Got an got a couple of little sports things to
(00:58):
go through. So as all ways, when we have sports
to talk about, we bring Sea Dog on the show
to partaking the proceedings about sports and whatnot.
Speaker 1 (01:08):
Sea Dog was good with you, bro, what's going on?
Speaker 3 (01:10):
Not much? Man? What's up?
Speaker 1 (01:13):
He ain't nothing, man.
Speaker 2 (01:14):
I'm feeling well all right, So personally I'm feeling like
extra extra tire. Tuesdays is like my Sundays because my
workday is Wednesday through Sunday, so always have Monday and
Tuesday off, so today kind of feels like a Sunday
for me a little bit. I've just been in the
house chilling. Ain't really too much motion and shit going on.
(01:36):
But podcast wise, hey feels great. We got like a
lot of good sports to get it too real quick
and were just about to go ahead and like run
it up real quick. So I'm not gonna start with
my Philadelphia Eagles because I've had a lot of episodes
about them that you guys can go back and listen
(01:56):
to on the SS Experience podcast again, anywhere where you
get podcasts, you go ahead, get it there. Patrick Mahomes,
he ain't coming back, y'all. He's dead. Said it once, i'mone,
say it again. We laid the murder game down. Let
y'all know that we ain't fucking around out here, you
know what I mean. So no more Patrick Mahomes for
(02:17):
you guys. Sorry, pick a new goat because it ain't him. Sorry,
but see dog, I wanted to get into something a
little bit more current because the Super Bowl was last Sunday,
So let's talk about something that was two days ago Sunday. Obviously,
by time this comes on, it'll be three days ago.
But let's talk about something that happened last Sunday, the
(02:39):
NBA All Star Game. Now, I'm old enough Sea Dog
to remember when the All Star Game used to be
East and West. At one point in time, the East
had their own jerseys and the West had their own jerseys.
Then sometime in the two thousands, everybody just wore their jersey.
So whatever your home jersey was, you wore that. Whatever
(02:59):
your way jersey was, you wore that. So that was
pretty dope right there. And now we're in a new,
a new new phase because we've been having different variations
of the All Star Game.
Speaker 1 (03:14):
And my thing is I enjoy basketball no matter what.
Speaker 2 (03:23):
But when you do see scores that almost hit two hundred,
like you if you betting the over and under on
the All Star Game and the line is set.
Speaker 1 (03:31):
It like, you know, one ninety five and a half.
Speaker 2 (03:35):
That's like, okay, that's a lot of points to be
putting up on the board. So see, Dot, did you
get a chance to watch anything from All Star weekend?
Speaker 4 (03:44):
Honestly, because I've been like working, I've been kind of
I was listening to a little bit, but I don't
really have to watch it.
Speaker 1 (03:50):
For okay, okay, all right.
Speaker 2 (03:53):
Well, the good thing about the All Star Game was
it did provide a little bit of interest, But at
the same time, I'm not really feeling it.
Speaker 1 (04:05):
Because back in the day.
Speaker 2 (04:10):
If you was an All Star and you're playing in
an All Star game, you had the opportunity to go
for fifty, go for sixty in an All Star game,
really ball out.
Speaker 1 (04:21):
You can't do that.
Speaker 2 (04:22):
Well, I don't know if they're gonna do it in
the future, but you couldn't do that this year because
they basically had tournament games that played up the forty right,
So unless you're gonna score all forty points, which you know,
you're not gonna happen. All of those All Star records
that used to be had most points in the game
mostly like.
Speaker 1 (04:40):
You can't. You can't do that no more.
Speaker 2 (04:42):
So the record book is gonna change and you can't
break the records anymore. At least this year you couldn't
break the records, which kind of sucks.
Speaker 1 (04:50):
Ass.
Speaker 2 (04:52):
Another thing about the All Star Game that was kind
of sus not sus, but you know, just it was off.
When you have the rise Stars, you know, the basically
the winner of the Rookie sophomore game. You got them
in the proceedings on All Star Weekend playing on Sunday.
It just kind of rubbed me the wrong way. For real,
(05:12):
for real, I watched it.
Speaker 1 (05:14):
You know.
Speaker 2 (05:14):
It was entertaining, like I said, just to see how
it flowed and how it went. But really wasn't much
of my thing. But you said you didn't watch it,
but you heard it. But I know that you consume
sports media around the All Star Game. What was your
thoughts about the All Star Game, like in general, the
Four Metal whatever you know, leading up to the All
(05:37):
Star Game.
