Speaker 1 (00:37):
Anker's up sells a quick. Ok go sleep. That's so good, quick, Jared,
how are you doing good? Doing good? Doing good? We
are what are we doing today's episode? Why what you
tell me? You are?

Speaker 2 (00:53):
Your enemy? Did you see l A thru its? Nico
comes back to Columbus for another night game. I haven't
looked at have.

Speaker 1 (01:07):
I haven't looked at Austin's over unders yet, I hope.
He asks the question. I'm thinking, and I think you
the joke you were about to make.

Speaker 2 (01:17):
I I have not looked at them either yet.

Speaker 1 (01:21):
I didn't ask it you. Okay, okay, over under? How
many helmets? Nico goes through this game one and a
half Jared's over unders.

Speaker 2 (01:33):
Yes, so yeah. Nico comes back to Columbus here open
to believe the first time here. Wait what you're looking for? Jared?

Speaker 1 (01:50):
Just doing that? That's all there?

Speaker 2 (01:52):
We go? All right, all right, So let's let's get
to know our our enemies.

Speaker 1 (01:58):
U c l A.

Speaker 2 (01:59):
Bruins coming into this game three and six. Yeah, game
six coming off of two games skid where they've lost
to Nebraska, destroyed by Indiana, but did have three did
have their three wins right in a row where they

(02:20):
first started off beating Penn State, then then Sparty and
then Maryland.

Speaker 1 (02:25):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (02:28):
I mean I mentioned before, like Nico transferred from Tennessee
is their starting quarterback here.

Speaker 1 (02:35):
Which he insists it wasn't about the money.

Speaker 2 (02:38):
Yeah, sure, Yeah, I'll just say like he's just all
over the place. You look at the games that he's played,
he hasn't had like a really good quarterback game. The
most passing yards he's had all season was to UNLV

(03:02):
for two hundred and fifty five yards. Other than that,
what's his best?

Speaker 1 (03:06):
What's his best in conference?

Speaker 2 (03:09):
In conference two twenty one against Maryland? Yikes, he had
one hundred and thirteen yards against Indiana.

Speaker 1 (03:23):
How many rushing yards did he have against Indiana?

Speaker 2 (03:27):
I'm glad, I'm glad you glad you asked that because
I was just pulling that up. He rushed seven times
for twenty eight yards. But he was sacked three times,
so he only ran the ball four times.

Speaker 1 (03:43):
Gotcha, gotcha?

Speaker 2 (03:43):
Gotcha?

Speaker 1 (03:45):
So Spikes, I'm not sure about what what what? What's
his rushing total for the year? How about that?

Speaker 2 (03:52):
Uh? Well, I will say he leads the team in
rushing yards.

Speaker 1 (03:56):
That's a bad sign.

Speaker 2 (03:59):
That is a very very bad. Somm trying to pull
it up real real quick here. Yeah, he leads the
team in his lashing yards ninety ninety six for four
close seventy four number is on the on the screen. Yeah,
ninety six rushing attempts. Again, he was sacked. He's been
sacked twenty two times. Okay, So he's rushed for seventy

(04:24):
four times, which is two more than their starting running back.
And he's rushed so and he has four hundred and
seventy four rushing yards, four touchdowns, and they're leading running back.
Thomas has two hundred and seventy seven yards on seventy

(04:45):
two carries. And then their second running back, Berger has
two hundred and sixty eight yards on sixty four carries.

Speaker 1 (04:57):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (04:57):
This this, this team lives and from the quarterback. You
contain him, you get pressure on him.

Speaker 1 (05:05):
They live and die by the quarterback. What's their record again?

Speaker 2 (05:09):
Huh three and six? They Yeah, like I said, when
he played well, he rushed a lot of yards against
Penn State. When he's able to get out in space,
they have better success when they don't. Look at Indiana,

(05:30):
they don't.

Speaker 1 (05:32):
Yeah, how is Ohio State done against running quarterbacks?

Speaker 2 (05:36):
This year. Ah, very good, Yeah, very good. If I'm
looking at the.

Speaker 1 (05:42):
User, that's one of those times where I ask you
a question that I already know the answer for the
sake of podcasting. Because Ohio State has faced many mobile
quarterbacks this year, and you know, some of them have
gotten off like a good run, don't get me wrong,
but none of them have had like good overall running days.

