It's been a minute since we'vebeen in the commander's chair

There's a lot to talk abouttoday, ladies and gentlemen,
from politics to the decay ofthe moral fabric of America, to
the enemy getting a grip on thisnation and basically lying to
people and everybody walkingaround in the average society,
thinking it's okay because we'vegot nice cars, fancy houses and

everything else and ourrefrigerators are full.
And I just want to get to thebottom of this.
And I want to get to Romans,because we're going to have a
minor interlude today, basically, and take a diversion from
Sodom and Gomorrah, our lastepisode, and we're going to get
into the meat and potatoes ofwhat's really going on.
Everybody's panicking,Everybody's really upset,

concerned, angry, over what'shappening in the Middle East,
what's happening in Afghanistan.
The Taliban and people are justsuper upset that we're pulling
out.
People love Biden.
They love Trump.
They want Trump back.
What is going on, ladies andgentlemen?

Well, I would like to contestand come at it from a different
viewpoint and a different angle.
We are not going to get ouranswer in man.
We are not going to get ananswer because man is fallible.
We're not going to get ananswer from Donald Trump and we
are not going to get our answerfrom Joe Biden.

I would contend that thissociety has left God From so
many people getting mad becausethey fight over the Ten
Commandments not being displayedin courthouses.
I think people and individualsneed to display the Ten
Commandments in their housebefore we start trying to storm

court buildings.
And one of my professors saidit back in seminary the best we
need to start living by the 10commandments before we start
trying to push the 10commandments on everybody else.
And I agree with that statementmy professor made back in
seminary, Because, I look around, the majority of people cannot

even recite the Ten Commandments.
So God has become a talkingpiece, a paperweight, something
to do.
Church has become a rock concertand the church and the word is
not the focus of attention.
It's become the stage in the21st century of America, and

I've heard it repeatedly said Ilike going to church because the
best part is the worship.
Well, ladies and gentlemen,what about the word of God?
Not the music, but the word ofGod, and I understand that music
is important, but we havewhat's called religious
consumerism in this countrynowadays, ladies and gentlemen,

Biblical literacy is at anall-time high.
Families are falling apart, thedivorce rate is high,
Infidelity and homosexuality isrunning rampant in our churches
and we wonder why we have aproblem.
I would contend that it's not apolitical issue.

I would contend that it's notsome type of academic issue.
I would contend that peoplearen't waking up with the joy of
the gospel in their heart, thatthey don't have a desire to
worship the creator, that that'snot their first priority.
I was talking to a buddy ofmine before we get into

soundbite this clip here thatwe're going to play, and a
couple of my friends got reallyconvicted because I asked them
and I'm starting to look aroundand ask multiple people when you
wake up in the morning, what isyour first priority?
Is it Jesus or is it somethingelse?
Do you get more joy out of apaycheck, a promotion, dating

somebody that's not a Christian,having sexual relations to
somebody.
You're not married toslandering somebody, a new fancy
car, a new pair of shoes, a newpiece of jewelry, more than you
become excited about?
About the Lord Jesus Christ andhis gift of salvation and

sharing it.
Ladies and gentlemen, here onthe Saints Overcome ministry,
we're not going to play gamesanymore.
We're going to get right to theroot of it.
We're going to take the ax tothe root, we're going to go for
it and we just really don't careif the gospel offends because
it's supposed to offend.
We're not supposed to besleeping saints.
We're supposed to be saintsthat are flourishing in our

Lord's name, spreading thegospel and living the life and
bearing witness in will, thoughtand deed, ladies and gentlemen.
So, ladies and gentlemen, areyou ready?

so bad news for joe biden tonight.
You may remember that biden wasa big backer of the violence
against women act.
Biden told us he was doing thisto protect women, but now we
learn that it's an act ofhostility against women to
acknowledge that women exist.
It's deep sexism.
The word women is itself anoffense against women, assuming
women is an actual category.

We just learned that over theweekend, democrats voted to ban
gendered language in House rules, and that means no more terms
like father or mother, just incase you're wondering where they
stand.
On the family, that also meansterms like women and men are out

That's where they are.
On biology, and for goodmeasure.
Brother and sister and firstcousin are also banned.

