Speaker 1 (00:37):
Anchors up says it full. Welcome to the subcast. How
are you doing today? Cow?
Speaker 2 (00:42):
All right, Jared her are you doing today?
Speaker 3 (00:44):
Good?
Speaker 1 (00:45):
Yea night ere to day you tradition? Good tradition?
Speaker 3 (00:53):
Al right?
Speaker 2 (00:53):
Week five? Here we are, Week five already, Jared, see season,
this season, these seasons just flying by this year. It's
no different here, all right, So let's let's take a look.
Waste no time updating our tier list S A, B,
C and M tier Yep, oh that's here, that's here.
(01:17):
We had a house state Oregon, Penn State, and my
amiate no changes. I would say, no changes.
Speaker 1 (01:26):
No one's definitely, definitely, no one's going down. And I
don't feel like moving anyone up either.
Speaker 2 (01:35):
I don't. I agree. I can't think of any anybody
that's worth moving up there.
Speaker 1 (01:39):
So oh can't can I? But can I do it quick?
I told you so about Texas Tech. I've been asking
you to move Texas Tech up for several weeks, and
I think they proved themselves this past week.
Speaker 2 (01:57):
Fair enough, all right? Fair enough? Eight tier Texas, Georgia, LSU,
Texas A and M Oklahoma Florida State Texas Tech, and
I believe we had two lane up there as well.
Speaker 1 (02:16):
We did, in fact have TWU lane. We should probably
move to lane down, but we have to have a
fifth conference champion present in at least eight tier. So yeah,
maybe we should move to lane down. But who do
we replace him with? We could put USF back up there,
(02:40):
but they had very similar, very bad losses. It's just
that two lanes is more recent. We could look all
the way down to Sea tier, where we have North Texas,
we have Old Dominion, we have Memphis, I U N
l V I. I think there could be some cases made,
(03:08):
maybe for Memphis. Hear me out, hearing you out, I don't.
Speaker 2 (03:18):
I'm looking here. I'm trying to see if they have any.
Speaker 1 (03:21):
Love spikes also, maybe you out.
Speaker 2 (03:27):
Maybe not many, maybe not many in the the very
outdated AP coaches polls. But what about the mean green
of North Texas four.
Speaker 1 (03:44):
Nite I I.
Speaker 2 (03:46):
They have they have, they have, they have winds over
Western Michigan, Washington State, and Army.
Speaker 1 (03:55):
Okay, none of them impressive, but they.
Speaker 2 (03:59):
Don't have don't have a terrible loss, and they're sitting
there tied tied for first in there in their conference.
And if you're looking for someone in a conference outside
of the Big four. I I don't really see anything else,
Like I would love to have a MAC, but I
don't see any max making it out realistic. Mountain West
(04:24):
have the best one. There's maybe Fresno State, but they
had a bad loss in week one to Camps West
is not going to deliver mm hmm. And no to
the PAC twelve, the PAC two.
Speaker 1 (04:40):
Yeah, that's not happening.
Speaker 2 (04:42):
And this and the Sun Belt has a ton of losses. Yeah, yeah,
the somet has a ton of losses. That kind of
really it's it seems like it's the American It's like
it's the American Conference that's most likely at this stage
to get to get that out of bed.
Speaker 1 (04:57):
So I'm looking right, Spikes wants us to put the
bulls back up, which you know, they got destroyed by Miami,
and we can have conversations back and forth about you know,
they have the best wins. They clearly have the best wins,
but they also got slaughtered by.
Speaker 2 (05:15):
My who did they beat?
Speaker 1 (05:20):
They they played three straight at least ranked at the Times.
Speaker 2 (05:25):
School at the time.
Speaker 1 (05:26):
Okay, right, Florida has has since lost two additional games,
and who Yeah, And and Boise also doesn't look quite as.
Speaker 2 (05:39):
Yeah, boys, doesn't look all that great. They they struggled
against Air Force last I think it was last weekend
or the weekend before, but they haven't looked great at all.