Speaker 4 (05:39):
I mean, it was pretty interesting. I mean, honestly, that
was a good question asked. I really don't know because
I was like listening to the dist pieces of it,
like I said.
Speaker 3 (05:49):
Because I was at work.
Speaker 4 (05:50):
So I mean, I know a lot of rookies showed up,
I mean, like Dalton's or Dalen Wells. And he played
pretty good on the Kanas Stars, even he only had
like two rebounds.
Speaker 2 (06:04):
But I'm surprised Bronni didn't participate in the Rising Stars
type situation, like you got an opportunity to be a
part of All Star Weekend and you don't do it.
I thought that was kind of off because I thought, like, okay,
that might have been I know that lebron and Bronnie
was like they not about to compete and the skills
challenge and all of that, which, again I just want
(06:29):
to get off topic for like a brief second. The
way that the Lakers moved since picking up Bronnie has
been real weird though type stuff. Like I remember they
played in the Garden not too long ago. The Lakers
was obviously winning, and then they put Bronni in the
game and Bronni was getting MVP chance. It was like
they was cheering for Bronnie to score, like it was
just like I feel like the Lakers used Bronni as
(06:51):
a show for real, real, like they don't put him
in the game when it's time to get it popping
and nothing like that.
Speaker 1 (06:56):
He normally gets garbage time. Now.
Speaker 2 (06:58):
One time he did get in the game and it
was popping time, but that was because I think it
was around the time Dalton connect had got traded, so
it was like they had like an extra situation going on,
so Bronnie had to play. I think he was playing
against the Sixers and he was getting cooked by everybody
and was like see Bronni's not really ready. He can
average twenty in the G League, but he can't do
shit in the NBA. Not the point I'm trying to make, though,
(07:20):
but I'm just saying I just thought it was weird
that Bronni didn't participate in what he could have participated
in in the All Star weekend.
Speaker 4 (07:30):
I mean, I forgot I forgot which game it was.
I mean, I think it was the Dallas game or whatever.
I might've been somebody else. I know he got in
and he started cooking a little bit, and then it
kind of just like slowed down.
Speaker 2 (07:46):
Yeah, and again we can have another Brownie conversation a
little bit later. But the All Star Game in general, though,
like people say that the All Star Game, there was
no entertainment, I mean not entertainment, was no defense.
Speaker 1 (08:01):
It was boring.
Speaker 2 (08:02):
I mean it was just people doing layup lines, threes,
dunks and all of that. No competition, no sense of urgency.
So you know, they I don't know if they did
this intentionally, because I know that they was picking teams,
like I know they was doing a draft of people
when they was picking the teams, but it just somehow
showed up that Shaq had the Ogs, you know, the
(08:24):
Lebron I mean technically of Lebron would have played, but
the Brons, the Kd's, the Steps. Chuck had the foreigner,
so he had you know, sga wenby Donovan Mitchell for
some reason, was on that situation. I don't know why,
but I guess he might got some foreign in them.
Speaker 1 (08:41):
Whatever. Okay, cool Kenny had.
Speaker 2 (08:45):
The young, the young the young guns, like the young
players or whatever you know, I mean, not the Rising
Stars young players, but like the Kate Cunningham's and all
of those young All Stars. And then Kennis Parker had
basically the winner of the Rising Stars, which I think
she ended up having the soft more team as you
know people or whatever in the tournament. And when the
Ogs had to play against the Rising Stars, I mean,
(09:08):
that looked like it was some competition because nobody wants
to lose to rookies or sophomore players.
Speaker 1 (09:14):
Nobody wants to lose to those people.
Speaker 2 (09:16):
But all in all, for real, for real, I'm not
gonna lie to you, bro, Like I come from an
ever where the All Star Game is the best players
in the league East versus West, and y'all get at
it and y'all go after it for you know, the
right to be the dominant conference, and the simple fact
(09:36):
that there's so many gimmicks, see dogs, there's so many gimmicks.
Speaker 1 (09:40):
You know.
Speaker 2 (09:41):
The past couple of years, they did a draft where
the highest you know, voted player on each side East
West gets to draft teams like pick up ball. I
mean that was kind of cool too, but you kind
of lose the East West thing. It's like Team Lebron
Team Jannis, and it's like, I ain't trying to me
Team Lebron like East West cool team U team Nah.
(10:04):
I ain't trying to play those type of games. But yeah, man,
I just I just don't really feel or understand why
that today's players just can't hoop in an All Star game,
make that thing cook and make that thing right.
Speaker 1 (10:21):
Man.