On Sunday, democrats celebratedthe move using the handful of
words they have left us in theEnglish language.
Using the handful of words theyhave left us in the English
language.

I think that the rules should reflect our values
as an institution that is themost inclusive as possible.
That reflects the gorgeousmosaic in every possible way of
the American people.

It's inclusive and we're going to show you that by
excluding entire words, in factancient categories of the human
experience, from our language.
By excluding, we will includegot.
That that's the gorgeous mosaicthey described.
Of course, that mosaic does notinclude nancy pelosi's own
twitter bio, in which shedescribes herself as quote a

mother, grandmother and darkchocolate connoisseur.

Hard to imagine a weirder setof words strung together than
those all in one place.
But what's interesting is thatalmost everybody now sitting in

the House of Representatives isviolating these new rules, and
no one more flagrantly than amember of Congress and part-time
preacher called Emanuel Cleaver.
He did it just yesterday whenhe led the House in prayer Watch

We ask it in the name of themonotheistic God Brahma and God,
known by many names, by manydifferent faiths, a man and a
woman.

How does this empower womenexactly?
That's a question that tulsigabbard, who is a former
congresswoman from hawaii, ademocrat, has been pondering.
She introduced a bill last yearto stop biological males from

spitting women's sports.
That bill is expected to beintroduced later this month.
And we said former, we didn'tmean it, because until january
20th she still serves and we'rethankful for that.
Congressman, thanks for joiningus tonight.
So how does it empower women toban the acknowledgement that
women exist?

It absolutely does the very opposite of that and
it's the height of hypocrisy forpeople who claim to be the
champions of rights for women todeny the very biological
existence of women and thisrecent rule change that the
House just actually voted andpassed on today that you were

talking about removingreferences to, you know, mothers
and fathers, brothers andsisters, sons and daughters from
congressional rules andadministration.
It's mind blowing because itshows just how out of touch with
reality and the struggles ofeveryday Americans people in
Congress are, but also it showsthat you know their first act as

this new Congress could havebeen to make sure that elderly
Americans are able to get theCOVID vaccine now, alongside
frontline health care workers,elderly Americans who have the
highest mortality rates fromthis virus.
But instead of doing somethingthat could actually help save
people's lives, they're choosinginstead to say well, you can't
say mother or father in any ofthis congressional language.

It's confusing too, because the very people who
claim to celebrate diversity,differences and differences are
what make the world interestingand worth living in, in my
opinion, are the same onestrying to impose by force this
creepy corporate sameness wherewe're all sort of widgets in a
bin waiting for assembly Like.
Do they really think therearen't differences between the
sexes?
Honestly sincere question.

I don't know how to answer or explain what they
think, and this is whyCongressman Mark Wayne Mullen
and I we introduced mylegislation the Protect Women's
Sports Act that you brieflymentioned out of a recognition
that this legislation isactually necessary.
When you look at why Title IXwas created, it was created out

of this recognition that thereis a biological distinction
between men and women and boysand girls, and it recognized
that, because of that, thereneeds to be a level playing
field for girls and women to beable to compete and play in
sports.
Now, now, the reason why ourbill is necessary to strengthen
and clarify and uphold titlenine is is because of the things

that you're talking about,because there are people who are
trying to undermine the veryreason why title nine was put in
place by denying my existence,denying the the existence of
biological women.
It defies common sense, itdefies basic, established
science.
It just doesn't make any sense.

The sexes have a distinction.

We're on the attack.

So what does this have to dowith the United States of
America?
Like I said, I would contendwe're not a nation under God.

We're not a theocratic system.
We're not a theocracy.

God has pretty much becomeirrelevant in this country, in
the sense that he's aconversational piece, because
there's not a whole lot ofliving the gospel that I'm
seeing going around in thiscountry.
Ladies and gentlemen, we need tofight.
We need to fight for truth andwe need to start in our own home
before we start trying to Bible, beat people and jam the gospel

down their mouth.
We need to start in us.
We need to be regenerated,saved, redeemed by the blood of
the Creator.
So we're going to start atRomans 118 to 32.
We're going to explain this.
We're going to explain God'swrath against sinful humanity
and I'm going to contest thenotion that we're this so-called