I understand the love for us. Have understand they have.
They have a couple of wins that uh looks good
on paper, but yeah, how good really is Boise State?
(06:01):
How good really is Florida? Florida's offense is just a disaster. Defense, yes, defense,
but offense. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (06:11):
I don't want to I don't want to spend all
day picking my twelfth team just or the fifth conference
just so they can turn around and lose again next week.
So I don't want to spend too much more time
on this. I think Memphis, North Texas, and South Florida
have the best but very different cases.
Speaker 2 (06:34):
Okay, so who do you say, Jared, Then.
Speaker 1 (06:38):
Let's go with Memphis, but you know, we might we
might change that next week. Let's be real and we
can move too laying down all right, all right.
Speaker 2 (06:55):
B tier? Is there anybody worth moving down out of
B tier?
Speaker 1 (07:00):
Well, first, before we do that, well, we decided not
to move USF up so we can we can get
them out of the way. Alabama and maybe even more
so Indiana. Indiana had a hell of a showing last week.
Speaker 2 (07:18):
Who would you who would you move out?
Speaker 1 (07:21):
That's the problem.
Speaker 2 (07:21):
Put Indiana, that's the problem.
Speaker 1 (07:24):
I don't see anyone who I wanted to demote to
put Indiana in. But Indiana is also pretty damn deserving.
Indiana feels like the the very top class of B
Tier right now. Quite frankly, I kind of think Texas,
A and M is overrated. I think there's some overrated
(07:45):
teams up there, but I don't know if I'm willing
to I think Oklahoma's overrated. I think these states will
probably play themselves out. Quite frankly, I kind of would
rather have Indiana up there than Oklahoma. So if you so,
if you're making me choose, Oklahoma would be the team
(08:06):
I drop out. Yeah, now that they lost their quarterback,
you can drop Oh you I don't. I don't know
if I want to preemptively punish them. That feels unfair
to me.
Speaker 2 (08:17):
If if a team slips, Indiana tentatively could go into
a tier. So yeah, I would agree.
Speaker 1 (08:23):
I think drop Oklahoma.
Speaker 2 (08:26):
Yeah, yep, they are They're They're right there, They're right there.
We'll see what Oklahoma does. But yeah, with with their
quarterback being out for the unforseeeable future, Uh, it's pretty
he had to hands heart, it's pretty foreseeable.
Speaker 1 (08:42):
I think he's gone for the gear is it is
throwing him and it doesn't matter. We move forward. We
don't have time for this teams dropping out of B tier.
Illinois got slaughtered by Indiana. Uh, you taw stuck in
it for a while against Texas Tech, and then things
(09:04):
really fell apart at the end for them in South Carolina.
I don't know if I want to spend the time
making the case for M TIER today, but there's there's
a case to M tier them.
Speaker 2 (09:20):
Did they have expectations because I did?
Speaker 1 (09:22):
Yeah, I like I think they were. Weren't they They
were preseason top like maybe not ten, but they were
close to the top ten. Preseason AP.
Speaker 2 (09:35):
They were thirteen. Yeah, pretty cool start of the season.
Speaker 1 (09:42):
So yes, there, we didn't have expectations. There was a
lot of hype around sellers. Did there was a lot
of Yes, there was a lot of hype there. You
and I didn't in particularly buy into it. In the
same way we didn't really buy into the Illinois hype either.
You and I have been telling everyone to slow their
(10:03):
role on Illinois since the beginning of August.
Speaker 2 (10:08):
What do you say is the Spikes Do you think
they go to M tier. I don't think it's because
I didn't have expectations for South Carolina.
Speaker 1 (10:15):
He says not. But but they're definitely not be tier
any longer. That we can not be tier.
Speaker 2 (10:20):
They're not B tier Utah?
Speaker 1 (10:25):
Gosh, what what? What?