Speaker 2 (10:21):
I just don't really get it, to be honest with you, Yeah,
not g ahad we're saying.
Speaker 3 (10:33):
I agree.
Speaker 4 (10:36):
I mean, just like what kind of like threw me
off is like the Lakers trade or swap that kind
of like I mean, I know that's off topic, but tight.
Speaker 3 (10:45):
A D for Damn.
Speaker 1 (10:49):
Oh, yeah, a D for Luca. Know what I'm saying?
The Lakers Dallas trade.
Speaker 3 (10:53):
Yeah, I was like, I was like, why would you
stoop that load?
Speaker 4 (10:56):
You know, I mean, Luca's pretty good, don't get me wrong,
but I mean Ad and Lebron got chemistry, and that
chemistry works.
Speaker 2 (11:04):
Reports was coming out of Dallas is that they was
trying to get Luca to basically get more in shape
and be ready for basketball for real, for real and
whatever reason. He just wasn't all day type of time,
because you don't really trade a player that is like
that for real, for real, you don't really trade that whatsoever.
But you know, the Lakers always find a way to
(11:28):
get a disgrunted star to come to them. They always do,
you know, Kareem Shack, Dwight Howard to an extent, Kobe Bryant,
but not really disgruntle but just in a draft day trade,
you know, will you know, if we want to go
back in the day type ish, the Lakers always have
(11:50):
a star and that's the power play that they made
good batter indifferent, whatever we got to give up outside
of Lebron James, we're gonna, you know, make it happen.
And Ad got a ring out of the deal, so
I mean, yeah, you're not in La anymore. But guess what,
Dallas or the state of Texas doesn't have income taxes.
Speaker 1 (12:09):
You just so you just got way more money.
Speaker 2 (12:12):
Really like like people don't understand how bad California taxes is.
It's like, y'all think California is so great. Like Sea Dog.
I was looking on the map. There's a town. Let
me pull them on a map real quick. There's a
town going towards Las Vegas on that highway that's go
(12:33):
that goes from Vegas to Los Angeles. And the reason
I'm bringing this up real quick is because Los California
just has those state taxes. That's just like asin on.
It's like, it's just crazy as fuck how they'd have
(12:54):
these taxes. So there's a small town right called prem Nevada,
pr Imm Nevada. It is literally on the borderline of California,
and Nevada's right off of Interstate fifteen. There's casinos out there,
(13:15):
and there's a mall out there, but outside of that,
that's about it. There's nothing else out there. You're about
forty minutes away from Vegas, and then, like I said,
you're at the California state line. But La is about
two hours and thirty minutes away. The reason I'm bringing
all of that up is is that I would live
(13:38):
there if I wanted to be a part of California life.
Speaker 1 (13:41):
To be honest with you, like, I'm.
Speaker 2 (13:42):
Not pandled those taxes that people pay in California.
Speaker 1 (13:47):
The Sun's not worth it, bro.
Speaker 2 (13:49):
I love sunny weather, I hate the cold, but you're
not about to take all that money from you, bro,
just to live just to live in California.
Speaker 4 (13:57):
Yeah, I mean that too, clicks or whatever they got
going on other I want to be in the middle
of that crap.
Speaker 2 (14:05):
Fucking the fires, yeah right, like your whole neighborhood can
just go up and smoke just for the hell of it.
Speaker 1 (14:12):
I'm cool on all of that shit.
Speaker 2 (14:14):
But getting back on the All Star festivities real quick,
I wanted I didn't now the thing that I didn't
watch was because I was out and about. I didn't
watch the three point contest, the dunk contests and all
of that. People are getting tired of the dunk contest.
And I'm not trying to be on no other type
of stuff or whatever. But because Matt Matt McClung is
(14:37):
from Virginia, somewhere in Virginia, I mean, not.
Speaker 1 (14:39):
A part of Virginia.
Speaker 2 (14:40):
I frequent, but a person from Virginia nonetheless, So you
know you're not going to talk bad about the guy.
He won his third dunk contest in a row. Bro,
Like he did the You remember the Blake Griffin jump
over the Kia But everybody was like, bro, why did
you jump over the hood of the Kia? Why don't
(15:01):
you jump over the highest part of the kiat.
Speaker 1 (15:04):
Matt McClung did that.
Speaker 2 (15:05):
He jumped over the highest part of the Kia and
dunked that thing.
Speaker 4 (15:10):
So I remember seeing a meme of like you know,
talking about because you're talking about Patrick Mahomes talk abow
he couldn't three.
Speaker 3 (15:15):
Paint but he did.
