Speaker 1 (00:45):

Speaker 2 (00:46):
Doing good?

Speaker 1 (00:47):
Sniper spikes?

Speaker 2 (00:53):
There you go, chat chat lot disappoint Yeah yeah, yeah,
thanks Jared. The time of the year.

Speaker 1 (01:02):
Inside Jake Jared's Discord the discord jokes. Can I get
one Kyle's.

Speaker 2 (01:10):
Wolf Pact place? No, no, no, we're not talking about them.
We're not talking.

Speaker 1 (01:16):
About Yeah, thank you.

Speaker 2 (01:19):
We are talking someone deleted on it.

Speaker 3 (01:21):
I just got.

Speaker 2 (01:27):
Wow.

Speaker 1 (01:28):
Wow, Oh that's so funny you're talking about this. Sorry, sorry,
sorry to all the podcast listeners. This is some discord
goofrey going on right now. Discord dot the slipcast dot com.

Speaker 2 (01:43):
Always be plugging, all right. I know your enemy, Minnesota, Jared,
Golden Gophers coming into this season. Uh undefeated, Jared, No,
I'm sorry, No, we all we all came into this
almost got it. Wait three and one, coming into this
game three and one with coming off a three point

(02:07):
victory over Rutgers. Now, we were talking to Jared about
Rutgers here real briefly before before we started recording here. Yeah,
Rutgers has a pretty okay, I can't say it because
we're within that ten minutes, but has a pretty killer
alternative logo.

Speaker 1 (02:26):
Their secondary logo is amazing and I love it, and
they should make it their primary logo. But ky, we're
not talking about Rutgers or logos today.

Speaker 2 (02:34):
Yeah, we are talking about Jared's Golden Gophers here. So
let's let's get to know our enemy here. Looking at
the stats here, if you're on if you're watching us
on YouTube, you can see a bunch of numbers, bunch
of names on here. So trying to break try to
break this down here, but overall here looking at the
numbers offense, defense, players on the offense and defense, kind

(03:00):
of middle of the road, kind of a middle of
the road team, and it's kind of what you expect
from this Minnesota team. Points per game only about twenty
two points, letting up twenty one points a game, middle
of the road of points per play, yards per game,

(03:22):
yards per play. I think the only thing that they
really stand out here, Jared is on the rushing defense.
They are number ten in the country only letting up
eighty three yards per game and thirteenth and yards per
rush at two point eight yards per carry. I think

(03:43):
it's probably the two things that really stick out, as
well as their third down conversion on offense fifty pretty
darn good, Pretty darn good.

Speaker 1 (03:52):
And I want to say, in case anyone's curious, these
stats do exclude Northwestern State.

Speaker 4 (04:00):
Just but.

Speaker 1 (04:03):
Even beyond that, the competition has not been great. Buffalo,
who they quite frankly struggled against. They lost to California,
that's the Cow. Not very good team. They did defeat Rutgers,

(04:27):
as Kyle points out, by by a field goal last week. Kyle,
who loses the cow?

Speaker 5 (04:40):
Uh?

Speaker 2 (04:41):
Minnesota?

Speaker 1 (04:41):
Apparently apparently Minnesota loses loses to Cow.

Speaker 2 (04:47):
Apparently everybody loses the cow so far? Oh no, No,
they do have the one lost to San Diego State,
but they're three and one or four in one.

Speaker 1 (04:55):
Jared, Yeah, as multi points out, not san Diego's date.
Uh Malti also said San Diego State beats Minnesota forty
seven to zero by the transit of property. I'm not
gonna fact check.

Speaker 3 (05:10):
Him on that.

Speaker 1 (05:10):
I'm just gonna I'm just gonna I'm just gonna roll
with that as a as a fact. All Right, Kyle,
uh pros cons Minnesota. You mentioned that their run defense
is pretty good, both in terms of yards per game
and and yards per rush. I don't know that they've

(05:32):
faced again the competition has not been great, which really
which I mean on the offensive side, they're one hundred
and fifth and one hundred and eighth rushing offense, and
again the competition has not been good.

