get um, and youknow for him he shouldn't say
that Number one.
You should say we're notreleasing any information on the
suspect at this time.
We're still trying to identifyif it is the suspect, if there
are any other people involved.
Our investigation is ongoing, like that's all you have to say.

(07:13):
But to say specifically we arenot telling you the gender or
the age.
That is weird, man, and that'swhat has people just
automatically jumping to theconclusion.
Well, if you're not going tosay it, then obviously it's a
trans person, right?
We don't know that for sure yet, but it could be.

(07:35):
Let's hear what else he has tosay.

Speaker 4 (07:38):
Two other people have died.
That died were a teacher and ateenage student.
Six other people were injured.
Two students are now incritical condition in the
hospital and these injuries areconsidered life-threatening
injuries.
Four students are also at otherarea hospitals with

(08:05):
non-life-threatening injuries, but these are just the physical
injuries that we know about.
We know that this was themiddle of the day of a school
day, and so there will be otherinjuries that we'll have to face
for a very, very long timeschool day, and so there will be
other injuries that we'll haveto face for a very, very long
time, and we're going to doeverything we can as a community

(08:27):
to heal those injuries as well.
Many of you have asked me aboutthe why of this.
Why did this happen?
What do we know?
What was the motivation?
I do not know, but I will tellyou this.
Our detectives are working hardin the investigative process to
find out as many answers as wecan so that we can further
prevent these things fromhappening, not only in this

(08:48):
community, but in othercommunities around our country.
I think we can all agree thatenough is enough and we have to
come together to do everythingwe can to support our students,
to prevent press conferenceslike these from happening again

(09:08):
and again and again.
The school building itself isclear.
We have cleared the school.
There's no other threats ordanger to the community.
We're in the process now ofwhat we call reunification, and
what that simply means is makingsure that every student that
was in the school is present andaccounted for and returned to

(09:31):
their loved ones.
This usually takes a while, butwe have practiced,
unfortunately, and practiced andpracticed, and that's why we're
able to reunify students withtheir parents within hours of a
school shooting.
The reunification is takingplace at the Dean Clinic on

(09:52):
Stoughton Road and I certainlythank them for their help.
Again, we need our public tofind an alternate route.
If that is your normal way homeas we get closer to the end of
the day, please be patient orfind another route home.
We're currently processing thescene, we're interviewing those

(10:12):
who may have been witnesses andwe're obtaining search warrants
to get additional information.
And lastly, I want to just saythank you to everyone who's
standing behind me, theorganizations and agencies that
they represent, the men andwomen of the Madison Police
Department and Dane CountySheriff's Office who selflessly

(10:35):
ran into a building not knowingwhat they were going to
encounter.

Speaker 3 (10:44):
Well, that's what they're supposed to do.
That's literally your job.
I don't know why dude on theright there is wearing like
pristine white gloves while he'sholding his ar-15 I don't
understand that at all.
I've never seen that before andwhy his magazine is so small.
It's a 10 round mag.
His magazine is so small, it'sa 10 round mag.
Uh, that's a good question, butno.

(11:04):
So when I was a police officer, you go to the gunfire like that
is it what happened in columbine, and so is they would.
What they would do is if theyhad like a hostage situation or
like a school shooting whichthey never really had before,
that was really like the firstone Um, they would surround the
building so that people couldn'tget out and they would call and
wait for the SWAT team.

(11:25):
Well, while they were waitingfor the SWAT team in Columbine,
these two students were inside, just shooting everybody and
killing everybody.
So what the police policybecame was you, if you're the
first on scene, you enter thebuilding, you grab your rifle,
you run straight to the gunfireand you neutralize the suspect.

(11:46):
That's what you do.
That's what we saw with AudreyHale.
We saw the body cam footage ofthe police officer gaining
access to the footage.
We went over it on the show.
We watched the footage andbroke it down.
So that's yes, that's whatyou're supposed to do.
You run to the footage.
We went over it on the show, wewatched the footage and broke
it down.
So that's yes, that's whatyou're supposed to do.
You run to the gunfire.
What those officers did at thatother school shooting, where

(12:08):
they just stood in the hallwayand didn't go after it, was
completely against the protocolof most police departments.
Again, I'm not a member of thatdepartment, they're all
different.
I don't know what that one was,but it was completely wrong.

