Speaker 2 (00:09):
Hello pet enthusiasts
, welcome to the massive
multicast pet chat.
My name is Jason Zakowski.
Speaker 3 (00:18):
I'm the dog dad of
Bunsen and Beaker, the science
dogs, and my co-host is Hi there, I'm Chris Zakowski, and I am
the dog mum to Bunsen and Beakerand the cat mum to Ginger.
Speaker 2 (00:29):
Every week in pet
chat we share some stories about
Bunsen and Beaker.
We play a game and we also letthe audience participate by
sharing their own pet stories.
Speaker 3 (00:41):
Don't they
participate?
Speaker 2 (00:43):
Yeah, they do.
They participate.
So if you're listening onTwitter audio, all of the audio
is going to be funneled through.
My avatar, chris is here andshe can monitor the chat.
She can help bring people up.
I'm going to be monitoring thecomments that are coming through
, the comments that are comingin through some of the other
(01:04):
places.
We have another person that'sjoined Right there, yep.
Speaker 3 (01:10):
So Hi Kuno, hi
Chesney.
Speaker 2 (01:13):
Yeah, we have Kuno
and Chesney on live.
All right, Chris, do you wantto start?
Speaker 3 (01:18):
Has it been a busy
week.
Yeah, super busy it's been avery snowy week with a ton of
snow, and this is the time thatBunsen shines is when he gets to
go frolic in the snow.
But there's a bit of a catchnow We've created a monster, and
(01:40):
if I mean me.
Speaker 2 (01:42):
You've created the
monster.
Speaker 3 (01:44):
So Jason was taking
the dogs for a walk and usually
beaker is a bit of a challengebecause she wants to go dig, and
so Jason and I, when we gotogether, we kind of have to
corral her in and encourage herto go forward, which is awesome
and fun until she runs back upthe hill and then it's a bit of
(02:06):
a but Bunsen decided he wasn'tgoing to go.
I was thinking in the house, because now it's minus two, cold
for me.
I don't love it, don't lovethat temperature.
So I said I don't think I'mgoing to go today.
And Jason's like oh, are yousure?
I said yeah, it's too cold forme.
And so he took the dogs out andBunsen was doing these weird
(02:28):
spin moves, like he was spinningaround.
Yeah, he was like so happy andI'm like perfect, he's got his
cold weather boost.
But then he plopped down and hesat and he looked at you and he
looked at the house and helooked at you and he looked at
the house.
And I know this was happeningbecause I creep from the window,
I watch to see what's going on,to make sure that he goes
(02:52):
outside.
And he wasn't going to go.
He ran right back home.
Speaker 2 (02:57):
He wasn't going on
the walk, he was all done.
Speaker 3 (02:59):
And it happened two
days in a row.
And then the second day heguilted me.
You had to haul him up the hillwith a leash and you hauled him
up, and yeah, and then he's.
I watched him sit at the top ofthe hill.
I watched him.
He was looking and he wasn't,he wasn't going.
And then you finally got him togo, and what I did is I was
(03:22):
guilted, so I put my boots onand then I met you by going the
opposite way.
Speaker 2 (03:27):
Yeah, and when you do
that, that gives me a heart
attack every single time.
Yeah.
You are going through the woodswith the dogs and then all of a
sudden, another person randomlycomes out of the bushes and for
a second I'm like, oh my God,Sasquatch or something right he
took off.
Speaker 3 (03:44):
He took off and I was
like why did he run away?
Speaker 2 (03:49):
And then, of course,
it was you.
But every time you come out ofthe woodwork it gives me a heart
attack because I'm notexpecting you to come the other
way, because we do a loop andwith all of that snow it's
deadly silent out there, Like Idon't know if you've ever tried
to walk around during likesnowfall, but it is like eerily
(04:10):
quiet in the country Like youcan hear.
The only thing you can hear ismaybe traffic from the highway.
You can hear birds likerustling about in up in the
trees, like the our winter birdsthat serve.
You know, whatever they'redoing, they kind of survive.
So, yeah, All right.
So it looks like Chris has left, so I'll move on to.
(04:32):
I'll move on to my sharing I'll.
For the folks on watching live,it was another beaker snow pants
day, so I took the dogs I had avery busy day today and I took
them for a walk early and it wasreally cold and super snowy.
So I put on beaker snow pantsand she loves to wear them,
(04:53):
which is awesome and then wefound a nice spot to kind of
plunk down in the snow for arest, and it was.
That was kind of part of my dayright there, and one of the
cool things about those snowpants for beaker is that she she
bounds through the snow likeBunsen.
Sometimes she picks her pathwhen she starts to get cold,
(05:14):
like she doesn't want to be inthe snow too much.
And now with those snow pantsshe's almost invincible.
She is as impervious to thesnow as Bunsen is, because she
does have a long coat and Idon't think her body gets cold,
but her feet get cold and withthose snow pants she doesn't get
cold at all.
So that was that.
(05:35):
That was kind of my story.
And yes, Bunsen does have hiscold weather boost.
When Chris came out walkingthat one time, do you remember?
He was roaring around like acrazy person, Like he was
roaring up the hill and down thehill and chasing beaker Like he
was a puppy again.
So it's like the snow bringsout the best Bunsen.
Speaker 3 (05:57):
Well, you were
worried because it was quite
deep and we don't want him torip or tear his ACL at all.
Speaker 2 (06:03):
Yeah, he was injured
last winter when I went skiing,
was it last winter?
Yeah, we had way more snow lastwinter.
We have lots of snow now but, like for most of this winter,
we've had no snow.
And I was cross country skiingquite a bit and we went way out
into the depths of the forestand we had some really deep snow
(06:24):
and Bunsen, I think, smelledsomething interesting and he
tried to jump through like amassive field of snow up to his
head and all that jumping likelike that was his partial ACL
tear and then we had to baby himfor like two weeks to get him
all back to tip top shape.
So that's my story, chris.
(06:49):
Do you have anything elsebefore we move to community
sharing?
Speaker 3 (06:52):
Well, what can we
share about Ginger she's?
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (06:56):
She fights with
beaker.
Speaker 3 (06:59):
Yeah, she's trolling
it up, she's trolling the hard
core, yeah, so today I was inthe kitchen and it's like I am
Giselle, all the animals arecoming, and Ginger was on the
chair just doing a ginger poseand beaker came by and ginger's
like just like that, andbeaker's like, and then ginger's
(07:24):
like again.
Speaker 2 (07:26):
Chris, people can't
see what you're doing on audio.
Speaker 3 (07:30):
So ginger was laying
like the Titanic.
Kate Winslet saying paint melike all your French girls
reference to the movie.
And then beaker walked by andthen slow mo, ginger's paw came
forward and she was like tap onbeaker.
And beaker didn't really reactuntil ginger did it two or three
(07:54):
times and then beaker's like no, I don't think, so I'm going to
bark at you and then go sit bymy mom.
Speaker 2 (08:01):
Yeah, usually beaker
gives ginger a couple, three
passes on the swats before itbecomes an issue.
Speaker 3 (08:09):
Oh, do you want to
talk about early time?
Early time all week?
Speaker 2 (08:13):
You can talk about
early time, because you have to
deal with early time.
