He's the Beaveman, a sarcastic, angry, Army veteran who is full of guarded optimism and a love of comedy. His counterpart, the Swan, is the Padmé to his Darth Vader, the Evil-Lyn to his Skeletor, and the destroyer of fun. Together they use the podcast as a method of increasing their power and skills with both the light and the dark side of the force. They are joined by fellow squad members the Trailer Park Monster/Dark Lord of Brown-Town JD Hutchins, the King of Kalamazoo County Comedy Nolan Johncock, and a rotating cast of friends of the show. When they unite they are, "The Slaptail Squad," a force of humor and idiocy in a world gone completely nuts. Join them, become a part of the great Slaptail Nation, and embrace the collective craziness.
The Squad unites and welcomes the Minddog himself, Matt Nappo, to the show to hang out and join in the idiocy that is the Slaptail Squad.
Did you know there is a medical condition where your hand can do its own thing, beyond your control? Sounds kinky right? Wrong you weirdo. It is an actual condition known as Alien Hand Syndrome. Want to see the video the Beaveman made? Send us a message or check slaptailnation.com u...
What a fun episode. The squad gets unsolicited information from Steven about his sex life, which coincidentally, fits very well with the Beaveman's, "Not So Grand Rounds." Should it drip? An age old question.
This week on extraterrestrial time, Steven proves he is unprepared, and Nolan does the same on Weird History. Good thing no one is paying these guys.
The traffic report is read with the finesse of ...
Technical difficulties plague the squad from the get go, leading to some rather mid-quality sound from Nolan, but they power through. At least, sort of. That non-beard growing Indiana potato decides he has to make in the middle of the podcast. This only infuriates the Beaveman and Nolan more. They still have a fun chat with each segment with the poor Beaveman covering his segment, plus Swan's and JD's. He gi...
The Squad assembles to bring you their own brand of idiocy. Ever wonder what a USO is? If so, you have most likely come to the wrong place. Steven "the roll on" Amish Potato brings us the hot topics in all things extraterrestrial this week. Is it extraterrestrial or is it terrestrial? If it's underwater, is it aquatic?
Beaveman talks about the difference between a foot fetishistic disorder and a foot ki...
On this week's episode, the Squad unites and things get weird... even for us. Extraterrestrial things - Steven basically talks about aliens and basically says basically 47 times. (We didn't actually count, but you can if you want to). Nolan does a book report on the historical accuracy of the movie Braveheart. Swan joins us from the Slaptail Nation Chopper with a highly informative, completely serious, d...
The Squad unites to have a paranormal talk with Ivy Supersonic.
Is it all paranormal talk. Of course not. Something odd happens. Is it just a recording error, most likely, or could it be the presence of Ivy's father throughout the interview? Wanting to believe, the squad leans toward the paranormal. The scientist in Beaveman wins out in the end. Most likely this is a recording error. Possibly Ivy had more than on...
Another fun episode as the squad unites. Steven "the Sitcom" Ortiz joins the squad with the latest extraterrestrial buzz. The Beaveman professes his love for little people. That guy really likes the ladies for sure. Nolan tells us about an amazing female fencer and the Swan destroys yet another traffic report. The Swan doesn't disappoint on her second segment. She really can ruin a joke. Join us weekly ...
Beaveman demonstrates once again that his medical topics focus on his love of women. Can that guy focus on anything else? No worries, the Swan delivers a fun story about a Moose on the loose, Steven "the Sitcom" Ortiz rolls in with information about the Buga sphere, and JD hits us with some paranormal activity. Oh, and the Ronz is there to make it cringy. That's why we don't give him a segment. It&...
The Squad unites to bring you another ridiculous episode. Well, all of us except JD. Thanks a lot kids. Kids ruin podcasts. Anyway. Ronz steps in, or does he? Nope, he has Lil Powdered Donut sit in.
On this episode they cover such topics as: perineum sunning, the oldest dynasty, a terrible traffic report, a North Carolina cryptid, and of course, dumb jokes with Swan. Done in true Slaptail Squad fashion with lots of in...
The title says it all. The Squad transitions to an actual goofy format. Want to hear some weird history? Nolan's got you covered. Miss the Monsters Lair, we do too, but you can get a tiny taste from the Trailer Park Monster himself, the Dark Lord of Brown Town, JD Hutchins. Have you ever wanted to hear local traffic with all the enthusiasm of Ben Stiller doing a dry eye commercial? No, me either, but Swan has it ...
It's a bucket list weekend. JD Hutchins is onsite with the squad all the way from Fresno, CA. It's a great adventure starting with JD's flight getting screwed up, rush tattoos for the Beaveman and JD, a comedy show where the Beaveman performs, then an overnight drive to Ohio, about 30 minutes from Point Pleasant WV.
Do we have more recordings? No. The squad consisting of a very high Nolan Johncock and S...
The plan: play clips of old shows and talk about what we remember, make fun of how we responded, sounded, etc.
That would have worked out well, had the Beaveman not recorded sound bytes over the clips on the mixer.
Oh well, we adapted and overcame. What did we even talk about. Let's see, Ronz updated us and then somehow we started talking about the military and the Beaveman's time as an Airborne Infantry Par...
