In this week’s episode, your favorite duo returns to poke at the age-old statement, “But the past is the past” but is it really? But first, we start off the show (2:57) with Chris Brown’s “Transform” and rave a bit about his 08 run with Lil Wayne. Then we quickly catch up on our weeks (16:36) which forced us to reflect on the recent depressing political events that have taken place in the last few weeks in Nigeria. Naomie poses the question of the week (30:11) stemming from footballer Cristiano Ronaldo and his nine-year girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez and why he hasn’t proposed yet. Of course, we had some controversial takes on this one.
On Nana’s Corner (51:34), we discuss Jonathan Majors and Meagan Good getting married and his recent interview on The Breakfast Club, then we dissect the heated debacle on The Breakfast Club this week between co-hosts Jess Hilarious and Loren Larossa, Teyana Taylor’s recent IG Live crash out over the recent uproar around her divorce, Quinta Brunson divorce + MORE. In the main portion of the show (1:39:08), we extensively discuss the concept of leaving the past in the past, what constitutes someone’s past that you could never ignore or move past, and we air out our checkered pasts posing the question, do we all judge people’s pasts in relationships and friendships? We close out with new music and movies (3:13:02) to look out for this week. Enjoy this amazing episode!