Speaker 3 (08:17):
Early time is Bunsen,
for a few times this week, has
decided that 4, 4, 20 is a goodtime to be awake In the morning
also be awake, yeah.
And then I was smart, I tookthem out late last night and I'm
like, oh, it's going to beglorious, there's going to be no
issues, they're, they've goneto the bathroom, it's going to
(08:40):
be great.
No, no.
So then early time was gingersitting in front of the door to
the bedroom and beaker must havegone out to do something.
I don't know why she left.
This is her fault, her fault.
She left, and when she?
So now she's trying to get backin and she cannot get in
because ginger's like in frontof the door.
(09:01):
So now she's barking, bark, bark, bark, bark, bark, bark,
bark, bark.
And I'm like, oh, ginger, beaker, move ginger to let be
her in.
And so if I get up, then gingerwill like oh, okay, I guess I'm
going to come in there.
But Bunsen was in our room forsome inexplicable reasons.
Now he's awake, he's awake, oh,it's time to wake up.
(09:23):
Oh, okay.
And then, um, so he was crying,so that happened.
Speaker 2 (09:30):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (09:31):
It was early time
again on Saturday morning for me
.
Speaker 2 (09:35):
Yeah, chris gets up
with them, because I have a hard
time falling back asleep andChris just falls immediately
back to sleep.
Speaker 3 (09:41):
All you have to do,
jason, is close your eyes.
Speaker 2 (09:44):
No, it doesn't work
that way.
Speaker 3 (09:45):
You just go.
Oh hi, puppy, I mean, it'sgoing to rub you with one hand.
Yes, you can rub Bunsen withone hand.
If your finger is touching histoe, he's totally fine.
He's a weirdo, yeah.
And then, um, eventually hefalls back to sleep and I'm
already asleep.
Before he's asleep, I have todangle my hand, it's fine.
Speaker 2 (10:13):
All right, should we
move to community sharing?
Speaker 3 (10:16):
Absolutely.
Speaker 2 (10:17):
All right.
So if you're watching um,that's when you see the best
stars, that's true, diane iscorrect from Facebook.
So if you're watching onFacebook or Instagram or Twitter
live, you can make a commentand I'll try to.
We'll try to get to it.
If you would like to uh, rerequest the mic on spaces, chris
(10:39):
will organize that and ofcourse, we do double check
profiles to make sure um, thefolks coming up to speak are,
you know, not trolls, and and wehaven't had any troll comments.
But I mean, that's pretty easyfor me to ignore those and
delete them.
So, uh.
So, chris, go ahead and getsome folks up.
Oh, looks like you have already.
Speaker 3 (11:00):
I have Jason.
I've been working behind thescenes here.
Um so we'll start with rich andthen we'll go to Jen.
Hi Rich, hi Rich.
Speaker 2 (11:11):
How you guys doing
Congratulations on your daughter
with the uh, with, was itcurling?
Uh, no, five pen bowling, fivepen bowling Congratulations.
That's very exciting.
Speaker 8 (11:22):
He has two official
medals, uh, one team silver and
one individual bronze.
I'll be quite honest, we didn'texpect her to actually come
home with any.
Uh, we were just hoping thatshe'd have a good time and make
friends and uh, all that sort ofstuff.
(11:42):
And uh, she's coming home withtwo medals, so we're pleased.
Her didn't punch, can't?
Um, I'm almost speechless overit, and if you've ever listened
to the show when I'm talking, you know that doesn't happen
very often.
Speaker 2 (11:53):
That just tells us
how proud you are.
So congratulations, Rich.
Thank you.
Speaker 8 (11:59):
Um, dogs, cats and
early mornings yes, that sounds
familiar.
Yeah, um, couple of thingshappened in our household.
Um one is our.
Calico, who Bayden is deathlyafraid of, will sit at the
bottom of the stairs and he willwant to come up the stairs but
(12:24):
he's too scared to go by thislittle 10 pound cat, and so
you'll hear this most mournfulhowl from the bottom of the
stairs, and so somebody has togo escort him past the cat.
Oh man.
The other thing which happensis through the summer I'm up at
(12:47):
about, if I'm working, I'm up atabout four o'clock through the
week, which is about dawn, okay, and he figures that's great,
because I get up, I make acoffee, I feed him.
The cats are happy because theyget fed too.
The problem is, how do youreset a Labrador on weekends?
Speaker 2 (13:11):
Well, you can't,
because their whole life
revolves around food.
Right, exactly.
Speaker 8 (13:17):
I'm lying, I'm doing
my ones.
I get two mornings to sleep in,saturdays and Sundays when I
can, and I mean honestly, eighto'clock is the sleep in, but no
dawn birds and Labrador, okay.
So that's my story and that'smy tale about trying to sleep in
(13:40):
with a lab and, like you, jason, I get up, I'm awake.
There's nothing I can do aboutit.
Speaker 2 (13:45):
Yeah, I can't fall
back asleep.
If I was the one to get up withhim, I would just be like well,
today my day has started at4.30 in the morning.
Yeah.
Speaker 8 (13:56):
Yeah, and I think it
was.
Donna, how's your car gettingalong with the vets?
Speaker 2 (14:03):
I don't know if
Donna's up to speak.
She'll have to drop a commentor come up a little later.
What was your question, Rich?
I didn't hear that.
What was your question?
Speaker 8 (14:14):
She you were talking
about cats or animals and vets
and she said that her car wasscared of going to the vet till
they made friends.
Speaker 2 (14:24):
Oh, okay, I don't
know about that.
I don't know, I don't know whatthe story is there.
That's, that's a tweet.
Oh, okay, I'll have to gobackwards through all that.
I think it was Donna.
Okay, well, trust you, we'lltrust you.
Well, thanks, rich, and thanksfor popping in.
I know it's been a busy monthfor you, so appreciate it.
(14:45):
We'll go to Jen and then we'llgo to Marla, if Marla wants to
speak on live, and then toTerrence.
So if everybody can, kind ofwill hold to that order.
So we'll go to Jen on audio.
Speaker 4 (15:01):
Oh hi, kristen Jason,
hello, hey, couple, hey, couple
quick things.
So this storm that's goingthrough, it's wild.
Are you?
Is it done in your neck of thewoods?
We're supposed to get 40centimeters in Saskatoon.
Speaker 2 (15:16):
It is snowed for two
days straight without stopping,
like no lie.
Yeah, I know, it's stillsnowing.
Speaker 4 (15:22):
Yeah, yeah, I've
shoveled three times and it
didn't help.
Yeah, Chris's.
Speaker 2 (15:30):
Chris's face looks
pretty good, like I thought she
would be very upset about thisweather.
She's putting on a good showfor the live.
Speaker 4 (15:40):
You know what, though
?
We need the moisture.
Speaker 2 (15:43):
Oh yeah.
Speaker 4 (15:44):
Save us, like from
another forest fire summer.
So that's a good thing.
So, second thing, thanks forthe posts of the Newfoundlander.
Oh, I did not know they couldbe that cute or whatever.
That small, but what anadorable puppy.
And you know, I've knownsomeone with the Newfoundlander
and they're the nicest dogs andif you know, they would love
(16:08):
that area that you guys have, you know, all that place to run
around.
So just saying, and you knowwhat my cat person is, one cute
dog, oh, new feet.