Speaker 2 (15:18):
Oh yeah, man, No Patrick, I mean no, Patrick, no
hat trick Mahomes. You know what I'm saying, Patrick, no
hat trick Mahomes ain't happening. Somebody else got a three peep,
not him. But I guess for real, Fred to keep
it a buck. I think All Star Weekend is better
(15:38):
if you're there, Like, if you could participate in the parties,
participate in the media events. That's really what All Star
is about. Because I guess the games and stuff like that.
People is just not really. I guess it's not visually appeal.
I know, with the All Star Game, they kept having
breaks where Kevin Hart kind of did a little comedy show,
joking with Chuck, joking with everybody, little little gimmicky little
(16:01):
games and stuff like that in between, And I don't know,
I just think that the All Star Game is becoming
not to be a good TV product, and I think
within maybe a year or two, they may get rid
of the All Star Game like they got rid of
the Pro Bowl, because not a Pro Bowl is two
hand I'm not two hand touches flag football, and it
(16:23):
just looks weird as hell, you know what I'm saying.
It's like, y'all are NFL Pro bowlers. This is not
the game that y'all are Pro bowlers in. You know
what I'm saying, Like, y'all are not Pro bowlers in
flag football. So that's just my that's just my thing
with that.
Speaker 1 (16:40):
Real quick. So this is an SS experience.
Speaker 2 (16:42):
We normally have a lot of stuff going on, you know,
ads and stuff that we about to you know what
I'm saying, run you to death real quick. So I
watch women's basketball. I love women's basketball, and there's a
new basketball league where a lot of politics is politicking.
We're gonna talk about it. To six experience. We'll be
back sasas experience. Don't forget to rate review, subscribe. Follow
(17:06):
the show at the SS Experience No eive's beginning Experience.
Speaker 1 (17:09):
Follow me at Henny Hardaway seven to five, See dog.
Speaker 2 (17:14):
I watched this basketball league called Unrivaled. It's a basketball
league by Brianna Stewart and the FISA Collier.
Speaker 1 (17:23):
Are you hip to this league?
Speaker 3 (17:25):
Not to that league? I didn't really watch that.
Speaker 4 (17:27):
I was paying attention to the like the two Texas
and Carolina game, in the Uton's game.
Speaker 3 (17:32):
I didn't really watch that one.
Speaker 1 (17:34):
Okay over the weekend.
Speaker 2 (17:35):
Yeah, it's a basketball league called Unrivaled. It's three on
three full court basketball. So you know how you got
the Big three and it's three on three, but it's
half court. They do three on three full court. It's
a lot of cardio, it's a lot of running around.
It's a lot of space for you to have. Now
I've told you that the FISA Collier and Brianna Stewart
(17:57):
are they're they're the founders of this league. They put
up their together, they got investors, They created the league
to give women the opportunity to play professional basketball without
going overseas to deal with that fucking Russia Britney grinder
type shit. That's pretty cool. Here's the politics. So they
(18:18):
had a one, they had a one. They have a
one on one tournament in the middle of their season.
The winner gets two hundred I think two hundred and
fifty thousand or two hundred thousand. Let's just say two
hundred thousand, just for the sake of this conversation. I
forget how they do the seeds. I don't know if
it was fan voting for the seeds or whatever, but
Brianna Stewart and the Feasti Collier were both well both
(18:43):
number one seeds. They're both number one seeds. So the
politics is, well, how are y'all number one seeds? Not
how are y'all number one seeds? Because they're good players,
But the bosses are number one seed seed all. That's
what we're doing. The bosses are number one seeds.
Speaker 1 (19:03):
Okay, cool, But I'm not.
Speaker 2 (19:05):
Gonna say there's too much politics in it. Because Brianna
Stewart lost to an eighth seed. She lost to uh
Alijah Edwards twelve nothing, like, she didn't score a bucket
against her, and she's like a rookie. Well she's a
first year player now, but you know, a rookie nonetheless,
and she beat Brianna Stewart twelve nothing. So I'm like, Okay, well,
(19:28):
I guess there's no politics in. I mean the Brianna
store didn't score a bucket, she didn't get a call nothing. Okay,
maybe it's not oh noah no feast a Collier do.
On the other hand, oh man.
Speaker 1 (19:40):
I'm not gonna say the fix is in.
Speaker 2 (19:42):
But she has a move that's kind of like predictable
a little bit, and it's like, yo, y'all don't know,
like she's gonna put She's gonna use your body against you.
