(00:01):
Well, hello, I guess this is going to be an interesting day
for us listeners. For you listeners, welcome to
Squirrels After Dark. Yeah.
So I'll let Spider go into that a little bit with more detail,
but I welcome everyone and I'm so confused right now.

(00:23):
We have a small, small crew withus today.
We are missing several of our our regulars, our Co hosts being
Mother's Day. They all have, you know,
motherly loving their mother, things to do J Rod is not here,
T-bone is not here. Juki is doing her spring
concert, Mother's Day weekend with the Maple Leaf Singers.

(00:47):
She has a show today, a fantastic show by the way.
We went to it last night so it was great.
Joining me today, I have my lovely husband Rick Hunter, also
known as Spider Pug Bucker Buck.Yeah, there he is.
We've got sprinkles with us. Who's actively camera ING?
Camera ING. Yeah, background.

(01:09):
We've got Silent Peter and the kids love them all.
There he is, y'all can't see him.
We're not recording, we're not doing visual on this one.
So it's just gonna be an audio podcast.
And we have a special first timeguest joining us today.
I'd like you all to meet Pop Tank.
Welcome, welcome, welcome, welcome.

(01:30):
This podcast is brought to you from the unseated and
traditional territories of the Coquitlam First Nations, and we
thank you for allowing us to be here.
On that note, Spider, the fuck just happened?
I don't know. We had a technical issue, so to
all of our listeners, we are going to reschedule Tank on

(01:50):
another episode if that's OK with Tank.
Yeah. Because we had a wonderful first
episode cuz technically on my episode we did it and we we lost
the recording. It didn't download.
On that note, First things first.
Crack a beer. So we had a lot of great
questions. It was a great episode.
We're gonna learn a lot, so we're gonna go back and we're

(02:11):
obviously gonna have to talk about a lot of stuff.
But we will have to re meet tankagain.
I know, but we're not going to. But it's like kind of nice.
We actually have a lot. We don't have a lot of Co hosts
on the show. I can go into it.
Highlights of the show Tank short.
He's 5 foot 6 and very intimidating.
So welcome to my show. Like like we told you, this is

(02:34):
unorganized chaos. How do we describe Holly?
Most organized scatterbrain about that?
Yeah. Yeah.
OK, So that's Holly. This would be the podcast
version of that. Yeah.
Organized chaos. It's like a wedding, but not
it's. Too bad we last the last
recording because if I come back, I don't know what it'll be

(02:56):
like, but I know like the last two weeks.
If we're talking about the last two weeks, Yep, has been pretty
wild for me, yeah. I know.
Even a few firsts in in the wellafter dark department.
Would you like to highlight someof the stuff that we talked
about? Because again, it's just us here
right now. And I'd love again, I know this
is only gonna be the After Dark episode, but I'd love for us to

(03:17):
get. Meet the tank.
Everybody to meet you. So hi, I'm pup tank.
I've been a pup for about 2 1/2 years.
I kind of went from being outside of the community.
Well I've been a furry. Well had been a furry for about
7 years. I didn't that was or at least
involved in the furry community.I don't know.
That was not information that was provided in the missing
episode. Well, I don't like to talk about

(03:37):
it too much, honestly. Oh my God, you'd have been such
the cutest little furry ever. I have.
Mixed feelings towards that community.
And so I, I kind of got involvedwith the pup community a couple
of 2 1/2 years ago, which was just sort of, as we were coming
out of the pandemic and there was a, a real lack of leadership
and organization within the community.
So I decided to step up and I started organizing the monthly

(04:00):
Friday night social at our localleather bar for pups.
And which is, which is an, is a,it's an evening event.
And it's definitely a very adultoriented, much more so than a
mosh would be and is. Very fun when I do get to attend
the odd one, yeah. It's all about creating a safe
space where pups can be themselves and have fun and

(04:22):
interact with each other and connect.
And, and beyond that, there's there's very few rules beyond,
you know, typical, I shouldn't say typical, but, but, but very
firm, you know, consent rules and, and, and you know, the
respect, obviously. But yeah, it's grown from like
when I first went first showed up at Pump Jack 2 1/2 years ago

(04:44):
of being like just a handful of people at the back of the pub to
now over 100 attendees. We're actually packing the
space. Very much so.
And, and yeah, it's, yeah, it's great.
It's great energy. We love it.
And I decided to Last fall, I started organizing for an event
that just happened a week and a half ago, Doghouse XL, which was
a a just a full-fledged dance party like.