Speaker 2 (16:22):
All puppies are
adorable, right, but the bigger
you have, like the big, bigbreeds, bernice Mountain Dogs
and Great Danes and St Bernard's, and new fees, they are just
heart meltingly adorable.
Speaker 4 (16:37):
But even as big dogs
they're cute and they're
adorable and they're furry and Idon't know.
They're just my type of dog.
So just saying, and I'll stop.
Speaker 3 (16:48):
They're drooling.
Speaker 2 (16:50):
That is true, they
are drooling All dogs drool.
Speaker 4 (16:52):
That's why I'm a cat
person.
But but these are.
That would be a dog.
I would tolerate it really long.
Speaker 2 (16:59):
I would carry around,
I'd carry around something to
wipe up the drool.
Yeah, I don't, I don't think Idon't think Chris is going to go
for it yet, but I think I thinkyou would agree, chris, that
that puppy picture that I postedand been sending you is pretty
cute.
It's a pretty cute puppy.
Speaker 3 (17:16):
They are, they are
cute.
One of them is a bit of.
One of them is a bit of red ofred flag, because the grass in
the background is bright, green,I'm just getting random photos
to break you down, chris.
Speaker 2 (17:32):
It's not like some of
those dogs don't exist, they
just exist.
On that I've stolen off socialmedia to show you I'm not.
I'm not posting, I'm notstealing people's content and
posting it with Bunsen andBeaker, Just to be clear.
I am stealing people's contentand and emailing it or texting
Chris to try and get in our dog.
I don't know if that makes itbetter.
(17:53):
Does that, does that?
I don't know if that makes itbetter, so funny.
Speaker 4 (17:59):
Anyway, beautiful dog
.
Yeah so thanks for letting mestay warm and and hope you don't
get any more snow ish, I don'tknow.
Speaker 2 (18:09):
I don't know how much
more can snow.
This is the longest snowed allwinter.
Speaker 4 (18:13):
We're going to put 40
centimeters here.
Someone is actually someone inthe middle of the road and put
some little flag or something up.
You know, and we're only in thefirst, I guess, six hours of it
, so we'll see where that goes.
Speaker 8 (18:28):
Anyway, thanks Okay.
Speaker 2 (18:33):
Marla, did you want
to?
Did you want to speak or do youwant me to go to somebody else?
You are not.
You're not required to speak, but you're on live here with us,
with Kuno and Chesney.
Speaker 7 (18:41):
You say that and I
just want to bark.
Speaker 2 (18:45):
Marla, speak, no, if
you would like to speak.
If you'd like to speak.
If you'd like to.
Speaker 7 (18:54):
We can share real
quick.
We're actually desensitizingheadgear with Chesney this
weekend.
Oh my God, the goggles.
They're not a requirement thatshe needs often, but sometimes
you go into environments thatmight be a little bit bright or
things might be splashing around, so we like to desensitize the
(19:14):
dogs to the goggles so that ifwe end up in that environment
it's not a oh my goodness, whatis this on my face?
Speaker 2 (19:22):
That's such a good
idea.
We like to be prepared.
Speaker 7 (19:26):
It's our.
You know, dog, scout kind ofthing.
Always be prepared.
Speaker 2 (19:31):
Yeah.
Speaker 7 (19:33):
Other than that, we
had vaccinations this week.
Speaker 2 (19:38):
I saw the vet photos.
I saw.
Speaker 7 (19:41):
And the vet is always
fun.
We did a big post on the vetand making friends with the vet
and why that's so important.
My own thought on that isthere's going to be times when I
can't be there with the dog, whether it's an invasive
procedure, or even if I am thereand it's something really
stressful.
If the dogs think of the vet asthe fun place, the happy place,
(20:05):
then it's so much easier and Iwould hate to think that, like
our last memories with the dog, they'd be stressed because
they're at the vet clinic.
So I'm one of those people thatputs a lot of work into that.
We do a lot of extra vet visitswhen we don't have to go to the
vet just to pop in, say hi,have a cookie, and leave and
(20:27):
always keep it fun.
So, yeah, we did vaccinationsand now the snow is here and I'm
super not happy.
So you know, I find otherthings.
Speaker 2 (20:43):
Has it been snowing
like for like it snowed for us
for two days straight, like itstarted early Friday morning and
hasn't stopped.
Has it been the same for you?
Speaker 7 (20:55):
Well, we have that
big dump of snow last weekend
and then it sort of settled downand then it's just kind of been
this steady light snow a littlebit yesterday and then all day
today, and anywhere that wasn'tcleared really well before is
now just yucky and it's cold andit's blowing in your face and
(21:19):
it's.
It's not fun snow and I mean Iget Kevin fever really really
fast.
And because I'm kind of limitedto the cleared sidewalks or the
not very deep places, findingfun snow outdoors for the dogs
is always a challenge.
Sometimes we wait until likemidnight and we go down the
(21:44):
sidewalk to the clearing andeven though it's not an off
leash area, it's midnight, there's nobody there.
We take the leash off, theyhave a quick run around and I
mean they have super solidrecall or that would not be a
thing, just so that they can getthat playtime.
Otherwise, like on the dog walk, I've got my handful of freeze
dried liver and I just toss itin and they leap into the pile
(22:07):
and go snuffle through it andsniff out the liver Something so
that they can get a little bitof enrichment in it.
But I'm hoping that thisdoesn't.
It's supposed to snow all daytomorrow too.
Speaker 2 (22:23):
It's a lot of snow.
Speaker 7 (22:25):
It is, and I mean it
was so good for all winter and
now it kind of we knew itcouldn't last.
We knew that and it's cold Likeyeah, it was.
Speaker 2 (22:39):
What was it?
Speaker 7 (22:39):
on Tuesday it was
minus 32, with the wind, which
is like that's pretty cold forend of February, honestly so it
is, and so you know, you throwthe boots on the dog and I put
on, like seriously, like 16layers of clothing it's this
ridiculous amount of layers ofclothing and yeah, I come inside
(23:03):
and I'm just like this giantsnowball on wheels beside a dog
and then it takes like 15minutes for all the snow to melt
off the bottom of my wheelchair.
So I have wet, dirty, grungyfloors and, yeah, this is not a
fun week.
So we have to find other waysto make it fun, like make dogs
(23:24):
wear goggles.
Speaker 2 (23:27):
That is a fun way to
pass the time, at least for us,
and I think there's treatsinvolved, so it's good for the
dogs too.
Speaker 7 (23:34):
Yeah, that's the
whole desensitization thing.
I can do anything, because itinvolves food.
Speaker 2 (23:40):
Yeah, we did the same
thing with Bunsen and Beaker.
They don't wear the goggles foras long but, like Bunsen, super
desensitized to them because hegot treats every time he wore
them and he's like, oh, thesearen't so bad.
Exactly, this is the treatgoggles.
Speaker 7 (23:55):
The fact that you do
that.
I mean that's, I recommend thatso much with the snow boots too
, like, don't wait until youabsolutely need them and put
them on the dog, start in thefall and put them on for a
minute.
Don't even put them on, justlike you know.
Let the dog sniff, give akibble, give another kibble and
it gets better.
(24:15):
Anyhow, that's it for us.
Go back to the happy people.
We need entertainment thisevening.
You guys are better than cable.