She's gonna push off of your body into her fade
away and cash out on some Jordan fadaway type stuff,
like it happens all the time. She may pivot left,
she may pivot right, but eventually she's gonna put her
(20:03):
body into you, bounce back, fade away gold.
Speaker 1 (20:07):
You know what I'm saying. Gucci Gucci type stuff. You
know what I'm saying.
Speaker 2 (20:12):
So let me just let me just not make a
long story so long she won the two hundred thousand dollars.
The boss, the person who invested her money, won the
two hundred thousand, So that's kind of like, that's kind
of interesting a little bit. You mean, like she beat
the eighth seed, the same eighth seed that beat Breonna
Stewart was the same person who the Feasta Calia played,
(20:37):
which was Alijah Edwards Aliyah Edwards, who plays for my
Washington Mystics. She was hooping. She beat three number one seeds.
He also beat Arica Umbowale because she was a number one.
Oh no, no oh was it a juwel Lloyd?
Speaker 1 (20:50):
Damn?
Speaker 2 (20:51):
I forget One of those two was one seeds and
she beat them. So she beat three one seeds to
get to the championship and lost in the FISA Collier,
which had a lot of people thinking like, bro, how
did the boss win the two hundred thousand? Cause it's like,
is that money gonna go in her pocket? Because again,
you gotta remember she put up money for the league,
(21:14):
you know what I'm saying, So it's like, did you
just get your investment back? So it was just kind
of like a weird type situation. But you said you
didn't watch unrival. But you should check it out.
Speaker 1 (21:22):
Man. It's on TNT.
Speaker 2 (21:23):
It's on regular TV Mondays, Fridays, and Saturdays. I believe
they normally play around like six thirty seven o'clock che
get out sometime.
Speaker 1 (21:33):
I really thought you would have been up on that.
But yeah, I'll look into it.
Speaker 4 (21:36):
But I mean I was just like looking at the roster,
but I see if they ain't got my girl on there,
they got her teammate, but they ain't got her in
there this year. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (21:43):
Man, it's a good it's a good league.
Speaker 2 (21:45):
I like.
Speaker 4 (21:46):
I like the I say, they got like Angel Reese
and I was like Ameron Brinks, but I was like,
where it's Kitlyn Park.
Speaker 3 (21:54):
She was a number one pick.
Speaker 1 (21:57):
But I get it, So go ahead, So go ahead.
Speaker 2 (22:00):
Tell me about the basketball game that you was that
you was partaking in real quick.
Speaker 3 (22:04):
I was watching the Yukon versus South Carolina.
Speaker 2 (22:07):
Right, well, I did. I for some reason, it just
slipped me. So what happened with that?
Speaker 4 (22:13):
It was like Yukon came out hot. I mean I
think they left them like the whole time.
Speaker 2 (22:18):
Uh.
Speaker 3 (22:20):
I think when they lost.
Speaker 4 (22:21):
To Tennessee the week before US before you know, they
kind of stepped up their game. I mean their defense
was spectacular. Especially I can't pronounce your name.
Speaker 1 (22:41):
Was the result of the game though, because like I said,
I didn't get you.
Speaker 3 (22:42):
I was like, it was like seventy something to forty.
Speaker 1 (22:46):
Now, I mean who won Yukon? Damn? So so hold on? Yeah,
so this South Carolina lose yourself? Oh no, this on
this first loss or.
Speaker 4 (22:57):
Well, I mean they were on a seventy one game
hot streak, undefeated street in their stadium or whatever.
Speaker 1 (23:07):
No, but what I'm saying is that because I know.
Speaker 2 (23:11):
They beat Okay, now LSU, I mean LSU, they beat
LSU two, but they beat us.
Speaker 1 (23:17):
Okay, they beat USC. I remember they beat USC.
Speaker 3 (23:21):
My bad it was eighty seven to fifty eight.
Speaker 2 (23:23):
Uh No, I think I think Carolina did lose a
game earlier this year to angle Cap, so they're not undefeated.
They wasn't undefeated then, I mean yukon't winning and stuff
like that.
Speaker 1 (23:35):
But what did you think about the game overall? Though?
Before our transition?
Speaker 4 (23:39):
I mean it was I mean it was back and forth, honestly,
like towards the last quarter. But I mean it was
like Yukon came out with a statement and they came
out fast.
Speaker 1 (23:50):
No ahead, my bad, bro.
Speaker 3 (23:51):
You I mean they came out fast. Becker, she was
on point.
Speaker 4 (23:56):
I don't think she had like probably she was on
point of times and I think she probably like five turnovers.