Speaker 2 (05:52):
Yeah, they are. They are using their backup running back,
their their starter, deary is Taylor. Uh. I'm going to say,
I'm gonna assume he's he's out because he's been. He
was out last weekend against Rutgers. I don't he's coming

(06:13):
off a leg injury. I just don't know if if
he's going to be ready for for the House State game.
But that's why I like the numbers does appear all
that great because it with your main running back out
and all that, so uh fame, Uh is your boy?
Is your boy? Is your boy? That's your boy.

Speaker 1 (06:36):
We're going with it.

Speaker 2 (06:37):
We are just rolling with it. Is your is Minnesota's
starter here? Thirty five carries one hundred and seventy three
yards touchdown. Not the not the greatest numbers there. Uh,
but they do have a couple of wide receivers that
they like to get the ball to.

Speaker 6 (06:55):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (06:55):
Javon Tracy uh let me make Brockington and and and
Jalen Smith all all with a good amount of catches and.

Speaker 1 (07:07):
Touch Jamison to go with them and Jamison Greer is
also very active in their passing game their tight end,
so they like to pass it around. Drake lindsay their
quarterback has been good. Okay, Yeah, he's doing good. He's fine.

(07:28):
It's it's not going to be. Yeah, multi, he's not
gonna be not gonna be nearly as good as is
what we saw last week with Williams by any means.
But he's also, you know, a competent quarterback. He's not

(07:48):
he's he's he's a Minnesota quarterback. Like I don't I
don't know how else to say it, Like he's he's fine,
he's fine. It's not like, oh man, he's terrible. Highest
State gonna I don't you know, I don't mean to
like dismarriage him. But at the same time, certainly not

(08:09):
the talent that Ohio State faced a quarterback last week
on the defensive side of the ball. As Multi points
out in the chat Koy Parish White Boy of the Year,
I I do really like Koy Parish. He is an excellent,
excellent player. He's there. He's their best defensive back, I'd

(08:32):
say with respect to John Nester, who who's also very good.
But but but Butkoy Parish I think is a really
special player. Who else they have on the defense?

Speaker 3 (08:47):
Uh?

Speaker 2 (08:50):
Oh?

Speaker 1 (08:53):
I talked about their defensive backs?

Speaker 2 (08:55):
Yeah, yeah, no, they're Anthony Smith has is their defensive
and has four and a half sacks already. DEVN Eastern
actually has a lot of tackles for being a defensive
tackle already eleven tackles. John nesteror their defensive bat Well,

(09:16):
you talked about the defense backs already. Sorry, the linebackers
Devon Williams thirty one tackles already and Maverick Brandanowski I
like that named Maverick Brandanowski twenty five time, twenty five
tackles for the season so far. Again nothing nothing kind

(09:38):
of like really screams out. But definitely definitely their safety
as there is I think is really the key player
to watch for Minnesota's defense.

Speaker 1 (09:48):
Born to have sacks for Anthony Smith is pretty good.
They are fifth in the country defensively speaking, with their
sack rates about eleven and a half percent, which puts
them fifth in the country, So that's very impressive on
their part. Again, competition or lack thereof acknowledged about middle

(10:12):
of the road offensively is as far as their sack
rate goes, yeah, I mean it's blitz heavy or getting
home with four. Their sacks are with the with the
exception of Anthony Smith, who is is their primary pass rusher,

(10:33):
I would say, at least statistically, outside of that, the
sacks have been very spread around, including their linebackers, including
their safeties. So they won't blitz Ohio State. So it
doesn't matter. Austin does a very good point, I imagine,
because this is just how teams play Ohio State now

(10:55):
that they're just gonna soft shell the entire time they're
they're they're gonna forest Ohio State to put together a
you know, and they have the safeties to do it. Like,
you know, how don't I say this Minnesota's the middle
of the road Big Ten team, which means they have deficiencies,
but they still have very good players. They have deficiencies

(11:19):
that you can take advantage of that there are holes
in their roster, but that doesn't mean that there aren't
really good players on the team. You know, they have
really good pass Russian Anthony Smith. Two really good defensive
backs in Nestor and Parish Maverick Brandanowski, really good linebacker

(11:42):
Devon Williams, really good linebacker. They have good players, but
they don't have twenty two players at that level, if
that makes sense. They have that right. What's his name?
Oh yeah, Phillip Daniels ah oops. Austin says they won't

(12:11):
blitz High States, so it doesn't matter, at least not
often enough for it to matter. They'll go cover two,
slash four, mix in cover one with Parish. Yeah, they've
got a Lamborghini in the trailer park in Parish. Yeah.
That's it, really is. And I want to say that

(12:32):
he's not. They have some very good players on their defense.
I want to be very clear on that they have
enough good players on their defense that they can, like
I said, execute that soft shell, force Ohio State to
put together long drives. Ohio State's not gonna score thirty
five at half time against Minnesota. I'm not gonna score

(12:52):
twenty eight at halftime against Minnesota. We will not see
the starter the rather the second string start the second
half against Minnesota. That being said, at High State should
win fairly easily.