great country all under God.
Now let me preface this.
I'm talking spiritually.
We are a great country comparedto a lot of countries.
Totalitarianism, you know, thedestruction of communism.
We still have our freedoms, butfor how long?
Because every nation's downfallis the attack of the sexes on
(14:45):
man and woman, the moral decline, because they're so busy on
trying to fight for what theenemy wants.
That's when the enemy sneaks inthe back door, ladies and
gentlemen, and he takes thecountry down.
Read about Rome, the Greeks,their sexual behavior, their
(15:06):
sexual acts, their lewdness,their debauchery, the emperors,
the kings, the people in theColosseum, raving and ranting.
They wanted more blood.
We've had more deaths in thiscountry, according to abortion
(15:27):
statistics, than every casualtyof war in the world, ladies and
gentlemen.
And the unborn cry out to theheavens.
And we don't think wrath iscoming to this country.
Are we so arrogant that we haveLittle boys say that they're
girls and politicians, andparents coddle that, nurture it

and tell them it's OK.
And we don't think wrath iscoming to this country.
In our churches we won't preachabout repentance and sin and
hell and we don't think wrath isnot coming to this country.
We've made Jesus Christ not thelion, but we've kept him as the
little lamb and we'veencouraged care-bear

Christianity and we've taken thepower, the judgment and wrath
away from him because we don'twant to offend churchgoers.
And wrath is not coming to thiscountry, ladies and gentlemen.
We claim Christianity andthere's not a lot of joy in
Christ and we get excited overmoney more than the gospel.
(16:35):
And wrath is not coming to thiscountry.
I would contend that I pray thatif you're listening to this
broadcast, the time is coming,that Christ's return is imminent
and I don't have a date andtime because Christ even said,
not even me, not even I, but theFather knows, but it will
(17:06):
happen one day and he will comein the second coming and he will
display his power and glory andand in wrath.
So I would contend, as aChristian living in America
don't be comfortable, becausewhen you're comfortable you're
in the most dangerous spot youcan be at, because the enemy
will pick you off.
Let's continue, and I willcontend against the notion that
God has a covering on Americaand we're all somehow just okay
(17:30):
because we're so arrogant,because we are America.
Let's look at the moral decline, ladies and gentlemen.
Paul goes to extreme lengthsand detail to convey this
message Romans 1, 18, 32.
Are you ready?
Well, let's go.
(17:50):
The wrath of God is beingrevealed from heaven against all
the godlessness and wickednessof people who suppress the truth
by their wickedness, since whatmay be known about God is plain
to them, because God has madeit plain to them.
For since the creation of theworld, god's invisible qualities
(18:11):
, his eternal power and divinenature have been clearly seen,
being understood from what hasbeen made, so that people are
without excuse.
Excuse.
Ladies and gentlemen beloved,when you walk outside and you
witness the wind swaying, a tree, a child playing in the street,

the beautiful moon and thestars in the heavens, that you
gaze at, the warmth of the sunas it disperses its neutrinos, a
song that is being sung, a newlife being born, the dew coming
(18:53):
from the heavens, the fragrancecoming off a rose, it declares
God's glory.
And have you thanked him forthat lately?
Or are you so concerned withBill's money and prosperity?
You have forgot that Paul issaying through inspiration of
(19:15):
the Holy Spirit you are withoutexcuse, pastor Joshua.
You are without excuse Foralthough they knew God, they
neither glorified him nor gavethanks to him, but their
thinking became futile and theirfoolish hearts were darkened.
(19:36):
Have you noticed that when anindividual here in verse 21,
that they didn't give thanks tohim?
There's a direct correlation tofutility and foolishness and a
heart becoming darkened.
If you don't wake up every day,if I don't wake up every day
and give thanks to the Lord,everything we do is futile and