(06:09):
Mm hmmm, I mean like and even then there's even
been like a lot of guys weren't necessarily runners but
are very mobile and good scramblers, and even they got
contained for nothing.

Speaker 2 (06:22):
Yeah, because I'm trying, I'm trying to look here, and yeah,
like I think every quarterback who's had some sort of
who's been some sort of mobile has not has not
done that well. I'm trying to see who's who's done
the best here, and I can't. I can't really find it.

(06:43):
I think the number one would have been, uh, Demon
Williams out of Washington. He's very much but but he
was sacked six times. So the number.

Speaker 1 (06:55):
Containing here High State had him contained the entire game
that they they they very deliberately contained his rushing the finals.

Speaker 2 (07:02):
That was thirteen attempts for negative twenty eight yards, right,
so very good?

Speaker 1 (07:10):
Someone have like a twenty didn't want to didn't a
quarterback at some point this year and I can't remember
who it was, like break a scramble for like twenty
yards at one point against Ohio State, And that's honestly
the only time I remember a quarterback really getting loose.
Even then, I can't even remember who it was. So

(07:30):
I'm actually kind of wondering if I'm making it up,
maybe because the backups.

Speaker 2 (07:37):
Possibly possibly, Yeah, I'm trying to. I'm trying to look
here at all the all the other games, and I
don't really see. I mean, Ryan Ryan Brown against Purdue,
he averaged nine yards per carry. He was three for

(07:57):
twenty seven yards on the ground. Okay, but I don't
know if I would really really called that. So no, not.
I'm looking at like all the games here, m M no,
I don't nothing. There's nothing.

Speaker 1 (08:15):
So by the numbers, where is UCLA impressive to you?

Speaker 2 (08:23):
Where?

Speaker 1 (08:24):
Yeah? Like, what what is what is UCLA's best phase?

Speaker 2 (08:31):
I think it's if you're looking at the stats, the
numbers here are the only one that pops out that
they are they're good at is two things. One is
rushing yards per rush. They're averaging just under five yards
per carry.

Speaker 1 (08:45):
That's not bad, really good.

Speaker 2 (08:47):
That's really good.

Speaker 1 (08:48):
Twenty eighth in the country. It's almost like I have
the same.

Speaker 2 (08:51):
And they're also and they're also pretty good at uh
not turning the ball over per game as well. They're
at one point one turnovers per game, which puts about
thirty eighth in the country. Okay, so that's pretty good
as well everything else. Do you look here, They're one

(09:12):
hundred and fifth in points per game, They're one hundred
and ninth in passing yards per game. They are one
hundred and third in and quarterback sacks per play as well.
They're just and the defense is worse. The defense is
worse too. They they can't get to the quarterback. They're

(09:33):
like at the very very bottom at sacks per game.
I think I saw here, Jared, they're leading player on sacks,
has one and a half sacks for the year.

Speaker 1 (09:45):
Nikes, that's a yikes can.

Speaker 2 (09:49):
Get and that would be Anthony Jones. Yeah, that'd be
Anthony Anthony Jones who has one and a half sacks,
and I see a half sack, half one half sack.
They have a total of six sacks for the year.

Speaker 1 (10:09):
Yikes. I'm gonna say yikes again. Now say that they
have statistically been not a bad pass defense, but that
might at least be partially aided by the fact that
they've been behind a lot. They've been behind a lot,

(10:34):
and so maybe other teams are just running the ball
against them to kill clock. Because while they are number
nineteen in the country in passing yards per game, if
you look at that per pass they go all the
way from nineteenth in the country to seventieth in the country.

(10:57):
So that's why you got to look at the averages
per attempted, not just the averages per game.

Speaker 2 (11:03):
Yeah. Penn State Penn State nineteen rushes for two hundred
yards over two hundred over ten yards of pop uh
Sparty Uh sixteen attempts for one hundred and sixty six
yards ten point four a pop. Uh. Maryland twenty three
for two ten nine point one a pop. Indiana nineteen

(11:27):
for two thirteen eleven point two a pop.