(05:08):
And it was done so well. The venue was amazing.
Yeah. And it went really, really well,
yeah. What was I gonna say?
I was gonna say something but I can't remember what it was.
I'm not sure we were talking. There was a lot of things that
we covered and we're gonna try and recap for some of our
listeners. If I can find the old episode,
of course I will continue to digthrough my thing cuz you never
know. It's a weird thing.
It's the Internet, We might be able to find it, but without

(05:28):
that being said. Yeah.
So I mean Dog Dog House as the name, that's the name of the
event, that dog house at Pump Jacks.
Yeah, and we're working on the Pride parade this year.
Yep. Which is gonna be exciting.
Yes, we had our meeting the other day.
We had our first new meeting at Pump Jacks to create a new safe
space. To organize that more, yeah, I

(05:51):
would say to get more organized right, collectively as a
community. I I agree yeah yeah cuz we're.
Whatever that looks. Like I think exactly, I think
you described the best. The bunch of pups are like like
puppies. They're where we were stacking
outside prior. Pups are very.
Well, they're very puppy, very enthusiastic, lots of exuberant

(06:12):
energy, 0 organization. That that describes.
That describes. That describes an actual dog
park in Coquitlam for real. Yeah.
The the name for the new group LM Paw Lower Mainland Paw.
Is that oh is that? Is that your suggestion?
That's my suggestion. OK LM paw because I.
Don't think we've decided on an actual name yet, but you can

(06:34):
throw your. You can throw suggestions out
there all you want. Well, I mean you, I mean the the
old group Van Paw that has been disbanded and kind of
disappeared or whatever. The group.
Wasn't overly to just the name itself.
Wasn't overly inclusive to all the Lower Mainland pups that
make the journey from like Surrey to Vancouver for.

(06:55):
Doghouse events. It was before my time.
So I mean, did we go into Vancouver from Coquitlam here
for the event, which is like we might as well be coming from
Alberta? So so we we could call it
grandpa. Savage.

(07:19):
I'm not even part of the pup community and I say no grandpa.
Oh, that's such a bad. Oh.
My God, it doesn't. Doesn't even fit.
There ain't nothing in the LowerMainland that is grand.
They're they're that sounds. Like, really Greater Vancouver?
That's that's that's Tank's attempt at a dad puppy joke.

(07:40):
That was sad. Sure got him chuckling though.
Right. Oh, you're, you're, you're
wondering what these are. These are my little valve stem
covers. Oh nice, that's what I was
guessing. Yeah, they were a little to go
on the car valve I. Thought those were you know
when. You get your ears pierced.
Do you have those? No, they're puppy paw valve
stems ears. Stretchers, what they called.
Oh yeah, no, they're for the car.
That they have, like when you have a hole in your ear and you

(08:01):
stretch it. Oh, I thought, yeah.
Plugs. That's not what I think of when
I think of plugs. And I'm thinking tampons as
well. So we are, we are happily going
to arrange, I'm going to throw out a couple of dates to have
Tank back on the episode becauseagain, and actually ironically,
how things happen because we'll do more in the bulge into what's
going on. So we're going to kind of recap

(08:22):
because Juki will actually, it would be nice to have you back
because Juki will actually get to meet you, which she was.
She's actually pretty upset thatshe didn't get to meet you
anyway. So everything happens for a
reason. And have you had fun so far?
Yeah. Good.
So you're excited to be back? For sure.
It's not as intimidating as everybody thinks.
We always make it sound a lot worse than it actually is.

(08:42):
I do a lot of public speaking infront of the worst possible in
audiences, so yeah, OK, good. It's a day job, so.
Got it. Yeah, I'm glad because we've had
so many people come over here all the time, like, oh, I think
it's so intimidating. I'm like, oh that's fun.
Oh, I'll leave it to the to the listeners to guess what my day
job is. Based on that description, yeah.