our hearts will progress intodarkness and destruction.
Beloved, let's carry on toverse 22.
Although they claimed to bewise, they became fools and
exchanged the glory of theimmortal God for images made to
look like a mortal human beingand birds and animals and
(20:19):
reptiles.
There is a historical contextto this.
Paul is talking about peoplethat used to worship idols, but
it's imminent that we understandtoday that we are doing the
same thing in this culture andeven though I read this when we
were talking about Sodom andGomorrah, I have to go over this
(20:42):
again so we can wake up and wecan understand in this country
what's going on.
Now let's continue to verse 24.
Therefore, god gave them over,in the sinful desires of their
hearts, to sexual impurity forthe degrading of their bodies
with one another.
Let's break that down.
(21:04):
What does that mean?
Therefore, god gave them over.
I know we sit here in churches,we sit here in the pews and we
watch the pastor at the pulpitand we get really excited about
the rock band, we eat our donutsand we drink our $5 lattes,
ladies and gentlemen, and we gohome feeling good and we tell
(21:25):
God we've given you that onehour until next time.
And lives don't change becausetruth isn't being preached and
truth isn't being taught.
When we get so far away fromGod and we know of his existence
, like Ecclesiastes says,eternity is locked away in our
hearts.
(21:45):
God pronounces judgment in verse24.
Well, what do you mean, pastorJoshua?
Therefore, god gave them overIn God's heavenly realm, sitting
on his throne, in his role andwrath and judgment.
God says I pronounce judgmenton you and I give you over to
(22:08):
your heart of sexual impurityand your depravity.
And I pronounce judgment on youand I will let you go deeper
into your sin, even though youthink you're one of mine.
Even if you sit in church foran hour, your life hasn't
changed.
You're doing the same thingsand I'm going to give you over
and no longer woo you with theHoly Spirit.
And this is one of the mostdangerous judgments there are,
(22:32):
because people wake up every daythinking they're fine and
there's no fruit.
But, like Jesus said, the ax isbeing taken to the root, not
just Israel, but for theindividual, and it will be cast
in the fire.
That's what Jesus said.
So in verse 24, god pronouncesjudgment and gives them over to
(22:55):
sexual impurity for thedegrading of one another.
They've exchanged the truthabout God for a lie and
worshiped and served createdthings rather than the creator,
who is forever praised.
Amen.
You really want to get to themeat and you really want to get
(23:15):
to the potatoes of what Paul issaying here.
And this is why I say politicsall aside.
And I have friends and I know alot of you are listening,
because I have thousands oflisteners.
I know friends are sittingthere and every day they're
talking about the vaccine andthe coronavirus and communism
and everything else.
On the right and then on theleft they're saying that people
(23:39):
are Neanderthals and they lackthe insight on empirical
evidence of what the vaccinescan do.
Insight on empirical evidenceOf what the vaccines can do.
And on the right, they'resaying that you're going to
become A walking magnet andthere's heavy metals.
Ladies and gentlemen, I askedone friend, a couple friends
actually that are going throughthis tirade every single day If
(24:02):
you Were that enthusiastic AboutGod and the gospel, he would
have used you to convert athousand souls already.
It's written, the story iswritten.
We will suffer and in the lastdays Jesus said they're going to
be marrying and drinking andpartying like in the days of
Noah, and a lot of people thinkthat has to do with the rapture.
(24:23):
One will be taken, one will beleft.
That is not the rapture, ladiesand gentlemen.
It's a lot of bad Bibleteaching in there.
I got the credentials, I wentto seminary and I would contend
that one will be taken away injudgment and one will be left
and preserved in Jesus Christ,and that's what Jesus meant.
Judgment is coming and that'swhy he's using the story, the
(24:45):
illustration of Noah.
The people are going to bethinking they're okay and Christ
says when I return, you're notgoing to be okay, unless you're
really with me Because of this.
Starting at verse 26, god gavethem over to shameful lust.
Even the women exchangednatural sexual relations for
(25:06):
unnatural ones.
In the same way, the men alsoabandoned natural relations with
women and were inflamed withlust for one another.
In the age of politicalcorrectness, I've even heard
from church members, churchgoers and even elderships and
people in pastoral ministry allroads lead to God.
It's okay.

Everybody's trying to find Godin their own way.
We're all going to get there.
We can't be judgmental.
We got to be politicallycorrect because we got to keep
the coffers flowing with moneyand keep preaching the
prosperity gospel in America,because that's why everybody
wants to hear and we need toreduce Christ to a care bearer.

