With episode 9 of The Sansei Traveler podcast, I return to letting you know about my favorites in a particular destination.
I have to say that one of my favorite cities in the US happens to be Seattle, Washington. Probably one of my kids will eventually end up in Seattle, either for school or work or bothWe’ve been going there for nearly 10 years, because my husband’s sister lives nearby, east of the city. My older daughter loves it there - so much that she's become a devoted Seahawks fan. My younger one might attend college at Seattle University next year.
Why do I love Seattle? It's a lot like my favorite city, San Francisco, although it's more spread out. I've gotten to know it over these last few years, and if my kids should happen to live there, I'll become even more familiar with the city. Seattle has great scenery, energy, and all the things you can do there, as well as the food options.
Here are some of my favorite restaurants:
And here are my favorite things to do
Olympic Sculpture Park and Waterfront Pathway
I also talk about Hawaii and cruising in my news segment, and preview my next episode - all about river cruising.