Speaker 1 (11:31):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (11:31):
Nebraska thirteen rushing attempt Oh, I'm sorry, I'm reading I
looked at that wrong. Thirty nine attempts for one hundred
and fifty six yards four yards of pop. There I
was looking at the wrong ones. Let me, let me,
let me backtrack there, rushing back forty seven attempts for
two sixty two uh for Indiana, Maryland had one hundred

(11:53):
and twenty seven yards at five yards of pop. Uh Yeah,
Sparty Sparty rush. They held Sparty and check there for
three and a half and Sparty.

Speaker 1 (12:06):
Does Michigan Michigan States still play football.

Speaker 2 (12:10):
Yeah, I know, Okay, and Penn State rush it for
over five yards a carry.

Speaker 1 (12:16):
Adam as well too.

Speaker 2 (12:17):
So uh so teams, teams are running running all over them.
They're running all over.

Speaker 1 (12:24):
Them, as Austin points out in the chat. So if
we struggle rushing this week, it's an issue. Yeah, like
during Scarlett and Grade Kyle, Let's remember that Ohio State
bare minimum and I mean bare minimum, needs to run

(12:45):
for six yards of carry against this team.

Speaker 2 (12:49):
Well, how State is averaging four point two yards per carry,
which is seventy sixth in the country. They are on
the on the wrong side of the middle.

Speaker 1 (13:04):
Right, And I think I think the official number for
FBS is one thirty six at the moment, I think
Massachusetts is the I think Massachusetts is one thirty seven,
but aren't a full member yet if I'm correct, which
I might not be. But point is is that, yeah,

(13:30):
their defense is allowing five point one per carry, Ohio
State needs to get six per carry or we're officially
in panic mode on the state of the of the
rushing attack because also, and this is gonna come up
when we during during Sloop Sayers, I don't expect Ohio

(13:52):
State to try to run the score up. I don't
expect Ohio State to try to, you know, try to
match or compete or even care about what Indiana did
against UCLA two weeks ago, which was Indiana wins that
game fifty six to six. Right. I don't think Ohio

(14:13):
State is gonna be like, we need to go out
and beat Indiana by fifty two points because we need
to do better than Indiana. Higo State doesn't care. We're
gonna see the same thing out of this game from
Ryan Day and the Ohio State buck Eyes that we've
seen out of Ohio State the past few times they've
played a team where they severely overmatch that team, including

(14:34):
last week. I think they're going to just try to win.
They're gonna shot the game there going they Ohio State
wants to win this game. With seven drives. So so.

Speaker 2 (14:52):
As I mentioned, like Ohio State rushing four point two
yards per carry at home, they are four point eight
yards per carry, and on a way from the horseshoe
they are three point seven yards. Right, kind of comparison
of how a High State was last year. They were
averaging five yards of pop. So they got they got some,
they got some groundwork to do.

Speaker 1 (15:13):
Austin says, Ohio State would be fine winning this game
thirty four to seven.

Speaker 2 (15:17):
Ohiote Ohio State would be Ryan Day.

Speaker 1 (15:21):
He wouldn't ever say this out loud. He wouldn't care
if it was twenty one to seven. Now he probably
would because he'd look at all the things that went
wrong from an execution stand he doesn't give a shit
about the final score. I think is my point. If
there was some magical universe in which Ohio State could
win twenty one to seven but still look still execute

(15:43):
really well according to like.

Speaker 2 (15:44):
That that Austin, that would be six of the seven
drives that Ohio State would have scored, and that that
sounds about right.

Speaker 1 (15:52):
Yeah, But Rhin Day would be happy in a universe
in which Ohio State only has four drives that take
twelve minutes apiece and four touchdowns. Ryan Day would be
super happy in that universe.

Speaker 2 (16:05):
Okay, Army, I mean yeah, oh stop it, Austin. Jeez,
all right, anybody else from this UCLA team looking offensively? Here, Gilmer,
you're your way to receiver ninety five yards for the year.

