approach, though.
Yeah.
And talk about different stuff.
Yeah, instead of exact samethings.
SPEAKER_06 (01:20):
No, we're gonna talk
about the same exact things.
SPEAKER_04 (01:22):
Okay, so trick or
treating.
No.
SPEAKER_06 (01:25):
All right, so scary
movies.
SPEAKER_04 (01:27):

That's not true.
Uh send that to 123 Fake Street,Alabama.
SPEAKER_04 (02:23):
I think you mean
1620 Pennsylvania Avenue.
That's right.
Washington, D.C.
SPEAKER_06 (02:29):
Why do I feel like
we've made this joke already?
SPEAKER_04 (02:32):
Because we're trying
to get all of our mail sent to
the president of the UnitedStates.
SPEAKER_06 (02:36):
That's true.
I think the last time we madethat joke, we had a different
president.
SPEAKER_04 (02:40):
Yeah, maybe.
I don't know.
We should make a spreadsheet andfigure out how many times we've
made that joke.
And then keep making it though?
Yeah, and keep on making it.
And every time we make it, itgoes on the spreadsheet.
SPEAKER_06 (02:52):
Okay.
Everybody be on the lookout forthe joke spreadsheet.
The address joke spreadsheet.
All right.
Well, what are we talking abouttonight?
I was gonna say, before we do,did uh anybody tune in to the
Kingdom Hearts episode that waslast week?
I know of at least one personthat did.
SPEAKER_04 (03:13):
Who was that?
Our dearly beloved Joel.
Nice.
He listened all the way through.
I might be the only one.
The moment that he finishedlistening, he called me and he's
like, what the heck, dude?
SPEAKER_06 (03:28):
I was like, Yeah,
kudos to you for listening, man.
Wow.
Because we talked about, I don'tremember if it was on rec
recorded or if we talked aboutit afterwards, but we said that
as long as it gets more than 10views, we'll be happy.
Yeah.
And last time I looked, it wasat six.
So yeah.
SPEAKER_04 (03:46):
Yeah.
He well, his feedback wasthere's so many names that it
was hard to keep track of what'sgoing on because of all the
names.
SPEAKER_06 (03:55):
That's that's
Kingdom Hearts.
Yeah.
There's so many names.
And there's so many names that Idid not mention or talk about in
full capacity.
Uh, I wanted the reason why Ibrought it up is I wanted to
apologize.
I was editing that podcastepisode, and there's so many
things where I got confused atme talking, like, what was I
(04:17):
talking about?
What the heck?
Like, there's so many detailswhere I'd be talking about
something and then get on mytangent and my rant, and it just
wouldn't make any sense.
Like, what is going on in thisepisode?
And I'm the one leading theepisode, so yeah, I just I love
Kingdom Hearts and I get reallypassionate about it.
So if there's a takeaway fromthat episode, it's that I really
(04:42):
love Kingdom Hearts, and youshould go try it out because of
how passionate I am about it.
SPEAKER_04 (04:49):
Did you know that
this is totally random, but did
you know that Dragon Ball Z dida crossover special with One
Piece and Tareko?
All three of them, all three ofthose animes did a crossover.
SPEAKER_06 (05:07):
Tariko.
SPEAKER_04 (05:08):
I guess it's another
anime.
SPEAKER_06 (05:10):
What does the
character look like?
SPEAKER_04 (05:12):
Uh he's like red
shirt, buff, got like three
scars on the side of his face, Iguess.
SPEAKER_06 (05:21):
Do you have a pitch?
Just hold on, just let me movearound the table and look.
That's the dude from Fist of theNorth Star, I think.
Or is it Tariko?
Tariko, Tariko.
I've never watched Fist of theNorth Star, but yeah, there's a
lot of odd Dragon Ball Zcrossovers and stuff like that.
SPEAKER_04 (05:39):
Well, I just thought
it was interesting.
I watched it today, but it wasYeah, One Piece, Dragon Ball Z,
Tariko.
And I was like, and it wasexactly what you expected it to
be.
When you've got the threepowerhouses of these animes
fighting the same enemytogether, you're like, well, the
enemy doesn't really stand achance.
(06:00):
And so it was what it was.
It was a quick five-punchknockout of this, like
apparently.
SPEAKER_06 (06:06):
Especially with one
of these characters can knock
out the villain in one go.
Exactly.
And now you have all three ofthese powerhouses.
SPEAKER_04 (06:12):
All that was missing
was Saitama from One Punch.
And it would have been done.
Yeah.
SPEAKER_06 (06:20):
The problem with
like these crossovers things,
right?
Yeah.
Like, especially with like aMarvel crossover with DC or Hulk
versus Wolverine or all the youknow, that kind of stuff is like
your heroes are never going tolose.
They're always going to havesome sort of tie.
SPEAKER_04 (06:37):
Yeah.
SPEAKER_06 (06:38):
And then they're
going to end up going up against
whatever started the fight inthe first place who instigated
the fight.
That's just any kind ofcrossover story is never going
to end with one winning and onelosing.
SPEAKER_04 (06:50):
Yeah.
Well, they were all workingtogether, so then they should
have been fighting.
That'd have been moreinteresting.
Well, they did fight, but thenthey like did a cop out of it
and made it to where they allequally lost, and one a third
random guy just happened to beat the right place at the right
time and won.
So you mean a fourth random guy?
Oh, yeah, sorry, a fourth randomguy.
(07:10):
But it was funny.
SPEAKER_06 (07:11):
Anyways, let's get
into our main topics.
Alright, so Tyler, this is yourspooky transition into just cut
off the busters part.
That worked fairly well.
Try again.
There it is.
Hey, we did it.
We're talking about ghost ingeneral.
SPEAKER_01 (07:34):
Do it, lady.
SPEAKER_06 (07:36):
Like at a hospital,
ghost in a general hospital.
Oh.
Yeah.
