To culminate our 4th anniversary, we close out the month of March with the Captain America: Brave New World movie review. In true Danana fashion, we start off this week’s episode (2:53) jamming to Burna Boy’s new collab record with Haitian superstar Joé Dwèt Filé titled 4 Kampé II. Then we quickly catch up (9:08) on our week. Danny reveals that he had an interesting conversation with his dad, and unconventionally admits that Naomie was right about his obsession with work. Then Naomie posed the question of the week (27:11), which spoke to men getting a vasectomy in marriage, and when is the right time to do it.
Then, on the main portion of the show (39:51), we come in with the movie soundtrack “I” by Kendrick Lamar, leading us into the switch from Chris Evans (Steve Rogers) as the original Captain America to Anthony Mackie, A.K.A. Clarence (Sam Wilson). We discuss the reception of Anthony Mackie being accepted by the Marvel audience, his black representation, his amazing performance, and how he stepped into the role effortlessly while maintaining his authenticity. Then we give our honest review of the movie (1:50:11) using our SPP metric, mess around of course, and close out with new music and movies this week. Enjoy this one!
