Today Jess is sitting down solo to discuss the intricate relationship that brands have with athletes. She goes into detail about action brands that have recently dropped athletes or massively cut their pay, and how these athletes are taking a stand and fighting back. Jess talks about the controversy arising between true athletes as brand ambassadors vs. the rise of influencer athletes and how brands are sacrificing pushing the boundaries of sports for more social cred.
Finally, Jess gives advice to brands about how to grow their audience and leverage the different stages of an athletes' career to keep customers engaged and with the brand.