(09:03):
They'll never get it. Good call.
I love that. Let them.
Let them guess. Stinky pups.
Love you screwed up. I had a secret word, but hubby
has a new secret word for this episode.
It is. Dog House.
Oh, perfect. God damn nice.
You beat me. All right.
Well played. Well played.
And for the mystery episode thatmight not get aired, it was

(09:25):
ACDC. So we expect to hear both words
in this in. This episode, I know our
listeners are going to go in andlike what we didn't get full
episodes, but you know what we'll have we'll have tank back.
It's going to be fun. We'll.
Have By the way, this is season 3 episode 10.
Of the Squirrel Hour Squirrels after Dark.
Oh that's right, my episode was Lost.

(09:45):
I've lost in space. God it's so weird that my my
show's gonna be 1 episode ahead of yours.
Normally I'm like episodes behind.
Oh, it will be. That would be kind of weird,
creepy. So we were talking about the
Doghouse XL and Sprinkles had great questions for Tank, which
hopefully we can revisit. But each episode is different
with this being squirrels after dark.
Let's talk about after dark. Let's let's talk about the

(10:07):
darkroom. Yes, please.
Juicy, Juicy. Sprinkles I think I'm well known
in the community as a a very sexual person.
Yes. And.
You should see his telegram. The the we're not very open.
But the problem is, is that is that I'm not just a sexual
person. And I do want to.
First of all, I like, I love dancing.

(10:29):
That's. Right.
I'm also a go go dancer and I'm very passionate about it.
Are you so good at it? Thank you.
And, and so, you know, that's obviously not inherently sexual.
It is not absolutely. And, and when I, when I
organized this space for this event, it did have three very
distinct spaces. It did have like a beautiful
lounge space that was heavily used.

(10:50):
People really liked. It I loved it.
I was there on arrival and departure.
Yeah, and it had like a great dance floor.
We also decorated it really nicely and, you know, equipped
it with excellent DJs and just the just the general space that
we chose to use has an excellentsound system and and a really
good vibe to it. And then, and then we.

(11:11):
Also had a darkroom. And this is where Sprinkles is.
We lost sprinkles on the darkroom.
Us being part of the LGD, you know, LGBTQ community, a lot of
us, a lot of us not everybody isvery familiar with different
events and darkrooms are not uncommon in large.
Events. Eventual events.
However, please educate our little sprinkles.

(11:33):
So dark room at a gay party is essentially a place where I
guess. I guess there may be some
straight kink events that might have spaces like this.
As well, I think they do. But in, in, in gay parties that
certainly were prevalent. Some places, some parties, not
all, have these spaces that theydesignate specifically for

(11:55):
intimate activities. SOP.
Yes. The voyeurism in me, if it was
first, if I saw straight couples, yeah, I'd be into it,
watching it. Yeah.
So that might be, you know, everyone goes there for
different reasons, but you know,as long as you're respectful and
follow rules of consent and. Clean up after yourself.
Nobody want to step on a used condom.

(12:19):
Or slip in a pool of Lube. Lube, say Lube, Lube.
It went from a three letter wordto a four letter word.
That three letter word was probably gonna start with AC.
Cunt. You'd be surprised. 3 letters.
Honey, but three. But yeah, but a lot of thought
actually goes into a darkroom. And if you don't organize it

(12:41):
properly, yes, people won't use it.
Yes. But I agree, we definitely did a
good job I think with this. Was used well it.
Was very well used. I I would poke my head in
occasionally just to check in on.
Things and it was busy. Full.
It was very busy. So what did you do to organize
it better than other dark rooms to make?
It use of all good so so so key things are making sure it's it's

(13:05):
well equipped with furniture. So by furniture I mean.
It's very handy and a tank here broke out the saw and drill.
So a sling. A sling is a common piece of
furniture that is basically likea little bit like a hammock, but
allows you to sit in it in a waythat conveniently allows access
for sexual activities. Backdoor entry.

(13:27):
Yes, or front. I wouldn't know though.
Actually, would it? I don't know.
Would it work? No, I think it's backdoor only.
I think it's backdoor. Only OK, I don't.
I don't If there was a female inthere, yes, front and backdoor
entry is achievable. I've seen porn, all right?
I I have not. Touché don't forget, I, I, I
would, I would rather watch straight porn than gay porn.

(13:50):
So yes, I've seen many of straight porn with, I don't
know, I think it's the the unachievable desire of the
straight guy having sex that I can never have sex with.
That is very interesting. Fascinating.
Because I thought you would all be into the gay porn because you
want to see two dudes having sex.

