Speaker 1 (00:28):
Good morning
everybody.
Good morning, Welcome back tothe Spiritual Grind video
edition.
Yeah, we've been doing this fora year and we're just not doing
video.
That's kind of crazy.
Speaker 2 (00:42):
Yeah, I think just
one baby step at a time until
you get there.
Yeah, that's okay of crazy.
Yeah, I think just one babystep at a time until you get
there.
Speaker 1 (00:48):
Yeah, that's okay,
though.
It's all good we're juststarting the attraction and
that's good.
Speaker 2 (00:52):
Well, I mean, and
that's what we teach.
Yep Is one foot in front of theother.
Speaker 1 (00:59):
Just keep on plugging
.
And if it's not time, then andyou know, we've always said if
one person gets something out ofthis, then it makes us happy
right but we want a millionpeople to do it now well, I mean
, yeah, it's just a, it's.
Speaker 2 (01:15):
It's such a much more
pleasant lifestyle.
Speaker 1 (01:18):
I would love for more
than a million to do it oh yeah
, totally no, I mean, don't getme wrong, it was just plugging
out there, you know, putting anumber out there, tangible.
Speaker 2 (01:30):
Well, yeah, because
it's not hard to become a
million and I tend to be a veryliteral type person.
Speaker 1 (01:35):
Yeah, I mean our
podcast has been listened to in
54 countries.
Speaker 2 (01:40):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:41):
We have hit all of
the thresholds that Buzzsprout
says we should, Right, and we'vehad downloads and now we're
really starting to get tractionbecause Buzzsprout said they're
going to start.
You know, they start promotingyour podcast after so long.
Speaker 2 (01:57):
Right Once you get to
certain milestones.
Speaker 1 (02:00):
Yeah, right.
Speaker 2 (02:01):
They start
incorporating more of their
program.
Speaker 1 (02:05):
Yes, how do you all
like the studio?
You like the studio.
It's a mobile studio.
We really like it.
Speaker 2 (02:13):
We do.
We're having such great fun.
Speaker 1 (02:16):
We are, it is, but
anyway.
So the topic for the day.
Are you ready for the topic?
Speaker 2 (02:23):
Yeah, I'm curious to
see if you're going to change it
up.
Speaker 1 (02:26):
I am changing it up
today.
Speaker 2 (02:28):
If we're sticking
with the previous topic or what
we're doing.
Speaker 1 (02:33):
Well, you know, I
woke up this morning with the
thought of and I didn't bring itup at our coffee talk because I
wanted to save it for thepodcast- Okay.
With a very appreciative,appreciative heart.
Speaker 2 (02:45):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (02:46):
Of where we are, what
we're doing, how we're doing it
.
You know we're doing what mostpeople won't do because their
fear yeah, they have, and I wasone of those people for many
years.
I was fearful of a lot ofthings when it come to jumping
out on a limb, and why I wasthere, I don't know, because
(03:08):
when I was younger man, I didn'twasn't scared of nothing.
You know, I was ready just totake on the world.
And then I think over the yearswe get taught that you know
you're supposed to calm down, you're supposed to be this
person that conforms to workingfive days a week, a nine to five
(03:29):
job.
You're supposed to do this andthat you know?
You have all these societal topbeliefs and I don't care to
think that way.
I'm very appreciative where weare in life and I think today's
podcast is about appreciation, and appreciation for everything
and recognizing everything andreally appreciate it.
Recognize the stuff that youhave done and what you will do.
(03:51):
You know, because you know ourdimensions are already lined up.
All we have to do is jump intoit.
Speaker 2 (03:58):
They are.
They're somewhat lined up.
There's that free will aspectthat lets you go in some
different directions.
But yeah there's somecontractual things.
Speaker 1 (04:09):
And don't worry, guys
, For all of you out there, we
will continue the spiritual sexcomment or the podcast.
We've had comments on it abouthow they're intrigued.
Speaker 2 (04:19):
Yeah Well you know
it's a big question out there
and not a lot of people arecomfortable conversating about
it.
It's still a very taboo topic.
Speaker 1 (04:31):
It is.
Speaker 2 (04:32):
And act.
It still is a very taboo topicand act and not easy for people
to communicate about honestly.
Speaker 1 (04:44):
And you know what I'm
appreciative of.
Speaker 2 (04:45):
What.
Speaker 1 (04:46):
Them, those that have
listened to us.
Speaker 2 (04:49):
I agree 100%.
Speaker 1 (04:51):
I very appreciate
that.
Very much appreciate it andjust for that, by the way, the
Salty Tarot store will be opentoday.
It will.
I have like 15 minutes left toset up on it and that's it.
But for those listeners Icreated a discount on the store.
You can get five dollars offyour first 40 purchase.
(05:12):
Just use the checkout discountcode podcast oh, yeah, very good
and, uh, you, you can go to thestore and order their spiritual
grind stuff.
There is the Merc Center stuff, there is the Salty Tarot stuff.
It's all branded products fromall of our different aspects of
(05:34):
things that we do, and what'sreally cool is some of the Salty
Tarot shirts are pretty cool.
Speaker 2 (05:39):
What about the?
Did you put the one on for thepodcast?
