and personal growth. This is episode 27, I'm your
host, Sherry Lynn. Now, before we get into the
episode, let us Begin by centering ourselves.
(01:10):
Go ahead and Getting a comfortable place.
Let your shoulders drop. Unclench your jaw.
Release the tension between youreyebrows, relax, your fist.
Take a deep breath into your belly.
(01:30):
And exhale. Go ahead and turn up the corners
of your mouth. It feels so good to smile.
You have any essential oils? This would be a great time to
rub them on your palms, come together and inhale, mmm,
(01:51):
essential oils are a great way to enhance our prayer time.
Today, I'm using a Young Living oil, called Valor Okay.
Now that we have centered ourselves, we are going to do
two things. I'm going to say a quick
centering prayer that my pastor Susan wrote, then we will
(02:13):
continue with our breath as prayer.
Only one we enter into worship today.
In all of you, you transform this space into your very
dwelling place as we call upon you transform us.
We pray into more than we think we can be so we can do more than
(02:37):
we could ever do a loan for yourkingdom and Jesus name.
Amen. Now, let's do a prayer from the
beautiful book. Breath is prayer.
Are you can find the link to this book in the show notes on
our inhale, you're going to say,you know what, I long for on
(02:57):
your exhale, you hear my every sigh, as suggested, let's do
that four times. Inhale, you know what?
I long for exhale, you hear my every sigh Inhale, you know
what, I long for exhale? You hear my every sigh inhale.
(03:25):
You know what? I long for exhale, you hear my
every sigh last one. Inhale, you know what?
I long for exhale, you hear my every sigh He's deep in now God
(03:45):
knows your heart and he knows your deepest longings so that
great friends. He knows he knows what we long
for. That's so good to know.
The episode passage that I choseis from Hebrews 10 23 through
25, let us hold tightly, withoutwavering to the hope we affirm
(04:10):
for God can be trusted to keep his promise.
Let us think of ways to motivateone another to acts of love and
good works. And let us not neglect our
meeting together as some people do.
But encourage one another especially now that the day of
his return, Turn is trying near. All right.
(04:33):
I think we can begin episode 27.So I am thrilled that you're
joining me today as we delve into the topic of growing, our
faith with like-minded women andthe power of friendship in a
world where connections are often superficial, it's vital
for us to find genuine companions on our spiritual
(04:55):
journey. Now, I did an episode on
friendship earlier and you Welcome to go back.
I would love for you to go back and listen to it.
But for right now I would like to share about my incredible
experience that I just had at Love Is Magic event in Knoxville
Tennessee. It was a gathering of
(05:17):
like-minded. Women learning how to lead a
Godly life with intention and purpose today.
I want to explore the power of growing.
Our faith alongside others and how we can build each other.
Hurry up on this journey will also delve into the passages of
faith and friendship that resonated deeply with this
(05:39):
theme. But first, let me tell you about
love is Magic. This event was organized by the
one and only my life coach and many others life coach dr.
Ed wodsworth. She's the founder and the
creator of Life mentoring School.
(05:59):
I don't think I can say enough good things about dr.
Edie, she is a Godly woman who followed her nudges and we did
talk about that before. But following those nudges that
have made the difference for so many people from the moment I
walked into this event. I was captivated by the sheer
(06:21):
magic that enveloped the space. Every detail had been
thoughtfully curated and the atmosphere was filled with love.
And Warmth, the women who gathered at this event were far
from perfect. But they were perfectly
imperfect, they came with their flaws, their problems and scars,
embracing their true selves and showing up, not only for
(06:44):
themselves, but for each other, the roomed buzzed with smiles,
tears, and most importantly, heartfelt, hugs, It was a
beautiful reminder of the power of genuine connection at Love Is
Magic. The presence of the Holy Spirit
was palpable the Christian life coaching program led by dr.
(07:06):
Ed encourages us to renew our minds to embrace our true selves
and to let go of false self. It's a transformative teaching
that has touched my life in profound ways.
If you're interested in learningmore, I highly recommend
checking out doctor, Edie's podcast, and YouTube channel
(07:28):
channel. Also feel free to message me and
I'll be happy to guide you in the right direction.
Friend, this is your invitation to join our LMS Community.
Now, let's dive into some of thepassages that highlight the
importance of growing, our faithwith like-minded people and
their significance of building each other up friends.
(07:51):
This is not just dr. Edie's, This is God's word so
it's just amazing that we have it written there for us to
follow along and to do the things that He suggests.
And Proverbs 27:17, it reminds us as iron sharpens iron.
(08:11):
So, one person sharpens another, when we surround ourselves with
the like-minded individuals, whoshare our faith and values, we
have the opportunity to grow andstrengthen Nathan our own
spiritual journey. We can learn from one another
support each other through, trials.
And celebrate our victories together in ecclesiastics 49
(08:36):
through 10. It says, two are better than one
because they have a good return for their labor.
If either of them falls down, one can help the other up, but
pity anyone, who falls and has no one to help them up.
We were not meant to walk this path alone.
True friendships built on a foundation of Faith, provide a
(08:57):
source of strength and encouragement.
They remind us that we are neveralone in our struggles and that
we can lean on one another for support.
Romans 12:10 teaches us be devoted to one another in love
honor. One another above yourselves.
When we choose to love and honorour friends, we create an
(09:20):
environment where everyone feelsvalued and cherished It just I
get choked up thinking and just saying those words because that
was the environment this past week, everyone felt valued and
cherished. Every single woman, there it is
through these acts of devotion that we can truly build each
(09:43):
other up and Inspire one anotherto live lives of purpose and
intention. As we reflect on those passages,
let's remember the beautiful Community, we experience that
love is Magic and the profound impact it had on all of our
Lives. I would like it take, I would
like to take a moment to give a heartfelt.
(10:06):
Shout out to the amazing individuals who have made a
significant impact on my journey, of course it's my
Saturday encounter group, led bySusan, hashtag team Saturday, I

world to me, it was such a joy to see and hug.