Speaker 2 (13:06):
Yeah, I but don't think I agree. I think there
will be times that we see Minnesota's defense be able
to do well and make a stop here or there,
but being able to try to deal with Ohio State's
offense for sixty minutes not not going to be sustainable.

(13:28):
I think I think this is going to be. Yeah,
I think what was the over twenty three and a half? Yeah,
I think it was twenty three and a half here, Yeah, yeah,
I how State may cover that at halftime.

Speaker 1 (13:43):
I don't know. I don't know about that. I mean
because Spike's spikes asks the important question how many possessions
are we getting? That's the thing.

Speaker 2 (13:54):
Ohio State's been averaging what was it seven or eight?
Just under Yeah, I think it's right around seven, might
be just under or just over seven possessions a game.
We had seven last.

Speaker 1 (14:10):
Week, especially if you exclude Grambling.

Speaker 2 (14:12):
Yeah, we had seven against Texas, and I believe it
was eight against Ohio.

Speaker 1 (14:23):
And it was seven against Minnesota. So and I don't
remember it's against Huh you.

Speaker 2 (14:30):
Said in Minnesota. We haven't played Minnesota yet.

Speaker 1 (14:33):
We also haven't played Wisconsin, Washington, Washington. That's the team,
all right, that that is the team. Yes, that was
a moment.

Speaker 2 (14:46):
I think I think we need to take an ad
break there, Jared.

Speaker 1 (14:49):
Yeah, probably, but but real quick, Austin says, this will
be closer to Washington than to Grambling. I think it'll be, yes, absolutely,
but even then, I think closer to Ohio than than Washington. Yes,

(15:11):
all right, well hold on. He then says, I think
this game will be very similar to the Ohio game.
Closer closer to Washington than Ohio. Excuse me, closer to
Ohio than Washington, but definitely in between the two. Definitely
in between the two, but closer to Ohio. All right,

(15:35):
col let's take that at break, all right?

Speaker 2 (15:38):
You ready? The sloopcast dot com is your go to
link for anything and everything sloop cast related.

Speaker 6 (15:47):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (15:47):
There you can find all of our links, such as
our merch store, merch dot the sloop caass dot com. Uh. There,
you can find a lot of our t shirts that
Jared has designed and published there for you to purchase
a lot of great sloop cast designs. There some of

(16:10):
our brand episodes, even ones that are we do during
the off season, and like there's one like for a
for a camp camp sloop Cast. I always like the
one that says when you ride alone, you ride with
hardball one. That's a good one.

Speaker 1 (16:27):
That's a World War two propaganda parody. Yeah, I'll just
I'll just I'll just say the original character and that
their name also began with H. I'll let y'all figure
it out from there.

Speaker 2 (16:38):
Yeah, a lot of great designs over there, and more
links over at the sloop cast dot com. We're going
to take our ad break and be right back.

Speaker 1 (16:53):
And they also cheated. Should I make a Cheaters Up
North team T shirt? Yea a way that makes the
acronym obvious.

Speaker 2 (17:05):
See how long that last? See how long that lasts?

Speaker 1 (17:09):
I think that'll be fine. It's you know what, No.

Speaker 2 (17:13):
We're not. I'm not.

Speaker 1 (17:14):
I'm not gonna go on a d M c A
rant right now. I'm not gonna do it. Why would
you even tempt me to do that, Kyle? Anyway, let's
move forward.

Speaker 2 (17:27):
Do some sloop sayers, Jared, let's do something ready for
some do some Sloop says? All right, here we get
to pick some players, some matchups, the spread in the
final score. So let's start off with Ohio State player
to watch. Who do you have for this one? For
Ohio State.