SPEAKER_04 (07:41):
Yeah.
Alright, well, yeah, we're gonnatalk about it.
You know what I foundinteresting?
The article that I was checkingout says 20 of the most haunted
places.
The first one was New Orleans.
SPEAKER_06 (07:53):
Do you think that
that is because of tourism that
they advertise that?
SPEAKER_04 (07:57):
Well, I know that
that's what they do for
Savannah.
Like they advertise it as beinglike haunted.
Yeah.
But I don't know how I don'tknow how the ranking works.
SPEAKER_06 (08:10):
Yeah, who goes out
there and says on a scale of one
to ten, how haunted was this?
That was a six.
Then you go to Savannah, thatwas a ten.
Yeah.
And I think that is a testamentto my opinion on ghost.
And I think that you're gonnaagree with me on this.
I don't believe in them.
(08:31):
I'm sorry, they're not real.
SPEAKER_04 (08:33):
Okay.
SPEAKER_06 (08:34):
I love that pause of
an okay.
SPEAKER_04 (08:36):
Well, no, I think
that they're real, it's just
it's not what they're projectedas.
SPEAKER_06 (08:40):
All right, we're
gonna get let's let's I'll make
that statement right now anddifferentiate between ghosts and
demons.
The way that people see ghostsin the traditional sense of this
is a person who was alive, yeah, and now after they died, they
are now on planet Earth as aspirit, yeah.
(09:01):
That's not real wandering, thatis not real.
I don't agree with that.
When we are talking about ghostsin the traditional Hollywood
horror movie, whatever, yeah, they are not real.
SPEAKER_04 (09:13):
Or even like in a
psychic reading.
Correct.
SPEAKER_06 (09:16):
I mean, but when
you're talking about spirits,
right, are real, spectralentities, demons, yeah, that
kind of stuff, that is real.
Yep.
SPEAKER_04 (09:27):
And I think that's
where we need to break the
paradigm because every ghosthunter series you watch, they're
always trying to figure out whythe ghost is left behind or why
is it wandering around, or likewhy did its spirit get left in
the mortal world?
So that's why everyone puts thatidea to it.
Like, oh yeah, it's the human,it it is that human.
(09:51):
They're just left behind andthey're here to haunt us.
And how can we help you move on?
Yeah, exactly.
How can we put you to sleep orwhatever?
SPEAKER_06 (09:58):
Yeah.
Put you to rest.
Put you to put you down.
We'll put you just down, ghostboy.
Put you down.
But no, like in those ghostshows, if there is something
actually physically there, Ibelieve that it is a malice
entity manipulating thesituation.
(10:19):
Yeah.
Because how look at it likethis, how beneficial would it be
to demons and the enemy, right?
Um, to create the illusion thatyour loved ones are still here.
SPEAKER_04 (10:35):
Well, and there's a
so there I know that there's
gonna be a strand of people thatare gonna make the argument that
demonic entities or spirits arethe ghosts of Nephilim, the
fallen children of angelsbreeding with humans, if you
swim up that pond.
(10:57):
Ponds don't have connection.
Oh, sorry, if you swim up thatstream.
Yeah, that's dumb.
Hey uh, did you swim to the topof the pond?
SPEAKER_06 (11:08):
Yeah, I swam across
that whole puddle.
SPEAKER_04 (11:11):
Yeah.
The but that's the argument, isthat demonic spirits on our
world currently are the spiritsof the deceased physical
Nephilim creatures that are theoffspring of angel of angelic
entities breeding with humanwomen.
(11:36):
So you could make that line ofargument where yes, it is a
spirit that's left behind, itsmortal body is dead, but its
spirit is left one or the earth,if you like draw those lines.
But either way, I think we'reapproaching it from the place of
ghosts are a demonic presence, they're not the spirit of an
(12:03):
individual human.
SPEAKER_06 (12:04):
Very in no way,
shape, or form affiliate
affiliated with someone youcared or loved, loved or cared
about.
SPEAKER_04 (12:11):
Or owned the house
that you bought.
Uh they owned it a hundred yearsago, and now you've bought it,
and now you've got this unwantedroommate that's a spectral.
SPEAKER_06 (12:21):
That's not which, if
it was that, wouldn't you want
that out anyways?
Why accept it?
SPEAKER_04 (12:27):
Well, I don't I
don't know why people do what
they do.
SPEAKER_06 (12:29):
But uh Well, because
my my train of thought and where
I was going was is a lot ofpeople they don't want to let
their loved ones go.
Yeah.
So they create these scenarios.
Oh, they are absolutely here.
And oh, they, you know, when mymom was alive, she flipped the
light switch on and off as uhshe left the room, and now my
(12:50):
lights flicker on and off.
It just lets me she lets me knowshe's here.
No, that's manipulation.
If it is that actually what'sgoing on is a demonic
manipulation.
Yeah.
I'm a hundred percent of theopinion that it is an entity
getting in the way of you andGod.
SPEAKER_04 (13:10):
Yeah.
Uh if you go to Job chapter 14,verse 12 says, so he lays down
and does not rise till theheavens are no more.
People will not awake or beroused from their sleep.
And sleep there, they're talkingabout death.
So they're not gonna, you know, just pop up, or or their
(13:32):
spirit's not gonna rise up andjust wander the earth.
Uh Ecclesiastes 9 5.
For the living know that theywill die, but the dead know
nothing.
They have no further reward, andeven their name is forgotten.
What else do I have?
(13:55):
Isaiah eight nineteen, whensomeone tells you to consult
mediums and spirits who whisperand mutter, should not a people
inquire of their God, whyconsult the dead on behalf of
the living?
So I'm I should use that onelater on when we got to that
point.
SPEAKER_06 (14:14):
But uh pull up
Deuteronomy eighteen ten through
twelve.
Deuteronomy Deuteronomy eighteentwelve?
Eighteen ten through twelve.
SPEAKER_04 (14:32):
Okay.