Speaker 4 (12:23):
Let's listen to what else he has to say.
Many of you know this about me,but I started my professional
career, if you will, as a publicschool teacher back in 1997.
And I taught public school forfour years.
It was one of the greatest joysof my life before becoming a
police officer, and I can tellyou what a special place our
schools are.

(12:43):
With that being said, we owe itto our community to do
everything possible to ensurethat it's not only a special
place but a safe place as well, and we're going to continue to
do that.
So we ask for your patience asinformation is coming in.
We will do the best that we canto bring you accurate and

(13:05):
timely information, but we wantto make sure that our public
knows that we're workingextremely hard on this
particular incident.
There are a lot of peopleinvolved and certainly we're
going to come together as acommunity.
I'd like to bring up at thistime Police Fire Chief Chris
Carver.

Speaker 5 (13:28):
Thank you, chief Barnes.
Before I start, the only thingI can say is this is not a place
that any fire chief or any oneof us would ever want to be, and
I can't believe I'm standinghere today talking about this
incident.
The fire department is a partof this community, much like all
the folks standing up here withme today.

(13:49):
Our hearts are with and ourarms are around everybody
impacted today and everybodywithin our community With that.
I won't repeat the detailsshared by Chief Barnes, but I
will share with you the firedepartment activity for today.
Much like Chief Barnesmentioned at 1057, we were also
dispatched with Engine 5 andMedic 5 to the same location

(14:10):
throughout the course of the Allright, the fire chief is just.

Speaker 3 (14:15):
He's the fire chief.
We heard from sheriff uh, weknow uh kind of the some things
of what happened, but not allthings.
Not all things.
They are saying that theshooter is a female, which is
interesting.
That's not typical of a schoolshooter.

(14:37):
School shooters are typicallymales, white males.

Speaker 1 (14:41):
Let's watch this Special report Good afternoon
I'm with Johnson in New York.
We're coming on the air withbreaking news of a school
shooting in Madison, Wisconsin.
There are reports of multipleinjuries at Abundant Life
Christian School Firstresponders you can see they're
racing to the scene the schooljust a short time ago.
Please say the shooter is downand we've just confirmed through

(15:02):
our Aaron Katursky that theshooter is dead.
Police are calling it a veryactive scene right now.
The school teaches studentsfrom kindergarten through 12th
grade.
The police chief is walking upto the podium right now to brief
the media, so let's go aheadand listen to what he has to say
All right.

Speaker 3 (15:17):
So what we just watched before was him at the
press conference.
Now this is him like in themidst of it, like in the
beginning.
So let's see what he had to sayat first.

Speaker 4 (15:27):
The media is to our community.
But the truth is, today is asad, sad day, not only for
Madison but for our entirecountry, where yet another
police chief is doing a pressconference to speak about
violence in our community, specifically in one of the
places that's most sacred to meas someone who loves education

(15:48):
and to someone who has childrenthat are in schools.
So I'm going to tell you what Iknow.
I'll answer any questions thatI can.
There'll be a secondarybriefing that our PIO will let
you know about.
Okay, today, around 10.57 am,our officers were responding to

(16:15):
a call of an active shooter atthe Abundant Life Christian
School here in Madison.
When officers arrived, theyfound multiple victims suffering
from gunshot wounds.
We train on this almostquarterly.
The last time we trained onthis as commanders was
approximately two weeks ago.
The protocols are simple Stopthe killing, stop the dying,

(16:36):
find out who's doing this.
The officers did that.
They did that adamantly.
We had officers from around thecounty and around the state that
came in support of thisparticular incident.
Officers located a juvenile whothey believe was responsible
for this decease in the building, for this deceased in the

(16:57):
building.
Additionally, the officersbegan administering life-saving
efforts to anyone who waswounded and making sure that
those persons were transported.
What we know is that a total ofabout seven persons were
transported from the scene toarea hospitals for treatment.
We know that at least threepeople have lost their lives,

(17:18):
including the juvenile person.
I don't have any otherinformation about those persons
who have lost their lives andI'm not going to release that
until we have, of course, spokenwith family members and
ensuring that they are fullyaware of this tragic, tragic
scene that occurred today.
I want to thank all of the lawenforcement partners and

(17:41):
community members that came outto help our friends at the ATF.
I've gotten calls from myfriends at the FBI.