That's what's happened.
Do you know that the Bible saysin the Old Testament that if a
woman puts on a man's clothesand a man puts on a woman's
clothes, it's an abomination andthey should be taken outside of
the camp and put to death?
Now I know people are going tosay whoa, pastor Joshua.
(26:11):
But Jesus came and he'sdifferent.
The New Testament's different,the Old Testament's different?
Not at all, not in theslightest.
The Bible says God is immutable, he's unchangeable Now?
Should we do that today?
Absolutely not.
That was a theocratic systemand God was governing that whole
entire nation.
(26:31):
But the principle is stillthere and God was going to come
back and he's going to deal withthat.
And he's going to deal with itwith the same type of wrath and
the same type of judgment whenJesus Christ returns.
But people don't want to hearthat.
They don't want to hear thatbecause it's just not savory,
it's not enticing.

And how can God be sojudgmental?
Well, I would appeal toeverybody.
God is a dichotomist.
It is black and it is white,and that is how it is.
Men committed shameful actswith other men and received in
themselves the due penalty oftheir error.

Now I've heard pastors preachabout STDs and all this and that
, and this is not what verse 27is talking about.
It's talking about the dualpenalty for their error in
judgment, in wrath and whatevercomes their way within the
mystery of the counsel of God.
And that will happen, ladiesand gentlemen, and I'm on fire
today because as I'm watchingeverything unfold in Afghanistan
(27:34):
and Joel Biden pulling outwhich is one of the most
cowardice things I've ever seenleaving Americans on the ground
and Democrats literally sittingthere defending him and people
sitting here and saying it'sTrump's fault and this and that.
Ladies and gentlemen, this isshameful.
What's happening in thiscountry right now?
Leaving people to die, leavingpeople to be destroyed, and it's
(27:59):
like Joe Biden claims he's aCatholic.
And aren't we supposed to loveour enemies?
And if we do things, aren't wesupposed to do them in a
systematic way of withdrawal?
But look at Joe Biden'sspiritual life.
Look at a lot of the Democratspiritual life.
Look at a lot of Republicanspiritual life.

Well, pastor Joshua, what areyou?
Democrat or Republican?
Neither I'm a Christian.
I'm a bona fide, certified,jesus-loving maniac for Jesus.
That's what I am.
Furthermore, just as they didnot think it worthwhile to
retain the knowledge of God, soGod gave them over to a depraved
(28:44):
mind.
Ladies and gentlemen, when wedon't retain the knowledge of
God, it is replaced by theenemy's knowledge of evil and
wickedness.
And you know what God says.
When you're not with me, whenyou don't stand with me, when
you don't live as a Christian,when you claim you are or you're
not a Christian in general, Iwill pronounce judgment if you
(29:09):
don't use my knowledge and giveyou over to a depraved mind and
give you over to a depraved mind.
That is such a serious judgment, and our nation has been given
over to a depraved mind.
I do not think that I am soarrogant that this nation is so
(29:30):
great in the sense, spiritually,that we are untouchable.
The day is coming, ladies andgentlemen, the day of wrath, the
day that Christ returns andpours out his judgment on the
nations and it is not going tobe good so that they do what
ought not to be done.
They have become filled withevery kind of wickedness, evil,
(29:51):
greed and depravity.
Look around around, ladies andgentlemen.
We're a nation of greed.
The average christian I don'thear him say I want more jesus,
jesus, jesus, jesus.
I want more christ.
I want to love more.
I want to speak to my enemiesand love them more.
I want to preach and spread thegospel.
It is.
I want more.
I can't get enough.
My belly is full, my cabinetsare overflowing, I'm vomiting
(30:18):
all the material possessionsBecause I cannot contain anymore
, and I want more.
I'm fired up.
I'm fired up because what I'mseeing right now Is not good.
Let's continue on.
They are full of envy, murder,strife, deceit and malice.
They are gossips, slanderers,god-haters, insolent, arrogant
(30:39):
and boastful.
I, I, I, I, not God, god, god,god.
They invent ways of doing evil.
They disobey their parents.
They have no understanding, nofidelity.
You know what that means nofaithfulness in the marriages,
no faithfulness to Christ, nofaithfulness to love, no love,
(31:04):
no mercy.
Although they know God'srighteous decree that those who
do such things deserve deathExcuse me, that's in the New
Testament Deserve death, theynot only continue to do these
very things, but also approve ofthose who practice them.
(31:27):
Ladies and gentlemen, we'regoing to close it off there.
We need to wake up, smell theroses, literally Enjoy the dew,
and acknowledge God for what heis, because, like I always say,
people are going to cringe atthis statement.
Hell is going to be full ofpeople that are sitting in

churches.