Speaker 1 (17:47):
Player to watch, high state player to watch. I think
to me, I want I want to see Ohio State
continue who get both better and more consistent offensively. The
defense defense's lights out obviously, and I also think Minnesota's

(18:13):
defense is better than their offense. But so so I'm
gonna look high state player to watch. I'm gonna I'm
gonna lean towards the offensive side of things. Bo Jackson,
even if he didn't start last week, he did get
half of the running back carries. I think more than half.

(18:34):
I think half of the total carries and more than
half of the running back carries if I remember correctly.
But so I'm gonna go Bo Jackson. Long story short,
I'm gonna go Bo Jackson here. Get good consistency. You know,
three yards a cloud of dust, that old thing. But
you know, you win on first down, and you went

(18:56):
on second down. You set up some easy third downs
for your red shirt freshman quarterback. That's that's my take here.
I'm gonna go Bo Jackson, right.

Speaker 2 (19:10):
I think in the grand scheme of things, I don't
really think there's a particular player to watch for our state,
but for the sake of the for the show here.
I'm gonna I'm going to show some love Jared to
the slobs. I'm going to show some love to slobs.
Even though I don't think a particular player needs to
play well in order for Ohio State to win. I'm

(19:33):
just I'm gonna go with Carson Hinsman. He's been He's
been absolutely killing it all year. Don't we don't talk,
We don't talk. We don't talk a ton about the
offensive linemen. We talked a little bit here and there
about some of the coverage that they do on the rushing,
pass protection and all that. But Hinsman's absolutely killing it
this year. So I'm going to show some love, show

(19:55):
some love and have him as my Ohio State player
to watch here.

Speaker 1 (20:00):
Austin Sarahveld injured a man by pancaking, and yes he did,
he did, Yes, and to be player to watch. The
The correct answer here is is Coroy Parrish.

Speaker 2 (20:13):
It absolutely is. It absolutely is. But if you're gonna go,
if you're gonna go on the offensive side, I mean
it's gotta I think I probably would go with their
with they're probably their long threat here and that's probably gosh.
I think I think I would go with Uh, Javon

(20:35):
Tracy here, twelve catches for the year, two hundred and
four yards, two touchdowns. If if Minnesota is going to
have a shot in this game here, they they got
to be able to somehow pass against Ohio State and
be able to put up points here because they're they're
not going to be able to to run well against

(20:55):
Ohio States. So I'm gonna I'll pick Javon Tracy here
on the offense.

Speaker 1 (21:04):
I don't dislike that. Answer US and asks what's their
punter's name? Malta VI says Tom Weston is the punter.
I just thought I had to look. Yeah, that's fair.
The player to watch might be the punter.

Speaker 2 (21:22):
Key matchup west Tom Weston. Yep, all right, Uh he's Australian.
By the way, aren't they Australian punter?

Speaker 4 (21:33):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (21:33):
High State has two Australian punters. They're all they're all Australian.
All the punters in college are Australian.

Speaker 2 (21:40):
Mhm, I uh, key matchup? Where do you want to
go with the key matchups here?

Speaker 1 (21:51):
The easy answer is Ohio State's offensive line versus Minnesota's
defensive line. That's the easy answer. It's also the correct answer.
But that's the easy answer. Again, you're trying to you're
trying to be consistent. Key matchup is my attention versus

(22:11):
Miami Florida State. That's that's fair, But you know sometimes
easy answer is the correct answer, that it's our offensive
line versus there how.

Speaker 2 (22:22):
Well, how well can Minnesota's secondary slow down or how
States might receivers is my key matchup?

Speaker 1 (22:31):
All right, all right, all right?

Speaker 2 (22:35):
The spread here, Jared twenty three and a half points
to the home team that wears scarlet and gray.

Speaker 1 (22:42):
And if you watch Collegiate Chaos, you know that we've
both already picked Ohio State to both win and cover.
I think it's gonna be tough for Minnesota to score
in this game. Ohio State has yet to allow a
team to score in double digits. I don't think it
changes this week. I have I'll even put Ohio States

(23:07):
score this low because I think that the possessions are
going to be limited again. So I'm going to go
Ohio State thirty five, and Minnesota gets a late junk
time touchdown and they have seven.

Speaker 2 (23:28):
Very close to me. We were almost exact, Jared. I
added in an extra field goal in there thirty eight
to seven is my final score?

