The Sonography Lounge sits down with The American Institute of Ultrasound In Medicine (AIUM) and Peter Magnuson, CAE, who currently serves as the Director of Communications and Member Services. In this role, he oversees membership, marketing, social media and the Journal of Ultrasound in Medicine. Peter has been at the AIUM for 8 years and enjoys developing new programs and opportunities for the AIUM’s diverse membership.
Peter goes over some exciting grant opportunities available to healthcare providers interested in furthering their ultrasound education. Multiple $500 grants will be awarded this round (submissions are due December 16, 2022). The American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine is a multidisciplinary medical association of more than 10,000 physicians, sonographers, scientists, students, and other health care providers.