Yeah, with the carrot sandwichand stuff.
Speaker 1 (05:45):
No, I haven't got
there yet.
No, I just had to get.
I got everything.
Now I have everything set up.
All I have to do is confirm thetax rates.
Speaker 2 (05:54):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (05:55):
And which is already
all done.
I just have to go back throughthem one more time and bam,
publish that baby.
Speaker 2 (06:01):
Right on.
Speaker 1 (06:02):
But anyway, remember
checkout code when you check out
.
Use discount code podcast andit's all lowercase and you'll
get $5 off your first $40 or $10off your first $60.
Very nice, and so there ispodcast and I'm appreciative of
that, I'm appreciative of thestore, I'm appreciative of all
(06:24):
that.
Speaker 2 (06:25):
You worked very, very
hard on that.
I am appreciative that you didthe hard grind, because that is
not my area of interest orspecialty at all.
Speaker 1 (06:37):
Definitely a big
learning curve, man.
Definitely a big learning curve.
But you know, the thing is, youjumped out there and tie
yourself how to do it.
I did, I went through it.
Speaker 2 (06:48):
You know, there's
embrace the learning curve of it
.
Speaker 1 (06:50):
I fell into that trap
of following some of the
commercials on Instagram andFacebook.
You know I'll set your store upfor $20.
And so I'd go through the videoand they're like yeah, it's $20
for us to set it up for you.
If you like it, you have to pay$2,000 to publish it.
Speaker 2 (07:08):
To actually get it to
function.
Speaker 1 (07:10):
You all bait and
switch people.
Speaker 2 (07:12):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (07:12):
I thought there was
laws against that, but I guess
there's not.
Online.
That's all taken away, butanyway.
So I went through.
I watched so many videos whichthe store is kind of a basic
store, it's quick and to thepoint.
Which the store is kind of abasic store.
It's quick and to the point, and maybe down the road I will
change that.
I don't know, we'll see, butright now I just want to let
people get on there Because theSalty Tarot cards are available
(07:34):
on there to order.
You'll be able to order theactual Oracle cards.
Speaker 2 (07:38):
They're actual Oracle
cards.
Yeah, they're Oracle, not Tarot.
Yeah, they're not Tarot cards.
There's a.
Yeah, they're not tarot cards.
Speaker 1 (07:42):
They're oracle cards.
It is a 40 card deck that Jennyherself designed.
Yay, it's the first edition.
Speaker 2 (07:49):
It was lots of fun
and she's already working on the
second edition and the tarotdeck.
Yeah, I am in the process ofdoing the tarot deck.
Speaker 1 (08:01):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (08:02):
Tarot versus oracle,
so oracle is a much looser term
deck yeah um not so stringentlystrict you have to write like
the cups and the towers rightyeah, the tarot cards are more
of a structured platform.
Yeah, oracle cards are morefree and you know you could do
(08:26):
three cards or just one, or likethere's no rule hard and fast.
Speaker 1 (08:33):
Yes, I get it.
Speaker 2 (08:33):
With tarot,
Traditionally there's like a
five and a seven and it likewe're traditional.
Speaker 1 (08:43):
Like we're
traditional.
Speaker 2 (08:47):
We do nothing.
Basic and more structure, actually how you pull the cards
and stuff like that.
But it is coming, I'm workingon those.
Speaker 1 (08:59):
Yep.
So they'll be ready to go inthe coming weeks and the links
will be on there for our books.
Yeah, there as well.
Yep, um, I have.
I have sent the link request inand for approval, and so cause
you have to get it approved tobe able to link Amazon links
into your own store.
Speaker 2 (09:17):
I see.
Speaker 1 (09:17):
Um, because we we did
publish our books through KDP.
I have another book that I'mreally close to finishing.
Jenny finished her second bookyesterday.
Speaker 2 (09:25):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (09:26):
And then we're also
going to have the Granny
Grimoires come out.
Speaker 2 (09:29):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (09:29):
I'm appreciative of
all this.
This is all fun to do.
This is all.
We're just having a blast and Ihope you guys will take
advantage of it, because theGranny Grimoire book is going to
be awesome.
It's a it's kind of a dailyspell book, I guess, kind of
like yeah, you know, I just wantto create content and many
different modalities.
Speaker 2 (09:49):
Yeah, because it
honors each individual person's
journey you know some resonatewith the oracle cards, some
resonate with spells and rituals, some resonate with just
reading content in a book.
So my agenda or intention wasto just put the information out
(10:16):
there in as many ways aspossible, yep, and as many
different forms.
Speaker 1 (10:23):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (10:24):
And tonalities and
personalities as I could.
Speaker 1 (10:31):
Because she has a
couple of them, personalities.
That is Right and just so.
You all know she's always cold,so this is not, she's always
cold, she's always wrapped uplike this I am.
Speaker 2 (10:45):
It's a little rainy
here today, and that to me
chills the weather just a bit,so I've got my little granny lab
coat.
Speaker 1 (10:52):
It's still 91 degrees
outside.
Speaker 2 (10:54):
I've got my
sweatshirt on.
Speaker 1 (10:58):
But anyway, so what
I'm really appreciative to it
for, I've got my beautiful.