(11:54):
My life in profound ways until we meet again, May each of you
continue to shine brightly and touch the lives of others with
your kindness and authenticity. Now, as with every episode of
the Soul, Journey podcast, I'd like to carefully choose a song
that resonates with the topic, so the song that I chose for
(12:17):
this episode is called first things first by the band
consumed by fire. And after reading the lyrics, I
felt it was perfectly capturing the essence of our discussion
today. So let's take a closer look at
the lyrics and explore, how theyalign with the experiences.
And Lessons From Love Is Magic and our journey of growing in
(12:39):
faith together. So here are some of the lyrics,
all the things that I have held dear, the vanities that
whispered in my ear, what could I do if they all disappeared
riches and fame and all that they could buy, I've come to
find, they never satisfy. What would I gain if my soul's
(13:02):
the price. These lines remind us of the
temporary nature of worldly, Pursuits and The Emptiness.
They often lead behind Frame. That's the word that just came
to mind at love. And magic at Love Is Magic.
We witness women letting go of the pursuit of worldly success
and finding fulfillment and seeking God's will.
(13:24):
Instead the event reminded us that true satisfaction comes
from aligning our hearts, with the Eternal values of Faith love
and purpose lyrics. Continue to say, I don't want to
love what the world loves. I don't want to chase what the
world. Does I only want you these lines
(13:46):
beautifully, expressed the desires to prioritize?
God above all else, The Love Is Magic, event reinforce the
importance of keeping our focus on him, seeking his will and
placing him above the fleeting desires and trends of the world.
It is a reminder to stay grounded in our faith and not
(14:06):
get Swept Away by worldly distractions.
Many of the women there are starting their coaching
business, which is something I hope to do one day as well.
But it's just another way to reach out, and, and shed our
(14:26):
fears and share our faith with God or of God.
And it's just such an important job.
Such an important way that we can move forward.
Mark in our faith to continue with the words.
First things first. I seek your will not my own
(14:49):
surrender. All my wants to you keep the
first thing first to live your truth, walk your ways.
Set my eyes. Lord, I fix my face on you all
my desires reversed to keep the first thing first.
Well, these are powerful words that Reflect the heart of Our
(15:11):
Journey of Faith. Love Is Magic.
Encourage us to surrender our desires to God and seek his will
above our own, by particularity sizing his truth.
Walking in his ways and fixing our gaze upon him, we can
reverse the priorities of our heart and keep him as the first
and foremost in our lives. Hmm.
(15:36):
Finally, the song says to keep the first things first, all my
desires reversed reiterating this message, these lines,
emphasize the ongoing commitmentto keep God as the priority
continually realigning. Our desires and actions with his
will. It's a reminder that our faith
(15:57):
journey is not a one-time event, but a daily intentional choice
to put him first in all, our lives living from our True
selves, taking our thoughts captive and making each day
count our essential teachings inlife.

(24:52):
Friends, not just put this on myheart.
If you're listening today to this episode and you have not
received Jesus into your heart, then let me help you and guide
you to welcome him into your life.
You just need to say these wordsout loud and believe them with
all your heart and and it's justbetween you and our Lord.
(25:17):
Say these words. Dear heavenly father.
I come before you and you. Millet e, recognizing my need
for a savior. Your word says in Romans 3:23
for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.
I acknowledge that I am a sinnerand that I need your
(25:39):
forgiveness. I believe that Jesus Christ your
son died on the cross for my sins as stated in Romans.
I be a god demonstrates. His own love for us in this
while we were still sinners Christ died for us, I believe
that Jesus is sacrifice was enough to pay the penalty for my
(26:02):
sins. I pray and ask Jesus to come
into my heart and be Lord over my life.
According to Romans, 10:9-10. If Thou shalt confess with thy
mouth, the Lord Jesus. And shalt believe in thine heart
(26:22):
that God hath raised him from the dead, Thou shalt be saved.
I confess this with my mouth, that Jesus is Lord.
And I believe in my heart that you raised him from the dead.
I acknowledge Jesus as my Lord and Savior and I Surrender my
life to him in Ephesians 2, 8, 9, it is written, or it is by
(26:49):
Grace, you have been saved through faith and this is not
from yourselves. It is the gift of God, not by
works. So that no one can boast.
I understand that my salvation is a gift from you.
Not something I can learn or achieve on my own.
(27:09):
I ask for your forgiveness, Lord, and I invite Jesus to come
into my life and be the center of my being.
I want to follow him and live according to his will.
Please fill me with your Holy Spirit as promised in Acts 2:38
repent. Be baptized every one of you and
(27:31):
the name of Jesus Christ for theForgiveness of your sins and you
will receive the gift of the holy spirit.
Thank you, Heavenly Father for the gift of Salvation through
Jesus Christ. I commit my life to you and
trust, you will guide me and transformed Me From the Inside
Out. In Jesus name, I pray.
(27:51):
Amen. Thank you, friends.
Remember the prayer itself is not what saves a person but
rather the faith in Jesus Christand the work he accomplished on
the cross. It is the beginning of a
personal relationship with God and it is important to continue
seeking him studying his word and growing in faith.
(28:15):
If you sent this prayer for the first time I would love for you
to reach out so I can guide you with some resources, be blessed
my