Speaker 2 (10:26):
What? What do we do with the Utah? Do we
keep them in B tier? Do we do we see tier?
Speaker 1 (10:35):
Do we think the Big Twelve? Do we think the
Big Twelve is going to place more than one team?
Speaker 2 (10:42):
Gosh, that's I think at this point.
Speaker 1 (10:45):
No, No, Kyle, I I really think that. I I
honestly asked that in a very rhetorical sound.
Speaker 2 (10:56):
They need a lot of help to get to in it,
and those two is going to be it's Texas Tech
and Iowa State right now?
Speaker 1 (11:03):
Well, there's Iowa State, there's BYU, there's Arizona State. I
think there's a lot of teams in the conversation before
Utah at this point.
Speaker 2 (11:14):
Sure, Okay, yeah, I'd just say put them in into
C tier for right now. Yeah, I think Illinois Illinois.
Such a terrible loss Illinois, that's.
Speaker 1 (11:24):
And they don't I don't think they have the schedule
to like come back in a convincing way either, especially
a big twelve.
Speaker 2 (11:32):
You need a big win against like Ohio State, which
I don't see. So give them in tier. I think
that's fine. Uh, anybody else to move down to up
to be tier or maybe down to M tier.
Speaker 1 (11:46):
Georgia Tech has a lot of hype right now. I
personally think they're wildly overrated. I don't think they are deserving.
I think the AP has them at like sixteen sixteen
right now. I think that's wildly over hyped if you
look at their wins and how they've won them. However
they are, they have a really weak Austin is pointing
(12:08):
this out in the Discord server today, and while I
do not like Georgia Tech, it has to be pointed
out that they are the only or there. There's only
three teams in the ACC currently ranked. Georgia Tech is
one of them. And Georgia Tech does have a pretty
soft schedule ahead of them, so it's entirely possible they
sneak into the ACC Conference game. You maybe get an upset.
(12:32):
I think that's kind of definitionally the bubble, even though
I don't actually like them that much.
Speaker 2 (12:38):
Yeah, I think they have to be in the bubble.
I really do think they have to just because of
their schedule. So yeah, I think it beadedul in week
conference Yep. Okay, we could talk.
Speaker 1 (12:51):
About TCU, but I don't think we need to make
that case this week. We could talk about Michigan. I
don't think we need to make that case this week.
Speaker 2 (12:58):
What about what about Syracuse?
Speaker 1 (12:59):
Way?
Speaker 2 (13:00):
What about Syracuse? When over?
Speaker 3 (13:02):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (13:03):
Okay, everyone's beating plus who cares? That doesn't mean anything anymore.
We could talk about USC, I don't I don't feel
a ton of urgency to move USC up. Same with Vanderbilt. Yeah,
you can talk to see Vanderbilt, but I don't have
a ton of urgency to move them up personally.
Speaker 2 (13:19):
Well, let's say let's say USC wins this weekend and
Champagne maybe maybe, maybe then they can move up to
be tier.
Speaker 1 (13:29):
Yeah. Well that's what I'm saying, Like, I think they're
a team that belongs. I'm I'm so this this. If
you're watching the YouTube version of this over on the rights,
I have some teams sort of isolated from the rest
of the grouping. I've started to in my head affectionately
refer to this as C plus. These are the C
plus teams.
Speaker 2 (13:50):
I don't I don't think there's really anybody else from
what I'm what I'm seeing, what I'm seeing here, there's
some teams that, yeah, they can move their way up,
but they need yeah, they need to prove it on
the field at first. I know some people are looking like, well,
what about Vanderbilt. They they've been taking care of business,
they're undefeated. Sure, sure, but competitive s.
Speaker 1 (14:12):
Yep. I really don't see them on the playoff bubble
when it's just the the road aheads.
Speaker 2 (14:22):
I think Alabama, l s U, Texas and Tennessee on
their schedule still.
Speaker 1 (14:29):
Right, Yeah, I just listen. Maybe we'll see, but sure.