Are you ready?
Yeah.
All right.
This is the new internationalversion.
The NIV.
The NIV.
Let no one be found among youwho sacrifices their son or
daughter in the fire, whopractices divination or sorcery,
(14:53):
interprets omens, engages inwitchcraft, or casts spells, or
who is a medium of spirits, orwho consults the dead.
Anyone who does these things isdetestable to the Lord, because
these same detestable practices, the Lord your God will drive out
(15:15):
those nations before you.
SPEAKER_06 (15:18):
So I mean, and that
kind of goes back to it, and
it's always goes back to this inour conversations about evil
things.
It's it's witchcraft if you'reattempting to communicate, which
it says right there, don't doit.
SPEAKER_04 (15:31):
Well, and I think
that that's why we need to make
the like the clarification ofthese ghosts, these spirits are
demonic, and that's why thatwould be a reason God is saying
it's detestable.
You're consulting and you'reseeking guidance or counsel or
(15:51):
clarity from demons, from theopposition to God.
And the only spiritualconsultation you need is God.
Exactly.
You should seek from the Lord.
I mean, uh the verse I justsaid, the Isaiah, Isaiah 8 19,
when someone tells you toconsult mediums and spirits who
(16:12):
whisper and mutter, should not apeople inquire of their God, why
consult the dead on behalf ofthe living?
So it's that idea.
Like, regardless of what youthink, because I know people are
gonna bring up the story of Saulseeking out the medium, or I
guess she's a necromancer.
The witch of indoor.
The witch of indoor, which canwe just say, I mean, that is a
(16:36):
very like Star Warsy sci-fi-yname.
I mean, indoor is in Star Wars.
Yes.
But it needs to be reversedbecause it was in the Bible
first.
SPEAKER_06 (16:47):
Yeah.
So I'm just saying the nameIndoor was in Star Wars.
Doesn't mean it was first, butwithin that, I'm of the mindset
that it was actually the ghostof Samuel, right?
SPEAKER_00 (17:01):
Come on, don't be
crazy.
SPEAKER_06 (17:02):
Oh, maybe I will be
crazy.
I think in that moment for Saulto see that.
I think that the witch didn'tever actually bring forth
Samuel.
Or that uh that if it he did,God allowed it in this instance.
SPEAKER_04 (17:23):
Yeah.
Yeah, it's hard to say.
Like, did God just I don't thinkit was an illusion from the
witch.
Well, but did she bring up aspirit, but God ordained how the
spirit was to speak to Saul tobring that final judgment upon
him?
(17:44):
Or did God allow the spirit ofSamuel to be awakened to bring a
final judgment on Saul?
I I don't know.
I lean towards the other one,uh, because the even these
demonic spirits, they have totake the dictation from the
Lord.
(18:04):
They don't get to make up theirminds.
They're only permitted to dowhat he permits them to do.
And if he demands them to dosomething or commands them to do
it, they have to do it.
So if she summons a spirit andit's the spirit, is it actually
the spirit of Samuel, or is it,you know, a spirit that takes
the personification of Samuel?
(18:26):
Don't know.
And I think that it can be readboth ways is the problem.
Like it's not super clear eitherway.
What's clear is that Saulperceives that it's Samuel, and
the spirit gives a judgment onSaul that you're gonna die
tomorrow, you and your sons, andthe kingdom will be given to
(18:49):
your neighbor.
So, yeah.
He didn't get anything good outof it like he wanted.
Yeah.
And I think that's the thing israther than seeking the Lord,
you see Saul like reaching foranything, he already knows that
(19:10):
he's been cut off from God, likethe spirit of the Lord has left
him, and so he's trying anythingto get some confidence in what's
going on, and so he seeks tolike, well, if I could just get
Samuel to encourage me, I'll doit.
I'll do it.
And so he even though he becausethe bot the passage makes this
(19:30):
point, they go to find a mediumor a necromancer, even though
Saul had cast out all thenecromancers.
And that that uh necromancer'slike, You're Saul.
Yeah, well, because when thenthey come to ask her, she's
like, Well, because he camedisguised, yeah, yeah.
(19:51):
She's like, Saul cast all thosepeople out, and that's not
allowed.
And they assure her that you'renot gonna get in trouble, like
just summon who we ask you to.
And so she does, and then shefreaks out and she's like,
You're Saul.
You lied to me.
SPEAKER_06 (20:07):
Yeah, because I
mean, and I feel like that kind
of proves my point a little bit, because she's surprised that she
does it, right?
To some degree.
She was like, Wait, I could dothis.
SPEAKER_04 (20:17):
I don't know if it
no, I don't interpret it that
way.
I don't interpret that she'ssurprised that a spear comes up,
but she's surprised at who itis.
Oh, I see.
Because, like, these are theguys who cast out all the people
who are practicing necromancyand divination.
Samuel and Saul are the two whocleanse the land of it.
(20:41):
And here she is, one of them'sfleshly before her, asking to
summon the spirit of the onethat's already passed away.
So, yeah, I think when she whenit's made clear what's going on,
she's like, What the heck?
You deceived me.
So, but you know what you dowhen you have a ghost?
(21:01):
Yeah.
It's like the secret boss.
SPEAKER_06 (21:04):
You know what I
mean?
You don't have that song, doyou?
No, I don't.
Oh, dang.
SPEAKER_04 (21:08):
That would have been
funny.
SPEAKER_06 (21:09):
Uh behind the
curtains.
Uh, we're prepping to be uh DJsat a wedding.
And we uh we had a really coolsong that could have fit that
moment, Secret Boss, but it's onthe other machine.
Yeah.
But uh yeah, that would havebeen funny.
No, I'm trying to get you topress the Ghostbusters button.
unknown (21:29):
Ghostbusters.
SPEAKER_02 (21:33):
Good night.
SPEAKER_06 (21:34):
I will say, speaking
of ghosts movies, like, that's a
pretty good movie.