(16:29):
Not really worried about their receivers as well. How State
is just lights out on the passing defense. Passing defense
side number two in the country and yards per pass
number two in the country for opponents yards per game
at one hundred and thirty five yards per game. Yeah,

(16:51):
I'm not worried about Nico trying to throw throw it
against Ohio State here, no defensive defensively, I'm not not
too worried about it as well too. As I mentioned,
like UCLA near the bottom and the vast majority of
the major stats here, points per game, points per play, yards,

(17:13):
yards per play, they are ninety eighth in the country,
letting almost six yards per play play one hundred and
nineteenth and running yards per game one hundred twenty fourth
and running yards per rush one hundred and thirty six.
Then third downs they are letting up over fifty five
percent of third downs on defense, Yeah, I'm not. I'm

(17:37):
not really too worried about UCLA's defense as at all here.
I think this is the kind of game that you've
seen some games that I say, starts to get starts
the game off, passing a lot, get some good momentum going,
get the past game going. I think this is a
good game to be like, Hey, let's work, go on,

(18:00):
let's run. Work on the rushing side here, We've got
to get our offensive line to be able to block
better if they want to, if they want a really
good shot of making a deep run into the playoffs,
because that that's they got. They gotta get the the ball,
go moving on the running on the running attack.

Speaker 1 (18:23):
All right, anything else we want to get to know
about U c l A before we move on.

Speaker 2 (18:28):
I think that's it. I think that's it. We'll go

Speaker 1 (19:31):
Back, all right, Cole after the sloop says yes, sir Ohio,
I was waiting for you to do it. You're waiting
for me to do it.

Speaker 2 (19:50):
You're you want player to watch in this game here, Jared, Uh,
I'll start. I'll start with you the guard. Who is
your Ohio State player? To watch?

Speaker 1 (19:59):
The guards here, the Ohio State. If they want to
run better, the guards have to play better. And I
know every year Ohio State fans pick escapegoat or two
and they ride that person and it typically it starts
off in a justified area and then balloons into unjustified territory.

(20:20):
It's typically how that goes. And I think that's what's
happening to Taker Chibowler right now. And I'm not saying
he's been perfect. I'm not saying he's even been all
that good. But you know, the hates has ballooned into
this big thing. But I'm here to tell you that
the entirety of the interior offensive line is not run

(20:40):
blocking right now, and you there is blame to spread around,
I guess, is my point. I agree, frankly, there is.
You know, I think you know everyone talks about you know,
you have two high draft pick running backs.

Speaker 2 (20:59):
Leave.

Speaker 1 (21:00):
I'm telling you right now. Yeah, there's issues with the
run game design right now. There's coaching issues and how
the run game is being designed. There is blocking issues
with the interior of the offensive line. The run game
is a larger issue than like the right guard point being,

(21:24):
it's it is too much zone. First of all, I
agree h point being is that the fans have chosen
a scapegoat, and that's a far too simplified point players
to watch. I'm taking all three of the interior offensive
linemen who need to block better this game.

Speaker 2 (21:45):
Yeah, I wasn't going to pick one. I was going
to pick the entire offensive line on the on the
running sell.

Speaker 1 (21:50):
I picked three of them.

Speaker 2 (21:52):
Sure, I'm picking. I'm picking all the slobs. It's it's
all five of them that needs Actually, I mean it's
it's the tight ends as well too, needs to get
in there and help help block better as well too.
So I'm just just overall, it's it's the running attack
like that. The team has got to get better with.

Speaker 1 (22:12):
That, right, Yeah, I mean nothing and says but nothing's
been catastrophic. Yeah, just like I said, it starts with fair,
honest criticism that balloons into ridiculous levels of scapegoating. And
that happens to someone every year.

Speaker 2 (22:31):
Mm hmm. Enemy player to watch, I mean, it's it's Nico.
There's there's no sugarcoating. There's there's no oh, second player,
Oh it's this person. No, it's it's Nico. That's that's
the enemy player to watch.

Speaker 1 (22:47):
I agree, I mean there's if I really wanted to,
I could be like, uh, you know, they have a
pair of linebackers who get a lot of the tackles
and okay, oh man, you should really look out for
Gilmer wide receiver. Maybe now, it's Nico.

Speaker 2 (23:07):
All right, key matchup. It's it's a hot State run
running scheme, the offensive lineman versus UCLA's defense. That's to me,
that's the key matchup. That's what that's what I'm going
to be focusing on.

Speaker 1 (23:25):
I agree, I don't think there's any other answer.

Speaker 2 (23:29):
All right, Moving through these quick This spread in this game,
Jared is thirty one and a half points. It's a
lot of points. It is a lot too many. As
a matter of fact, that is too many.

Speaker 1 (23:44):
Yes, yeah, yeah, I have Ohio State winning the game, obviously,
but I don't have them covering thirty one and a half.
So Ucla to win the spread, Ohio State to win
the game. I have the final score prediction of thirty
four seven.

