SPECIAL GUEST THIS EPISODE is a juggernaut of the Australian arts and entertainment industry, costume designer Tim Chappel. The fantastic costumes he designed for the iconic Australian film, The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert won him an Academy Award for Costume Design in 1995, as well as a BAFTA Award and an AFI Award. He continued designing for the Priscilla stage musicals, for which he won a Tony Award in 2011, and he’s continued to work on a range of movies, musicals, theatre productions and music videos. Most recently, he’s been celebrated for his incredible costumes on The Masked Singer Australia. Chappel is just about to head to America where he has just been signed to produce the costumes for the next three seasons of The Masked Singer USA.
