Diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts have been a major concern for America’s colleges. Many of us want to do something about it, but aren’t sure how.
Dr. Stephen Porter, a Professor of Higher Education at North Carolina State University, has been on the frontlines of this DEI battle. After the university targeted him for referring to an academic conference on his blog as a “woke joke,” he filed a federal civil rights lawsuit against the university but ultimately lost the case on appeal to the Supreme Court.
However, that wasn’t the end of the battle. Porter recently had the opportunity to celebrate the school’s decision to ditch its DEI efforts. Dr. Porter recently addressed the change during a Fox News interview and joins us today to share more about the latest in this ongoing effort. Join us for this special podcast.