Speaker 1 (23:37):
Yeah. Austin also very close. He's going with the triple
field goal. He has thirty five to nine. Spikes says
thirty four to six. Malty's typing. I bet he's given
us his answer. What's the over under on this? Is

(24:00):
it like forty four?

Speaker 2 (24:02):
Kyle? I'm about to pull it up here.

Speaker 1 (24:06):
I think it's like forty four or forty five.

Speaker 2 (24:09):
Right there right between there, Jared forty forty four and
a half. Yeah, and that's pretty much my point point
right there is forty five.

Speaker 1 (24:21):
So yeah, I'm like, I'm like three under, like two over. Yeah,
it might be high, but I'm going forty five to six.
If they can get they can get forty five to
six if they get like some big plays, if they
can get some big play, especially if you get like
a defensive touchdown or like a like I said, like

(24:44):
a really long play, some turnovers, just something that would
something quick scores to up the total number of possessions
and you could get forty five to six. I think
if they have to go ten twelve play drives, eat
up you know, eight ten minutes, it'll be hard to

(25:04):
get to that number. But big plays, defensive touchdowns, turnovers
that put you right into the red zone. Stuff like that.
You could get forty five. I think the only thing
stopping them from forty five to clock and the number
of opportunities.

Speaker 2 (25:19):
All right, let's let's finish off strong here Jared and
do some Austin over unders.

Speaker 1 (25:28):
All right, let's go.

Speaker 2 (25:31):
All right, let's see. Let me pull this up here.
All right, first one here, Jared, we have Lindsey completion.
So actually he starts off over unders for Jared's Gophers.
Lindsey completion for the game he has set at thirteen
and a half.

Speaker 1 (25:53):
Oh man, that that feels low. I'm not saying it's wrong,
but is low.

Speaker 2 (26:02):
So completions if we're looking here, Jared thirty one completions
against the Rutgers, nineteen against Cal, eight against Northwestern and
hold on Kyle Northwestern State, Northwestern State yep, and then

(26:22):
nineteen against Buffalo.

Speaker 1 (26:24):
Yeah. But I think maybe how long will he be
in the game? And will they throw the ball? They'll
have to throw the ball yeah, over over yeah. And
that's why I want to say overs, because I feel
like they have to throw the ball. They'll have to
throw the ball a.

Speaker 2 (26:42):
Lot, correct, All right? R vel Reese fan favorite here
among the sloop Cats. Here rvel Reese tackles seven and
a half for the game. I'm not even sure what
he's getting here. I'm sure I'm sure Austin. Austin knows

(27:04):
for for picking for picking that one. But that here's
I think I think that's I think that's a good
number for for him here as I'm trying to buy
some time for me looking up his numbers here. Seven
and a half. Yeah, he only broke that once this
year and that was Week one against Texas.

Speaker 1 (27:27):
Once again, I feel like the big, the big challenge
here is the opportunity to get tackles. Yeah, how many
how many first downs is Minnesota actually gonna get? How
much clock is Ohio States offense gonna chew up? How
much time of possessional Minnesota even have? Do the starters
get pulled for the fourth quarter? For all those reasons,

(27:51):
I think, just due to a lack of opportunity to
get tackles, I'm gonna go under.

Speaker 2 (27:55):
Yeah, I'll go under as well for all those reasons
as well. Let's see Minnesota team yards per carry at
three point two three, they are averaging three point three
rushing yards per game or per carry. Excuse me, I'll

(28:22):
go under. That's a good number, but i'll go under.

Speaker 1 (28:29):
Bottom half or well right, ad half. I think actually
technically just barely top half of the nation in sacks
allowed offensively, that's that's gonna be the big and they
might not have their best running back. How many sacks

(28:50):
do they get? That brings down the yards per carry?
I'm gonna go under.

Speaker 2 (28:59):
How State is averaging two point nine yards per rush
allow this season offensively? Yes, all right, so we both
picked under. All right, Jeremiah Smith and Bo Jackson touches
at twenty three and a half. So that means like

(29:20):
Bo's going to get a crap ton of carries, is
how I take that.

Speaker 1 (29:25):
I mean what you said realistically, look at it as
like six, So if you're trying to get to twenty four,
that's like eighteen and six, yeah, which I think is
pretty realistic.

