Signature Move of the Week: The People’s Elbow
The People’s Elbow. The most electrifying move in pro wrestling, sports and entertainment. Is that the move that makes The Rock the next Undisputed WWE Universal Champion? It’s at least possible.
It was enough to beat Cody Rhodes on WrestleMania Saturday, which is more than Roman Reigns can say about The Spear.
With the champagne barely dry on Cody’s championship celebration, The Rock made sure to remind Cody of that very fact at the top of the Raw After Mania.
Back in 1998, LL Cool J was insulted when Canibus asked to borrow the microphone that was tattooed on his arm. Legacy and positioning aside, The Rock asking to borrow Cody’s newly won title, for just a moment, and then proclaiming that holding it “just feels right” probably made Cody feel just as insulted as James Todd Smith.
We know The Rock is off to film a new project called The Smashing Machine but that insult is going to find a home in the back of Cody’s mind for however long the real head of the table, the final boss, is away from The E.
We also know that whenever he comes back, Cody is The Rock’s target. “Your story with Roman Reigns is over and you did it but our story has just begun.”
The next chapter of that story might be titled And New and the last sentence might be punctuated with a People’s Elbow, courtesy of The Great One.

CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist
It’s 1996 in rural North Carolina, and an oddball crew makes history when they pull off America’s third largest cash heist. But it’s all downhill from there. Join host Johnny Knoxville as he unspools a wild and woolly tale about a group of regular ‘ol folks who risked it all for a chance at a better life. CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist answers the question: what would you do with 17.3 million dollars? The answer includes diamond rings, mansions, velvet Elvis paintings, plus a run for the border, murder-for-hire-plots, and FBI busts.
