Slava (00:00):
Hey.
Jonathan (00:01):
You're everything
that's wrong with the world. Now
I understand why your mothernever loved you.
Slava (00:05):
There it is. Just salt in
the wound.
Jonathan (00:12):
So, folks, we're still
on a break. We wanted to pop
back in and let you know that weare revamping the framework
again based on some key feedbackwe got in the last season. I
guess we'll call it seasons. They're long, but I think we can
call it seasons because there'sa break. But here's what we've
done so far.
We are working on expanding thewebsite, so there's more to
offer you. We are revamping theframework. As I just said, we're
(00:33):
moving towards trying to make avideo version of the podcast
easy and accessible for you. We're looking at whether we can
add another segment or sideshowthat would be fresh and unique.
We've got some strong ideas forthat.
We just have to figure out howwe could fit it into the
schedule and how often it wouldbe released and
Slava (00:53):
things like that. I say
we just roll the dice
Jonathan (00:55):
on that. Slava's gonna
roll the dice. We're also
building a guest list to getmore guests back. We both have
said that we think it'd be funto have Abby back on for another
book. I'm actually reading abook that she suggested during
our episode, which is The BookThat Never Burns or The City
That Never Burns or somethinglike that.
I think it's the book that thebook that wouldn't burn. All
(01:17):
takes place in a a library, anendless library at that, which
is really interesting. There'scompeting story lines and
competing characters thateventually coalesce together.
I'm not done with it yet. I itis really interesting.
It's been well, anyway, I won'teven I'm I'm, like, just getting
into reviewing the book. So I'llstop there. Slava, anything to
(01:39):
add for this announcement?
Slava (01:40):
Yeah. I have one thing to
add. I'm really excited about
the expansion of the website. We're gonna add a few new pages,
suggestion page, and what I'mexcited about is a blog like
section where we will provide alittle bit more details on the
books we've read that we'vecovered, what we enjoyed about
(02:02):
them. Maybe, Jonathan, maybesome extra resources that can
inspire people to read thosebooks or to do their own deep
dives or to start writing theirown short stories and novels and
all that good stuff.
More interactive and more valueadd for the audience again.
Jonathan (02:19):
Mhmm.
Slava (02:19):
I'm happy to see that
come to fruition.
Jonathan (02:23):
Yeah. Can't wait. But
just as a reminder, we will be
back early October. Stay tuned. We have more great books to come
and hopefully some more behindthe scenes stuff.
If there's anything that youguys would like to see, drop it
in the comments, and we will doour best to fit it in.
Slava (02:38):
See you in October.