Speaker 2 (11:00):
I'm appreciative of
this guy.
Yeah, your selenite ball, that's selenite, it is good to
cleanse and open up channels andit just really feels good.
Speaker 1 (11:14):
So the granny
grimoires.
Let's finish it up real quick.
The granny grimoires is a gonnawell if we get it worked out
and we're working on getting itleather bound.
Speaker 2 (11:23):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (11:23):
And it's got like a
spell for every occasion and
it's also going to have somerituals and some what do you
call them sigils in it Sigilenergy.
Speaker 2 (11:31):
Yep, that's where you
take the symbol and either draw
it out or just visually carryit with you and it holds a
certain kind of energy.
And it holds a certain kind ofenergy, like, if you're going to
go into a meeting that you feellike is a little heavy, you can
take the confidence sigil, forexample, and draw it out and put
(11:54):
it in your pocket.
Yeah, eventually I'm trying tocreate some links where you can
print it off, if you want.
Okay, some links where you canprint it off if you want and I
might convert them over intolittle sigil packs where you can
buy them in like little pocketcarry cards.
Right, and I'll be adding tothem.
(12:17):
Yes, it also has, like grannytalks to nature.
Yeah, like granny talks tonature, and so she talks to the
flies and the dragonflies andbutterflies and the bees that
attack me and the bumblebees, and so it has little folklores
(12:39):
in it think of it as a witchypoem book.
Yeah kind of it's got herbs init that are the traditional it
has.
Think of it as a witchy poembook.
Yeah, kind of.
Yeah, it's got herbs in it thatare the traditional herbs.
Speaker 1 (12:50):
Excuse me, ma'am,
we're trying to do a podcast on
here.
Speaker 2 (12:53):
What they are and
kind of how to use them.
And you know, it's just acompilation of a little bit of
everything.
A true grimoire is a familyheritage that's handed down and
that's where granny kind ofsticks all of her stuff.
You know, like if she uses acertain herb she'll slide it
(13:14):
into the book and it may getdried out and be in the book,
and then all grannies have somekind of a ritual that they do
like my granny used to.
Speaker 1 (13:23):
She was a big canner
and she had a cellar.
Speaker 2 (13:25):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (13:27):
And she would like if
you went into the cellar during
certain times of the year.
She was sticking her foot inyour butt Because it was a no-no
.
It was a no-no, yeah, becauseshe was down there working.
Speaker 2 (13:37):
Oh, yeah, yeah.
Speaker 1 (13:38):
And who knows what
all she made, but I just know
that who knows what all she madewho knows.
I know at one time she had asteel down there, but that was
many years ago.
She was making I coulddefinitely.
Speaker 2 (13:48):
Are you talking about
your grandma or your
great-grandma?
Speaker 1 (13:50):
My grandma.
Speaker 2 (13:51):
I could definitely
feel the vibe of that.
Speaker 1 (13:54):
Yeah, that was pretty
crazy stuff because she had run
her exhaust out the top of theground, and so she moved it up
to the air vent, and so therewas no fresh air coming in,
because she was blowing hersmoke out the top of it.
Speaker 2 (14:09):
Right.
Speaker 1 (14:10):
Anyway.
Speaker 2 (14:12):
I appreciate a good
ritual as a mode of, you know,
detachment, release, energybringing.
And what I mean by ritual is,you know you may take a couple
of candles they represent someaspect of it String, et cetera,
Herbs, and I know when the kidswere growing up I had this whole
(14:34):
little very cool wooden cabinetthat was hand built.
I found it in like a garagesale and that's where I stored
different ingredients.
Speaker 1 (14:44):
You just recently got
rid of that.
Speaker 2 (14:45):
I did yeah, and
that's where I stored different
ingredients and stuff.
Yeah, you just recently got ridof that, I did.
And Surprisingly, the kidsalways referred to it as my
little.
Speaker 1 (14:52):
Witchy cabinet.
Speaker 2 (14:53):
My witchy cabinet.
Speaker 1 (14:55):
Oh my.
Speaker 2 (14:56):
Are you in your
witchy cabinet?
Speaker 1 (14:58):
doing witchy stuff
again, yeah, so yeah, that's
kind of how the grimoires cameto be but anyway, so that should
be coming out pretty soon.
Um as soon as we find a leatherbound, because a good
comparison for that book wouldbe like if anybody ever watched
the show charmed, you know theyhad a spell book up in the attic
and it's kind of it's a goodcomparison to that.
Speaker 2 (15:23):
Yeah, exactly, Except
we don't like to demon work.
Speaker 1 (15:28):
Yeah, no, no no, I
like that.
But the other thing that I'mgoing to put in the store to
show you know, is products thatwe actually use and I'm going to
link them into the store andI'm working on that collection
now that we put up, you know, like you have used a product for
(15:49):
your skin cancer.
Speaker 2 (15:50):
Yeah, for sure.
Speaker 1 (15:52):
And I have you know.
If we can, I'm going to try towork that out to where we can
load it in, because it works andit's non-invasive, no side
effects.
Speaker 2 (15:59):
Right, it is all.
It's herbal.
Speaker 1 (16:02):
It's definitely
over-the still comes with pain.
