What happens when two podcast hosts walk into a metaphysical expo and get their lives read like open books, by a complete stranger?

In this eye-opening (and slightly soul-rearranging) episode of The Skeptic Metaphysicians, Will and Karen sit down at Spirit Fest USA with intuitive spiritual guide and psychic medium Jax, whose healing gifts are as vibrant as her Florida sunshine energy. What begins as a casual chat quickly turns into a full-blown intuitive intervention as Jax channels personalized guidance from “the team”; spiritual guides who seem to know Will and Karen a little too well.

From messages about balancing relationships and work, to the healing power of reclaiming sacred time and setting boundaries, Jax doesn’t hold back. This impromptu reading reveals truths so raw and accurate that it leaves everyone stunned...and maybe just a little teary-eyed.

But this episode isn’t just about Will and Karen’s metaphysical tune-up. Jax shares her journey of creating a safe and sacred space in Fort Pierce, Florida, where seekers can explore spirituality without judgment. She dives into the power of remote readings, past life regressions, yoga, sound healing, and her mission to collaborate (not compete) with other healers to spread light and healing globally.

Whether you’re in need of a spiritual reset, curious about mediumship, or just enjoy watching Will get lovingly called out by the Universe… this one is not to be missed.

In This Episode:
  • Why Jax created PU (Simple. Pure.) as a sanctuary for spiritual exploration
  • The importance of intuitive time-blocking and self-care in relationships
  • A live intuitive reading for Will (and later for Karen) that strikes straight to the soul
  • How spiritual teams work behind the scenes to guide our growth
  • Remote healing, classes, and why comfort in your own space can amplify energy work
  • The magic of finding your spiritual community, whether in person or online

Takeaways for the Seekers:
  • You are not alone. There’s a team guiding you, you just have to listen.
  • Healing doesn’t always come in silence. Sometimes it comes with laughter, tears, and a microphone.
  • Spiritual spaces should be judgment-free zones. We all deserve to explore what makes our souls sing.
  • Boundaries are spiritual tools. Set them like your energy depends on it, because it does.
  • Collaboration over competition. There’s enough light for all of us to shine.

Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hey there, once again, we are back. We're here again
at the Spiritfest USA, the dullest expo center here in Chantilly, Virginia.
We have been having unbelievable conversations with all one of
the expo exhibitors here as well as some of the participants.
And now we are lucky enough to have Jax, who
is an intuitive spiritual guide and her card says simp Pure,

(00:24):
and I'm really excited to hear what this is all about.
So Jack, welcome to the show.

Speaker 2 (00:29):
Thank you so much for having me. I appreciate it.

Speaker 3 (00:32):
So Sam Pure Semper from Semper five means always always pure,
I with just pure love, joy, happiness. And the space
that I've created is for people to feel that when
they walk into the energy love.

Speaker 4 (00:48):
Oh my god, it's so desperately needed these days, especially.

Speaker 2 (00:51):
Nowadays, especially nowadays. Yes, yes, absolutely yeah.

Speaker 1 (00:55):
So then what does samp pure actually do?

Speaker 3 (00:58):
So I started off, like most of the people that
I come in contact with and talk to, there was
never a safe, sacred space for us as kids to
explore what is that we're feeling.

Speaker 2 (01:13):
We were made to feel like, oh, you're crazy, Oh
you're nuts. You know, what do you mean? You hear voices.
So I worked really.

Speaker 3 (01:22):
Hard for the last few years, doing a lot of
markets and a lot of networking and a lot of
talking to a lot of people. And I've just opened
my own space in Fort Pierce, Florida, but specifically to
open the doors of this safe, sacred space where people
can come and get answers and not feel judged and

(01:42):
be one hundred percent authentically themselves so that they don't
have to feel like they're alone and seek mentors because
back in the nineties there was no Internet or Google
that says, hey, let me look it up what I'm experiencing.
There was none of that we were able to I
wanted to create the space with collaborating with all of

(02:04):
these other healers. I'm all about collaboration, petition. There's enough
space for everybody to be successful. There absolutely is, and
we all help. The more messages we get out, the
more messages yet, Yeah, which is why I was drawn
today to come here, get a little out of my
comfort zone and spread this message that you're not alone

(02:24):
and that we as a community are if you're to
help you heal well.

