The Power of Repetition: How One Call Sparked a Movement for Women in Business Welcome back, friends. I’m Lisa Resnick, founder of Dandelion-Inc and host of The Seed podcast. If you’ve ever rolled your eyes at advice you’ve heard a hundred times—only to have it hit differently one day—you’re not alone. This blog is your reminder that repetition is your best teacher, and sometimes, the moment that changes everything isn’t when you learn something new, but when you finally act on something familiar. Repetition Isn’t Lazy—It’s Foundational Let’s be honest. You’ve probably been to the same types of conferences, read similar business books, and listened to countless podcasts (mine included!). But have you ever noticed that one day—out of nowhere—the same message you’ve heard before finally clicks? I’ve had that moment. Many times, actually. In my early real estate days, I attended Tom Ferry events where the music blasted, the notebooks filled up, and most of what was shared? Not new. But those lessons—build your sphere, your calendar is your boss, consistency creates confidence—they hit different depending on the season I was in. Familiar wisdom. New context. Deeper growth. From Familiar Phrases to Life-Changing Clarity Later, I found myself in rooms filled with women founders and creators—from The Luminary in NYC to the Female Founder Collective. And again, it wasn’t the new that sparked something in me—it was the realness, the vulnerability, the shared energy. Then came the phone call that changed everything. The Call That Sparked Women Rising Founders of Lehner Shope Wealth Group and Dandelion-Inc. Co-Founders of Women Rising. Amy Shope, a longtime Dandelion-Inc member and brilliant businesswoman, called me one day out of the blue. She said, “Lisa, I’ve been thinking about creating something for women—not just another event, but something deeper. Something grounding. Real. And I want to build it with you.” And just like that, Women Rising was born. Not because we had some groundbreaking new idea, but because we finally moved with something we had known for years: women rise stronger together. You Don’t Need More Info—You Need to Say Yes Here’s what I want you to take from this: If you’re in a season where nothing feels new, it doesn’t mean you’ve stopped growing. It might mean you’re finally ready to build with what you already know. And that’s powerful. Rewatch the webinar. Revisit the podcast episode. Go to that event—even if you think you’ve heard it all before. Because repetition is how we strengthen our foundation, align with clarity, and take action from a place of grounded power—not panic. 🔗 Want to rise with us? Join us at the Women Rising Event Summit — designed not to bombard you with more noise, but to anchor you in your brilliance. This is your invitation to sit in the room, be seen, and move forward. 💌 Stay Connected If this message hit home, tag me on social @dandelionincllc. You need the right thing to land—at the right time. And when it does, like it did for me, it can change everything. Until next time—keep planting those seeds. ✨ Listen to the full episode on The Seed Podcast, and don’t forget to like, subscribe, and share. Cardiac Cowboys

Cardiac Cowboys

The heart was always off-limits to surgeons. Cutting into it spelled instant death for the patient. That is, until a ragtag group of doctors scattered across the Midwest and Texas decided to throw out the rule book. Working in makeshift laboratories and home garages, using medical devices made from scavenged machine parts and beer tubes, these men and women invented the field of open heart surgery. Odds are, someone you know is alive because of them. So why has history left them behind? Presented by Chris Pine, CARDIAC COWBOYS tells the gripping true story behind the birth of heart surgery, and the young, Greatest Generation doctors who made it happen. For years, they competed and feuded, racing to be the first, the best, and the most prolific. Some appeared on the cover of Time Magazine, operated on kings and advised presidents. Others ended up disgraced, penniless, and convicted of felonies. Together, they ignited a revolution in medicine, and changed the world.
