Episode 67 - My guest on the podcast today is Phyllis Quinlan.  Phyllis has been in healthcare for over 40 years in a variety of clinical, education, and administrative roles.  She is the author of a book entitled; Bringing Shadow Behavior Into the Light of Day: Understanding & Effectively Managing Bullying & Incivility in Healthcare.

You know, if you don’t know whether your team has these kinds of struggles, it’s likely that they’re happening without you knowing it.  It’s critically important as a leader that you work on recognizing and addressing these issues before they become a cancer that metastasizes throughout your entire organization.

That’s why I’m so glad to have Phyllis on the podcast today.  She has really got a bead on recognizing, rooting out, and dealing with the types of destructive internal team dynamics that are so prevalent in most companies.  It’s an incredibly practical discussion, and we’ll go through some really specific steps you can take to start addressing some of these issues.  If you’ve got a cancer in your organization, you need to excise it.  In this conversation, you’ll get the tools you need to do that.