Speaker 2 (24:27):
We've heard that
before, that you never know what
happens in this hour show, andit's probably better than
anything that's on TV.
So there you go.
Speaker 7 (24:35):
Very much.
Speaker 2 (24:36):
Thanks, Marla.
Hey, I just want to give ashout out before I forget,
because I always forget.
But Indra is here.
Chris, Did you see you inspaces?
Speaker 3 (24:44):
I did.
Speaker 2 (24:46):
Yeah, so Indra is our
partner and she runs amazing
spaces on positivity, wellnessand all of the whole kind of
like being in the now type typeconversations.
Anyways, great spaces, andshe's also our partner.
So just a hello to Indra.
Thank you for coming to space, our space tonight.
So Terrence has been waiting.
(25:06):
We'll go to Terrence and thenTracy and then Ted.
So Terrence, thanks for waiting, Hello.
Speaker 5 (25:14):
Hey, all you guys.
It's all really good vibes here.
I love the vibes Great show.
I just wanted to add, you know,a couple things.
One I put a dog door in and abig, big fence in the area.
I put a fence and I live out inthe country and it was all
(25:35):
because of the coyotes.
I didn't want to get any.
This is too much.
Always letting my dogs out, yeah, Finally, after a year they
hear the coyotes and it's arace, and I hope the coyotes
don't come around right nowbecause it's so loud.
But I got four dogs and it'sjust, it's hilarious, it's
(25:59):
really, it's just so how theychase them away because they're
a pack, right?
Speaker 2 (26:06):
Yeah, Well what kind
of dogs do you have, terrence?
I don't think we've ever spoken, so I mean we'd love to know
more about your dogs.
Speaker 5 (26:13):
Oh sure, I got four
staff of Shires.
I put a picture in the lowerbubble, oh sure, okay, yeah, I
already did.
Sorry, ginger, buddy jersey andchamp that's my dog.
So I got four.
They're all from.
The father was champ and therewas nine babies and I actually
(26:37):
hand delivered them because themother was like two week.
I guess she was okay for thefirst two, but then she just she
just laid there and she's.
So I brought them all to her,put her in front of them.
It was a spectacular thing togo through.
I haven't done that since I waskid.
Wow, yeah.
So I love my dogs.
So I kept three of them.
They are all different colors.
(26:58):
It was hard to pick which one.
Speaker 2 (27:01):
I see that we put the
picture up in the nest for
people to take a look at.
The other all different colors.
That's why.
Speaker 5 (27:07):
Yeah, thanks.
And the other thing I just fortwo years I've been on this.
Well, I'm an interer in healingand all the good stuff in the
world and I come across some, some stuff that's I've been
sharing for two years and it'sit's mullin.
The plant is called mullin anda year ago my I kept noticing
(27:33):
every year or twice a year, myone dog always gets wheezing and
sneezing and you know, so it's.
It's an allergy type thing.
It always seems to be when I'mgetting my allergies.
Well, when I was researching alittle deeper after a couple of
years into the mullin becausesomebody asked me something and
I found that it's okay to givemullin to your pets and it's
(27:57):
totally safe and any mammal canhave it and what it does is it
clears their lungs and cleansbad mucous out and makes their
lungs stronger.
Well, I gave some to my one dogthe only one dog has this
allergy and sure enough itworked.
Within five minutes he stoppedsneezing.
(28:18):
I didn't see him sneeze forthree days, worked for three
days and then I just startedgiving it to him twice a week
and it's really helped him a lot.
I haven't heard him sneeze atall and he would get into these
really bad fits and my friendswould be gone and say okay, all
the time, maybe I need to takethat, chris, because I sneeze
(28:40):
every morning like about fivetimes.
Oh yeah, you take it.
It's really good you read aboutit.
You won't not take it.
You can pick it out of your onyour walks.
That's the best place to pickit.
Learn how to pick it yourself, and I just wanted to share that
(29:00):
with you.
And if you got any other thingsI love, I'll be back on again.
Speaker 2 (29:06):
Well, thanks.
Thanks, terrence.
I do remember Mullen from mylike I have, I have a.
Oh, marla was talking.
Oh, I'm sorry, I thought it wasTracy and then Tracy was
talking.
I just muted Tracy's micbecause I think it came on by
accident, chris.
Oh no, it's okay, Tracy, yeahall good.
(29:29):
And just to wrap up, terrence, that's interesting about Mullen.
I did know about it and thatwas it was a thing for eczema
Cause there's a couple of kidsI've taught in the past that
have used, or they like theyhave really bad eczema and then,
you know, I was just chattingwith them and then they
mentioned that.
So yeah, okay, cool, coolinformation.
(29:51):
Okay.
So yeah, tracy, go ahead, tracy, and then we'll get Ted up here
, ted drop down.
So go ahead, tracy.
Hi guys, hi, hi, how are youguys doing?
We are good.
We hope you're well.
Speaker 11 (30:06):
Yeah, I'm doing well
Just here with Ricky.
He just uses scratcher like agood boy and so maybe he won't
go on the couch as much, cause Ihad a using scratchers before
but then I guess it wasn't fancyenough for him.
(30:27):
But my sister found him outlike a really nice scratcher on
sale and he likes to use that.
So he's just a particular boy,but not too much going on with
us.
He's just like sleeping by me alot at night and then he'll
(30:50):
want to like sleep under thecovers.
And he's still getting to ashenanigans and jumping on the
counter.
Speaker 2 (30:59):
So when you're
sleeping, does Ricky bite you
Like?
Does he playfully bite you,tracy?
Speaker 11 (31:07):
No only like if I
move my hands under the covers,
like when he was on top of thecovers, but you're like I don't
know, but like doing that kindof hand play yeah, yeah, like I
heard, isn't that great because, like, they might just want to
like attack your hands whenthey're not Okay, but so, but
(31:29):
yeah, he doesn't really, youknow, do any play bites unless
he wants attention and he's notgetting it fast enough, so, like
when I'm sleeping, just likerandomly during the day
sometimes.
Speaker 2 (31:44):
I ask because I Asked
, because ginger has been known
to Bite my toes during the night.
Speaker 11 (31:52):
Oh, yeah, I think,
because I have them.
Well, no, he doesn't do that.
I was like, oh, sometimes alower socks, but sometimes I
won't.
So but yeah, he doesn't seem todo that, which is good.
Speaker 3 (32:05):
Tracy, are you six?
And if you're six foot three?
You're hanging off the end ofthe bed and I think that's why
you're eating toes.
So if you're not six foot three, I'm not sure if Ricky would
have the opportunity.
Speaker 2 (32:22):
Hey, it's not my
fault, I'm that tall.
Speaker 11 (32:25):
Unless he did it
while he was like sleeping under
the covers.
I just went down there andprompt.
Speaker 2 (32:31):
I don't know what
happened.
I wake up and ginger is like Ijust about kick the cat.
Speaker 11 (32:36):
I have to be careful
because actually hitting my cup
of times last night.
Yeah, I still slept by me.
So I'm like, okay, ricky, that's nice.
Speaker 2 (32:44):
Yeah, the last thing
I want to do is hurt that little
cat, but I mean, she was bitingmy toes, so See any Zola videos
any what sorry.
Speaker 11 (32:56):
Any of the snaps
with Zola in them?