Speaker 2 (16:06):
Yeah yeah, no it.
You know skin cancer is no joke.
Yeah, and it, it, uh, it's.
It's painful at times.
It's a journey like, I use asupplement that you know product
itself I I have used, and amcurrently still using, on one
small little spot left Right, but I vouch for it all day,
(16:30):
every day.
I had literally no side effectsfrom the product, and that's
such a big key for me.
My body is already under stressdealing with the thing itself.
The last thing I want to do isput a product in my body or on
my body.
Speaker 1 (16:48):
That causes more side
effects.
Speaker 2 (16:49):
That's going to
create additional things I have
to deal with Correct Called sideeffects.
Yeah, and I definitely leanmore towards the herbal side of
life.
Speaker 1 (17:00):
Oh, and holistic Most
definitely.
I do most everything side oflife anyway, oh, and holistic,
most definitely.
I do most everything I neverreally believed in it much until
my teenage years, yeah, andwhen I started hanging out in
the native world and they wouldflat out teach you you know, go
dig this root, go boil it inwater, you know, or eat this
(17:22):
fruit, and it was.
It's crazy because most of thetime, from what I understand now
don't quote me on this but fromwhat I understand in the
medical world, medicines theside effects actually come from
the additives and stuff they putin them yeah, that's um for
sure yeah you know well, firstof all, modern medicine derived
(17:46):
from the plants of the earth.
Yeah, totally.
Speaker 2 (17:51):
But in wanting to
advance or speed up the process
of getting from it what you want, sometimes you have to add
fillers.
You've got to figure out howyou're going to get it in the
body.
Speaker 1 (18:07):
Make it digestible.
Speaker 2 (18:08):
Right.
So that brings about capsules, and what are the capsules made
of?
Speaker 1 (18:13):
You know.
Speaker 2 (18:14):
A good example that
comes to mind is if you have a
gluten sensitivity and you'retaking a supplement or a modern
medicine, medication that is putinto a capsule, or coating that
uses gluten because it's abinder.
(18:34):
It's a very good binder and youdon't know that One of your
side effects could beinflammation or something,
simply because it has justenough of the gluten in it that
aggravates your system.
Speaker 1 (18:53):
I'm going to
challenge the modern medicine
world in this podcast to quitproducing things and putting
them out in the world when theyhave more side effects than they
have benefits.
Speaker 2 (19:03):
Yeah, that's a whole
other podcast, that's a whole
nother podcast, but I'mappreciative, I'm appreciative
of them.
Speaker 1 (19:09):
That's the topic of
the.
Speaker 2 (19:10):
I'm appreciative of
what they do.
You know what you know they.
They do have their positives.
Speaker 1 (19:15):
They do there's,
there's, time and place for it.
Speaker 2 (19:17):
My goal is to marry
him.
I spent many years in themodern medicine world as an RN.
Speaker 1 (19:24):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (19:25):
And they do have
their place.
Yeah, and I think that it'stime for society to start
looking at holistic and modernmedicine as alliances and meld
together.
Speaker 1 (19:39):
Well, they really
technically have.
For years Metaphysicians for along time have really pushed
things and for a very long time.
Speaker 2 (19:48):
They're still.
Speaker 1 (19:48):
you know, when you're
running around in the circle,
there still is this segregatedenergy Does anybody find it
weird that metafields are onlineand they're like supposed to be
the number one thing to searchwhat Metafields.
Metafields are online andthey're like supposed to be the
number one thing to search whatMetaFields, metafields.
(20:08):
MetaFields.
It's like a SEO search foronline stuff.
Oh, metafields they call themMetaFields because they're kind
of like the granddaddy, and thenthe SEO goes to that, and so
it's kind of like a subject, andthen the SEO is the topics
below it and does anybody findit?
You're called a metaphysician, and meta kind of like the first
(20:31):
thing, and metaphysicians havekind of pushed the regular
physicians for years.
Speaker 2 (20:34):
Oh, I've always said
that the metaphysicians of the
world give the scientistssomething to explore and
research.
You know, we're the ones thatcome up with those woohoo ideas
of WTF yeah.
Who ideas of WTF, yeah?
And because we're comfortableand okay getting that funny look
(20:57):
from people when we come upwith a concept that is
completely off the wall yeah.
And then when the scientists ofthe world get to a place where
they've had a minute to let itmarinate, then they start
thinking hmm, I'm curious aboutthis.
Speaker 1 (21:13):
Well, that was really
cool.
Speaker 2 (21:15):
Let's do some
research.
So metaphysicians are the onesI think that bring those crazy
Twizzler moments to society andgive the scientists something to
chew on.
Speaker 1 (21:28):
Yeah, I agree, I
totally agree, and I'm
appreciative of themetaphysicians.
Speaker 2 (21:32):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (21:34):
Especially my wife
yeah.
Speaker 2 (21:38):
It's changed my
perception.
Speaker 1 (21:40):
You know my
perception on life, that's for
sure.
It's changed a lot of things Ofcourse.
Being married to ametaphysician, it's changed
things.
Speaker 2 (21:47):
Appreciation has a
very high vibration.
It does of position it's?
Changed things appreciation hasa very high vibration.
It does, and the reason it isso very important is the
perspective that you come fromalways has a frequency.