Everybody's panicking,Everybody's really upset,

concerned, angry, over what'shappening in the Middle East,
what's happening in Afghanistan.
The Taliban and people are justsuper upset that we're pulling
out.
People love Biden.
They love Trump.
They want Trump back.
What is going on, ladies andgentlemen?

Well, I would like to contestand come at it from a different
viewpoint and a different angle.
We are not going to get ouranswer in man.
We are not going to get ananswer because man is fallible.
We're not going to get ananswer from Donald Trump and we
are not going to get our answerfrom Joe Biden.

I would contend that thissociety has left God From so
many people getting mad becausethey fight over the Ten
Commandments not being displayedin courthouses.
I think people and individualsneed to display the Ten
Commandments in their housebefore we start trying to storm

court buildings.
And one of my professors saidit back in seminary the best we
need to start living by the 10commandments before we start
trying to push the 10commandments on everybody else.
And I agree with that statementmy professor made back in
seminary, Because, I look around, the majority of people cannot

even recite the Ten Commandments.
So God has become a talkingpiece, a paperweight, something
to do.
Church has become a rock concertand the church and the word is
not the focus of attention.
It's become the stage in the21st century of America, and

I've heard it repeatedly said Ilike going to church because the
best part is the worship.
Well, ladies and gentlemen,what about the word of God?
Not the music, but the word ofGod, and I understand that music
is important, but we havewhat's called religious
consumerism in this countrynowadays, ladies and gentlemen,

Biblical literacy is at anall-time high.
Families are falling apart, thedivorce rate is high,
Infidelity and homosexuality isrunning rampant in our churches
and we wonder why we have aproblem.
I would contend that it's not apolitical issue.

I would contend that it's notsome type of academic issue.
I would contend that peoplearen't waking up with the joy of
the gospel in their heart, thatthey don't have a desire to
worship the creator, that that'snot their first priority.
I was talking to a buddy ofmine before we get into

couple of my friends got reallyconvicted because I asked them
and I'm starting to look aroundand ask multiple people when you
wake up in the morning, what isyour first priority?
Is it Jesus or is it somethingelse?

You're not married toslandering somebody, a new fancy

away from him because we don'twant to offend churchgoers.
And wrath is not coming to thiscountry, ladies and gentlemen.
We claim Christianity andthere's not a lot of joy in
Christ and we get excited overmoney more than the gospel.

And wrath is not coming to thiscountry.
I would contend that I pray thatif you're listening to this
broadcast, the time is coming,that Christ's return is imminent
and I don't have a date andtime because Christ even said,
not even me, not even I, but theFather knows, but it will

happen one day and he will comein the second coming and he will
display his power and glory andand in wrath.
So I would contend, as aChristian living in America
don't be comfortable, becausewhen you're comfortable you're
in the most dangerous spot youcan be at, because the enemy
will pick you off.

God has a covering on Americaand we're all somehow just okay

because we're so arrogant,because we are America.
Let's look at the moral decline, ladies and gentlemen.
Paul goes to extreme lengthsand detail to convey this
message Romans 1, 18, 32.

The wrath of God is beingrevealed from heaven against all
the godlessness and wickednessof people who suppress the truth
by their wickedness, since whatmay be known about God is plain
to them, because God has madeit plain to them.

You have forgot that Paul issaying through inspiration of

You are without excuse Foralthough they knew God, they
neither glorified him nor gavethanks to him, but their

Have you noticed that when anindividual here in verse 21,
that they didn't give thanks tohim?
There's a direct correlation tofutility and foolishness and a
heart becoming darkened.