Ghostbusters?
Yeah, it's a good movie.
SPEAKER_04 (21:40):
Yeah, so what are
some like uh what are popular
ghost experiences for people?
Obviously, movies.
SPEAKER_06 (21:49):
Movies, I think when
you're talking about the
attraction of haunted houses,yeah, right?
Like the the theme park version, yeah, um, those aren't really
ghost related.
I mean, they might have ghostsin them, but it's usually more
monster.
So I guess an actual what's likeyou said earlier, Savannah or
(22:13):
New Orleans going on ghosts, ghost tours, that kind of thing.
Yeah.
But I think the fascinationprobably stems from, you know, a
religious aspect on things,right?
Yeah.
SPEAKER_04 (22:27):
Yeah.
I would because there I thinkthat there's two veins to that.
There's the ghost touring, andthen there's the ghost hunting,
where people hear about ahaunting or a spectral presence,
and so they go with theirequipment to figure out if it's
real, what's going on, you know, the the TV series, yeah, ghost
(22:50):
hunters and stuff like that.
And then, yeah, ghost tours.
We go to these cities that arelike their one of their things
is like, oh, we're the mosthaunted, whatever.
Come and check out our ghosttours where we tell you about
all the different ghosts thathaunt in all the different
areas.
SPEAKER_06 (23:09):
So I used to uh I
used to watch those shows a lot,
but they'd also terrify me whenI'd watch them.
Oh, yeah.
So, like an idiot, I'd besitting there like I'd be
hooked, but I'm like, I don'tthis is so scary.
Yeah.
And then I can't stop watching.
unknown (23:26):
Oh my gosh.
SPEAKER_06 (23:27):
But like I kind of
started seeing a pattern to
where a lot of those were veryHollywood, where it's like
they'd talk to things and callout and all this stuff, and it's
like they be trying to listenback on a radio, and it'd just
be faintly as some sort ofstatic of like hello, yeah, back
type stuff.
But it was always like, no, theyjust picked up on like a radio
(23:49):
station channel, and it wasAdele singing, hello.
SPEAKER_04 (23:53):
You know, like Yeah.
There's a there's a podcast Ilistened to.
They have a record.
One of the one of the hosts wentwith a friend of his that does
like the ghost hunting stuff andhas the equipment, and their
equipment picked up a ghostsaying something, or an entity
saying something.
(24:13):
And when they listened back toit later on, they discovered
that it was saying thepodcaster's name.
And that's why I was so freaky.
They didn't realize it in themoment.
Like it was like freaky, like,oh yeah, we caught something, we
caught it saying something.
SPEAKER_06 (24:28):
But then the
aftermath, realizing it was
saying his name was And then youfind out his name is John, and
there's 30,000 different uhsongs with the name John in it.
Well, but that's what's crazy,is it's his first and last name.
Oh, he says it says first, yeah, and it is specific.
SPEAKER_04 (24:45):
John Smith.
SPEAKER_02 (24:46):
Yeah.
SPEAKER_04 (24:48):
You know, but that's
the thing is like, think about
this.
Like d the demonic resource likeis next to unlimited on this
earth.
It's very close.
Like they've got an insaneamount of resources to do
whatever their agenda is.
Now they are not omnipresentlike God, they're not everywhere
(25:11):
at once.
They can't be.
But there is a lot of there's alot of demons out there, and
it's not let me clarify.
There's not a demon under everysingle rock and behind every
single tree, but there are a lotof demons that coordinate and
work to figure things out andmess with people.
SPEAKER_06 (25:32):
They're not like a
stupid thing.
You know, I mean they'reintelligent.
They're intelligent, they'recrafty, and they will do what
they can to take you downspiritually.
SPEAKER_04 (25:46):
Yeah, to to confine
you to the kingdom of the world,
because that's where Satanrules.
He rules over the kingdom of theearth.
And Christ has defeated him, butthey're still here for a time
until Christ's return.
So they're doing what they canto control their space.
And if someone's not walking inthe light of Christ, then
(26:09):
they're gonna have authorityover them.
If someone's walking in theauthority of Christ, they're
gonna try and deceive them.
So that's that's the deal.
I think that C.S.
Lewis does a pretty good job inhis screw tape letters, yeah, of
kind of showing, like, hey, there's almost a tactical
essence to these demonic spiritswhere they're strategizing
(26:36):
target and they're they'repicking up targets and they're
strategizing how to take themdown.
So, you know, you could look atit in that way.
But I wanted to talk for aminute about I wanted to point
out Savannah or sorry, NewOrleans, not Savannah, New
Orleans.
SPEAKER_06 (26:50):
Before you do, I
wanted to say going back on the
like ghost hunting shows, yeah, and just haunted houses in
general, like what's supposed tobe haunted actual locations, not
like a theme park attraction.
Yeah, yeah.
That stuff's terrify that stuff, that stuff terrifies me.
Yeah.
Like, you know, I you know, I'llgo to like the haunted houses at
(27:13):
the theme parks and I'll watchscary movies and stuff.
But because just to me, howmake-believe that is, yeah, it
just it's not that scary.
But when you're talking aboutgoing to a location, you know
what I mean?
You can I I feel it's scary tome.
You know what I mean?
I wouldn't want to go tosomething like New Orleans or
Savannah.
I don't want to go on theseghost tours because that's when
(27:35):
it feels real to me.
Yeah.
SPEAKER_04 (27:38):
To me, it's a
unwanted presence.
Like I can sense it, and I can'tquite explain it, but like I can
sense the presence there, and Idon't like its presence there.
Does that make sense?
(27:58):
Yeah.
So as a believer in Christ, walking in the light, like I
know what it is to be in Christ.
But when a dark force, whensomething that operates in the
dark, like a demonic spectralentity starts moving around in
(28:18):
my near vicinity, I can tell.
Because it's not of the light,it's of the dark.