Let's break it down for asecond and get to the
nitty-gritty, and so dependingon what frequency you're
carrying is going to create theway you see your current reality
(22:13):
.
Speaker 1 (22:13):
So you can see.
Speaker 2 (22:14):
your current reality
is oh my God, I'm victim this is
happening to me.
Speaker 1 (22:18):
Yeah, you focus on
the negatives.
Speaker 2 (22:20):
I have to do this and
this, and how am I going to do
this?
And if you can just stop for asecond and you can twist it
around and you can say, yeah, Imay have to do all those things,
but even like so, I'll dial in.
This is a big one, I can'tafford to really do that, and
(22:43):
because I have to use my entirepaycheck for my bills, so
there's not many left over forme to go and have fun.
And people will say that how doyou afford to go and buy all
that scuba equipment?
who said I could afford it wellI mean, and that's the thing is,
(23:05):
you know we're, we're notmulti-millionaires in the real
life, we just find the differentfocal point.
Momentary fun and everything soin our life, the conversation
goes more like this I am sograteful and appreciative that I
have the financial means to paywhat we call bills.
Speaker 1 (23:29):
The financial means
to pay what we call bills.
Speaker 2 (23:30):
I'm grateful that I
have the money coming in to be
able to pay for my lovely funmotor coach and the decorations.
I am grateful that anappreciative that I have food in
my cupboard and made somereally good food last night.
(23:50):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (23:53):
That chicken was good
.
Speaker 2 (23:54):
Yeah, did a chicken
for you on the grill and a.
Speaker 1 (23:58):
Cheeseburger.
Beyond Plant based, plant basedBeyond, beyond is my.
That's a product that youactually use, and so that's what
I'm saying and that's like kindof like, feeding back to the
store is being able to feedthose products into the store so
people understand what we useright and how we live right,
yeah, yeah, I I totally agreewith you because, um, I think
(24:22):
people want to know from otherpeople oh yeah, how was it?
Speaker 2 (24:26):
how does it work out?
What is it?
What does it look like?
Speaker 1 (24:30):
I mean, I wouldn't
have 600000 people following me
on my Google restaurant reviewsif people didn't want to know
what other people think.
Speaker 2 (24:37):
Right, exactly.
Speaker 1 (24:39):
For sure.
Speaker 2 (24:41):
And we're
appreciative of them right Right
yeah.
So you know, appreciation isvery, very important.
Um, so you know appreciation isvery, very important.
Um, and so if you can practicemoving your perspective to place
appreciation yeah, rather thanlooking at it as victimhood or
(25:03):
lack, right, we will.
It will start to change yourreality.
It'll start to change yourheart rhythm.
It will start to change yourreality.
It'll start to change yourheart rhythm on an energetic
level.
You'll start to feel I want tosay heart rhythm what I don't
necessarily mean your EKGpattern.
What I mean is the way you feelinside of you.
Yeah, instead of it feelinglike a begrudging chore to go
(25:27):
write the checks or pay thebills or however you do them
right to pay your bills.
You, with practice, can get to aplace where paying your bills
is.
You can find gratitude in doingthat yeah and so when you do
that, the mechanism of theuniverse is okay.
(25:50):
Always, no matter whatfrequency level you're at on the
emotional guidance system, youwill always bring more of that
frequency in with you.
100%.
Start practicing appreciation, which is, you know, it's very,
(26:12):
very high up there.
It will begin to change and so,instead of drudgingly going and
saying, okay, I got to pay thisbill, and watching the money
dwindle away back down tonothing, Right.
Come into that place where youare actually so appreciative and
so grateful that it almostgives you a sense of oh, you
(26:38):
know what, I'm going to go paymy bills.
Speaker 1 (26:40):
Yeah, this is cool.
You know, and that's where youknow, one of the books that I
actually have started written iscalled If you Think Broke,
you'll Be Broke.
One of the books that Iactually have started written is
called If you Think Broke, you'll Be Broke.
Yeah, and the habits that wehave is we lose our appreciation
for the things that we can andcannot do with our money, and we
(27:01):
appreciate it when we can't dothings, and this is where people
get misguided through society.
Speaker 2 (27:10):
They trip up.
Yeah, yeah, it's a trip up spot.
Speaker 1 (27:13):
And so when you start
thinking, oh my gosh, I got
paid today, my money's all gonebecause I had to pay my bill.
Yeah, the very minute, yeah, the minute that energy comes
into your reality.
You got to grab a hold of it.
You do Because your cup willnever get bigger until you start
thinking bigger, yeah, and youstart thinking bigger yeah.
And you start allowing theenergy to flow, because you'll
(27:34):
never find it.
Money is energy and it comesand goes.
The more it goes, the more itcomes.
The more it comes, the more itgoes, don't matter.
Like I just read something thismorning this morning, 92% of
people that live in the upperclass live in the upper class
(27:54):
still don't have six months ofsavings In the upper class.
Think about it, the upper classpeople.
So these are people that aremaking in excess of $220,000 a
year, but they still don't havewhat's considered the societal
top belief of six months and oftheir, of their bills, in
savings yeah, so, and so thatcan be a trip up it is that it's
(28:19):
a trip up.