Speaker 3 (24:02):
But I try to thank you. The other fresh one
was that she came out high. I think she's a
risky or whatever, but.
Speaker 4 (24:08):
I mean she came out and was with draining breeze.
Speaker 1 (24:13):
Okay, okay, okay, okay.
Speaker 2 (24:15):
Well I need to get a little bit more into
the women's college basketball.
Speaker 1 (24:21):
I just don't really ain't. Look, I ain't gonna catch you, bro.
Speaker 3 (24:24):
That's what was.
Speaker 2 (24:25):
Yeah. So the past few weeks, I just been locked
in on I just been locked in on super Bowl
mode for real, for real, man, I was just locked
in on that, and I told you guys what I
was on and all of that stuff. So I haven't
paid attention to pretty much anything else. Like as we
(24:46):
speak right now, I'm checking on a couple of parlays
that I got set.
Speaker 1 (24:51):
Up right now.
Speaker 2 (24:52):
I got Villanova Villanova's up thirty four to twenty six
at half, but I got Villanova plus eight point half
on the spread. So no matter what happens, as long
as Villanova doesn't lose by nine points, I'm good And
right now they're up by a lot, so that's pretty
cool right there. Uh, let me see what else I
(25:13):
got going on real quick, Davidson. I think I have
Davidson on the money line if I'm not mistaken, and
they are currently losing right now by four, so we
can pick that up real quick.
Speaker 1 (25:30):
That's neither here nor there.
Speaker 2 (25:33):
Oh, Northern Illinois at Akron Okay, so oh shit, that's
why she was talking about that hold on.
Speaker 1 (25:41):
Acron basketball. Okay, yeah, yeah, yeah, okay.
Speaker 2 (25:48):
So I have Northern Illinois plus twenty and a half.
I'm like, damn, that's a lot of fucking points in
that league.
Speaker 1 (25:57):
In the MAC.
Speaker 2 (25:59):
Can be that fucking I mean, you could be that bad.
So if you add the twenty and a half to
the ten twenty two deficit that they're in, I'm winning
on my bet. So let's you know, hope that you know,
Northern Illinois can somewhat keep it closed. So so far
my ticket is looking pretty good. Xavia doesn't play until
(26:21):
a little bit later tonight, so that'll be a situation
right there. So there's like the chips fall the way
that they fall man. So there's just me being a
gambling degenerate real quick. But yeah, I haven't been paying
attention to the women's college basketball. I need to get
up on that so I can make some money and
do some things in March madness. So the last thing
that I wanted to bring up with you, see, dog,
(26:43):
when it comes to this whole.
Speaker 1 (26:46):
Basketball thing.
Speaker 2 (26:47):
Let me go back in my notes real quick to
see exactly where we were going with this real quick,
and Dan, where do I hit you up on that joint? Oh?
Speaker 1 (26:55):
I'm in a wrong account. Okay, let's go here real quick. Okay,
there we go. What did I say we was gonna
talk about?
Speaker 3 (27:03):
Oh?
Speaker 2 (27:04):
Okay, I guess my Super Bowl victory talk wasn't the proceeding.
Speaker 1 (27:08):
So see doog?
Speaker 3 (27:10):
What's up?
Speaker 1 (27:11):
My Philadelphia Eagles? Is the ship?
Speaker 2 (27:13):
Be? I tried to I tried to be humble and
let you cats know man, but y'all didn't people. People
didn't want to believe me. And it's okay, you know
what I'm saying. I get it. You know it's Patrick Mahomes,
It's fucking Taylor Swift. Y'all want the three P and
all of that ship. You know what I mean, it's good.
And I said this too, and I don't know if
you remember this, but I said this before the season.
(27:35):
I wanted to see the Kansas City Chiefs through the
three p I'm like, okay, that'd be dope. And know
I'm saying for the for the game or whatever, long
as it's not against the Eagles and we're there, then
I'm not down for it.
Speaker 1 (27:44):
And he was there.
Speaker 4 (27:46):
That rookie though, I'll give you a crack. That rookie
is one hell of a rookie and he will probably
be one of the best cornerbacks in his time in
the NFL.
Speaker 2 (27:56):
Oh yeah, man Cooper di g he he puts in,
he put I mean, I'm not gonna lie. I like
Quinn Yon Mitchell Moore than our other rookie because he
plays on the outside and people don't target him like
imagine that, Like he's a rookie and people don't target
(28:17):
him like that, like at all.
Speaker 1 (28:19):
Like he like I think he gave he I think
out of.