Speaker 2 (24:03):
I have State winning thirty eight to seven.

Speaker 1 (24:12):
Literally Austin's pick down.

Speaker 2 (24:13):
In the chat. Literally I thought he said, oh I
saw earlier he said like thirty four to seven, and
I'm like, oh, that's close to what I had. And
then now I see he changed it to thirty eight
to seven.

Speaker 1 (24:28):
Okay, hold on, hold on, I'm scrolling up. I'm scrolling up.
I'm seeing what did he actually he said it in
the last episode I'm not gonna scroll all the way
back up. Oh he did say it, Okay, he says
he did say it, Okay, And I want to stay
for the record. That's seven points comes in the fourth junk.

Speaker 2 (24:48):
It's junk. Yeah, it's a junk time fourth quarter. All right,
we're gonna go ahead and get the second team touchdown.
All right, We're gonna go ahead and get into our
Austin over unders here.

Speaker 1 (24:59):
Okay.

Speaker 2 (25:01):
Uh r vel Reese impact plays, sack, tackle for loss, uh, fumbles, interceptions,
all of that one and a half. What say you, Jared,

(25:25):
We're including TFLs and sacks.

Speaker 1 (25:28):
Uh? Well, well not as I guess the TfL is
a sack.

Speaker 2 (25:34):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (25:34):
I think there's a decent chance of High State gets
like a bunch of sacks this game. And I think
you can give one of those to rvel rees and
then you add like in another TfL in there somewhere.
I think that's I think that's so totally plausible. Uh,
I'm gonna go over.

Speaker 2 (25:57):
Yeah, I'll go over as well.

Speaker 1 (25:58):
He's going to be in full spy mode, says Spikes.
Some of the time he will be. I mean, I
think both he and Sony will do it depending upon
the play.

Speaker 2 (26:09):
Let's not forget I I forget like like, forced fumble
is a thing too.

Speaker 1 (26:15):
Yeah, yeah, forced fumbles, fumble recoveries, interceptions, these things happen,
but you can't count on them.

Speaker 2 (26:23):
Yes, agreed. Uh Nico passing yards at one hundred and
thirty four and a half under that's really low. But
that's not low enough.

Speaker 1 (26:37):
It's under.

Speaker 2 (26:39):
I feel uh UL is averaging one hundred and thirty
five point eight per game, number two in the country. Yeah,
and UCLA is only averaging one point eighty four per game,
and that's against of course, much worse defenses, including like

(27:02):
UNLV All right, uh Ohio State tight end receptions at
five and a half, that's that's a good one. They
how many did they do these past couple of games.
I think it's been quite a bit.

Speaker 1 (27:22):
They were forcing, and I mean forcing.

Speaker 2 (27:26):
They were forcing to Max Claire last game, which he
did get five catches, He had five, Thurman had one,
Roberts had two. Uh eight catches by the tight ends
against Purdue.

Speaker 1 (27:41):
They were looking all into Claire last week though.

Speaker 2 (27:44):
Sure, and then the previous weekend four at four.

Speaker 1 (27:54):
I'm going under here. I just don't think Ohio State
throws all that much, especially in the latter half of
the game.

Speaker 2 (28:00):
Yeah, I'm I'm going I'm going under as well, as
much as I want to say over, I'm just going
to go with what I think of how Saint's going
to do, trying to try to establish your run, trying
to fix things that that need to be fixed here.
So I'll go under as well. Okay, Von's total tackles,

(28:22):
uh Vaughn is. I'm trying to find what he might
might take me a little bit to try to find
his actual number here though. Uh So Vaughn's total tackles
at seven and a half for for the game, and

(28:42):
he he is.

Speaker 1 (28:43):
He's their leading at eighty eight a game, me on
the eighty eight per year on the year.

Speaker 2 (28:51):
Yeah, so before you pick so he had nine against Nebraska,
thirteen again Indiana, he had seven against Penn State, four
against Parrety, eight against Maryland. For your last five games
that he's had there, I'll go over, especially especially with

(29:13):
Ifahao State does run the ball a lot more, Bond
will probably be there to try try to tackle. So yeah,
I'll go over.