So I wonder that's where I wasgoing as it is when you get to
the point to where youunderstand that you going
through life and you identifyyour spot in life as I want more
money.
This is why I want more money.
I want to live like that person.
I want to live like that person.
I want to live like that personInstead of appreciating you,
(28:40):
living like you you get caughtup in the mix, and so it doesn't
matter if you live paycheck topaycheck when you're broke,
because if you don't change youwhen you're rich, you're going
to live paycheck to paycheckwhen you're broke, because if
you don't change you when you'rerich, you're going to live
paycheck to paycheck.
That's right and when you andbeing appreciative in that spot
where you are, will change life.
(29:00):
Yeah, it changes everything.
Speaker 2 (29:02):
Not only in the money
relationship, but in your human
relationships.
Oh yeah, in your own bodyrelationship um appreciating
these guns, these gunsappreciation can go in in all
(29:25):
sections of the life pie yeahand it it is necessary it is,
it's a necessary and it's such agood.
If you want change, yes if youreally want true change.
Speaker 1 (29:37):
Appreciation is is a
very, very big key to unlocking,
because I guarantee you, everyone of you if you stop and think
back through when you werehappiest in your life, and is
when you weren't thinking aboutbills, you were going out and
just living life.
Yeah, you were just living.
(29:58):
And because worry is a bademotion, appreciation and
positivity is good emotions.
They're not good or bad, but itcreates positive energy.
Speaker 2 (30:10):
Right, I mean it does
.
Speaker 1 (30:12):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (30:12):
But I don't want to
get into that place of.
Oh my God, I have this worryand so now I'm a bad person.
Speaker 1 (30:22):
No, no, no, no.
I don't want to drag peopleinto that.
No, it's just habits, weirdplace, patterns, beliefs.
Speaker 2 (30:27):
Of labeling things
good or bad.
Right, it's a good place oflabeling things good or bad,
right, why not?
Speaker 1 (30:31):
It is just.
Aren't you the salty tarot?
Speaker 2 (30:34):
I am on some days,
but today I am a wise teacher
and guide.
Speaker 1 (30:40):
Oh, okay.
Speaker 2 (30:40):
And I don't want
people to punish themselves.
Speaker 1 (30:44):
There's enough of
that going on.
Speaker 2 (30:46):
I agree.
You know, this is all aself-paced learning program.
Speaker 1 (30:53):
Yes.
Speaker 2 (30:54):
And if you are in the
place of worry, I want to
gently teach you some practiceson how you can be aware that
you're doing it and change yourhabit.
To create a different habit andappreciation is one of those
ways, and at first it's going tofeel like shit.
Speaker 1 (31:14):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (31:15):
At first it's going
to feel like a big fat lie when
you say, oh, I am so gratefulthat I can pay my effing bills.
I am so glad I got a $300 billthis week and you're going to be
sitting there making out yourbills and watching the money
disappear and at first, becauseyou're in the habit of finding
(31:37):
the negative concepts in life, your monkey mind or your inner
dialogue is going to be likegirl, don't even kid yourself,
this feels like shit.
Speaker 1 (31:49):
You know, in its
mindset, and that's okay.
Here's like shit, you know, andit's mindset, and that's okay.
Here's proof of mindset.
Here's proof of that mindsetright there.
And I brought up the electricbill.
Oh my gosh, I got a $300electric bill this month.
Well, we have a gentleman thatused to work for us.
He's from Russia or Macedonia, yeah, and I was in a
(32:10):
conversation with him, anotherperson one morning and she said
man, our electric bill is crazythis month and it was.
He's like it's 400 somethingdollars and she's like did
something go on?
It's like the energy.
She's asking all thesequestions and we're just all
(32:30):
sitting there, you know, talking.
And he looked up off his thingand he said I didn't have
electric in Macedonia until Iwas 35.
Speaker 2 (32:38):
Because he couldn't
afford it.
Speaker 1 (32:40):
They didn't even have
it in his village.
Speaker 2 (32:42):
It wasn't available
at all, it wasn't available
until he was in his 30s.
Wow.
Speaker 1 (32:47):
And he said so.
You know, for me, paying for anelectric bill doesn't bother me
.
You know pretty much.
Speaker 2 (32:54):
Right, because he's
in a state of appreciation of
just having it.
And that's where we get able toaccess it where it wasn't even
an option.
Speaker 1 (33:03):
Yeah, like he said,
americans have it so easy.
You know, he said that becausewe get so used to expecting to
have these things that when wepay for it, but yet we want it
we forget to be appreciativethat we have it.
Speaker 2 (33:18):
Yeah, for sure.
Speaker 1 (33:20):
So if you don't want
to pay for it, then don't get it
.
Speaker 2 (33:23):
Right.
Speaker 1 (33:24):
But be appreciative
when you can pay for it.
Speaker 2 (33:27):
Well, yeah, and I
mean you know that's a very key
he even talked about water.
Speaker 1 (33:33):
He had to go out and
get buckets of water because
they had a big well.
There was four houses.
Every house, every four houses, had their own well.
And they would go out and crankup their water.