Speaker 1 (02:27):
Jacks think we are so glad you did that, because
you're definitely can because that's exactly everything you just said
is exactly our thought process, and the whole reason for
the show and the network is for that exact reason.

Speaker 2 (02:39):
But I gotta say, you seem pretty comfortable.

Speaker 3 (02:40):
Yeah, you guys have opened that space for them homeport ability.

Speaker 2 (02:45):
So I appreciate it.

Speaker 1 (02:46):
Thank you. That's what we love. We love talking to
people about this stuff. It's it just it fuels us,
and I think that it's a safe space for everyone.

Speaker 2 (02:57):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (02:58):
So what is it about what you do that you
feel is so important that you took the trek from
Florida to Virginia, which I have made many times.

Speaker 2 (03:08):
It's not an easy one. It's a long time all
day in general, it's not.

Speaker 1 (03:11):
An easy right now, well, especially to hear the topic
in that corridor. There's no joke.

Speaker 2 (03:16):
No, But I was meant. I follow the universe.

Speaker 3 (03:20):
I follow whatever messages and where I'm guided, and I
don't question it. I just jumped on a plane and
said this is where I'm meant to be. And I
know that there are certain people because so intuitive spiritual guide.
I guide you on your spiritual path whatever spirit needs
to tell you, whatever it is that you're meant to
hear whatever is that you meant to know right now,

(03:40):
based on your current decisions, based on where your head in,
what's coming. And I'm meant to heal certain people that
are here, So I was guided to be here.

Speaker 1 (03:54):
You know what, Jack's I think you're meant to heal me. Okay,
so what do I need to know?

Speaker 2 (04:00):
Okay?

Speaker 1 (04:00):
Oh boy?

Speaker 2 (04:02):
Can we get personal?

Speaker 1 (04:03):
Oh yeah? Wait wait this is live right, yeah, go
for it. I am an open book okay these days.

Speaker 2 (04:10):
Okay, So the first thing that they want me to
tell you, be.

Speaker 3 (04:14):
Very careful of your balance between relationship and work. To
make sure that there's a good separation between the two,
and to make sure that when you're done with work,
you're done with work, and that you set that separate time.

Speaker 1 (04:38):
That's not no, you have been talking. You have been talking.
This is not fair. Wait a second. So and you
need to ask them. And first thing to ask you,
who's them?

Speaker 2 (04:48):
Your team?

Speaker 1 (04:49):
My team? You're talking to my team.

Speaker 2 (04:50):
I'm talking to your team.

Speaker 1 (04:51):
Well, I gotta have a word with my team, because
my team is what makes me do all this work.

Speaker 2 (04:56):
Right.

Speaker 1 (04:56):
We're doing my day job, we're doing our shows, Keptic Benephosition,
we're doing new reality TV. How are they expect me
to do all that and do that separation.

Speaker 3 (05:06):
So prioritizing your time and making time blocks is how
they're showing me that you need to put it in
time blocks. I'm going to spend an hour doing this.
I'm going to spend two hours doing this. I'm going
to spend an hour doing this. Block yourself a time.

Speaker 2 (05:25):
I think that.

Speaker 1 (05:28):
What worked for me.

Speaker 2 (05:29):
That's exactly. No, this is perfect, it's gonna help it.

Speaker 4 (05:33):
We literally were just but like last weekend, last weekend,
and we are married.

Speaker 2 (05:38):
Yes, we are married. Okay, I I didn't you.

Speaker 1 (05:41):
Didn't know that.

Speaker 2 (05:41):
I did not know that.

Speaker 1 (05:42):
Oh it's good.