Oh yes, she looks very cute andshe looks like she'll be a
Small miscreant, so I'll have toget used to better.
I can teach her the ways.
Speaker 2 (33:11):
I'm just happy for
them.
Speaker 11 (33:13):
I'm just happy block
might lose it if he has two
people, two dogs, going afterhis shark.
Speaker 1 (33:17):
But We'll see.
Speaker 2 (33:20):
Oh, I can't.
I have to.
Every time I see their puppies,it's just like we could I, I
just want another puppy.
So I mean, I'll just keepworking on Chris.
Speaker 11 (33:32):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (33:33):
Chris.
Speaker 11 (33:34):
Oh sorry, tracy, go
ahead like even just seeing like
Zola reacting to hops and Justhearing about how Jen would talk
about hops, I don't know.
I think it's pretty easy towear and go down there.
Speaker 2 (33:50):
I don't think in goes
the boss of that house.
Let's just get that straight,hmm.
Speaker 11 (33:54):
Yes.
Speaker 2 (33:56):
Beading, doesn't he
say?
Jen is always right, so yeah, sorry, I'm gonna go to Chris
first because she was trying tospeak, and then we'll go to rich
, who's got his hand up.
Chris, you were sayingsomething, but you were muted, I
think I.
Speaker 3 (34:08):
Don't remember, so
we'll go to rich and be okay,
rich, go ahead.
Speaker 8 (34:14):
Can you hear me?
Speaker 2 (34:14):
Yeah.
Speaker 8 (34:16):
One of our cats who's
the rescue from the firm.
If my toes aren't completelycovered, in the bottom of the
bed I will find 20 little fishhooks embedded in.
I'm not six, three, I'm onlyabout six foot, but sometimes my
(34:40):
beloved will grab all theblankets off my toes.
Speaker 2 (34:43):
Oh yeah, okay, that's
common, that's.
That seems to happen in ourhouse too, so you need that for
shielding from little cats.
Yes, thanks, rich.
Okay, we'll go to Ted.
Ted, thanks for waiting, andthen we'll go to Raul.
Ted.
Hello, welcome back to pet chat.
Go ahead, ted.
(35:09):
Oh.
Speaker 6 (35:11):
Yeah, do you have me
there?
Yeah, I got you Ted.
Speaker 2 (35:13):
I got you, ted.
Welcome, hello.
Speaker 6 (35:15):
Thank you, good to
speak with you folks again.
Yeah Well, this the story is.
The story goes back a decadenow when we still had our whole
herd of Australian shepherds.
Oh man, and we would travelwith them if we were in Alto New
Mexico, and Because of thenumber of dogs we had, I would
only take a few of them out towalk at a time, so I would take
(35:36):
three on the first run and thenI take the other three.
Yes, we actually traveled withsix Australian shepherds.
Oh, my goodness.
We had them in the back of a2003 Honda Odyssey that my wife
bought specifically so we couldtravel with them.
And we traveled with themeverywhere.
So winter time or winter timeearly December in Alto, in a
(36:01):
small rental home in the Hills, gorgeous scenery, wildlife
everywhere, not too worried perse, but on the walk we're
rounding a bend in the name.
Speaker 2 (36:15):
Oh, we lost you, ted.
Speaker 6 (36:17):
I Think we just lost
them.
Lost you, ted, okay.
Speaker 2 (36:23):
Are you back?
Yeah, I think so.
Okay, let's try.
I heard you say rounding the,and then you cut, cut out.
Speaker 6 (36:30):
Okay, let's try that
again.
Rounding the bend on the on theneighborhood and Something
lifted up from one of the yardsand, to be honest with you, I
wasn't sure what it was at thetime.
It turned out to be a bull man,a bull elk and his little harem
.
Oh man sitting amongst the rocksand the trees of this
(36:52):
Magnificent mansion like home.
They look like large, lumpyboulders or landscape.
When we came around the cornerand all of a sudden he stood up,
and my lead dog stood up at thesame time on his hind legs, and
I thought this was going to bea very unpleasant end to a
beautiful vacation.
Oh my god, and I don't know howwe corrupt I corralled them
very quietly, we snuck down theside of the hill and fortunately
(37:14):
the elk didn't go any furtherthan the edge of the yard.
Okay, that was an interestingwalk back, I'll tell you.
And, yeah, interesting, interesting times, but we love
traveling with them.
We took them all over Idaho youname it, montana, up in the
central.
Speaker 2 (37:35):
Lost you again.
Ted up through the central.
Yeah, idaho the central, andthen nothing so I mean, if Ted
can have six dogs, we can haveone more, right, chris?
That works out that way.
Six divided by three is what, chris?
Oh, we lost you.
(37:56):
We lost you, ted, so we'll haveto come back to you, if that's
okay.
Oh, we lost Raul.
Raul is gonna talk aboutSomething, something in Africa,
he said.
Okay, okay, sorry I don't knowwhat dead time.
Okay, do you want me to do alittle little promo and then
we'll do something else?
(38:16):
I'm okay.
Do you want me to do a littlelittle promo and then we'll do
some wrap-up?
Speaker 3 (38:22):
Sure, just checking
to see that we yeah.
Speaker 2 (38:26):
Richard, can you guys
hear us if we lose all audio?
Can everybody hear us?
I?
Speaker 8 (38:31):
Can hear you five by
five.
Speaker 2 (38:33):
Okay, so we're good,
okay, we're good, then it was
just.
It was just Ted, then.
Okay, so just a couple thingsto mention.
Speaker 5 (38:40):
I'm just gonna go in
and had his hand up, but it fell
down.
Oh oh, who had his?
Speaker 2 (38:45):
hand up Brandon
Beaton.
Speaker 5 (38:51):
Sorry for butchering
the name.
Speaker 2 (38:55):
Rich, did you?
Did you have a question orcomment?
Speaker 8 (38:59):
Just a comment on
multiple dogs my below I keep
trying to get.
I want one of each colorLabrador oh yeah, look smart.
I'm a wife says, anthony, and Iquote, I have three cats, one
dog and one husband, and that'senough for any woman.
Speaker 2 (39:20):
I don't know what.
I guess, if I would, if Iwasn't such an, a bigger rang, a
tang, maybe we would have moreroom in the house.
Anyways, oh on your side.
Chris has the camera on Bunsen.
What is Bunsen eating?
Speaker 3 (39:34):
Chris, it's a bully
stick that's the two that I
bought today.
Speaker 2 (39:41):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (39:42):
Don't tell quiet he
is.
Speaker 2 (39:44):
Yeah, he is very
quiet.
Okay, well, we'll go to Donna.
I'll do my promo at the end.
I'll do the promo stuff at theend.
We have somebody that canDonna's here to speak, so go
ahead, donna.
Speaker 1 (39:56):
I'm just responding
to Rich's comment earlier about
my car going to the bed.
Speaker 2 (40:01):
Okay, I missed it.
What's the story there?
I have no idea what's going on.
Speaker 1 (40:05):
Marla Kuno posted the
the post that Marla was talking
about earlier, about how to youknow, take your pets to the vet
and make sure it's not a scaryenvironment for them, and you
know everybody's kind ofresponding about you know they
have great vets, blah, blah,blah.