You know, the thing is, do I think Vanderbilt is
better than Georgia Tech? Yes, yes, I do, But the
schedule ahead of them, the talent needed to make it
to the playoff is unfortunately totally different. I think we're
(14:54):
good on the tier list for now, Kyle.
Speaker 2 (14:56):
I think we're good. I think this is this is
good and and stays in M tier.
Speaker 1 (15:03):
Kyle, in the I don't know how long we've been
doing the tier list. At this point, we've only ever
once had a team earned their way back out of
M Tier. It was LSU either last year or the
year before. All right, we don't I think that's back
out of M tier lightly.
Speaker 2 (15:23):
All right, I think I think that's it. We'll go
ahead and lock them in there and we'll take our
first ad break. The slootcast dot com is your go
to link for anything and everything slipcast related. You can
find our Patreon, Discord, merch, Spotify, YouTube. Did I mentioned
in Discord? Maybe I did. I'll mention it again Discord
dot the slutcast dot com. Uh. You can find all
(15:46):
those links and more over at the slu cast dot com.
Take out the first ad break and be right back.
Speaker 1 (15:57):
All right, Cayle, It's time to do some sloop picks.
But first, let's look at the scoreboard. Kyle, you.
Speaker 2 (16:11):
Backwards.
Speaker 1 (16:12):
I did that backwards? You had you had five, I
had three. I messed this up the second I looked
at it. I know I messed it up. Last week.
You had five, I had three. So go ahead and
swap those around in your head and adjust the score accordingly.
I'm not up by one, Kyle's up by well, it
(16:35):
would be two three three three. So yeah, but we're
both still ahead of our guest pickers, and sun Card
won the web picks last week, making up for that
one point performance from when he was the highlighted guest picker.
Guest picking today will be odin from the discord and
(17:02):
I'll make sure to fix that before next week.
Speaker 2 (17:05):
Yeah, all right, let's let's go ahead and get right
into it. So the first game we're going to talk about,
I guess you have Washington Ohio State up there. We
will we will do more about that. I did do it,
didn't I Uh.
Speaker 1 (17:24):
We normally put Washington in Ohio or we normally put
the Ohio State game on the bottom. But you did this,
and I just decided to let you. I'm like, maybe
Kyle has a reason for doing it like this, and
I just rolled with it.
Speaker 2 (17:35):
Yeah, well we locked well when when CBS locked them
in here, Ohio State is a nine and a half
point favorite over Washington. I think since since then, Jared,
I think as of recording, it's down to eight and
a half.
Speaker 1 (17:50):
I think it was down to seven at one point,
although I don't know if it's still there. Why it
dropping because a bunch of money is coming in on
the other side is typically why no, it's just okay.
Once again, Vegas is not a reflection of reality. Vegas
is a reflection of people's opinion. If something starts at
(18:14):
nine and a half and everyone starts throwing money at
the underdog, then Vegas goes, oh, we put too much
on the underdog. So then they start to move the
number down because at the end of the day, Vegas
just wants it to go as close to fifty to
fifty as possible so they can just collect on fees.
(18:35):
That's what they want to do. It will be granting though.
That's fine, all right, I'm not so.
Speaker 2 (18:40):
We're just gonna We're just gonna pick them here. We'll
go more into it in the next episode. But I
have Ohio State covering.
Speaker 1 (18:51):
I also have Ohio State covering. What does what does
Zoden have to say? I?
Speaker 2 (19:00):
Oh, I think you put in my direct messages? I
sure did you did? I needed I need a copy
put that in. He has the beck Eyes to cover.
Speaker 1 (19:14):
If you want to. If you want more detailed, what
is magical format? Odin used? Oh, well, we'll send it
to you. He didn't specifically say it was okay for
public display, so I'm not going to public display it.
But it's it's just it's goofy.
Speaker 2 (19:32):
I'll share it afterwards to you.