And so it does like you can pickup when there's a a spiritual
disturb a spiritual disturbancein the forest.
SPEAKER_06 (28:35):
A spiritual
disturbance in my heart.
Yeah, yeah.
Just strangely ghost romancestory.
SPEAKER_04 (28:44):
Like that was that
my boyfriend's a zombie or
whatever show.
SPEAKER_06 (28:49):
I guess so.
Or Warm Bodies.
Warm Bodies.
That's what it was called.
I never watched it, but it'sactually a pretty good movie.
Yeah.
It's it's dumb, but it's a goodmovie.
Dumb.
It's dumb.
That's the opposite of whatwe're talking about.
SPEAKER_04 (29:03):
Yeah.
SPEAKER_06 (29:04):
Fleshly reanimated
corpses with no spirit.
And then the spirit version.
Are we just backtracking toKingdom Hearts?
What?
Yeah, I guess so.
The heartless and then the nobot.
Ghosts are just spectralzombies.
Yeah.
No, physicals.
Oh, yeah.
You threw me off with thatstatement.
(29:25):
Ghosts are spectral or zombiesare physical ghosts.
Hey.
That's what I thought you wouldsay.
Fleshly ghosts.
Flesh fresh, fresh, fresh reghost.
SPEAKER_04 (29:36):
Fleshly ghosts.
If you put them together, youmake a normal person.
Make a normal person.
SPEAKER_06 (29:44):
Um, yeah.
That can be a series.
What?
Like a parody dating series.
I'm looking for my other half.
Oh, literally.
SPEAKER_04 (29:55):
Uh no, but new okay,
can we talk about New Orleans
for a minute?
SPEAKER_06 (29:59):
Yeah, sorry about
that.
SPEAKER_04 (30:00):
Okay, because New
Orleans tends to pop up whenever
we talk about creepy stuff.
Mm-hmm.
So when we when we when we didthe corner segment about
vampires, it was in New Orleans.
We spent most of the timetalking about the New Orleans
Vampire Association, which is crit's still crazy to me that
that's a thing.
(30:21):
There's a lot of voodoo thatcomes out of New Orleans.
And I mean, voodoo, to myunderstanding, is just black
magic.
It's just like a Creole blackmagic.
You know?
Witchcraft.
It's yeah.
And then here we are.
It's the most haunted, one ofthe most haunted places in the
United States.
When I Google search it, it'sNew Orleans.
SPEAKER_06 (30:42):
Again, though, going
back to that real quick.
SPEAKER_04 (30:45):
Okay.
SPEAKER_06 (30:46):
On what metric are
they measuring the haunted
hauntedness?
SPEAKER_04 (30:51):
I think it's volume
by stories, and then like how
many locations are like claimedto be haunted.
I see.
Within the space.
SPEAKER_06 (31:02):
So you're telling me
that if I just start going and
talking about it and pretendingto be multiple people online,
your house can be the mosthaunted place in America?
Sure.
Just by reports and No, becauseI think that they would just say
that's one location.
SPEAKER_04 (31:16):
So it wouldn't be
the most haunted place.
See what I'm saying?
Like New Orleans, it's in thetop three because it's multiple
sites.
SPEAKER_06 (31:24):
Sure, but that's a
larger area like New Orleans.
But there's also like I I don'tremember what it is where it is
at, but there's like, oh, thishospital.
Abandoned hospital is the mostlike uh haunted location.
SPEAKER_04 (31:37):
Maybe.
SPEAKER_06 (31:37):
I don't know.
SPEAKER_04 (31:38):
Uh I guess whatever
gets the most attraction.
SPEAKER_06 (31:41):
But uh your house is
going to be soon.
SPEAKER_04 (31:44):
Number one haunted
location in the in the world.
Yeah.
Anyways, so yeah.
Sorry.
New Orleans, Savannah, Georgia, and then Gettysburg,
Pennsylvania popped up, which iswhere the bloodiest battle
understand the logic on that.
SPEAKER_06 (32:03):
Where oh, all of
these, you know, like tortured
people, you know, war, all thatstuff.
Like, I could understand whereif it was real, that being real,
but I don't understand.
SPEAKER_04 (32:16):
You keep on saying
it that way, you gotta say,
like, if it's legitimately humanspirits.
Okay, sorry.
SPEAKER_06 (32:22):
Because it's real,
it is real, right?
Demonic presences, but whenwe're talking about ghosts, when
we're talking about ghosts inthe mainstream way, if you ask
somebody what a ghost is,they're gonna say, in one way or
another, shape or form, this isa person left behind.
They're dead, but they haven'tmoved on.
Left behind.
(32:43):
Left behind.
SPEAKER_04 (32:45):
With Nicolas Cage.
I bet you guys forgot, but hedid that.
He was in a left behind movie.
SPEAKER_06 (32:53):
He was Matthew,
Mark, Luke, and John.
All today, but Nicholas Cage.
Oh, yeah.
In the comment section, tell uswhat episode am I referencing of
the Saints of Surf podcast?
SPEAKER_04 (33:06):
Yeah.
Let us know.
Anyways, uh, yeah, soGettysburg's uh Gettysburg makes
sense to you because of thelargest, bloodiest battle in the
Civil War that occurs there.
To me, New Orleans makes sensebecause of the sheer amount of
(33:26):
black magic that's going on.
It it's welcoming demonicmanifestation all the time.
I guess that's true.
So that's for me.
So you're but you're coming fromthe perspective like if I agreed
with the mainstream view onghosts, Gettysburg makes sense.
(33:47):
And on my side, it's uh I don'tagree with the mainstream view,
however, with the spiritualpresence, yeah.
SPEAKER_06 (33:54):
The practicing of
that spiritual black magic
witchcraft.
Correct.
It makes sense.
Welcoming in all these spirits.