(14:12):
I mean, yeah, it's hot and all, but I mean, when it comes down
to it, the biggest turn on for me, I'm not saying for
everybody, but for me is the sexual desire for something that
I can't have or attain, Basically straight guys.
There's there's a whole section on Pornhub for that, you know, I
know, Yeah. Oh, you would know.

(14:33):
I'm just saying that before they.
Listen, although Pornhub has been disappointing me lately in
what I've been trying to find. In all honesty when pornhub got
rid of the amateurs and just made it like basic verified
creators and porn big name companies, Pornhub kind of
sucks. Well, that's the problem.

(14:54):
Is like I when lost. Yeah, yeah.
And I mean it. And that was that was go to
place for like amateurs, you know, where basically a couple
will set up their cell phone andhave sex in front of that and
upload it to Pornhub. That was entertaining.
I actually. Like that unscripted like a lot
of and it's not fake moans and groans.

(15:16):
And and what's your thought on that dank?
This is this is terrible. I don't really watch porn
anymore. I should say I don't watch other
people's porn. Anywhere you go.
Hank makes his. Creates his own porn.
You watch your own porn, yes? Oh damn, I wouldn't.
That's a very Games of throne narcissism there.

(15:36):
It's like fucking your own sibling.
God, you Lannisters. Wow, and my comment was harsh.
Wow. Wow.
Yeah, Yikes. So as you can see tank the
difference between the main episode.
If this shows you what kind of person is, I got this phone
specifically because it has a 40megapixel front facing camera,

(16:00):
yeah. OK.
I've seen his videos on Telegram.
Trust me, it's quality. Yeah, there's a crystal.
Good camera. Good camera, even in dark
settings you can still see a. Lot God.
So we're doing the Paris Hilton Video thing.
It allows for very well close. Ups my God.
But hopefully you're not lookingbored on your phone when you do
that. Definitely not.

(16:21):
Don't know he's wearing a pup hood coat so we can't see facial
expressions. Eye expressions, yes.
Yeah, so back to the dark room and shit.
So it has to be so it has to be well equipped.
So we had like we had like a a sex sling.
We also had benches. Very low lighting.
Yes, so lighting is super, superimportant.
Yes, you you cannot, but you can't have it.

(16:44):
Like at least personally, I hateit when it's so so dark that you
can't actually see anyone. Well, yeah, absolutely.
It, it creates a level of discomfort for me personally
where, yeah, I just, I can't seewho, who is actually in there,
what they look like. I kind of want you just have a
little bit of a visual information.
Absolutely. Basically, the lighting ambiance

(17:05):
that you want is a little bit less than candlelight.
Sure, it needs to be dark, but not pitch black.
Yeah. So I mean, candlelight gives off
actually quite a decent bit of lighting to it, but so you want
a little bit less than candlelight where it's dark but
you can still see. We, we, we, we, we put in a
programmable LED strip light along one wall of the room,

(17:29):
which will let us pick us pick both the color and the the
intensity. So so I like that we could tune
it perfectly. But I was you were saying that
you know, so you at least know who you're playing with in the
dark room. But isn't the point of the pup
mask is? So you did the anime?
Anonymity. Thank you.
Like not really seeing who you're having sex with.

(17:50):
So that's an interesting question that gets into sort of
what people's motivations for wearing a pup hood are.
Some people might wear it for the anonymity.
I don't think that's a particularly, I don't want to
say legitimate. I don't think that's like a that
doesn't make you a pup. If that's the sole reason you
wear a hood is to hide who you are, then you're not really a
pup. You could be wearing a bag over.

(18:11):
Your head, I meant like if for the director, I'm not
necessarily in the community. So I think it it's you wear a
pup hood because it you think itlooks sexy because it makes you
feel power, powerful and empowered.
Not necessarily, it's also a shield to like.
A lot of the pups use it as a mental it gives.
Them comfort, it makes them feelsafe, yeah.