(40:25):
And Well, I tried to tell astory.
I once had a cat that wasterrified of the vet.
I mean, really hated going tothe vet, and it came out as car,
even though I say cat threetimes in the rest of the post,
but the first part was a car.
Speaker 2 (40:42):
Oh is a typo.
Speaker 8 (40:46):
Oh, and you know what
I picked up on I.
Speaker 2 (40:50):
Don't.
Oh, did we lose Donna?
Are you there, donna?
Oh man, what?
What is going on with the audio?
Donna, are you back?
Oh, we didn't hear.
I didn't hear you.
Speaker 1 (41:05):
Yeah, it's so weird,
I don't know.
I think there's a poltergeistsolar flares because In Texas,
in Dallas, the other day we were90 degrees Fahrenheit and then
we went down the 33 degreesFahrenheit for three straight
days and now it's 85, so I don'tknow what's going on.
(41:25):
We're getting ready for thesolar eclipse.
That's where you can watch it,by the way, if y'all want to
come visit me in Dallas.
Speaker 2 (41:32):
We are thinking about
.
Yeah, chris and I are gonna betalking.
We are gonna go see the eclipseand One of the top locations is
Texas, so we might have to talkin the DMs about that.
Speaker 3 (41:44):
Donna, are you safe
from fire, though, from the
fires that are happening inTexas?
Speaker 2 (41:50):
Texas is really big,
chris.
I know, but I Think I thinkDonna's having audio issues.
Speaker 1 (41:58):
Oh, oh, I think it's
no, can you hear me?
Speaker 2 (42:02):
Yeah, I can hear you
oh.
Speaker 1 (42:04):
Yeah, it's really far
away.
It's about Six hours by car, sobut it's devastating out there
because everybody's cost of beefis about to go through the roof
, with all the heads of cattlethat were just lost.
It's terrible and pray for thepeople of California too,
because they're getting Feet ofsnow overnight, not just inches,
(42:25):
feats.
It's crazy.
The weather's nuts Um, but welost.
Speaker 2 (42:36):
We lost Donna again.
I think it's intermittent.
Speaker 8 (42:43):
Have you ever seen a
total eclipse?
Jason?
Speaker 2 (42:46):
Donna, we lost you, I
apologize.
And then no worries.
And then rich asked a question.
I have not, in my entire life Ihave not seen a total eclipse
where we live.
We will never see one.
Just we will never, ever seeone.
There will never be a totaleclipse over Alberta, so we have
to go to see one.
Speaker 8 (43:05):
I've oh I was, I've
seen two, no, sorry, a few
parcels and one total when I wasa kid in PEI.
Speaker 2 (43:16):
Yeah, the total one
was a while ago.
You would have been a small boy, probably, I.
Speaker 8 (43:21):
Think ten or eleven.
Speaker 9 (43:22):
Yeah, everyone's

Yeah, okay, if English is ayeah, if English is a problem,
we we can wait for you to try.
Speaker 9 (45:04):

Speaker 9 (45:12):

Speaker 3 (45:18):

big state but it's beautiful.
I live there for a year and ahalf and I hope everything gets

That's all they really wantedto say.
So we're thinking of you.
Speaker 2 (50:44):
Thanks, jen Rich, to
you.
Go ahead.
Speaker 8 (50:48):
I was just going to
say, from what I remember of the
eclipse, it was really cool, ohright, yeah.
It got really dusky and all thebirds started to roost.
And you know, it got like itwould just at night.
The birds were roosting, everything got quiet and then it
(51:08):
got really dark and at thatpoint we could safely look at
the sun because it was totality.
I was at a friend's place.
His dad is a agriculturecandidate scientist, so he was
really cautious about what we do.
And then everything reversedand the birds all, like all the
(51:32):
animals are like wait a minute,I just fell asleep.
What happened?
Speaker 2 (51:35):
That's so confusing
to them.
Speaker 8 (51:37):
Yeah, and Tina,
please go ahead.
I'll just thought that was kindof cool to share.

The snow plows are just nowrunning, but the dons are having
a blast and little miss LizaManelli, who never goes in the
snow, went in the snow.
(52:12):
I'm proud of her for beingbrave.
My other big pet news is I madeanother cat.
Tori Amos is all clear of hersymptoms from the Khaleesi virus
.
I suspect she's a carrierbecause she's been sick pretty
much her whole life, but I'mwell equipped to handle that.
She will have a formalrespiratory panel on the 14th.
(52:35):
We'd like to wait at least twoweeks after stopping treatment
just to check for a relapse.
But that'll also let us know ifshe's a carrier and she is
going to stay with us.
She doesn't hate me for puttingher through all the trauma of
the most awful medications inthe world.
(52:55):
And she's a.
She's been bounced around somuch.
She's officially a permanentherd member.
Speaker 2 (53:01):
Oh, that's wonderful.
Is that one of your latestposts?
Team.
Yes, I think there's a Lizabeing on the loose is with that,
is that no, yeah that's Liza.
Yeah.
Speaker 10 (53:12):
And then go down a
little bit, okay, and you'll see
Tori jumping up and giving me ahug.
Speaker 2 (53:19):
Callico Hello, saying
hello to the girl.
Is that Callico?
Hello, right there.

Speaker 10 (53:26):
Isn't she me yeah?
Speaker 2 (53:27):
that's a needle
looking cat.
Speaker 10 (53:29):
Yeah, thanks,
another ginger ish.
Speaking of issues, do we havea new fee?
Puppy update.
Speaker 2 (53:40):
The new fee puppy
update is a comment.
Oh, I know, wasn't that one sosweet?
Speaker 10 (53:47):
Oh my gosh, I know
yesterday or maybe whatever day
that you started texting puppiesevery five hours to Chris.
I did a search.
There are no rescue new fees inthe entire United States, but I
have an alert set in case onecomes up, I'll meet you at the
border.
Chris will never know, it'll beperfect.
Speaker 2 (54:09):
That's right, I'll.
We'll have to trick her intotaking the van, though that's
the yeah, I'll just say.
I'll just say I'm getting newfurniture or something.
Perfect, chris is shaking yourhead.
Speaker 3 (54:21):
Yeah, that probably
went.
Speaker 2 (54:23):
Yeah, new coffee
table.
Speaker 10 (54:26):
Yeah, oh my gosh,
now you have to name it coffee
table.
Speaker 2 (54:34):
People have many
opinions on if we do.
You know, I don't.
I don't want to get people'shopes up, but like what the name
on another dog would be.
Speaker 10 (54:42):
You have one in the
mix that was some sort of I like
.
Speaker 2 (54:50):
I like Beryl because
it would be Barry for short.
Speaker 10 (54:54):
Oh my gosh.
Speaker 2 (54:55):
Yeah, barry, barry,
beryllium yeah.
And it starts with a, b and itstarts with a, b and it's a
friend yeah.
It's a, it's a.
It's an element on the periodictable.
Speaker 10 (55:06):
Yeah, okay, well
then, that's settled.
Speaker 2 (55:09):
Element three All
right Gossip to the van.
Speaker 3 (55:13):
I guess compromise is
0% 100%.
Speaker 2 (55:18):
Sometimes compromise
is 0%, 100% Chris sometimes it
is.
Speaker 3 (55:22):
This will be three
dogs in a row.
