Medicine Mask - Authenticity
The mask asks you to face up to who you are. No more hiding behind conformity, groups and teams. No more hiding behind the rules and processes of your work. Now is the time to drop the mask and reveal who you authentically are.
Conformity, groups and teams are all about your desire to fit in, be one of the guys, or gals. To gain glory and stature by being in a team or group that confers success and togetherness without allowing individuality and creativity.
Shaman often wear a mask associated with the qualities of the spirit they which to invoke. But this is a for a purpose, a healing session. You have been wearing a mask to hide behind, or at the very least not allow your true authentic self to be seen by the world. If you make your own medicine mask, make sure it is in tune with your own qualities and values.
Make sure the values and qualities are clearly seen. This is not the time to be a crowd pleaser, or follower. Let the mask be powerful and demonstrate your pride, sincerity and involve yourself in a loving relationship. Be genuine and credible.
West - Purge
Problems that are not aired, are problems no one knows anything about. Bottling up your problems inside of you takes away your valuable soul energy. It drains you of that which you need to move forward.
Work you no longer enjoy or which drains you by the end of the day. A relationship that is no supporting and helping you but instead asking you to be like a bandage for another is not worthy of you. You can approach your colleagues about your work effort and the way it drains you.
Switch to something that is up lifting and enjoyable.
If lifting and enjoyable work is not available to you. Move on to a new work place, a new team that is and will support you.
If it is a relationship. Now is the time to end it and leave for peace and quiet. Sit and meditate on what it is you want I a partner and then start to seek them out.
In all of this, you are being true to yourself. No one will critics you for that,