SPEAKER_04 (34:03):
Yeah, when you
welcome all these different
spirits in to guide you, directyou, to make you, then it makes
sense that there's gonna be alot of hauntings, you know, or
deception of lost spiritsroaming the earth, you know.
SPEAKER_06 (34:19):
I mean, I believe
that place would be a place too.
But yeah.
I don't know.
I don't know.
It just like it it just feelsweird where why would when I
think of New Orleans, I think ofMardi Gras, all that stuff.
It just kind of like, for lackof better word, and this might
(34:42):
upset people, a city of sin, right?
Yeah.
Why would demons hang around aplace that they already have a
hold of its main audience?
Well, do you know what I'msaying?
SPEAKER_04 (34:56):
I understand what
you're saying, and the answer to
that is they're of the darknessand they reside in the darkness.
They don't like being exposed bythe light.
So if the light is shining, they're gonna be away from that
because they can't overcome it.
Christ makes that point that thehe will establish his church,
(35:17):
which operates in the light ofChrist, because Christ is the
light of men, and the gates ofhell will not overcome it.
And so, you know, you caninterpret that, I guess, in a
couple of different ways, meaning the gates of hell
meaning death, like death willnot overcome the church because
the church is eternal now.
But another way you could alsolook at it is everything that
(35:39):
has to do with death, meaningdemonic entities, um, spectral
abaritions, all those thingsthat are of the dark of death,
they can't overcome Christ'schurch.
And so if you've got a godlessarea, godless things are gonna
be frequent.
And New Orleans is a prettygodless place.
(36:02):
Yeah.
Unfortunately.
SPEAKER_06 (36:04):
And then Savannah,
Georgia, just a lovely place to
be.
Just absolutely gorgeous, Bob.
SPEAKER_04 (36:12):
Yeah.
I'm trying to, but yeah, Ithat's my thing, is I want to
know what happened in Savannahthat's causing all these
hauntings, apparently.
Right.
Like what is what's the becauselike I said, Gettysburg, okay,
we've got a massive battle thathappens there.
(36:34):
Maybe there's not a lot of thenot a lot of church action going
on there.
And so demonic forces is playingoff of that.
New Orleans has had differentthings happen throughout its
past, but it's also huge onblack magic and voodoo.
(36:54):
So what's what's the gist withSavannah?
Pineapple Dole Whip.
Pineapple Dole Whip.
It's of the devil.
That's at every port.
Wherever pineapples get shipped, they have dole whip.
So what are you trying to say?
SPEAKER_06 (37:12):
I'm wrong.
Oh man.
I wanted to talk about thisstory that I saw.
SPEAKER_04 (37:18):
Okay.
SPEAKER_06 (37:19):
I saw a video on it
where this, and I'll I I can't
remember the rapper's name, buthe was talking about an
experience that he had, and tome it's crazy.
Where he was gonna go on top ofthis mountain to film a music
video, right?
Okay, and so you know, they hadthe whole crew and everything
there.
(37:40):
And some of the crew members hadthese really, really, really
nice cars.
unknown (37:45):
Yeah.
SPEAKER_06 (37:46):
Ferraris and, you
know, that kind of stuff.
Yeah.
And he said, you know, I walkedover to them and I asked him,
where did you get these uh carsfrom?
And he said that they said, Oh,we got this because we worship
the devil and practicedwitchcraft and black magic, and
these were these were given tous.
(38:07):
Yeah.
And he's like, That is that'sweird.
I think I've heard that story.
And so it gets it gets evenworse there.
So, like, yeah, he goes on tosay, Well, okay, that's weird,
but whatever.
So he gets back in the car, andthis other guy's like, he starts
to notice that uh because heshowed interest to them, you
(38:27):
know.
Oh, I I'd like that, you know, just kind of joking around.
I'd like these cars.
How did you get them?
Yeah, I'll do whatever it takesto get these cars, and then he
then he then they told him, he'slike, Oh, that's kind of weird,
but you know, he kind of backedoff, and as he's leaving,
another guy they like they wereleaving the after the shoot.
Like, well, the the the rapperstarted to notice that they're
(38:47):
not going back the way they camein, right?
Yeah.
So he said, uh, hey man, uhwhat's uh what's going on here?
And he's like, he said the guyturned around and his face
changed.
He's he described it like hisface changed like venom, and he
said, We're taking you somewhereto get that car.
Dang.
(39:08):
Something to that effect, right?
Yeah.
So he's like, I gotta get out ofhere.
So he gets out of the car.
He's manages to get out of thecar and runs, and he starts says
he starts praying, I need a wayout, I need a way out, I need a
way out.
He's not specifically praying toGod at this point.
Yeah, but he's like, I need away out, I need a way out.
And a mailman happens to come byand he's like, please let me
(39:28):
just get in the back of yourcar.
Let me get the back of your yourmail truck.
And you know, this mailman ledhim in the back.
Yeah.
And he said he got out of thatsituation.
He says that, you know, I Idevote, I devote my life to
Christ now.
SPEAKER_03 (39:41):
Yeah.
SPEAKER_06 (39:42):
It's like I would
dang, you know, just to be like,
because he showed interest inthese cars, all of a sudden the
that presence started makingitself known, like we're going
somewhere else now with you.
Yeah.
You know, that kind of thing.
SPEAKER_04 (39:56):
Yeah, kind of played
its hand prematurely.
Yeah, it's crazy.
That's crazy, yeah.
Wow, man.
Yeah, I feel like I've heardthat story.
SPEAKER_06 (40:05):
I can't remember
what the name of the rapper is,
but and I I'm not telling itperfectly.
There's videos out there if youwant to go hear his story,
telling his story.
SPEAKER_04 (40:14):
Yeah, dude.
The and that's the thing, thedemonic forces, they can they
can manifest in crazy ways.
So that's why we come backaround to these ghosts, like it
makes more sense that ghosts area demonic presence that are just
(40:35):
trying to distract or scare ordis or distort people from the
truth.
