The Sport Report - Day 11 Oui-cap

We had some incredible performances overnight, including a smashed world record by the Men's Cycling Pursuit Team in the process cementing their position in the gold medal race, our youngest ever medalist taking home a gold, 14 year-old Arisa Trew, and 3 of our sporting teams progressing to the semifinals in their respective sports!

It’s a battle for first with the US pulling ahead of China with 24 golds, 31 silvers and 31 bronze medals, China has 22, 21 and 16, Australia have snatched 3rd with 14, 12 and 9, France is close behind with 13, 16 and 19 and Great Britain are currently 5th with 12, 15 and 19.

Kate Bates talks all things cycling to mix 106.3’s Kristen and Nige.

The ladies move on to the semi finals to play
off against the US, with the winner advancing to the
gold medal match. Melissa Wu was unfortunately unable to place
this year in the women's ten meter platform diving, but
now having represented Australia in five consecutive games, she is
the only Australian diver to have claim to that achievement.
The women's kayak double five hundred meters sprint team have
qualified to the semis and the men's quad kayak five

velodrome sprint team took home a bronze defeating the host
team France, and the men's cycling Purshue team demolished Italy
and beat their world record, just to rub soal in

having snatched a two to one victory away from the

ladder and are looking like the favorites to take home
the gold. It continues to be a battle for first,
with the US pulling ahead of China with twenty four gold,
thirty one silvers and thirty one bronze medals. China has

with fourteen, twelve and nine. France is close behind with thirteen,

metals because you know, swimming, they get to swim like forwards, backwards,
sidewards and with funny frog legs. So I think if