Speaker 3 (17:49):
The ATF.
That's pretty strange, okay, solet's let's break this down
just a little bit here.
Madison is number one attrending on twitter.
Let's go over to our twitterfeed and let's see what is going

(18:12):
on here.
Open this up, zoom in.
I'll zoom in just a tad therefor you all.
Right, here's the first one isfrom two hours ago paul a sapula
, madison.
Wisconsin police say thatthey're withholding the identity
of the shooter since it'ssomeone's child.

(18:34):
Not because the identitydoesn't fit the leftist
narrative.
Sure, whatever you say that, see, that's the but, that's,
that's.
That's what happens when you dothat.
Just say, listen, we're get,we're get, we.
We have somebody who we believemay be the shooter and we have

(18:56):
not identified that person asthe shooter.
Our investigation is ongoing.
Um, we don't know if there'sanybody else corroborating.
We're still investigating it.
We'll release that informationlater.
Get your ducks in a row.
Get your ducks in a row, figureout, get all the information.
Because the last thing you wantto do is go out there and say
something wild and then have topull it back, because you can't

(19:17):
pull it back Once you say it.
You can't go back to themicrophone and say, hey, I made
a mistake.
That's not gonna fly.
So listen, we're still.
It's an ongoing like this justhappened.
I have seven, seven people shot, seven kids, kids, children are
shot.
Okay, the person we believe isthe suspect is down.
We're still investigating thesituation.
We will let you know whenthere's any, when updates are

(19:38):
appropriate.
Here's a another video.
I think this is the same videofrom before.

Speaker 4 (19:43):
Let's check it out the shooter and what their
motivations were, or if you madecontact with their family
members.
Anything updated on that?
Sure, there's nothing new thatI can tell you about the shooter
at this time, again asdifferent.

Speaker 3 (20:00):
Yeah, there's nothing new.
You can talk about the shooter.
Okay.
So this is the photo of the.
This is from NWokeness.
They're typically a pretty goodsource.
There's no community note onthis.
So it says we would never beknown what kind of meds or
hormones the killer in Madisonwas given, just like Nashville,

(20:23):
which is Audrey Hale, the one onthe right.
This is the shooter, allegedlyokay, um, the, the, the.
This is not the shooter.
This is.
There's pictures going aroundthat are the shooter, that are
not the shooter.
You got to break this stuffdown, okay, and you got to
really look into it, because thecommunity notes are phenomenal.

(20:49):
They're great, but noteverything has a community note
right.
So until somebody who'sauthorized to put a community
note on it looks at it anddecides to correct the
information you're not going toknow.
So you're free to post whateveryou want on Twitter, but if you
guys are consuming it, you needto verify what it is.

(21:11):
Here is a letter from thestatement from Joe Biden on the
shooting at Abundant LifeChristian School in Wisconsin.
Today, families in Madison, wisconsin, are grieving the loss
of those who were killed andwounded at Abundant Life
Christian School.
It's shocking andunconscionable.
Yes, I agree.

(21:31):
We need Congress to act now.
From Newtown to Uvalade, parkland to Madison, to so many
other shootings that don'treceive attention, it is
unacceptable that we are unableto protect our children from the
scourge of gun violence.
Okay, we cannot continue toaccept it as normal.

(21:55):
Every child deserves to feelsafe in their classrooms.
Students across our countryshould be learning to read and
write and not having to learn toduck and cover.
Yeah, everybody agrees withthat, but that's not like.
Your approach does not work.
It has proven not to work.
Jill and I are praying for allthe victims today, including the

(22:20):
teacher and teenage student whowere killed and those who
sustained injuries.
We are grateful for the firstresponders who quickly arrived
on scene and the FBI supportinglocal law enforcement efforts.
At my direction, my team hasreached out to local officials
to offer further support asneeded.
My administration has takenaggressive actions to combat the

(22:41):
gun violence epidemic.
We passed the most significantgun safety legislation in nearly
30 years.
I have taken more executiveaction to reduce gun violence
than any other president inhistory and I created the first
ever white house office of gunviolence prevention.
Just a waste of time,considering.
Gun violence is everywhere, butmore is needed.

(23:06):
Congress must pass common sense, gun safety laws, universal
background check universalbackground checks already exist.
A national red flag law nope.
A ban on assault weapons getthe hell out of here.
And high capacity magazines.
We can never accept senselessviolence that traumatized
children, their families and andtears entire communities apart.