Speaker 4 (05:44):
Yeah. I made him turn everything off and say, okay,
we are going to have a weekend. We hadn't had
a weekend because of all the work that we do.
I'm like, no, we're going outside, we're doing whatever.

Speaker 2 (05:55):
And it was great. But yeah, it was like it
was like, you've got to stop working. We have to
have a weekend to Yeah, but that's my problem.

Speaker 1 (06:02):
My problem is that I'm too much of perfection. Is
when it comes to this, like I need to make
sure that everything I don't I can't have anything fall
through the cracks and so thus I'm working all the time.

Speaker 2 (06:12):
But you have to prioritize yourself.

Speaker 3 (06:15):
So if we keep using our reserves in our cup
without allowing the cup to refill and pour over the extra,
you're you're going into your reserves. You're not you have
to be able to have your cup consistently refill, right,
So if you're not giving yourself time to rebalance and

(06:38):
and recenter and get back to center, especially her being
your touchstone of that. Honestly, you know, that's who she is,
and that's that's what she is to you. You need
to have your cup refilled before you can start going
like an octopus in all eight different directions.

Speaker 1 (07:00):
In all fairness, I've been saying that for a while.

Speaker 2 (07:01):
That's that is true.

Speaker 1 (07:02):
Yeah, so I do I do need to have my
cup refilter, I see.

Speaker 2 (07:05):
And I'm like extrapolating it. I know, boy, do you
want to like fill up your cup like once a year?

Speaker 4 (07:12):
But I'm saying, just like fill up a little bit
on a more regular basis and it will never hit
that empty correct?

Speaker 2 (07:18):
Yeah? Correct? Do you that correct? No? So do you
guys all heard that overtowing?

Speaker 1 (07:23):
That's I mean it sounds great if we does, but
in practicality, right, it kind of goes in line with
this whole metaphysical spiritual stuff, right, because we're living in
the three D world, but we want to ascend, we
want to grow in our in our vibrational frequency. But
then the three D world gets in the way again

(07:44):
and again and again. So we have to find a
balance on how to do it.

Speaker 2 (07:47):
All, balance and prioritize the blocks.

Speaker 3 (07:51):
You have to set a time away, even if it's
for twenty minutes to touch base.

Speaker 2 (07:58):
Even if it's twenty minutes.

Speaker 3 (07:59):
I know that it doesn't feel that there's enough time
in a day, but time escapes you when you're completely
lost in what it is that you're doing. And that's
one hundred percent. But when we are able to block
off a timer and say I'm going to give myself
twenty minutes to reset twenty minutes alone away that you

(08:20):
that you've clocked away at the very least just to
touch base, just.

Speaker 2 (08:24):
To vent it all out or let go and release right.

Speaker 1 (08:30):
Okay. So this is a type of intuitive coaching that
you give to people. And now you open up a
new store in Saint Pierre's right for Piers, Saint Pierre.
I was saying Saint Peer. I was saying Saint Lucy,
Port Saint Lucy and Fort Pierce.

Speaker 2 (08:44):
So I live in Port Saint Lucy.

Speaker 1 (08:46):
Okay, all right, I was close sight so so yeah,
I was my intuitive hit. So you're opening up a store,
which is wonderful. Is this something that you can do
for people remotely or is it? Okay?

Speaker 2 (08:56):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (08:57):
Right, So I actually, especially as a COVID, I've done
readings even in Scotland, Ireland, I've done Scotten readings in
the UK.

Speaker 1 (09:05):
It was was it hard to understand the Scottish people?

Speaker 3 (09:08):
No, because spirits speaks have some help. Yeah, and remote
healing is a thing you know a lot of people,
and especially the fact that when I read somebody that's
in their own environment and in their own space, they're
more comfortable within their own space. So as you're more
comfortable in your own space, I can tap in letter

(09:31):
and I love being able to. Now I've actually just
I we're just talking right before I started about the
equipment that you're using. Because I am bringing my classes online.
I get a lot of snowbirds and they don't have
what I do back home. I want them to be
able to tap into their sound healings or pass life progressions,

(09:52):
or any of the readings or anything that they've connected
with a person through the different modalities that I offer
for the store.