SPEAKER_06 (40:42):
I mean, their best
way to put it is their leader is
the great deceiver, you know, the great greatest liar.
Yeah.
And it's like people have thisperception that they are smarter
than these things.
They are stronger than thesethings.
Yeah.
And you're not.
I mean, the only way we're havestrength is through Christ.
(41:06):
That's right.
SPEAKER_04 (41:07):
Which is a good
moment to point out a verse,
which is First Corinthians 1021.
You cannot drink the cup of theLord and the cup of demons too.
You cannot have a part in boththe Lord's table and the table
of demons.
So there's not a I'll I'll takea little bit from this and a
little bit from that.
(41:28):
It's either you are followingthe Lord or you are operating in
the world.
And so that's why Christians, weshould try to not try, we should
refrain from divination, fromtarot cards, from trying to
access the dead because and andseeking to be consoled or
(41:51):
encouraged or whatever, becausethe dead are dead.
It's not your grandma's spirit,it's not the spirit of your
child, it's not the spirit ofyour dog, your dog.
I and I know that's kind ofhurtful for some people to hear,
but it's not.
And the truth is, is there'sdemonic forces that do not care
(42:12):
about your feelings, but theythey know you're easily
manipulated by getting somethingfrom a spirit of your mom or a
spirit of your grandma or asignificant person to you.
And they, like I said, there's apretty good networking going on
(42:34):
in the demonic realm, and theywatch us, they pick up on our
things like our birthdays, orour this happened in this time,
and it was significant to me andto this person who passed away.
And so it's like, well, this isthe ammo I've got as a demon.
(42:54):
I'm gonna use this to validatethat I am the spirit of your
lost grandma, and you can trustme in what I say.
SPEAKER_06 (43:04):
They're gonna come
at you at probably a very low
point, right?
Yeah, you know, my I um me andmy grandma were incredibly
close, you know, that kind ofscenario, and it's like, yeah,
they're gonna use these thingsthat you know you look out for.
You know, I miss my grandma, yeah, and they're gonna draw you
in.
Yeah, you know, because youknow, that's what they do.
(43:26):
They're there, it's an evilforce that wants to drag you
down with them.
SPEAKER_04 (43:32):
Yeah.
And there's something to be saidabout the demonic, they're not
always looking to operate in away that's necessarily like
deceiving in a loving way, likewhere they're trying to
manipulate your emotions.
There is some that they operatestraight up in fear, where they
(43:53):
they seek to be super carnal, super scary, and just attack to
try and harm people.
So this is a good time to getinto the corner if you're good
with it.
SPEAKER_06 (44:07):
Yeah, let's do this.
All right.
So, Tyler, this is yourtransition into the corner.
SPEAKER_05 (44:16):
Step inside if you
dare.
Shadows move, mysteries whisper, and the unknown awaits.
Welcome to the corner.
SPEAKER_04 (44:39):
So, what do you know
about the Chickamaugua
battlefield?
Not a thing.
All right, learn me.
It is the second bloodiestbattle in the Civil War.
The first being Gettysburg.
Nice.
So, Chickamauga is in Georgiaand it is a national park now,
(45:04):
or a it's a park, state park ornational.
I can't remember which one.
But the battlefield is there.
It says I mean it's massivegreen fields, but there is a
spectral not even a specter, anentity that roams the fields
that has been dubbed the nameOld Green Eyes.
(45:25):
I thought you were gonna say OldGreg.
No, it's not old Greg.
It's not Canadian.
SPEAKER_06 (45:30):
British.
SPEAKER_04 (45:32):
Oh, right, British.
I thought it was a Canadianstand-up.
No, it's British.
No, it's British.
Anyways, Old Green Eyes.
It is a entity that roams thefields and the woods of
Chickamauga.
It has been seen by multiplepeople.
It is what you hear.
(45:54):
It is two green glowing eyes, and the the description of the
creature is like a long haired, like down to the waist, long
raggedy hair, kind of a morelanky creature with a humanoid
(46:18):
uh physique, if you will.
But then there's something aboutits mouth.
SPEAKER_06 (46:23):
I can't remember if
it's just like a long it has
tongue or if it's sharp teeth,or it has an extra row of teeth.
Is that what it is?
I have no idea.
Okay.
I've never heard of this, by theway.
Yeah.
Besides whenever you said thisis what we're talking about
today.
SPEAKER_04 (46:40):
Yeah, so it's been
seen in the park, and the idea
is that it feeds on the dead.
And there's obviously a lot ofdead at the Chickamauga.
But there's also legends that goback before the Civil War from
um the different Indian tribesin that area.
And uh they talk about it too.
(47:02):
It's a creature that uh hasgreen eyes that walks among the
battlefield consuming the dead.
And uh there was a story I readof a guy, and this could be a
fictional story, but the idea isthat he was driving, it was
(47:23):
raining, it was dark, and hethought that he saw headlights,
and as he got closer, it was twogreen eyes, and it was coming
right at him, and so he swervedoff the road last second because
he thought he was about to playchicken, and he ran into a tree
and passed out.
(47:43):
When he woke up, you know, itpassed out for a couple of
seconds or whatever.
When he woke up, this green-eyedentity, because it's not a
spirit, like it's a physicalmanifestation that happened that
this creature jumps onto histruck and is trying to get to
him, and it's got long raggedyhair, it's got these green
(48:09):
glowing eyes, no pupil, likejust a solid green glowing eyes.
Uh, and it's just a kind of likemalnourished humanoid body.
It's uh it's just hisex-girlfriend on drugs.
Yeah, that's what it was.
SPEAKER_03 (48:24):
No, take me back.
SPEAKER_04 (48:26):
But yeah, so it was
trying to get to him and he's
freaking out, and he getssomehow gets out of the truck
and runs off.
Oh, because another vehicle iscoming, the creature runs off
and he's able to get out, and itwas Park Rangers.