(23:27):
Yes, correct, nobody'saccepting this.
Like there's not.
Like people out there like, ohmy god, it's just the.
The left approach is completelyirrational, completely
irrational.
Um, here is another tweet FromBowtied Ranger.

(23:53):
If the Madison Wisconsin shooterwas a white, straight male,
that information would have beenbroadcast immediately.
Maybe, possibly Could be.
The shooter has been identifiedas Samantha Hyde.
Okay, so this is what I'msaying.
It's not.
It's so.
This is being community noted.
We looked at the communitynotes American, she's a comedian

(24:15):
, samantha Hyde.
That's, that's not her.
I don't know if that picture'sher.
That's what they're saying.
The picture is.
We don't know.
It takes time for these to comeout.
By tomorrow, we will knoweverything about the shooting in
Madison Wisconsin.
Meanwhile, we know nothingabout Thomas Kirk, five months
and one week later that's aninteresting point here Shooting

(24:37):
at a Christian school in MadisonWisconsin.
We have mental health crisis inthis country.
Yes, we do, we do.
We have a mental health crisisin our country and part of the
main problem is is that childrenare not disciplined like they
used to be, so they put them onAdderall or Ritalin or all these
medications, or they put themon antidepressants or they put

(25:01):
them on hormone blockers forsome of them not all of them and
these medicines are not healthy.
All right.
So this is from Remarks.
So they have a gold check, which means that they're a news
organization.
It's very expensive, for thatSchool shooter, madison,

(25:23):
wisconsin, was a teenagetransgender student.
Breaking news and thenCommunity Notes says that this
is a baseless claim.
So this is from Lives of TikTok.
I love Lives of TikTok.
The Madison school shootercomplained about the patriarchy
and wrote that every single malemust be wiped out, from babies

(25:44):
to the elderly.
Only then will women be free tocreate a new world.
So, interestingly enough, thisis not community noted.
It has 101 views, 101 000 views.
This is allegedly a post fromthe shooter, so this I guess her
username is brained out.

(26:04):
Women are the only hope for thiswretched world, but even women
have been brainwashed by Moysfor too long.
They've internalized thepatriarchy and turned on each
other, always begging for maleapproval and validation.
It's disgusting.
I realize the truth.
Men are irredeemable.
Red Femme Hitler was a effingvindicator.

(26:29):
Now they can't be reformed orredeemed.
They're effing scorched uponthe earth.
She's talking about men.
The only solution is to totallyexterminate them.
And how would humans exist?
And every Freud who worshipsthese effing parasites, every

(26:49):
single male must be wiped out, from babies to elderly.
Only then can women be free tocreate a new world.
I'll be a pioneer.
I'll be the first to take thefirst step.
I don't care if they're fathers, brothers, husbands, sons,
teachers and especially N-wordsor politicians.
I've been craving to kill themall.

(27:11):
This is my mission.
Only when their parasiticsludge has been expunged from
this earth is when the worldwill be clean and women can
start over.
It's the only way.
In approximately 10 minutes, Ishould be dead.
It's strange, but it feels good.
Okay, this is posted, this.
Okay, all of this is allegedright.

(27:32):
This is allegedly posted todayby the shooter.
We will have more information.
We will cover this.
The identity of the shooter isgoing to be.
I'm sure we will find out.
Maybe not, we have no idea.
We'll find out.
It took forever for the AudreyHale to be released that she was

(28:04):
a student on some sort ofallegedly on some sort of
hormone medication and we'regoing to.
Things take time to come out,so this is another list of
TikTok.
This is the local MadisonWisconsin Sheriff, an old video
they posted on gun control.
Let's hear what he had to say.

Speaker 4 (28:21):
We have a lot of things that are legal, but is it
the right thing to do?
We have to rise above that, andsometimes it requires an
evolution of our thinking.
What was written in, you know,1789 may not be appropriate for
2022, unless we're okay withkids being killed.

Speaker 3 (28:42):
You're referencing the.

Speaker 5 (28:43):
Second Amendment.

Speaker 3 (28:44):
Yes, I am am.

Speaker 4 (28:45):
We have a lot of hold on you're referencing the
second amendment?

Speaker 3 (28:51):
yes, I am, we have a so he believes that the second
amendment should be changed, then you don't understand the
principle of it or the the waythat it is.
If guns people yep, yep, yep.
Guns kill people.