Speaker 2 (29:37):
But I think I think we'll see a lot more
of the other running backs as well. I think other
running backs will get more carries as well, and you
have more opportunities. Just because of that, I'm going to
go under. I think I think Bo will get like
his nine to ten touches and then Jeremiah like five

(29:57):
to seven something like that. So out I'll go under.

Speaker 1 (30:03):
Last week the number was twenty six. Last week the
game was a competition and they kept running bo and
throwing to JJ later in the game, which I don't
think will be the case this week.

Speaker 2 (30:13):
Now under all right, fielding extra points in field goals
plus Ohio State defensive turnovers at seven and a half.
So I have a field goal just just over clear.

Speaker 1 (30:30):
That's extra points in the field goals, So that's just
one point for the field's counting the number of extra points,
the number of field goals, the number of defensive turnovers.
So I have the file score thirty eight, So that's
five touchdowns in a field goal. That means they need
to get two more turnovers, which a house state is

(30:52):
near the very bottom in terms of totally makes as well.

Speaker 2 (31:00):
Yeah, yeah, so I'm gonna go under, maybe the good
one to make that number at seven, but to get motivles,
I just I mean, i'd be happy, but I'm gonna
go with the odds and say under.

Speaker 1 (31:16):
I don't think they're gonna they could force some field goals,
but I think that doesn't necessarily matter touchdown versus field
goal in this particular case. So yeah, I think you
could pretty reliably say five to six scores. And the
problem with as you pointed out, O High States defense

(31:39):
isn't getting much turnovers. Multipoints out the defense isn't getting
much turnovers because again, I don't think there's a lot
of opportunity for turnovers. The other teams aren't getting a
lot of snaps. So I'm gonna go under.

Speaker 2 (31:52):
Here, Okay, all right? Uh Inno and Tate receiving yard
to eighty seven and a half. You know, I'll go over.
I'll go over for this one. I They need to
get some confidence in Inness. I know a lot of
people have been talking about just what's going on with Inness,
like what's is there something going on with him here?

Speaker 1 (32:15):
You know Day separate separate his struggles at punt return
and his wide receiver this.

Speaker 2 (32:22):
Yeah, well he did. Day did say today as we're
recording this on the thirtieth, Jared Day did come out
and say that he is has confident in Brian Innis
on staying as the punt returner as well. Yeah, and
this was in this's best game last week in which
he was third. He was third on the team in

(32:46):
all purpose yards against Washington.

Speaker 1 (32:50):
O High States offense in twenty twenty five is very
too tight end, which is bad news if you're the
slot wide receiver. Sure that that's kind of where So
if you're like, hey, where's all the production from en us,
that's where he hasn't been on the field as much
as we've seen slot receivers be. And I don't necessarily

(33:15):
know if this game will be an exception to that.
So I think Tait is going to have to carry
the bulk of this, but I still think it's very possible.
I also think it's a it's a game where you
can screw it the metrics a bit, so you know
this might be a counter analytic game, would be the

(33:37):
technical way of saying it, put up some counter analytics
and through that by doing by getting the ball into
Tait and to in us his hands. I'm gonna go
over on this one, all right, we both go over.

Speaker 2 (33:50):
If he put return yards too, I'd definitely smash the
over with no hesitation here because like the past two
games here and this has actually done well returning it. Yes,
he had the fumble against Washington, but if you remember
he had like a it was it was almost a
thirty yard punt return against Ohio and he had like

(34:14):
a I think it was like over thirty yards. Was
it thirty yards? It was a pretty good punt return
that he had against Washington, but he did fumble that ball.
But maybe he's finding he's finding some something going on
the punt return though. But going back to Austin's over

(34:37):
unders here and it's the Tate receiving yards eighty seven
and a half. Yeah, jere and I about to picked
over and saying's longest pass at sixty three and a half,
longest pass completion sixty three and a half yards under.

Speaker 1 (34:56):
Yeah, not air yards, it's completion. So if it's five
and it goes for eighty, it still counts. I don't
think this is that game. I think there's a lot
of there's a lot of spots in this Minnesota defense

(35:18):
you can exploit, and I and I don't think that
the top of their defense is that place. I think
that their their safeties are probably the strongest point in
this team. I think that they'll exploit that by going
shell the way everyone's been going shell against Ohio State

(35:38):
so far this year. I just I don't see. I
don't see a big long I don't see a big
long pass through the air. Now, of course, there's always
the possibility that, you know, a five yard pass gets

(35:59):
turned into a seventy yard pass. That when you have
these wide receivers, that's always a possibility. But you know
you can't. You also really can't plan on that. So
I'm gonna go under.