Speaker 1 (29:22):
Yeah, look at this, I think this game will play
out a lot like the Purdue game played out last week,
or a lot like the Indiana game played out a
couple of weeks ago for UCLA. So you say he
had thirteen and a half. Excuse me, they are Ucla,
Ucla against Indiana. You said he had thirteen and a
half against Indiana.

Speaker 2 (29:43):
Yeah, thirteen tackles.

Speaker 1 (29:44):
Yeah, okay, thirteen tackles against Indiana. Look, look for this
game to be again for Ohio State a lot like
it was last week against Purdue. They're going to dominate
the time of possession. They're going to run the ball
a lot. That's going to lead to a lot of
tackle opportunities for their leading tackler. Give me the over.

Speaker 2 (30:03):
Boo Jackson rushing yards plus Jeremiah Smith receiving yards at
two o seven and a half, Give me the over.

Speaker 1 (30:15):
Yeah, yeah, I think so give me the over. Especially,
I mean I suppose Carnel Tate's gonna play. I mean,
it didn't even sound like he was all that injured
last week, So that could eat into Smith's receiving yards
this game. Because ideally you're thinking, like you know, to

(30:37):
get the two o seven roughly you get like one
o five and one oh five, and hey, there you
go two ten, right, So that's that's my thought process.
So yeah, I'll go over.

Speaker 2 (30:53):
U c l A point, So pats and field goal
attempts at one and a half attempts, I'm gonna go
over like that. That doesn't my father score, yeah, even

(31:18):
though my final scores is that it might because they
have seven points. But this is attempts he has here attempted.
So I'll go over.

Speaker 1 (31:30):
I'm gonna get under, all right, cool.

Speaker 2 (31:34):
I think that's our first difference.

Speaker 1 (31:36):
I think they score. I think is it? I think
it is?

Speaker 2 (31:40):
I hand up it is.

Speaker 1 (31:42):
Apparently it is, which is good for me. I think
I'm in the lead, aren't I? Or are we tired?

Speaker 2 (31:47):
We're tied?

Speaker 1 (31:48):
Okay, we are tied. Big big, big money rolling on
whether u c l A has more than one field
goal slash point after attempt this week.

Speaker 2 (32:00):
It comes down to the kicking game.

Speaker 1 (32:01):
I think UCLA scores once and they're only going to
be in position to score once.

Speaker 2 (32:08):
And Julian's saying passing yards three twenty three and a half.

Speaker 1 (32:16):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (32:16):
He is on a three game streak where he's passed
for more than three hundred yards and he's also done
over three hundred yards four.

Speaker 1 (32:27):
In the last five games. But did he go over
three twenty three four times in the last five games?

Speaker 2 (32:35):
Now he's only he's done that three times. He hasn't
done that since It'll be almost a month ago against Wisconsin.

Speaker 1 (32:44):
Okay, yeah, I just I see Ohio. Is it getting
up big early in this game? I don't see. I don't.
I don't see Julian saying throwing the ball a ton
in this game period. I think he's at or below

(33:04):
twenty attempts in this game. There'll be a couple really
and he'll even with only having They do want Julian
to win the Heisman, though I don't know how much
they do.

Speaker 2 (33:15):
To be honest, I say typically doesn't. So I'm going
to under I don't think.

Speaker 1 (33:20):
I don't think they're going to juice the numbers for it.
High State wants to win the national championship. You know,
you might see some big plays early which will lead
to an insane average. I think we'll have an insane
average this game. You know, he's not gonna throw that
ball that many times, and he's gonna get a ton
of yards out of the very few attempts he has. Sure,

(33:43):
but it's still not going to be that many attempts.
So the overall total I think comes in short of
three hundred.

Speaker 2 (33:50):
Yeah, all right, so we're both going under on that one.

Speaker 1 (33:53):
Yeah, all right, So it all comes out of the
kicking game, yep.

Speaker 2 (33:58):
So I'm going to add a off the record one, Jared, Okay,
off the record, this doesn't count. And this is for
all the slipcats down in the chat as well too,
and the YouTube comments and the YouTube comments. Zero point five,
zero point five okay, number of helmets lost or cracked.

(34:22):
We go.

Speaker 1 (34:23):
We already made this joke. We already made this joke,
and I already said it it one and a half.

Speaker 2 (34:28):
I'm doing at zero point five.