Speaker 1 (19:33):
See spikes. Yeah, but yeah the If you want more,
want more in depth thoughts on Ohio Sate versus Washington,
make sure to watch our Thursday episode. Know You're enemy?
Speaker 2 (19:47):
Right, All right, let's let's move on here. Florida State
heading over to Virginia. Florida State is a seven and
a half point favorite in this game. Who do you
gotten this one? Jared?
Speaker 1 (20:04):
I'll be honest, Kyle, looking down through these lines, a
lot of these lines don't make.
Speaker 2 (20:08):
Sense to me, yep, And I would agree.
Speaker 1 (20:12):
That that probably means I'm gonna have a terrible week.
That probably means that there's like a lot of traps
out there and that I'm going to walk straight into
those traps. But I screw it. I'm going on. I'm
going on instinct here. Uh seven and a half Kyle,
that is not enough.
Speaker 2 (20:34):
I agree that is not enough. I will take seminoles
for the.
Speaker 1 (20:38):
Cover as well. Exactly.
Speaker 2 (20:39):
Spikes, All right, Next up, we have what about Oh yeah,
I forgot Odin. Odin has his vote for the Seminoles
as well.
Speaker 1 (20:53):
See this is a bad sign. This is just a
bad sign.
Speaker 2 (20:57):
USC on the road, as I mentioned on the road
to Champagne. Yeah, Champagan, Champagan. Six and a half point
favorite for the Trojans. I'll go ahead and start us off,
and I I think we saw who Illinois really is.
I think I think we did. I I've got the
(21:21):
Trojans to win and cover on the road. It would
be two straight home losses for the Illini.
Speaker 1 (21:29):
You gonna try that again? Okay, here's the thing. Spikes
asks a very important question in the chat. Is that
a noon game? That is it is.
Speaker 2 (21:43):
A noon game, which I'm surprised nine o'clock body clock
for USC, ten ten o'clock Jared, No, it's not, Ellen.
Speaker 1 (21:55):
Oh, Illinois, Illinois is Central My bad.
Speaker 2 (21:57):
Uh huh. They are.
Speaker 1 (22:01):
Ten o'clock person mm hmm. But still ten o'clock body clock.
Still not great? Sure sure, I'm not saying it's going
to cause USC to lose. I am surprised that USC
was favored by that much to begin with. Give me
Illinois all right?
Speaker 2 (22:22):
And Odin has also is going with you, Jared and
is picking the team in Orange, Illinois. All right, next
up here, I think three thirty kickoff.
Speaker 1 (22:40):
Let me say this. I've just real quick. I I've
been I've been pumping the brakes on Illinois all season.
I also don't like USC that much. For the record, like.
Speaker 2 (22:57):
That's lsul ellis on the rule. Let me try that again.
LSU on the road to take on oh Miss. LSU
is is a on the road, an underdog by one
and a half point. I believe, Jared, it is your turn.
(23:21):
So who do you got in this one? Get ole
miss one and a half or do you got LSU
to cover? Uh?
Speaker 1 (23:28):
Yeah, you know. I think LSU has their offensive issues.
Don't get me wrong. I they're flawed, but I get
to pick them as an underdog against an old miss
team that I also don't like that much. Yeah, I'm
gonna take it. I'm gonna take LSU as a dog.
Speaker 2 (23:50):
You know who? Lane Kiffen reminds me of Jared.
Speaker 1 (23:54):
I can think of several answers to that. I don't
know how many of them are appropriate for the podcast.
Speaker 2 (24:02):
He is the s He's SECS version of James Franklin.
I feel that he struggles to win the big games.
He has. He has good talent, but just struggles. He
went wins some games, but when when the games really
come down and really matter to win, he struggles. He struggles.
(24:23):
And I and I feel this is another one of
those games that should win here and to elevate the
Rebels to a potential playoff birth here. But I just
have no faith in in Lane Kiffin. Like he just
he just hasn't really proven as as a head coach
(24:46):
to really win the big ones consistently. I got I
got l s U two cover in this one.