Not your son, not my son, theactual Chickamaugua Battlefield
(48:47):
Park Rangers.
They saw his crashed truck, andso they pulled over, and he was
telling them the story, and theywere like, probably not.
But uh, but that's the thing ismultiple people have come out
talking about it, and people goto the Chickamaugua battlefield
to look for old green eyes.
(49:07):
Most people all they see are twoglowing eyes.
Some people see the actualcreature, but most people say
it's a ghost with green eyesthat roam the battlefield.
SPEAKER_06 (49:19):
It'd be really funny
if it was just two really
well-coordinated fireflies.
SPEAKER_04 (49:25):
It would be funny.
But that's where I get becausebefore we started talking about
that, we're talking about thedemonic presence, and some of
them are aggressive and some ofthem are deceptive.
And so this is the example.
Like, this is not a go, like,it's not a ghost in the
traditional sense.
This is a demonic entity that'saggressively trying to harm
(49:47):
people, and it's wandering aboutin a place that has a lot of
death.
So there's something about theAppalachia Mountains.
Chickamauga is not necessarilyin the Appalachia Mountains, but
it's close.
But there's something about itthat has a lot of darkness in
it.
There's a lot of witchcraftthat's practiced, a lot of black
(50:08):
magic, and then there's a lot ofsightings of these different
entities and spirits and thingsthat are all happening
throughout the mountains.
And it's weird.
It's I don't know, I don't knowwhy.
But it is crazy how you know, kind of like the darkness has
(50:28):
strongholds and rural places.
Sometimes in big cities, becausewe talk about New Orleans, but
in places where there's not abig population seems to be where
the crazies that like to dabblein the occult will flock to.
And with that, you know, theyinvite these dark presences to
(50:48):
be there.
So, anyways, that's all greeneyes.
Uh, if anybody wants to commenton that or add anything to it,
feel free.
But just know that apparentlythere is a spectral entity with
green eyes roaming in theChickamauga battlefield.
There's also apparently aheadless horseman?
(51:10):
Yeah, I think that's what'sSleepy Hollow.
I think that's what they labelit, though.
I think they label it as aheadless horseman.
SPEAKER_06 (51:16):
I think a lot of
people will come up with a lot
of weird stuff when they're ondrugs.
SPEAKER_04 (51:21):
So Okay, but this
isn't like every single person
that goes and they have thisencounter is on drugs.
This is multiple people overdecades of time.
SPEAKER_06 (51:31):
No, what was it with
the chupacabra?
Yeah.
We found out later on that itwas was pretty much that, and
then just rumors spread.
unknown (51:39):
I don't remember that.
SPEAKER_06 (51:40):
Was that what we
decided?
I I think so.
Like it was the chupacabra, itwas like one person reported it.
No, and then the story andrumors took off, and several of
the people claiming it wereproved wrong fairly quickly.
Yeah.
Oh, well, maybe then I didn'trightly know.
SPEAKER_04 (52:01):
So that that's
that's what that is.
Probably.
But yeah, the ghost of theheadless soldier, not horseman.
Sorry.
It'd been funny if he was ridinga horse.
Yeah, that would have beenfunnier, I guess.
But it's a civil war, it's notlike a lot of people are riding
horses.
Old General Lee was.
I mean, yeah, there's officersand Colonel Mustard was too
(52:23):
cavalry, but Colonel Mustard.
Um Yeah.
Miss Scarlet was there too.
Miss Scarlet.
SPEAKER_03 (52:32):
I'll never go hungry
again.
SPEAKER_04 (52:35):
Uh there's also an
event for Old Green Eyes that's
hosted.
Uh it's like a festival.
Old Green Eyes Festival.
Does everybody put in greencontext?
I guess.
I don't know what the lure is,like why people want to
celebrate it, but money.
It's there.
Yeah, I guess it's just the it'sthe same reason why people do
(52:59):
Bigfoot festivals and it's justsomething fun to go do.
Yeah.
So that's all I've got.
Do you have anything else youwant to add for ghosts?
I do.
SPEAKER_03 (53:12):
Okay.
SPEAKER_06 (53:14):
Welcome, brave soul.
Come on.
To the only game where thefiction is creepier than the
fact.
In this haunted house ofhilarity, you'll face strange
sounds.
Go ahead.
SPEAKER_00 (53:31):
Come on, don't be
crazy.
SPEAKER_06 (53:33):
Oh, I was hoping for
the foreign sound.
Mysterious shadows.
And eerie encounters.
SPEAKER_01 (53:44):
Do lady.
SPEAKER_06 (53:47):
But beware.
Not everything goes bump in thenight.
Sometimes.
It's just bad plumbing.
Welcome to Ghost or Not Ghost.
So I'm gonna give you ascenario.
Okay.
And you have to tell me if it'sghost or not a ghost.
(54:11):
The lights flicker in yourliving room.
In my living room?
SPEAKER_04 (54:17):
Yeah.
It's not a ghost.
It's Dasher.
SPEAKER_06 (54:21):
I'll give you a
point for that one.
Not ghost.
Your roommate is blowing theirhair on the same circuit.
SPEAKER_04 (54:29):
Okay.
SPEAKER_06 (54:30):
Okay.
Now keep that answer and keepthat mentality going forward.
Okay.
Scenario 2.
Cold spot in your kitchen.
Ghost or not ghost?
A cold spot?
Yeah.
SPEAKER_04 (54:45):
Uh not ghost.
Why?
I don't know.
SPEAKER_06 (54:50):
I just don't know
why a cold spot would be a

And if you are a believer inJesus Christ, you have the light
of Christ in your life.
(56:16):
And the book of John, chapterone, the Gospel of John, chapter
one, it talks about Christ isthe light of men, and the light
has come into the world, and thedarkness cannot overtake it.
So just remember that if you'redealing with what seems to be a
haunting, take the authority youhave in Jesus and expose that
(56:39):
with the light.
