After a long, dramatic break, your two favorite shade merchants, Viki Villainess and Ari Kiki, are BACK and messier than ever! This week, we catch up on Viki’s recovery from that car accident (turns out, she’s indestructible) while Ari takes us on a journey to Broadway to see Death Becomes Her—and let’s just say, some performances should never die.

Then, we dive deep into the 2025 Grammys, where Beyoncé finally collected her long-overdue Album of the Year award (cue the collective gasp heard ‘round the world). And because the industry can’t let her breathe, she also won Country Album of the Year—sending certain folks into a full Achy, Breaky meltdown. Meanwhile, Lady Gaga dropped a new single and music video, "Abracadabra," and while the song may be magic, we’re still debating if that video was a trick or a treat.

Of course, it wouldn’t be The Shade Parade without political absurdity, and this week, we’re forced to acknowledge that Elon Musk has somehow broken into USAID and run off with millions of Americans’ financial info. Not to be outdone, Trump’s tragic policies have apparently led to planes literally falling from the sky. Because of course.

But despite all this nonsense, we still find the joy in pop culture by recapping RuPaul’s Drag Race, gagging over the next Marvel movie, and generally being the unbothered, fabulous creatures that we are. So grab a drink, clutch your pearls, and tune in for another chaotic, hilarious episode of The Shade Parade! 🍷💅🎤