our hearts will progress intodarkness and destruction.
Beloved, let's carry on toverse 22.
Although they claimed to bewise, they became fools and
exchanged the glory of theimmortal God for images made to
look like a mortal human beingand birds and animals and

reptiles.
There is a historical contextto this.
Paul is talking about peoplethat used to worship idols, but
it's imminent that we understandtoday that we are doing the
same thing in this culture andeven though I read this when we
were talking about Sodom andGomorrah, I have to go over this
(20:42):
again so we can wake up and wecan understand in this country
what's going on.
Now let's continue to verse 24.
Therefore, god gave them over,in the sinful desires of their
hearts, to sexual impurity forthe degrading of their bodies
with one another.
Let's break that down.
(21:04):
What does that mean?
Therefore, god gave them over.
I know we sit here in churches,we sit here in the pews and we
watch the pastor at the pulpitand we get really excited about
the rock band, we eat our donutsand we drink our $5 lattes,
ladies and gentlemen, and we gohome feeling good and we tell
(21:25):
God we've given you that onehour until next time.
And lives don't change becausetruth isn't being preached and
truth isn't being taught.
When we get so far away fromGod and we know of his existence
, like Ecclesiastes says,eternity is locked away in our
hearts.
(21:45):
God pronounces judgment in verse24.
Well, what do you mean, pastorJoshua?
Therefore, god gave them overIn God's heavenly realm, sitting
on his throne, in his role andwrath and judgment.
God says I pronounce judgmenton you and I give you over to
(22:08):
your heart of sexual impurityand your depravity.
And I pronounce judgment on youand I will let you go deeper
into your sin, even though youthink you're one of mine.
Even if you sit in church foran hour, your life hasn't
changed.
You're doing the same thingsand I'm going to give you over
and no longer woo you with theHoly Spirit.
And this is one of the mostdangerous judgments there are,
(22:32):
because people wake up every daythinking they're fine and
there's no fruit.
But, like Jesus said, the ax isbeing taken to the root, not
just Israel, but for theindividual, and it will be cast
in the fire.
That's what Jesus said.
So in verse 24, god pronouncesjudgment and gives them over to
(22:55):
sexual impurity for thedegrading of one another.
They've exchanged the truthabout God for a lie and
worshiped and served createdthings rather than the creator,
who is forever praised.
Amen.
You really want to get to themeat and you really want to get
(23:15):
to the potatoes of what Paul issaying here.
And this is why I say politicsall aside.
And I have friends and I know alot of you are listening,
because I have thousands oflisteners.
I know friends are sittingthere and every day they're
talking about the vaccine andthe coronavirus and communism
and everything else.
On the right and then on theleft they're saying that people
(23:39):
are Neanderthals and they lackthe insight on empirical
evidence of what the vaccinescan do.
Insight on empirical evidenceOf what the vaccines can do.
And on the right, they'resaying that you're going to
become A walking magnet andthere's heavy metals.
Ladies and gentlemen, I askedone friend, a couple friends
actually that are going throughthis tirade every single day If

you Were that enthusiastic AboutGod and the gospel, he would
have used you to convert athousand souls already.
It's written, the story iswritten.
We will suffer and in the lastdays Jesus said they're going to
be marrying and drinking andpartying like in the days of
Noah, and a lot of people thinkthat has to do with the rapture.

One will be taken, one will beleft.
That is not the rapture, ladiesand gentlemen.
It's a lot of bad Bibleteaching in there.
I got the credentials, I wentto seminary and I would contend
that one will be taken away injudgment and one will be left
and preserved in Jesus Christ,and that's what Jesus meant.
Judgment is coming and that'swhy he's using the story, the

illustration of Noah.
The people are going to bethinking they're okay and Christ
says when I return, you're notgoing to be okay, unless you're
really with me Because of this.
Starting at verse 26, god gavethem over to shameful lust.
Even the women exchangednatural sexual relations for

unnatural ones.
In the same way, the men alsoabandoned natural relations with
women and were inflamed withlust for one another.
In the age of politicalcorrectness, I've even heard
from church members, churchgoers and even elderships and
people in pastoral ministry allroads lead to God.
It's okay.

Everybody's trying to find Godin their own way.
We're all going to get there.
We can't be judgmental.
We got to be politicallycorrect because we got to keep
the coffers flowing with moneyand keep preaching the
prosperity gospel in America,because that's why everybody
wants to hear and we need toreduce Christ to a care bearer.

That's what's happened.
Do you know that the Bible saysin the Old Testament that if a
woman puts on a man's clothesand a man puts on a woman's
clothes, it's an abomination andthey should be taken outside of
the camp and put to death?
Now I know people are going tosay whoa, pastor Joshua.