Speaker 2 (10:01):
Go online and go lives.

Speaker 3 (10:03):
Do what you guys are doing, you know, open it
up to everyone so that everybody has access to this
healing and we work together to spread it out as
far wide as we can.

Speaker 1 (10:13):
That's awesome.

Speaker 4 (10:14):
And I did tell her if she does have, you know,
start creating shows and programming and content. I know a
guy who can broadcast couple. I know a couple of people.

Speaker 2 (10:27):
TV.

Speaker 1 (10:28):
I forgot about that. Okaylug So on your card you
say crystals, reading's, breathwork, yoga and more more more. This
is the more more so so intuitively, you you feel
what someone needs and then you just give them what
it is at they need a particular point in time

(10:48):
now before we start recording. You also mention you were
a media Yes, excuse me. So that's another bag of
tricks that you can reach into if someone is in
the other world that has a message for that person.

Speaker 3 (11:02):
So mediumship to me always means and I do do
that sometimes if a spirit is like, hey, I really
need to come through and give you the message. But
those are your team members anyway, So I'm channeling those
people that were once people and they're the ones that
are telling you this information. So it's one thing to

(11:23):
touch base with somebody who has passed and say, oh,
I need to know that, you know, grandma hid a
butterfly in the closet, whatever it is. But sometimes the
message is that, hey, I see you struggling. I need
you to connect, I need you to do this, that
and the other, And that's the message from your team.
That's where I'm channeling that information from.

Speaker 2 (11:44):
Okay, so I'm feeling a little left out always it
can't be you know. You know.

Speaker 1 (11:52):
That my next question, that's where I was going.

Speaker 2 (11:54):
Yeah, okay, okay, I'm like, I love it.

Speaker 3 (12:09):
You know, you cannot bear all of the responsibility of
the thank you.

Speaker 1 (12:18):
I'm done here. You're not gonna cry, are you.

Speaker 2 (12:26):
It doesn't have to be all on you. I'm gonna
start crying. That's a conversation.

Speaker 3 (12:34):
Does not have to be all on you. You have
to learn to be able to delegate and trust. And
I understand it's a little bit of a control thing.
You're not gonna. You just have to be able to
delegate your time and the things that you are doing
again for you also to put energy where it needs

(12:56):
to go within each other. But you take on that
responsibility of if I don't do it, who's going to
do it? And you have other ways of having other
people helping.

Speaker 2 (13:14):
Or another responsibility.

Speaker 4 (13:16):
No, So when when you said the way I interpreted
it was emotional responsibility, because it's everything.

Speaker 2 (13:23):
We're all incompassent. Yeah, it is. It's all encompassing. I'm
not gonna.

Speaker 3 (13:27):
It's emotional, it's physical, it's it's mental, it's it's all
of it.

Speaker 2 (13:32):
You take all of that.

Speaker 1 (13:33):
So full disclosure for those of you who are watching
or listening right now. We don't know Jack. She We've
had a very casual conversation, but did not disclose anything
about what we are, not even that we're married, or
what we're doing, or what our needs were. And she
literally called out my biggest problem and her biggest problem
without knowing us. So that's amazing.

Speaker 2 (13:52):
And these two things are conversations. We talked about both
of these things.

Speaker 1 (13:56):
Yes, three days ago night.

Speaker 3 (13:58):
It's going to be current anything that I'm talking about,
it's you it's your team, and that's what I'm saying.
I channel in your team members that say I need
you to know this so that you can reach your
full potential of whatever it is. Your next steps are,
where are you headed, what are you doing, what's going on?
This is just the tip so I can go obviously
into more details. And that's what I do with my

(14:20):
readings and why I'm here because this modality. A lot
of people like, oh, it's just a reader, but this
is so kealing to hear somebody that doesn't know you
from a hole in the wall tell you and say
this is what you need to work on. This is
how you're going to get better.