Speaker 2 (55:24):
Well, sometimes dogs
are zero.
Speaker 4 (55:28):
Well, I take, ginger
takes one, what about three
turtles?
Speaker 2 (55:32):
What about the two
turtles and ginger?
So we're equal.
Speaker 3 (55:35):
What are you talking
about?
Speaker 2 (55:36):
Two turtles.
Speaker 4 (55:42):
And the turtles are.
Speaker 3 (55:43):
Timmy, mr T and Timmy
, and we call them Carl and or
Sagan.
Speaker 2 (55:46):
Yeah, but you didn't
know which one was which,
because they look the same.
Speaker 3 (55:50):
There's mean turtle
and nice turtle.
Speaker 2 (55:51):
I know you wanted to
call them mean turtle and nice
turtle.
You actually had a differentname for.
You actually had a differentname for mean turtle, which we
can't utter here on a live PGspace.
So no.
Okay, tim, thanks for theupdate.
Are you, did you get every?
Did you did you do?
Is your update okay?
Can we go to somebody?
Speaker 10 (56:11):
else.
Yeah, I think my update is goodand we should go to the next
speaker.
Speaker 2 (56:15):
Thanks Tim.
Speaker 10 (56:16):
All right, Take care
everybody.
Speaker 2 (56:17):
You betcha Hi Paula,
You're next and we've got Kuno
Kuno's nose close up, so I knowI can see that that's very cute.
Speaker 12 (56:26):
I'm kind of
switching back forth, but anyway
I'll be real quick.
Hey, tina, I wish you'd lookcloser to me because I'd go with
you on that mission with thatnew fee, because if you're going
to be picking up furniture, dude, you can say, gee, we got a
kind of a mini love seat cominghome, and she would know, and
then it would be the puppy in itand it would be a love seat.
Speaker 10 (56:48):
My search is
nationwide, so there's a chance
that we can meet up there's aboat.
Speaker 2 (56:54):
Okay, there's like a
whole bunch of new fee puppies
within driving distance of us.
Speaker 10 (56:58):
Let's just say that
oh see, well, you know you'd
have to go get new furniture.
Speaker 12 (57:03):
You'd have to.
And then, on that note, I didput a picture in the chat.
We had seven Yorkies, kind oflike it was just a long story
short, but we had like threegenerations and we had, oops,
puppies.
But we ended up keeping themall.
So everybody goes how can youhave seven dogs?
But Ting can relate, it's likewell, once you have one it's
like candy bars.
You know, you just keep going.
Speaker 10 (57:22):
I have eight, it's
all the same.
I almost got a baby goat lastweek but it's sad that he had a
lot of issues and I don't wantto be a donor.
But if I have room for a goatand eight dogs and what I have
(57:43):
four or five cats, the dragons, and that mean fish you can fit a
coffee table in.
Speaker 2 (57:51):
That's right, it's
really a table.
Yeah, like we when we gotbeaker aside from the whole
puppy business, which is a lotof work.
It like having two dogs isnothing Like we just love them
so much.
They're on there Like it's likeKuno and Chesney, like they get
along.
They're great dogs, like yeah.
Speaker 12 (58:09):
Well, just on a good
note, my husband didn't want
another Brussels griffon and mylate mom and I went on a mission
because we found a black one ina paper and we went home, we
just got it, we brought it homeand that was Rose, I mean, and I
mean he just fell head overheels for her.
So it was like he didn't wantanother dog because we had, you
know, seven Yorkies and we weregetting near the end of them and
(58:30):
that was hard because we madethey all start kind of going at
the same time and it's a lot,but you know.
But when we bought, broughthome that rosebud, he was just
enamored.
So, you know, might take Chrisa little bit, and they're not
too bad.
I've dog sat for two new fees.
I had a 14 year old one and apuppy.
It was like ying and yangbecause one was slow and one was
(58:53):
like full of energy, so it wascrazy.
But they they're really gooddogs and they don't.
I don't think they drool asmuch as people think they do.
And you can always use bandanasbecause I I dog sat for a great
Pyrenees Saint Bernard mix andshe would make bandanas for them
and it would catch the drool.
So it's not.
It wasn't like you're wiping upyou know spots going down the
(59:15):
floor.
It's just be careful whenyou're eating, so you eat
somewhere that's easy to wipe.
So that's, that's my, that's myadvice.
But I, I love the posts andthey crack up laughing because
when I see those puppy picturesI'm like man, I wish I could get
one too, but I think my husbandwould leave.
All right, guys.
Well, thanks for everything.
(59:35):
Great show and it's nice tohear everybody and have a good
night.
Speaker 2 (59:39):
Yeah, this is.
We look forward to doingPetChat too.
So there's some more speakerrequests.
We're, we're kind of wrappingstuff up, so we're, we're gonna,
we're gonna move towards theend.
Donna, you came back up, didyou want?
Did you have something to saybefore we would wrap?
Speaker 1 (59:54):
Yeah, am I working
again, is it?
Speaker 2 (59:57):
working.
We can hear you now.
You were kind of cutting in andout before.
Speaker 1 (01:00:00):
Yeah, I'm not
surprised.
I was saying that you can get afourth dog, get two new fees
and if you're going to name oneberyllium, name the other one
bromium and call them bro.
Speaker 11 (01:00:13):
No, I love it.
Speaker 2 (01:00:18):
There you go.
Make an ionic compound, Chris.
Speaker 3 (01:00:23):
We could make an
ionic compound.
Speaker 2 (01:00:26):
There's a question.
Are you comfortable answeringhow old Rafi is?
Speaker 3 (01:00:31):
Rafi is four years
old.
Speaker 2 (01:00:32):
Rafi is four.
Yeah, rafi is four.
He's pretty cute.
Okay, I think we'll movetowards our wrap up.
Hey, oh team, do you have aquestion in your hands up, or is
that just like other signals?
Speaker 10 (01:00:47):
No, it's kind of
going into the wrap up, because
Barkley Beyond often sponsorsthe show and your Goodwill
Ambassador.
I just wanted to do someshameless promotion that the
herd is helping the sponsors inMarch giveaway.
You can look at BarkleyBeyond's posts.
It's free to enter.
(01:01:07):
But you should also go shoppingand go use Code Bumson.
That's right, so I'm going toput the… or Code Owen, but I
want to plug Code Bumson.
Speaker 2 (01:01:16):
Oh, either one is
fine.
Yeah, yeah, so you'll save 10%with either the Bunson code or
the own.
I think Owen code is the same.
Yes, yeah, and I think theyhave a special deal on.
I haven't talked to BarkleyBeyond for this one, but when
they're here they do a flashsale during PetJet.
So check outBarkleyAndBeyondSupplycom and
(01:01:38):
then we'll do our draw.
I think right now.
So I'm just going to throw thisup there, so it's going to
shrink everybody.
So the prize today fromBarkleyAndBeyond is this
adorable shirt that says In myDog Mom Era.
So if you're on live, you getto see what that looks like.
So if you are on any of ourlives, please drop a comment to
(01:01:59):
show that you're here and we'llput you into the draw.
And then, how many people do wehave on audio, chris?
Speaker 11 (01:02:05):
35.
Speaker 2 (01:02:06):
35.