What it brings up is that youcomplain about the the electric
bill, but it still is a choiceyeah, you can live without that
(33:55):
your interest rate on yourcredit card is high, but you're
the one that signed up for thecredit card there are people out
there that live withoutelectricity and without water
and so it still is a choice likethat guy and we.
What was the name of that book?
It's Amazing what you Can Dowhen you Don't Know that you
Can't or something.
Speaker 2 (34:15):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (34:16):
We met him at that
lecture that time and he was
talking about how he went toSouth Africa Right and how he
was totally amazed that not onlydid people not have electric,
they didn't have vehicles andthey didn't have running water.
Speaker 2 (34:30):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (34:31):
And anyway to make a
long story short, but they still
thrived.
Speaker 2 (34:34):
But they still
thrived, yeah.
Speaker 1 (34:36):
Millions of people,
millions of people.
Speaker 2 (34:38):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (34:38):
But it was a pretty
interesting conversation that he
told us that when he came back, how much differently he looked
at life.
When you're over there and youcan't find a coke or a pepsi
because they don't sell them,right?
You can't get candy bar.
Yeah, if you want to, if youwant a snack, you go out and you
find your sugar cane thathappened to us a little bit on
(34:59):
the cruise yeah, I did, I knowright we like we're pepsi people
didn't have no pe, no Pepsi, onmy cruise.
Speaker 2 (35:06):
And they didn't.
Speaker 1 (35:09):
Offer Pepsi.
Speaker 2 (35:10):
Was it Pepsi?
Speaker 1 (35:12):
Yeah, they didn't
have Pepsi, there was only Coke
products.
Speaker 2 (35:14):
You had to drink Coke
, yeah.
Speaker 1 (35:16):
Yeah, and so I didn't
drink Coke, I drank root beer
or Dr Pepper.
Speaker 2 (35:19):
Yeah, On occasion we
would drink the Coke products
Like I'd get Sprite and youwould get Coke.
Speaker 1 (35:32):
But when we got home
it was like oh my God, this
Pepsi tastes so good, and theydidn't have Reese's Peanut
Butter Cups on that ship.
Speaker 2 (35:37):
Right.
Speaker 1 (35:39):
Who doesn't have
Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, the?
Speaker 2 (35:40):
comforts of home.
Speaker 1 (35:42):
I know right, Because
I have to have my peanut butter
at night.
Speaker 2 (35:45):
How are you ever
going to go to other places?
Speaker 1 (35:48):
I'll take some with
me.
What do you mean, miss?
I sent two cases of water toMaui before I went there.
Speaker 2 (35:58):
Hey, I'm just
preparing so that I don't have
to be in that boat.
You could have shipped somePepsi over to the ship.
Speaker 1 (36:03):
I didn't know.
They didn't have it.
I assumed they would.
Speaker 2 (36:06):
Do your research.
Speaker 1 (36:06):
I had never been on a
cruise before, remember, do I
didn't?
Speaker 2 (36:08):
know they didn't have
it, I assumed they would Do
your research.
Speaker 1 (36:09):
I had never been on a
cruise before.
Remember, do your research.
But anyway, so, beingappreciative, I mean, I was
appreciative that we were on acruise because that was my first
one.
Speaker 2 (36:17):
Yeah, you know.
It's easy, though, to sit hereand say, oh, you know what.
The key to all this magicalwoohoo is just bringing in
appreciation.
But you know, when you're inthe deep throes of shadow work
and really have a perspectivethat your life is, shit yeah.
You want to tell those peopleto F off?
Speaker 1 (36:40):
And it's so easy to
focus on the other negatives it
is when you're in that habit.
Speaker 2 (36:44):
It really is, and so,
with this one, you may very
well be in a place where you'vegot to take t90 tiny little
steps right, and what I'mtelling you is is that we've all
been there yeah and it ispossible to train yourself to
have a different thought process, a different pattern of habit.
(37:07):
Yeah, and even if you can onlydo one tiny step at a time, it
does, it does it does help countand be appreciative for the
time.
It does add up and it willeventually, with consistency, it
will begin to change your uhawareness and your perspective,
(37:42):
because what happens with yoursystem is, if you're in a habit
of noticing the lack component, that's your norm, and so you
consciously have to start makinga decision that you want your
norm to be different.
Yeah, Agreed.
And so when you find yourselffeeling that kind of crummy way
(38:03):
and if you're living it activelyright now, you know what I'm
talking about that really justheavy pessimistic shit lick on
the world around.
You agreed, yeah, if you will dothe tiny, microscopic steps of,
even if it feels like a lie, even if your monkey mind says
(38:24):
you know what, oh crazy b.
Speaker 1 (38:27):
why are you doing
this, crazy B?
Speaker 2 (38:29):
It's not working.
Try to ignore that and stillmake yourself work through it.
Speaker 1 (38:34):
Yes.
Speaker 2 (38:35):
Find something every
day that you can appreciate,
even if it's tiny, yep, tiniestlittle thing, because it's a
loop.
Speaker 1 (38:43):
It's a.
It's a loop.
When you start focusing on thenegatives, the next thing you
know that's all you're focusingon.
And it can sneak up on you.