(18:34):
Yeah. Sure, yeah, we part of our
community, we know a couple pupswho are very much ADHD and way
out there and everything else. But as soon as they put their
pup hood on because it. I'll I'll put it.
Sorry, I should have phrased it differently.
I wear my pup hood because it makes me feel sexy and
empowered. They're.
Gonna say I'm like, there you go.
Yeah, but you know what? It's funny because when we're

(18:56):
we're going to a dark room in our community and you walk into
there, trust me, there's very little anonymity because most of
us within the community. Know what?
Each other Facebook so it's likeyou do know who.
You're and I mean like. There's not a lot of.
Anonymity And nine times out of 10, you've already arrived to
the event with 10 other friends,so chances of bumping into these

(19:17):
people in the dark room are really good.
So anytime that anyone has ever asked me to take my hood off
because they want to see my faceor they're just whatever reason
I've taken it off, it's no issueat all.
Well, me neither. Right, go ahead.
Yeah, yeah, yeah. So, so that's, that's me
personally. I can't, I can't speak for
others. Some some people won't like
there's there's pups out there where they only know other

(19:42):
people in the community with their hood on like they're
people who have never seen them as human.
Well, I, I went down yesterday to the event for the meeting and
I saw Jer, who's gonna be on thepodcast.
So I'm going up ordering a drink.
And Jared was there and I look at him and I'm like, oh, hey,
how's it going? And he literally came over to

(20:03):
his house and he looked at me with like two dozen eyes and
like, who are you again? And I looked at my dog tag.
And then I turned around. I have this on.
I turned around with my name. I'm like.
Does any of this look familiar? Or maybe you're going to be on
the podcast in two weeks? He's like, oh shit.
Like maybe I'm wearing some identifiable things.

(20:23):
Dog tag. This is why we have this.
Well, no, so much easier becausesometimes you don't recognize a
pup from their hood. So thank God we have dog tags on
so at least we can see your names.
No 100% and like I'm pretty sureI told that story before but
when I saw Toby for the first time in his pup hood.
So the first time I ever met Toby and every time that I've

(20:44):
met Toby since for almost a yearhas been human.
And we just happened to be downtown on a Saturday for the
mosh. So we stopped by PJS for the
mosh and Toby was there in hood.I didn't know who he was.
Like we literally stood there and had a conversation for like

(21:07):
half an hour, 45 minutes just having a great old conversation
with this guy in a pub hood. I have no idea who he is.
And then he's like, all right, well, you know, nice chat with
y'all. You know, I've just got to go
with wash or whatever. And then next thing I know, I
see Toby, who I know as human, come around the corner.
And I was like, oh hey honey, how's it going?
Nice to see you, you know, wherehave you been?

(21:27):
And he looked at me and he's like, we just had a conversation
for like, over half an hour. And I was like, what?
And then he's like, do you not remember?
I was like, OK, you know what? In all fairness, that was the
first time I've ever seen you with your hood on.
Yeah. So I didn't know who the fuck I
was talking to at all. It can get confusing.
We know that we go down. I mean, when I was at the event

(21:49):
the other day, I had four different pups come up to me.
Well, not the night we did the social and I had four different
pups come up to me. And like, it's really finally
nice to meet you because we've only met online.
I've only ever talked to them inthe chat room.
So it was the first time ever, like, oh, I've talked to you for
so long in the in the Telegram chat, but I've never seen you in
person. I like yesterday I invited Jaxi

(22:10):
to the party and he was there and he comes up to me and I
laughed at him. He's like, oh, how's it going?
I'm like, good. Are you coming to the party next
weekend? And he's like, well, party.
I'm like the one you got invitedto.
I'm like, oh, really? Opens up his Telegram chat and
like, oh, there it is. I'm like, really like, like, I
knew I invited you. Like puppies.

(22:32):
They're everywhere. Their minds are scattered.
And two different personalities, human and puppy.
Yeah, why did you become a pup? I never asked that.
The original 1. Why?
What guy? Why I was I, I actually was
gonna ask that, but I I never asked.
Sprinkles in her journalism. What drew you to become Cuz like

(22:52):
in the past, what drew you to become?
Oh wait, no, I think he said that already because he was.
You were originally in like, thefurry community, yeah, but
you're off and the pups are veryclose to furry, but not quite
furry. But that's not what got me into
PUP, no. Play.
I don't know if we did I ask that.
Well, I guess it's not really. I don't really have a question

(23:13):
for why I mean. I was curious what drew you into
it. I can tell you how I became sort
of well, I guess I originally I've always liked the aesthetic
and I'm very much a fashion pop,right?
Like good fashion, you know, So I love like, I love taking
photos, like I love dressing up.I like taking photos and putting
them on Instagram and that sort of thing.