Speaker 2 (14:36):
Both of you.

Speaker 1 (14:37):
Some some might say we're not as pretty as holes
in the walls, but we're getting there. Yeah, all right, So.

Speaker 2 (14:43):
I'm not even sure what that meant.

Speaker 1 (14:46):
She don't know it's from a hole in the wall.

Speaker 2 (14:47):
So you're saying I'm not as pretty as a whole?

Speaker 1 (14:50):
No, all, I said, we as in me.

Speaker 2 (14:54):
I know, but I'm part of the lead. Well, you know,
like the royallegue.

Speaker 1 (14:57):
Honey, I'm gonna go with the joke. Yeah all right,
Well we do have.

Speaker 2 (15:05):
Fun to get it.

Speaker 3 (15:05):
You do and I can I feel the energy and
the really good thing about So I'll go into a
little bit deeper the fact that you both have and
again that's why I asked if you wanted to be
personal on this, because this is where I knew it
was going. Is you have an amazing foundation before all
of this started.

Speaker 2 (15:26):
You're best friends. Yeah, So.

Speaker 3 (15:31):
It's the foundation that you've set so that because you're
so chaotic and that you still make it work with
just being able to be in the same space. You're
okay with it right now as long as we're together
doing something, even though you're doing your thing, you're doing
your thing, working on the same thing, but you're doing
separate things.

Speaker 2 (15:48):
You're within the same space. And the fact that you are.

Speaker 3 (15:52):
Because you have set that foundation from the beginning, you're
able to kind of come in and come out of
the you know, doing your thing, and that's what allows
it to be so strong.

Speaker 2 (16:06):
All right, everyone, you must come see Jazz.

Speaker 1 (16:08):
You gotta you gotta come, you gotta got if you're
anywhere near the DC area, this is a place to be.
This is just another years later, yeah, or four peers
later on. Yeah, in Florida, we're online or online. Yeah,
so it's I'll get to that. If you're in the
area right now this weekend, come out to Spiritfest USA
in Dallas Expo Center because she's here. Now. You got

(16:29):
today and tomorrow and that's it. If you're in this area,
you got fair warned. Come in now because that's all
you got her for. And then at that point, the
next step is to reach out to her. And if
someone wanted to have an online consultation with you, what's
the best way for someone to reach out to you.

Speaker 3 (16:48):
Some peer dot com it's says and Sam E m
p Porri dot com, and they can schedule with me
or any of my healers that I have available.

Speaker 2 (16:58):
Oh, she has a team. I do. I do have
a team.

Speaker 3 (17:01):
And you know, that's the thing is that we have
so many different modalities and feeling ways of readings, and
everybody that's here that does what they're doing and just
going with who you're drawn to and why you're drawn to.
That's somebody and if it's not for me, I would
love for it to be somebody on my team.

Speaker 1 (17:19):
We awesome, Well you got it here will uh We'll
lay down a direct link in the show notes eventually
once we get back home to make sure that you
have access to simppure dot com. All right, Jack, Thanks
you so much for that. A lot of fun

Cardiac Cowboys

Cardiac Cowboys

The heart was always off-limits to surgeons. Cutting into it spelled instant death for the patient. That is, until a ragtag group of doctors scattered across the Midwest and Texas decided to throw out the rule book. Working in makeshift laboratories and home garages, using medical devices made from scavenged machine parts and beer tubes, these men and women invented the field of open heart surgery. Odds are, someone you know is alive because of them. So why has history left them behind? Presented by Chris Pine, CARDIAC COWBOYS tells the gripping true story behind the birth of heart surgery, and the young, Greatest Generation doctors who made it happen. For years, they competed and feuded, racing to be the first, the best, and the most prolific. Some appeared on the cover of Time Magazine, operated on kings and advised presidents. Others ended up disgraced, penniless, and convicted of felonies. Together, they ignited a revolution in medicine, and changed the world.