Speaker 1 (24:52):
I'll point out that he didn't win the he struggled
to win the big one as as an offensive coordinator
to as the highest that might remember. Uh huh Odin
is also taking LSU he.
Speaker 2 (25:06):
Is, Yes, go back to the tab here all right.
Indiana coming off the big, big win on the road
against Illinois on the road again, it's time to Iowa
in Iowa City taking on the Hawkeyes. Indiana. Uh only
(25:29):
a seven and a half point victory when they after
they had that throbbing seven and a half point favorite. Yep,
even after that throbbing of a beat down against Illinois
last last weekend. Uh it is my pick. I don't
(25:50):
think that's enough. I don't think that's enough. I think
I think Indiana's got the offense they they've got. They
just got it going on on offense here, and I
was not going to be able to put up enough points.
So I will take the uh woers mm hmm.
Speaker 1 (26:12):
Uh, he wins google ing.
Speaker 2 (26:16):
Guess what he.
Speaker 1 (26:19):
And Odin also give give me sig In the in
the Indiana Boys, and.
Speaker 2 (26:26):
The Odin also picks the Hoosiers as well.
Speaker 1 (26:33):
Are we gonna have one difference this entire match, this
entire week?
Speaker 2 (26:37):
I don't know. Maybe, I don't know. We'll find out here.
Oregon on the road to Happy Valley night game night
game in and Happy Valley. Penn State three and a
half point favorite at home. So what Vegas is telling
(27:02):
us here, Jared, is that and a neutral site Penn
State is a six point favorite. Oh no, no, no,
I'm sorry, no, I got that backwards. Okay, so sure
it is it is? Yep, there it's a pick them, then.
Speaker 1 (27:17):
It's a neutral site pick them according to Vegas math.
Speaker 2 (27:22):
Yes, okay, all right, who do you who do you got, Jared?
Speaker 1 (27:25):
Do you have uh the these these this is not
a neutral site pick them. In my opinion, I think
Oregon is much better. You've already mentioned James Franklin's propensity
for losing the games that matter the most. I think
this team has severe issues on the offense. I think
(27:46):
Oregon has some defensive issues, but I don't think Penn
State's equipped to take advantage of.
Speaker 2 (27:50):
Them, especially what we've we've seen so far early on here.
They they needed, they need to get it together here,
and from what I've seen as well, I think the
Ducks get it done on the road. So I'll pick
the Ducks as well. Odin also Jared agrees with us.
Speaker 1 (28:18):
This is I don't know, I just I just don't
like the spread of this chart. It doesn't make me
feel good.
Speaker 2 (28:25):
Odin is just sticking with you for every every, every
game here. So we'll go to the last one here
see see if we can separate Alabama on the road
taking on Georgia three and a half point favorite for
the Dogs at home. It is my pick, Jared, just
(28:54):
just a gut feeling here. I think this is going
to I think this is just going to be an
the game to watch this weekend. I know that. Yeah,
Oregon and Penn State.
Speaker 1 (29:06):
I think, But I think Oregon destroys Penn State.
Speaker 2 (29:09):
I think. I think this is going to be just
down to the wire, finger finger biting type of game here,
So just a very scrappy type of game. So I
will pick. I will pick Alabama with those points there,
(29:31):
maybe not to win, I know, maybe not to win,
but at least to cover.
Speaker 1 (29:34):
Listen, I know Saban's not there anymore, so like I
get Bama and points. Isn't quite as exciting as it
was a couple of years ago. But still I get
Alabama and points, Alabama and points.
Speaker 2 (29:51):
Yeah, and Odin has his vote all the way over
to the dogs. All right, I got, I got, I
got a nice trend. I got a nice trend. There.
Speaker 1 (30:06):
You want one hundred percent with the away teams?
Speaker 2 (30:09):
I did?
