The Sound of Skateboarding, is an immersive podcast that showcases the rhythmic sound of skateboard wheels on concrete. Join us as we explore the sidewalks, paths, and streets of our neighborhood.
There's nothing quite like a ride through the city at night. You enter a dream state with streetlights passing overhead as you hypnotically kick and push the skateboard, cruising down the roads and sidewalks. Occasionally, the calm atmosphere is interrupted by cars passing by and people having a good time as we pass the bars and clubs just getting started for the evening.
The enjoyable aspect of skating down a parking garage is that you push off a few times and then simply cruise the entire way down. I appreciate how the sounds transform from the top of the garage, where you can hear the distant rumble of traffic, gradually transitioning as we descend until all that resonates is the echo of the wheels against the concrete walls. This is a shorter episode, but I hope you enjoy the vibe.
Join us as we take the scenic route to our favorite coffee shop. We skate along the city's streets, sidewalks, and a bike path that runs alongside train tracks and crosses a river. It's a beautiful evening filled with birds chirping and people enjoying themselves. By the time we arrived, the coffee shop was closed, but it didn't bother us because it was such a nice ride.

Join us as we skate along a shared-use bike path that offers a smooth and flat surface. Experience the scenic route, perfect for a laid-back and enjoyable ride.
This week, I had to pick up my car from the mechanic and I thought, "Why take an Uber when I can skate?" So, I grabbed my board and started skating. On my way there, I bumped into my son and he joined me for the rest of the ride. The sound of the roads and sidewalks get gravelly at times, but it was a beautiful day and it's always fun riding with my buddy.
Experience a relaxing cruise through a fantastic park not far from where we live as we glide along a smooth path and descend down a few mellow hills.
On a warm and breezy day, we cruise along a relatively smooth path near the lake's shoreline. A few twigs occasionally get in the way, but overall, it is a great ride.
On our podcast's maiden voyage, we skateboard through the neighborhood, gliding over sidewalks, down roads, and navigating both smooth pathways and those that are less smooth.

For more than 30 years The River Cafe in London, has been the home-from-home of artists, architects, designers, actors, collectors, writers, activists, and politicians. Michael Caine, Glenn Close, JJ Abrams, Steve McQueen, Victoria and David Beckham, and Lily Allen, are just some of the people who love to call The River Cafe home. On River Cafe Table 4, Rogers sits down with her customers—who have become friends—to talk about food memories. Table 4 explores how food impacts every aspect of our lives. “Foods is politics, food is cultural, food is how you express love, food is about your heritage, it defines who you and who you want to be,” says Rogers. Each week, Rogers invites her guest to reminisce about family suppers and first dates, what they cook, how they eat when performing, the restaurants they choose, and what food they seek when they need comfort. And to punctuate each episode of Table 4, guests such as Ralph Fiennes, Emily Blunt, and Alfonso Cuarón, read their favourite recipe from one of the best-selling River Cafe cookbooks. Table 4 itself, is situated near The River Cafe’s open kitchen, close to the bright pink wood-fired oven and next to the glossy yellow pass, where Ruthie oversees the restaurant. You are invited to take a seat at this intimate table and join the conversation.