Okay, so Madison's 35, 36.
Yeah, drop a.
We got a whole bunch of peoplewatching, but I don't know.
I don't have any ability to seewho's here because I just have
numbers right.
So if you win, you have to be anumber that I could add to.
(01:02:29):
Okay, so that's three, four, five, five people 40.
Random number 40, chris.
Okay, I was trying to Twitter.
Not quite 29,.
Four, eight, 12, 16, 20, 24, 29.
The winner today is FM atF-M-E-R-I-E-A-V-E from Marieve.
(01:02:56):
You've won.
It looks like you've gottomatoes as your banner, so
congratulations.
So, fm, you have won.
Please, dm bark and beyondsupplycom.
So, fm, please DM bark andbeyond supplycom and they'll
(01:03:25):
hook you up with the prize andjust a couple, just a couple
information items on our end.
So we have, we got an extrasmall shipment of print books,
of text from Bunsen too.
So if you didn't get a printbook, we sold out of text from
Bunsen volume two, eternalwinter sold out, they gone.
We thought it was gone forever.
We have a very, very limitedstock in the store.
(01:03:49):
So if you missed out on textfrom Bunsen, you can, you can,
you can pick up a text fromBunsen volume two book Well,
supplies last in our store andour store is at Bunsen, bunsen
burner, bmdcom I'm not sure whatChris is showing, oh, bunsen.
And and of course, if you, ifyou don't want that, that
there's the ebook and the audiobook.
(01:04:10):
We also have a really funexperiment book 21 experiments
for kids, 21 amazing scienceexperiments, and you can just,
you can just get the experimentbook.
But I've made little bundles onour website where you can pick
up the book and a stuffy kind ofbundled together for a really
good deal.
(01:04:30):
And as always, remember we'vegot those science stuffies.
We have the activity book, andone thing that we were going to
just plug a little bit more justto get everybody aware is we
have, instead of a Patreon, because a lot of creators use
Patreon as a way to keep, like, their podcast free and their
content free and all that kindof stuff.
(01:04:52):
We moved away from Patreon tosomething called the pop, the
pop pack.
So you're going to see us plugthat a little bit more and it's
kind of hard doing links whilewe're live.
But if you want to support whatChris and I do, the best way to
support us is to become a poppack plus member and there's
(01:05:12):
different tiers and there's tonsand tons of stuff in our
community.
Like it's almost overwhelmingwhen you join.
We've heard that there's justtoo much stuff, but one of the
fun things that we do everySunday is we get together for
like a really intimate live chatEvery single Sunday and you can
come or you don't have to come, but it's a lot of fun on Sunday
(01:05:32):
evenings.
So at that time.
Sometimes we ask for adviceabout hey, this is what we're
thinking.
Speaker 3 (01:05:37):
Yeah, and get
feedback from our.
We call them the P3 pop packcommunity.
That's right, yeah, and again,it's kind of tough to post links
in our community.
Speaker 2 (01:05:52):
So maybe keep your
eyes peeled for when we're
talking about the pop pack.
I'm just going to put it in.
I can put it into the nest onon Twitter if you're interested.
And from the pop pack we have, the thing that we're going to be
launching next week, next week, next week, next month is our
fake rolling bone or our spoofof rolling stone, and we've
(01:06:14):
gotten a whole bunch of likehelp from the pet community.
So you'll notice that dogs willbe the authors of articles or
they'll be in the articles orthey'll be the focus of the
articles.
And I'm about halfway donewriting it and it's a bit a lot
(01:06:37):
of fun, and it's going tocoincide with a couple new songs
that will come out at the endof March from beakers band,
vultures of parliament.
So, anyways, that's thebookkeeping, and I wanted to
thank everybody who said yes tobeing involved with having their
, their pet, be part of the bepart of rolling stone.
(01:06:57):
Woo, that's a lot ofinformation, chris.
It is, but you did great.
Okay, time to wrap up.
Hey, oh should we?
Speaker 3 (01:07:06):
So we, we did the
draw right.
Speaker 2 (01:07:07):
Yeah, okay, that's a
person.
One FM tomatoes, yeah.
Speaker 10 (01:07:13):
FM tomatoes.
Speaker 3 (01:07:15):
That's not bad.
Speaker 2 (01:07:16):
So we have a side
chat next week and our guest is
Dr DEP or DIP, who is aAstrophysicist that studies
asteroids.
So you remember how we were soexcited about a Cyrus Rex.
(01:07:36):
I know Out of this world, yeah.
Speaker 3 (01:07:37):
So we're pretty
excited to have that.
Speaker 2 (01:07:42):
This guest is our
science guest on Tuesday.
Okay, yes, chris, people arelaughing at your pun.
I know it's so good.
Speaker 3 (01:07:48):
Yeah, I was a little
slow on the sound effect there,
but I'm.
Hey, Jason, did you see that?
One of your?
Speaker 1 (01:07:56):
former science guest
has been invited to the state of
the union or president Biden'sspeech because of her role in
creating a bill for travelingworking moms.
Is that Emily Calendrally?
It is, oh she is.
Speaker 2 (01:08:09):
She is something else
that lady Poof I.
We were very, very lucky tohave her on the show.
So, yeah, what, what is shedoing?
Speaker 1 (01:08:26):
I didn't see that
Donna, so she was invited by
representative Swallow fromCalifornia, who she helped write
a bill that he andrepresentative Porter from
California introduced forassistance for travel with
working moms, yeah, and so theyinvited her to the state of the
union.
So it's the president's addressto the nation.
(01:08:48):
That's pretty big deal.
Speaker 2 (01:08:49):
That's pretty cool.
I remember this Emily wastraveling and nursing and was
treated like super cruelly byyou know it was a miss and miss
by the TSA Like it was akaleidoscope of massive errors
that just you know, came downand she was, you know, obviously
very, very upset.
(01:09:09):
I remember this now.
Yeah, yeah, well, that's cool, donna, awesome, go, emily, she's
a cool lady.
She check out her show onNetflix, if you've got kids,
called Emily's wonder lab.
It's an amazing show.
All right, Good, chris, do youhave anything else?
No, we're good to wrap.
(01:09:31):
Okay, I have to check my 3dprinter.
Oh, I have props for the peoplewho are alive.
Look what I have it's a hamster.
It's a hamster.
So, yeah, I've, I've, if yousubscribe to us for $1, one of
the one of the subscribers wesent out there, as I've, I'm
(01:09:54):
building a cosplay team for usand my character has a hamster.
So that's what I'm showing.
It doesn't make a lot of senseunless you've played the game
Baldur's Gate.
So, anyways, I don't think itmakes a lot of sense to Chris.
But, okay, let's wrap up.
Thanks for coming to pet chat.
Everybody, you could beanywhere in the world, but
(01:10:15):
you're here.
If you wanted to speak and hedidn't get up, that's okay.
We run this every singleSaturday, so try again next week
.
And everybody who joined us onlive video, thanks for joining.
I have no idea what's going onInstagram.
It looks like it's frozen.
Speaker 3 (01:10:30):
So if it's closed
because it's one hour mark, oh,
that's right, they miss out.
They miss out.
Speaker 2 (01:10:38):
They just cut out
randomly for them.
Yeah, thanks for coming to petchat.
This is a lot of fun.