(23:33):
I know. And I found, I found I guess the
pop community honestly, through Instagram to a certain extent.
I originally thought that all pups had Instagram.
You know where I found mine? I found my Pups.
What platform got shut down? It wasn't Twitter.
Shut down. Wow.
There was, there was a, there was a big platform.

(23:56):
It's, it wasn't Twitter. It's not X, it was prior to that
and they got rid of. What MSN messenger?
ICQ, Instagram, Merck. Wow, thrilling me you're
throwing up all the old enough for all.
That Yahoo Groups. You know what?
And I did participate in all of them, but fuck you all.
Do you still have your Hotmail account?

(24:17):
God. Damn I have my Hotmail account
what are you saying? Sad, savage.
What the hell was it? It was there was a platform like
Instagram. It was more X-rated and they
shut it down. We, they had these, they have
all. That's why did you go to
Twitter. Craigslist personally.
Yeah, that's what I was thinking.
Tumblr, Yes. Oh.

(24:38):
Tumblr still. Exists.
It's still exists. It's it still exists.
They just. Removed all adult content.
Yes, they removed all the adult content, but there's still a lot
of adult content on there because there's still hard cock
everywhere I look. Flickr.
No, it was Tumblr, so thank you.So Tumblr is where I saw I had
my first connection with the PUPcommunity.

(25:00):
I guess they're not allowed on there anymore.
No, but so I used to like I'd wear a pup hood and take
pictures and that sort of thing, but it was like a very private
thing. And then I actually went to a
back door party, if you rememberthose.
I do remember those. Like a Halloween back door party
about 3 years ago and I did something that was just like
totally wild for me at the time.I guess it's still wild for a

(25:21):
lot of people. As I went into the dark room and
I was like, oh, there's, there'sa sling.
OK, I think I'm just going to sit in it.
And I sat in it. It's like totally not expecting
having any expectations at all. And this other very hot pop came
up to me and wanted to, to fuck me and, and he did.
And we just, I just had this like incredible experience, mind

(25:42):
blowing experience. Like all of it was just like, to
this day it feels like it was yesterday.
And yeah, that kind of immediately turned me on to
literally and figuratively into a pup and doing pup stuff.
So for me, I know we've talked about a lot of other people.
So your first experience when you became PUP was sexual?

(26:03):
Yes. And my first hoods that I
bought, but generic $50 hoods, Imean, it was, I definitely
didn't go out and spend, you know, custom hood for Mr. S
leather. We're again my first hood we
went to. Deadly Couture.
Deadly couture and I I I saw a hood never.
Purchased. We went there to look for latex
gear for me because I'm more into the latex rubber

(26:27):
communities. So we went to Deadly Couture to
look for, you know, just something for me.
And next thing I know he was buying a camouflage pup hood.
You. Know it was my first one was
camo too and but again sexual. I loved it and now I mean,
obviously the community is. I never got anything that day,
by the way. You got a new puppy.

(26:52):
How much? Is that?
Puppy in the window? The window how?
Much does that puppy. In the window, this pup has
caused me nothing but money and chaos since he became so he's
the. Real dog, yeah.
Right. I'm just glad he's house broken.
Fair, Good point. So yeah, so that's and I I never

(27:15):
asked that of you, which is which is kind of nice.
Again, it's like this is This iswhy we love the show because we
get to learn a lot about anybodywho comes over.
And this is because we don't getthe chance to sit around.
We're all lives are so busy, even in the pub community we go
to the events but when beyond this do we get to sit around and
actually learn about each other? That sidebar there doesn't look

(27:37):
familiar. This one, yes.
That's because I usually have ithidden.
I usually do this. It's still always there.
I just do this. Is there a different sidebar
that pops up? That's I can do 3.
You're wondering what they are. Chat, there's three sidebars.
Chat. No, that's it.
There's also 3. So there's one that used to show

(28:00):
uploading or that's. What it's doing there?
What was the other sidebar? Total, that's it.
There's only three, don't worry about it.
We only that looks different. It's not.
Anyway, sorry listeners. Did you have any other questions
you wanted to ask please? OK.
So for the cleanup portion, who's responsible for cleanup of