Because you know I got caughtin that trauma loop, doing that
trauma crap, where I would focuson the bad things that
traumatically have happened inmy life and kept reliving it and
telling people the stories andgoing through that loop and I
was like, until you saidsomething like how long are you
(39:04):
going to keep living in thatloop?
I'm like son of a bitch.
She's right again.
Dope, dope, can you get thatknife out of my back?
Where's your button?
But the whole shebang behind itis.
We get caught in that loop andthat's what I wanted to bring to
(39:24):
everybody's attention today inthe podcast is, even if you have
to struggle or fight a littlebit, stop and find something to
be appreciative for.
Speaker 2 (39:31):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (39:32):
You know like,
there's this relationship couple
that I worked with one time andshe was complaining all the
time that he was on his phone.
Speaker 2 (39:42):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (39:43):
He's on his phone all
the time.
I get no attention.
I get no attention.
Yeah, okay, so let's stop andlook at you.
Speaker 2 (39:50):
Right.
Speaker 1 (39:51):
Because, for one
thing, he's sitting in the couch
with you, he's sitting in theliving room with you.
Speaker 2 (39:57):
Right.
Speaker 1 (39:57):
Are you appreciative
that he is sitting there with
you?
Yeah, because it is a choicefor him to sit there with you.
Speaker 2 (40:01):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (40:03):
And so if you're so
worried that he's on the phone
with some other girl, you shouldstop and say or work, or
whatever.
You should stop and say he'smade a choice to come sit with
me, right, and you should beappreciative.
And what are you doing to showhim that you're appreciative,
that he's made that choice?
Because it's a choice, yeah, and so find the appreciation.
(40:23):
You can find the appreciationif you just think about things
differently.
Yeah, look at it in a differentway.
Speaker 2 (40:28):
That's what I said
Appreciation across the board
works in every relationship inthe life pie.
Speaker 1 (40:34):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (40:35):
It really does.
And so find some section ofthat life pie that you can
remind yourself of.
You know what, golly, I amreally really glad, or
appreciative, or whatever wordyou'd like to use to bring in
and recognize the frequency ofthat vibration that I have this
(40:58):
or that or this or that.
It may not be right now yourbudget or your money, so stay
away from that section of thelife pie.
It may be that you bought a newhouse plant and you love it to
death and it looks amazing andyou've been wanting it for a
long time, and that may be theonly thing that you can find to
(41:22):
appreciate right this minute isthe fact that you get this tiny
little succulent that costs$1.50, and it sits on your sweet
little desk and you just lookat it and that, for right now,
may be the only appreciationthat you can wonder in.
But that frequency, findingthat frequency by revisiting
(41:46):
that little succulent, byrevisiting that little succulent
, is you training yourself tofind the frequency of
appreciation so that you canbring more of that energy into
your life and into the othersections of the life.
Speaker 1 (42:02):
Pie, that's how it
works, and you're rewiring not
only your frequency on an energylevel but you begin to rewire
the neural pathways in the brainso that for you for for those
of you that don't have video andyou're just listening I'm hand
(42:24):
speaking right now and I whackedthe microphone but and so and
here's an easy place to start Ifyou're having a hard time
figuring out, like you just said, it's little baby steps, even
if it's just the fact is, youknow what?
Thank you, I can walk today.
Thank you, I can blink my eyestoday, some people are not even
(42:45):
there.
Yeah, I mean just whatever thatis, because, like, don't take
for granted, like I had, we hadformer customers of ours.
She was telling me one day herand her husband had been
together for almost 45 years andabout 20 years ago he had a
massive stroke and he is nowwheelchair bound and he's you
(43:06):
know, his attitude changes, everything is different.
And she actually said to me oneday she's like I'm appreciative
that he's here, yeah, but I amregretful that I didn't
appreciate when he was the wayhe was before.
Speaker 2 (43:16):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (43:17):
I took it for granted
and because you know, life
changes and life can change, andso be appreciative of today, be
appreciative of who you are.
Speaker 2 (43:24):
Some people are not
there.
Yeah, just whatever little bittything you find there's some
days where all I can do isreally zero in on the robust
flavor of my coffee that morningand really be appreciative of
how good it is, hitting the spotthis morning, and some days
that's where literally I have tostart.
(43:46):
Yep, some days that's whereliterally I have to start If I
have woken up with a wonkyenergy or been doing some deep
belief work or shadow workthat's, you know, kind of got me
brought down just a little bitthe morning when I get up, yeah,
bringing myself to the, to thenow and to the awareness of
(44:10):
actually honing in on what thecoffee tastes like and giving
recognition to the fact that, wow, you know what this coffee
tastes really good today and Iam really appreciative of that
right this minute thank you, hubby, for making it and that
may be all you can do for thatday.
Speaker 1 (44:29):
Yeah, agreed, and so
start there.
Yeah, start, just whatever ittakes, just find something.
Speaker 2 (44:34):
Yeah, until you can
make bigger steps and bigger
steps, and bigger steps.
Speaker 1 (44:38):
Well, that was a
quick.
That was quick.
They went by, didn't it?
It's crazy when you startappreciating things.
I'm fat, the time flew byalready.
That is insane.
Speaker 2 (44:48):
Yeah, it does, it
speeds by.
Speaker 1 (44:52):
But anyway.