Speaker 2 (36:15):
Okay, I both went under for that one. Oh, we
did pick the same I actually didn't realize that.

Speaker 1 (36:25):
This is the first time this has ever happened. Apparently
according to Austin, who would would know?

Speaker 2 (36:37):
Lord, Yes I would. I honestly wasn't paying attention. I
didn't know. But all right, I think that's it. Any
any left word to Jared.

Speaker 1 (36:52):
Aren't I the ones that is supposed to do the thing?
And I ask you if you have anything in Kyle's corner?
Isn't that how well thought?

Speaker 2 (36:59):
I thought you swap it up for this one?

Speaker 1 (37:01):
Yeah, but you can't ask me if there's anything in Jared.
I mean, I guess you could, but that's not how
we do it. Kyle, Jared, do I have anything? No,
I don't have anything in Jared's corner. I was not
prepared for this. Wait a minute, I do have something

(37:25):
in Jared's corner. You too, you do. We're doing game
posters again. I'll say that the game posters unless other
people are sharing them outside of the Discord, which is welcome.
You guys can download those and share them elsewhere if
you want to, But I'm not posting that. I'm personally

(37:46):
not posting them anywhere other than the Discord. But we
are making game posters again, and I guess I can
just go ahead and open one up and show you
guys right here on the show. As I talk a
little slowly as I find.

Speaker 2 (38:05):
We got we got a new and they they came
up with the name for this. Jared Austin did all right,
Jared's junkyard.

Speaker 1 (38:14):
That works. I'm okay with that. This is our Minnesota
game poster. Sorry, this isn't really formatted for this purpose,
but here you go. It's obviously a Mystery Science Theater
reference with Brutus and Goldie on there. So I guess

(38:38):
maybe maybe I could pull up hide my screen again,
real quick, pull up last week's as well.

Speaker 2 (38:45):
Why not?

Speaker 1 (38:51):
This was our one from last week, which is into
the wild reference. You can only find them on the
Discord server unless other people are sharing them elsewhere. I'm
only putting them in the Discord server. And again, so

(39:12):
unless people are like downloading and posting elsewhere, which once
again you're welcome to do anyone in the Discord server,
I don't care as long as you don't remove the
move our sloop cast water mark from it, or it's
not even a water mark, it's just just in there.
But you know what I'm saying. Anyway, game posters. We

(39:35):
haven't done game posters in a few year. Discord Discord
encouraged me to do it, so I did it. I
don't really have social media. We don't really neither I
nor the show really have social media at this point,
so I didn't really have anywhere else to put it.
So join the discord if you want to see the
new game posters every week. There What did we do

(40:00):
side It was Kyle Jared Jared's junk yard. Okay, that's
Jared's junk yard. We like a literally with that being said,
we asked Snarls go ahead, No, no, no follow through name
of the band of Snarls.

Speaker 3 (40:15):
Do it?

Speaker 2 (40:17):
Nope? No, Really screw up, Jared, I'm going to screw up, Jared,
So really, yes, Jared.

Speaker 1 (40:25):
Just kick us off, coward. No kick off is at
the beginning. You're right, let me handle this. So all
that being said, I'd like to encourage everyone to drink
local beer, listen to local music, and of course sports.
Achael Podcasters once again.

Speaker 3 (40:40):
The name of the band tonight is Snarls.

Speaker 6 (41:13):
The Most steps it form.

Speaker 4 (41:16):
So I don't understand the my heart and shut it, son,
don't shoot the bat and them what says coming down?

Speaker 6 (41:27):
Don't you got me thinking out?

Speaker 4 (41:30):
This is something I don't shut can't you always because.

Speaker 6 (42:11):
It's see more, because it's just that as the most part,
didn't see it. So don't shoot the thing now? So
how you got me? Birs go incerty, you're don know?

Speaker 5 (42:31):
Don't you go?

Speaker 6 (42:33):
Let me go, don't shoot the thing, don't shoot, let
things go.

Speaker 5 (43:09):