(28:21):
the darkroom after? Do you do most of it or are
they? Do the participants actually
clean up after themselves or howdo you manage responsibility of
cleanup? Honestly, it was not that messy.
Even the darkroom. It was not that messy.
It was like 30 seconds to grab like whatever was on the floor
and throw it in a garbage can. So most of them are

(28:42):
respectfully. Yeah, it was.
It was pretty clean. Pups don't weeks very much.
Yeah, I can't. I mean, I can't speak to every
event all the time, right. I've definitely attended events
where I like I had to walk out because it smelled so bad.
But but no, people were very well behaved.
I think the nice thing about this event and the the people
that attended was that is that pups are, are pretty

(29:03):
responsible, respectful people. You know, there there was, it
was a very fun, welcoming, positive vibe.
It wasn't, you know, creepy or or problematic in any way.
Like, no, we had a great, yeah, everybody had a wonderful time
and we've been to. And it kind of sucks.
I'm a little, I mean, I really enjoyed the vent.

(29:26):
That was it. It was a lot of fun.
I just wish we hadn't arrived solate.
But. I had a great time just the the
arrangement of it and there's different ways you can configure
the place and I've been to that venue enough times with
different configurations that I kind of knew what I wanted and
what I knew would work well. So we we put the darkroom where

(29:50):
it was for a couple of reasons. One is, is that it actually
effects airflow because you haveto put curtains up in that sort
of thing. And so where we put it really
made sure that there was good air flow through the building
because that's really important. If it gets too hot in there,
people don't want to be there. Especially in a basement, you
can't exactly open a window. But another huge benefit of it
is that it's right across from the from the bathrooms.
Also, yes, very well, well positioned.

(30:12):
Very easy for people to like just step out and like 6 feet in
front of you is the entrance to the washrooms we've.
Been to 2 events. Same event, two different
occasions. And those were, that was which
ones that one day they did, theyhost them in Las Vegas,
Vancouver. What's the name of the event?
Hustle Ball. Hustle Ball.
So the first one that we went tothe venue was, was it was

(30:37):
terrible. It was not great, but the dark 1
was amazing. The second venue we went to was
horrible. The venue itself was great, way
better dance floor, but the darkroom was horrible so they were
completely opposite of each other.
So the first, the first venue was at some vacant building
downtown Vancouver on like not on Granville, but it's like

(30:59):
maybe two blocks West or east ofGranville, Robson or Smythe or
something like that. Anyways, so it was 2 levels, you
went in and you went up the stairs to basically the second
floor is where they had like thedance floor and a bar up there
and everything else. And then down in the basement

(31:21):
was the playroom, which they also had a smaller dance floor,
different DJ playing different music, and they also had a bar
down there. The only thing was to get from
top to bottom, you actually had to go outside and then back into
the building, which sucked because it was raining.

(31:42):
But they were also smart becausethey did put up like blackout
curtain walls, same thing that you had for your for your dark
play area, the same kind of curtain walls.
They had that up out on the street because, I mean, it was
pretty much a clothing optional event type thing.
It wasn't great. Like I said, each one had their

(32:02):
own charm. Yours had the best of both
worlds. It was a great venue.
All was a great dance floor. Oh, and I guess the. 3rd
element. About about darkrooms is just
that it'd be discreet. Yeah.
Both because the people that areengaging those activities
probably want some discretion, but also the people not engaging
those activities also don't wantto be necessarily exposed to
that sort of stuff. Absolutely.
Yeah. So, so and definitely there's

(32:23):
people that told me afterwards they're like, oh, I didn't even
know there was one, which is which is perfect.
You don't really. Want it very.
It you want it to be very. Much blended in the background.
I mean, it was well, when we first, when Spider and I first
got there, we were kind of like standing beside it and didn't
even know it was there. It was it.
That's how it blended in. It was.
It didn't. Like I asked Spider.
I was like, oh, hey, I had, I thought I saw Frenchie here.