But Jesus came and he'sdifferent.
The New Testament's different,the Old Testament's different?
Not at all, not in theslightest.
The Bible says God is immutable, he's unchangeable Now?
Should we do that today?
Absolutely not.
That was a theocratic systemand God was governing that whole
entire nation.

But the principle is stillthere and God was going to come
back and he's going to deal withthat.
And he's going to deal with itwith the same type of wrath and
the same type of judgment whenJesus Christ returns.
But people don't want to hearthat.
They don't want to hear thatbecause it's just not savory,
it's not enticing.

And how can God be sojudgmental?
Well, I would appeal toeverybody.
God is a dichotomist.
It is black and it is white,and that is how it is.
Men committed shameful actswith other men and received in
themselves the due penalty oftheir error.
(27:13):
Now I've heard pastors preachabout STDs and all this and that
, and this is not what verse 27is talking about.
It's talking about the dualpenalty for their error in
judgment, in wrath and whatevercomes their way within the
mystery of the counsel of God.
And that will happen, ladiesand gentlemen, and I'm on fire
today because as I'm watchingeverything unfold in Afghanistan
(27:34):
and Joel Biden pulling outwhich is one of the most
cowardice things I've ever seenleaving Americans on the ground
and Democrats literally sittingthere defending him and people
sitting here and saying it'sTrump's fault and this and that.
Ladies and gentlemen, this isshameful.
What's happening in thiscountry right now?
Leaving people to die, leavingpeople to be destroyed, and it's

like Joe Biden claims he's aCatholic.
And aren't we supposed to loveour enemies?
And if we do things, aren't wesupposed to do them in a
systematic way of withdrawal?
But look at Joe Biden'sspiritual life.
Look at a lot of the Democratspiritual life.
Look at a lot of Republicanspiritual life.

Democrat or Republican?
Neither I'm a Christian.
I'm a bona fide, certified,jesus-loving maniac for Jesus.
That's what I am.
Furthermore, just as they didnot think it worthwhile to
retain the knowledge of God, soGod gave them over to a depraved

mind.
Ladies and gentlemen, when wedon't retain the knowledge of
God, it is replaced by theenemy's knowledge of evil and
wickedness.
And you know what God says.
When you're not with me, whenyou don't stand with me, when
you don't live as a Christian,when you claim you are or you're
not a Christian in general, Iwill pronounce judgment if you

don't use my knowledge and giveyou over to a depraved mind and
give you over to a depraved mind.
That is such a serious judgment, and our nation has been given
over to a depraved mind.
I do not think that I am soarrogant that this nation is so

great in the sense, spiritually,that we are untouchable.
The day is coming, ladies andgentlemen, the day of wrath, the
day that Christ returns andpours out his judgment on the
nations and it is not going tobe good so that they do what
ought not to be done.
They have become filled withevery kind of wickedness, evil,

greed and depravity.
Look around around, ladies andgentlemen.
We're a nation of greed.
The average christian I don'thear him say I want more jesus,
jesus, jesus, jesus.
I want more christ.
I want to love more.
I want to speak to my enemiesand love them more.
I want to preach and spread thegospel.
It is.
I want more.
I can't get enough.
My belly is full, my cabinetsare overflowing, I'm vomiting
(30:18):
all the material possessionsBecause I cannot contain anymore
, and I want more.
I'm fired up.
I'm fired up because what I'mseeing right now Is not good.
Let's continue on.
They are full of envy, murder,strife, deceit and malice.
They are gossips, slanderers,god-haters, insolent, arrogant

and boastful.
I, I, I, I, not God, god, god,god.
They invent ways of doing evil.
They disobey their parents.
They have no understanding, nofidelity.
You know what that means nofaithfulness in the marriages,
no faithfulness to Christ, nofaithfulness to love, no love,

no mercy.
Although they know God'srighteous decree that those who
do such things deserve deathExcuse me, that's in the New
Testament Deserve death, theynot only continue to do these
very things, but also approve ofthose who practice them.

Ladies and gentlemen, we'regoing to close it off there.
We need to wake up, smell theroses, literally Enjoy the dew,
and acknowledge God for what heis, because, like I always say,
people are going to cringe atthis statement.
Hell is going to be full ofpeople that are sitting in

churches.