Speaker 2 (28:22):
The year, he gave up one touchdown and that was
in like the Washington playoff game. I mean throughout the
whole year, he didn't give up any touchdowns whatsoever. He
got even he got like two interceptions, but those was
all in the playoffs, so it was good. I mean,
I like Cooper de Gene too, because I like, I like,
(28:43):
I like what he does. You know what I'm saying.
I like, I like what he does. That Nickel corner
type situation.
Speaker 1 (28:51):
I love it.
Speaker 4 (28:52):
I mean, I give it the credits too, you know,
I mean it was all the dogs that were barking, man,
I mean, because what the whole defensive front.
Speaker 3 (28:59):
I mean, not all of them, but I mean most of.
Speaker 4 (29:02):
Them, Like Nola Smith was getting to Jordan Davis played
the hell of a game, and so the jayl.
Speaker 1 (29:07):
And Carter Yeah, man, yeah, no.
Speaker 2 (29:11):
I was just gonna say, we knew that that Georgia
lin was eventually gonna pay itself off.
Speaker 1 (29:18):
We just had to get the.
Speaker 2 (29:20):
Offense, like I'll let me give you, let me give
you all. Let me give you guys a timeline real quick.
So two years ago, in twenty twenty three, we go
to the Super Bowl. We lose to the Kansas City
Chiefs by three points. Okay, cool, it was we could
have won that game as well, but shit happens. So
we go into the next year. We start off ten
to one, we lose a game to the Jets. We've
(29:41):
never lost a game to the Jets, and it wasn't
like we lost to Aaron Rodgers Jets.
Speaker 1 (29:46):
It was still the Zach Wilson Jets.
Speaker 2 (29:48):
Zach Wilson was playing and we lost to that team,
So that was some bullshit. So then we lose six
or seven, including a playoff game to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
So shit looking all bad, it feels all bad. Then
we start off the year, we go two and two.
We lose a fucked up game to the Falcons, which
I knew, okay, Saquan catches that with Gucci, But then
(30:11):
we get boat raced by Tampa again in Tampa, so
it had demons. We're two and two, We're going into
the by fire, Nick Sirianni, this shit is bad. Then
we rip off twelve or eleven some straight games, lose
a game to Washington when Jalen Hurts got hurt. But
even when we lost that game, seed Dog, it was like,
(30:35):
damn Davonte dropped the ball, same way Saquan dropped the ball.
Speaker 1 (30:39):
He catches that.
Speaker 2 (30:40):
Nine out of ten times we we down, we get
out the game, but seed Dog, how many times can
a team put up thirty plus points, get five turnovers
and lose the game.
Speaker 1 (30:54):
That's that doesn't happen.
Speaker 2 (30:57):
So when we lost that game, I'm like, I'm not
even is for the greater good because what people didn't
realize was when Washington beat us, that eliminated Dallas from
the playoffs.
Speaker 1 (31:10):
So I'm like, okay, for the greater good. Cool, it
is what it is. I say.
Speaker 2 (31:15):
I said that a lot throughout the season for the
greater good. Then after that, we kept putting in we
kept doing the work. Washington really did put in work
for us. And I want to put this on the
record when it comes to us doing our championship, you know,
not ceremony, but opening game on Thursday that the champions
normally do. I vote for the Washington Commanders to play
(31:36):
in that game. They deserve it. Not only did they
have a good season. Jayden Daniels is a dog.
Speaker 1 (31:41):
He's cool.
Speaker 2 (31:43):
Like I said, we thank Washington for their service. Yeah,
they beat us and cost us to play an extra
playoff game, but Dallas got eliminated.
Speaker 1 (31:52):
So when Dallas get eliminated, we cool with that.
Speaker 4 (31:54):
I mean, everybody always knows Dallas is gonna get eliminate
because Dallas. Dallas is irrelevant and they're not gonna make
it back.
Speaker 1 (32:01):
Yeah, but we still like to beat him anyway. It's
all good. Their fans are annoying as fuck, you know
what I'm saying.
Speaker 2 (32:05):
They always think it's their year and ships, so we
gotta let them know, No, it's not your year. You
haven't you wasn't even alive. Some of you wasn't even alive,
so we don't even care.
Speaker 4 (32:14):
I mean, I also kind of heard I mean, I
don't know if a speculated rumor or not, which I
know everybody which I ain't been on here in a
while and talk about it, but that stupid Carson Beck rumor,
you know, you know where he just basically sold out Georgia.