(32:48):
You were the one that actually told me.
Oh, yeah, he's in in the playroom.
And I'm like, what? Where?
And I turned around and I'm like, is that what that is?
So well done cuz of that's how blended in it was.
It was great. It just looked like, you know,
that somebody had put up the thewalls around like the utilities,
you know, hot water tanks and the boilers and everything else
for the building that that's kind of like what it looked

(33:09):
like. And then you kind of stick your
head into and it's a whole lot of huffing and moaning and, and.
There's also like right at the entrance, you see like the the
hymn box with all the condoms and and that sort of thing.
So that gives you a little bit of a cue as to what's supposed
to be going on there. So now you know Sprinkles what a
dark room is. You have learned something new

(33:31):
today. The more you know Star just went
over my head. Congratulations, Yeah.
So you sound like you're very good at planning events.
Have you ever thought of expanding that talented to say
general party planning and making it an actual business or?
I have not. Because I think you'd be good at
that. Sounds so boring.
No, it's. That was interesting.

(33:51):
Quick answer too. It's just I just haven't
considered. I've got a lot on my plate and
yeah, I kind of, I entered this,I guess not really from a from a
logistics perspective, I do havethat skill set, but I I really
got involved, I guess in this through my go go dancing.
So I, I go to, I attend a lot ofparties.
I work for a lot of parties. So I see the back end.

(34:14):
How much? Do you charge for Go Go Dancing?
Oh, good question. So how much do I charge?
How much how much do they pay me?
It'll be anywhere between, usually for for about an hour's
total worth of actual dancing spread over the span of the the
night. The night.
It'll be anywhere between 150 and $225.00 Canadian.

(34:35):
Just what the whatever the eventorganizer is willing to pay fair
do. You.
Do a lot of yoga and stretching, like when you're not dancing to
make sure you're. You mean between sets or just
now? Did you?
Just flex your packs. He did.
Sorry, that just happens. It happens occasionally.
Well, the the thought that was going through my head is, is
like between sets. I'll actually like a trick I

(34:57):
picked up from from a friend on my my first ever gig was that
we'll do push ups in the green room, OK, just to make your, you
give yourself a pump, you know, make your muscles look bigger on
my oftentimes in good shape. Do you do?
Yoga or or what do you do so that you when you do dance that
you're the flow of your body is.Seamless.
I I do stretch. I do a lot of stretching.

(35:20):
I think of. Yeah, I'm, I'm, you know, in
terms of dance, I think I'm an OK dancer.
I'm not a superb dancer. I mean, I, I think you are.
But I think I'm, I'm a decent dancer.
I think like there's three elements to dance, being a go go
dancer, right? There's your, your style, right?
Do do you have an expressive, appealing, sexy style?

(35:41):
There is your dance skill, right?
Can you move? Do you have body awareness?
And then there's your physical attractiveness.
And I have, I have two of the three pretty good, right?
I have, I have a great physique and and I have, I have really
good style, a very specific style that some organizers like
and some don't, right, because it's just very sort of hey,

(36:03):
that's kink oriented, yes, right.
So there's like a lot of leather, a lot of neoprene, a
lot of. Harnesses and jock straps.
So do you go go dance as? A pup or not, but I've almost
always danced as a pup. Almost and all of yeah, I, I
don't, I don't always have to. So there's sometimes I'll do
like a set or something where I won't wear the hood just cuz

(36:25):
that's not the style I'm lookingfor.
So I don't have to wear it personally.
And if somebody want to hire me not as a pup, then then I don't
don't mind. But generally I do.
Very much reminds me of the DJ pup that's outside Little
Sisters on Pride. Spike Spiky.
Pup. Spiky pup.
How so? I I was.
Just because you when you do your go go dancing, I mean, I

(36:50):
haven't seen you personally do go go dancing, but I've seen
I've seen your Instagram posts and some of your reels and
everything and you're actually pretty good at it.
And you are very stylish with it.
And Spiky pup is very stylish when he does his DJ ING, like
he's he's very sexual dressed, kind of like what you would do

(37:11):
to a point you were, you were just saying.
And I was like, OK, that just kind of screams spiky pup when
he does his DJ ING because he's very sexually dressed, but not
too provocative or anything. And.
OK, I'm, I'm pretty provocative.I'm pretty provocative.

(37:31):
I, I, we're thongs. To answer your question, I do
stretch. I don't do yoga, but I do work
out and I'm like I do and I do take dance classes.
So honey, would you like to finish it up?