Speaker 1 (34:30):
Okay, I'm gonna go under. I know it was too
last time they played. I know it was too the
last time they played, But I'm gonna I'm gonna go under.

Speaker 2 (34:44):
All right, let us know what you think. Do you
think Nico's gonna lose. I'm even putting losing his homemade
like his helmet comes off, helmet, whoa.

Speaker 1 (34:56):
Whoa, that's a whole other thing.

Speaker 2 (34:58):
I said, lose. I go go back, go back to
the tape, I said, Okay, zero points helmet context matters.

Speaker 1 (35:08):
The last time he played Ohio State, he lost two helmets,
meaning the helmets were lost, not they didn't fall off,
they became unusable. They went to helmet Heaven. That is
a different thing. That's not that's not it's coming off,

(35:30):
is not losing it. They went to hell mitt God
due the joke was right there, helmet. They went to helmet, uh,
including falling off. I'll go over all right, if we're.

Speaker 2 (35:57):
That's that's all that we have for our picks. That
is our no your enemy, and that is our episode.

Speaker 1 (36:05):
All right, Kyle, do you have any think of Kyle's corner.

Speaker 2 (36:12):
Now mentioned about the big, big commit in our last
episode here, I I really really want to say something
about the whole thing going on up in East Lansing
right now.

Speaker 1 (36:30):
Oh, you mean the thing where Michigan State had to
forfeit three seasons worth of wins over incidences that were
significantly less severe than what Michigan did, but they vacated
zero losses. Is that what you're talking about?

Speaker 2 (36:51):
That one?

Speaker 1 (36:51):
Yes? Oh okay, that that thing, that thing that shows
that if you're going to cheat, win at all. Because
let's not forget Michigan and cheated their asses off, but
they won it all. They don't want to vacate a
national championship game. It is that simple. They did the
same thing for Jamis Winston. They did the same thing

(37:12):
for Cam Newton. If you win it all, they're not
gonna vacate you. They're gonna look the other way if
you win it all. If you don't win it all, Jared,
you're gonna get your hand slapped. But this is hurting
this This is hurting the current Michigan State players though,

(37:34):
this is hurting the current the current staff members who
had no.

Speaker 2 (37:39):
No part of this thing. If they didn't, why why
are you hurting the current the current team.

Speaker 1 (37:45):
If they didn't want to be hurt, they shouldn't have
committed to Michigan State. Sorry to victim blame, but you
committed to Michigan State. What the fuck did you expect
to happen? There wasn't going to be a happy ending
to that story.

Speaker 2 (38:05):
Or or maybe maybe in Michigan State needed to to
lie and continue to lie over and over, maybe they
would have gotten out of it.

Speaker 1 (38:16):
Yes, As as Esquire points out in the chat, if
you're going to cheat, tell the quote unquote police to
go fuck themselves seems to be the correct playbook. Yeah, extend,
extend the process out as long as possible, make the
NCAA spend as much time and money on it as possible.
Do not cooperate, do not handover emails, destroy evidence, do

(38:46):
not comply. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (38:49):
Okay, that's it. That's that's all I got.

Speaker 1 (38:52):
I'm not reading that one, Esquire. All right, that's the
end of today's show. Just like the last episodes, tonight's
ending music will be provided by the Raging Nathan's. There
a punk band out of Dayton. So with all that
being said, it was good. Though it was good, I'm
just not going to read it out loud. It's on
the screen. People can read it if they want to.
So I thought, that being said, I'd like to encourage

(39:13):
everyone to drink local beer, listen to local music, and
of course support your local podcasters. Once again, these are
the Raging Nathan's.

Speaker 2 (39:31):
I thought, you know how to see it. I'm like
sliding to t like it comes to the sad story
that you're calling out his song like you're saying the
song I see the end of the story, probably saying.

Speaker 1 (39:42):
Sam bah stuck, ren't mind yourself.

Speaker 2 (39:45):
You are.

Speaker 1 (39:47):
Inside of you. You don't be happy.

Speaker 2 (40:14):
If there's a hole mistaking on water.

Speaker 1 (40:16):
You want to yancard the drags and men in the bed.

Speaker 2 (40:18):
And I don't know how to say any suffer as
saying said common Start creating mind yourself, you wade still.

Speaker 1 (40:27):
Go for inside. Don't do because you don't get to
be happy.

Speaker 2 (40:31):
