The Size 15 Runner doesn’t stick to sports—he sticks to politics and gets stuck being politically incorrect (2:09); he goes covertly undercover to discover how the most important part of a shoe—the name—is chosen…only to discover it’s the least important part of a shoe (9:46); and he not-so-humbly humble brags about going from couch sitting to marathon running (22:14).

  • How Shoes are Named: As a running shoe geek, I’vealways wanted to know how companies decide to name their pairs. If I can’t be a fly on the wall, I’ll put my phone underneath the conference room table to secretly record their meeting.
  • Politics in Running: There is a great divide in the U.S. and there’s an extremely crucial decision coming that American runners of all ethnicities, races, religious beliefs, and sexual orientations will need to make. Their choice could very well decide the country’s fate for/four years to come. Will you choose to be on the left side or the right side……of the road while running?
  • From Benchwarmer to Marathon Runner: I never dreamed I’d be running marathons. I mean, I never thought I’d even be running. Who chooses to run for fun? But, thankfully, I was introduced to the sport—or, rather, forced to go running by my dad—at just the right time in my life. It would take a while to stick with it, but once I did, my relationship to sports—and life—changed forever.