Speaker 1 (30:11):
You went one hundred percent away teams, And by the way,
I only took one home team, so I'm not even
all that different.
Speaker 2 (30:19):
Mm hmm, bold strategy. Yeah, all right, awesome, all right.
With the very limited time we have left here, Jared's
to a chaos pick did well?
Speaker 1 (30:33):
Yeah? Yeah, chaos? Nope, that's that's a that's a preview
for next episode. I want to see to do chaos theory. Yeah,
all right, so I already have just real quick, already
have los up here. Yep, he's taking Utah State to
(30:56):
get the upset over Vanderbilt. I do want dislike that
pick at all. I think that's a solid pick.
Speaker 2 (31:09):
Yeah, I think that might be a pretty close game.
What is that? Twenty one and a half point for Vanderbilt?
Ooh ooh lit, Yeah, I listen, I don't Yeah, it's
about to say, I don't.
Speaker 1 (31:21):
I don't know. I don't know if you thought State
it's gonna pull that off or not. In fact, I'm
pretty sure they won't. I may have just been being
nice to Odin, but for twenty one and a half.
Speaker 2 (31:33):
Points, sure, sure.
Speaker 1 (31:39):
I'll let you know.
Speaker 2 (31:40):
Kyle, I am picking, don't you Dare? Don't you Dare?
Speaker 1 (31:46):
Well, I don't know what you don't mean, Dare, but
I'm gonna go with Auburn. They're playing number nine. If
you can remind me what those points are, i'd appreciate
that they're playing number nine. Texas Tech or excuse me,
Texas A and M. Who I am.
Speaker 2 (32:06):
Seventeen points, seventeen points on the road at Kyle Field,
which I will say is a great name first for
a for a field seventeen points. I have Jared, I
still I still have him as my dark horse of
great quarterbacks that I enjoy. He had a great year
(32:29):
last year. He's off to a to it's an okay
to solid start, undefeated this year, going on the road
taking on another undefeated team. Okay, Noah, Noah fifitta. Yeah,
and those Arizona Wildcats upsetting the Cyclones of Iowa State.
Speaker 1 (32:53):
I like that pick.
Speaker 2 (32:57):
And that Jared. If I'm looking at the points there,
not as much as yours, but it would be twelve
points if the Wildcats come up with that victory.
Speaker 1 (33:09):
All right. Once again, Odin is predicting Utah State to
pull the upset, Kyle's predicting Arizona to pull the upset,
and I am picking Auburn to pull the upset. All right, that, Kyle,
I think, is it for this episode of the Sloop
Cast unless you have something in Kyle's corner.
Speaker 2 (33:35):
No, I don't think so. I I think this was
a weekend a lot of people had circled on their
calendars a lot of yeah, a lot of big games here,
obviously the last two that we we talked about there, big,
big games. So yeah, I think I think this would
be a fun, fun weekend to get your chores done
(33:56):
in the morning, grab something good for lunch, sit down,
watch the state game, and then you get to enjoy
some two two really tough tough teams going at it,
or two games with four teams going right at it.
Speaker 1 (34:14):
There you go. Tonight Tonight's ending music brought to you
by an Ohio based band called Motorbike, spelled exactly the
way you would expect the word motorbike to be to
be spelled that you know, if you're asking for my
two cents on it and no one is, that's not
great s c O. But it's it's a good familiar name.
But that's that's the name of tonight's band. As always,
(34:37):
if you're watching us on YouTube, we don't actually play
the music at the end of the show. However, if
you go down to the show notes, there is in
fact a link to the song. If you're listening to
the audio version of that, the song is already playing. Maybe.
So with all that being said, I'd like to encourage
everyone to drink local beer, listen to local music, and
of course sports local podcasters. Once again, this is motorbike.
Speaker 3 (35:11):
Around the round the self self as a confusion self,
last of shelters, the skelf, but not bad and so
(35:42):
Supulation has been talking scows stones, So the end of
Speaker 1 (38:12):