He was a damn good player. But I mean, you
get hurt in the SEC Championship against Texas, sit out,
gonna go pro, and then find out your draft stocks
(32:36):
are gonna be craped just because your girlfriend is that Miami.
Like I said, no, this one, you up in transfer
and you get paid more than Cam Wore got paid.
Speaker 3 (32:46):
That's what I mean.
Speaker 1 (32:47):
It's a thing. It's a thing.
Speaker 2 (32:48):
But let me let me we'll get back to that
let me let me, let me, let me cook. We
can get back to that though. So Washington goes to
Detroit in the playoff game. After I forget, I forget,
I forget who Washington played in the first round. But
the next game that they end up playing, they end
up playing Detroit, number one seed.
Speaker 1 (33:11):
They beat Detroit.
Speaker 2 (33:12):
So as Eagles fans, we like, uh oh, if we
do what we're supposed to do, we get to host.
We get to host the NFC championship game. Thank you, Washington,
We appreciate your service. Now Washington comes to town and
we had to do Washington dirty, but up a fifty
five piece on them. We had to do them dirty.
(33:32):
We thank you Washington for your service. But y'all gotta go.
It was good energy, man. I bought my son. I
bought my son a Jalen Hurt Super Bowl jersey before
the game, before the Super Bowl, so he wore was jersey.
I would be having my new authentic Philadelphia Eagles jersey.
So we're gonna be cooking. But we don't have too
(33:55):
much time left, you know what I mean. But I
know the last time the Eagles when the Chiefs was
in the foot bawl you was on Team Chiefs.
Speaker 1 (34:02):
Payback some motherfucker, you know what I'm saying.
Speaker 4 (34:04):
I mean, I've always on team Chiefs, man. You know,
I'm not all that Taylor Swift. Like everybody's always like,
oh Chiefs are only you know, there's a hype because
of Taylor Swift. Honestly, Taylor hype before Taylor Swift came
in the fucking picture, and they're gonna be hype.
Speaker 3 (34:19):
If Taylor Swift leaves the picture.
Speaker 2 (34:22):
Oh well, you know she's gonna leave the picture because
Travis Kelsey might retire. He's thinking about he's plotting on
it him know yet Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Speaker 4 (34:28):
He's plotting on it. I mean, that'll be a tough loss, honestly.
I mean because he's damn probably one of the best
tight ends in the NFL. I mean, I don't want
to say of all the times, but I mean he's
up there. I mean, that's Patrick Mahomes go to. It's
gonna be kind of hard to replace. I mean, unless
Black Powers decides to go over.
Speaker 3 (34:46):
In the city. Yeah, but it never happens.
Speaker 2 (34:50):
But all in all, though, you know, I feel like
Nick Sirianni the fire Nick sy rihann talk was ohc
the man has been to the playoffs every year, won
the division twice, been to the super Bowl twice. I mean, like,
let's just say before he won the super Bowl. Like,
(35:11):
let's just say before he won a super Bowl if
he didn't he went to the playoffs every year that
he's coached, he won a division twice, He at least
been to the super Bowl once, and fucking his win
percentage is super duper high. He has a better win
percentage than Andy Reid in his first four seasons in Philadelphia.
(35:34):
It's he just know what he's doing. Like, you may
not like him as an X and OS person, you
may not like him as an individual, you might just
think he's a douchebag or whatever, But at the end
of the day, it's about wins, it's about losses, and
it's about championships. And he at least delivered a couple
of division titles, a couple of conference titles, and he's
(35:56):
now delivered a super Bowl appearance. I've always said, before
we go because the things about to cut off, let
Nick Sirianni have a bad year. Then we can have
the talks about fire Sirianni. But at least let's just
let this train keep on rolling. See doll, this thing
is about to cut out, man. So we're gonna do
this again like we always do it.
Speaker 1 (36:18):
Man.
Speaker 2 (36:19):
And yeah, man, sports, we're gonna have you on the
coach Mo Show because coach. We gave coach a show
and shit, so we're gonna get you on the coach
Mo Show. Man.
Speaker 1 (36:28):
Get your basketball stuff.
Speaker 2 (36:29):
I mean, you always talking about Carolina and I'm not Caroy,
South Carolina and Yukon. So keep that women's basketball talk
up because coach loves talking about that all.
Speaker 1 (36:39):
I had no doubt.
Speaker 3 (36:39):
Man.
Speaker 1 (36:40):
What's the SS experience?
Speaker 2 (36:41):
Man, We'll holl at you easy, talk to you lettercy
dog easy.
Speaker 1 (36:45):
You're listening to the S S experience on S and
G
