President Trump stayed on script last night as he rattled off all the accomplishments he's made over the last 11 months. It was a crisp 19 minutes with the big highlight being the announcement that our military service members will receive a warrior dividend in the amount of $1776.00. The payment amounts to about $2.5 billion for the 1.4 million active duty service members. It is a nice Christmas bonus to celebrate our bravest and their service to this country. This morning, the president woke up to good news as well, inflation is down to 2.7%. This is a 5 year low as all the experts predicted something around 3.1%. Four Republicans defected and signed a discharge petition with Democrats on the ACA subsidies. Republicans have been very vocal in exposing how awful Obamacare is, including lining the pockets of insurance companies and being filled with fraud. Now is the time for Republicans to provide a healthcare solution that actually serves the people.
