Steve (00:00):
Hey, steve, here and today I thought I would talk to
you a little bit about theGuitar Zoom Academy and what it
is and who it's for.
So, basically, if you're aguitar player who's been playing
, you know for however long, andyou feel like you're stuck, you
feel like you're not reallymaking the progress that you'd
like to be making, maybe youfeel lost, you're confused on
what it is that you should beactually working on, and you

(00:23):
know you've got questions aboutthings and you don't know you
really have no one to reach outto to actually get the answers.
Well, that's what the GuitarZoom Academy really is for.
You know, we at Guitar Zoomhave been selling guitar courses
for many years and we've heardfrom people over the years that,
although they like the courses, the problem is is that when
they can encounter a situationyou know, maybe watching one of

(00:43):
the courses where they have, youknow, confusion or questions
about things, of course theydon't really have anybody to
reach out to.
That we have within the academyitself, be it classes that you

(01:08):
can attend, live classes withreal instructors where you could
learn things regardingfundamentals, chords, rhythm,
soloing, blues, technique, allsorts of different things, but
at the heart of it is the factthat, while you're doing all of
these things, you can alwaysreach out and talk to somebody
in person.
We have a number of what wecall open rooms, which are live

(01:32):
hours that instructors areavailable to talk to you about
anything and everything thatyou've got questions about.
So you might have a particularquestion about this technique or
how you're approaching this, orhow to visualize this or how to
use this or what this actuallyis, and you might not even know
what your question is.
You might just be saying, hey,I'm going through this thing but

(01:52):
I'm not sure what I'm doingwrong, or I feel like I'm not
really making progress with this.
Well, you can jump in and youcan actually have a conversation
with somebody and figure thatout and then get back to your
work.
Somebody and figure that outand then get back to your work.
So you don't have to wait untilnext week's guitar lesson, so
to speak, to get the answersthat you need.
You can get them that day.
You can just simply meet withsomebody, get your questions

(02:14):
answered or get you know back ontrack and go back and do your
work.
What I also love about it is thefact that, because we have a
number of different instructors.
You always have the option ofdifferent perspectives on things
.
It's not just one person thatyou see, you know week after
week or something like that, butyou can talk to different
people about different things.
Maybe you talk to thisinstructor because you feel like

(02:36):
you make a better connectionwith that person.
Or maybe you talk to thisinstructor because you've
recognized that that person is alittle more blues influenced
and that's what you're lookingfor.
Or maybe you just talk tosomebody because it's a Thursday
, right, and that's when youhave time.
And the final part of this isthat there's a private community
for only the people that areinvolved in the academy, because

(02:58):
it's always nice to staymotivated.
That's half.
The battle, too, is not justunderstanding what the work is,
what you need to do to achieveyour goals, which we assess all
of that and set up a plan foryou.
But it's also nice to staymotivated and talk to
like-minded people that arelearning as well.
Stay motivated and talk tolike-minded people that are
learning as well.
And so, within the community, people ask questions and get
answers from instructors, butthey also get answers from other

(03:20):
students that are in there aswell.
They post their progress, youknow, any new gear that they've
got, whatever those things are.
We just have conversations, realconversations.
You know you can always reachout to us.
There's a chat, a personal chat, a private chat in here that
you can reach out to me.
You can reach out one of theinstructors and say hey, this is

(03:40):
what I'm working with, this iswhat I'm having an issue with.
Can you help me?
Well, of course we can.
That's exactly what this is,when I can.
It's immediate responses andpersonal, one-on-one connection

(04:01):
that you can reach out toanytime you need and have an
actual conversation with anactual instructor.
And we do this in the mornings.
We do this in the evenings.
We always have people available.
But even in between those spots, you can always message someone
like me and I'll respond to youright away and get you back,
get you organized and get yougoing again.
So it's a really, really greatthing.
I call it a guitar learningecosystem is really what it is,

(04:23):
and people are just loving itbecause they can put their head
down and they can practice whenthey need to.
But when they have a question orthey need to have a discussion,
they can just pop in any day ofthe week and have this
conversation with people andthen get back to work again.
And if you feel like you'rekind of falling off and you're
not exactly sure what topractice, well, we can get
together and do a reassessmentof what have you been doing

(04:43):
right.
We have practice logs that wekeep track of your practice and
see, well, what have you beenworking on, what haven't you
been working on, what are youstruggling with we can get you
right back on track and get yougoing again.
So if that sounds likesomething that would be
interesting to you, somethingthat you would need you know,
maybe you're overwhelmed withtoo much information or you
don't have any goals.
You don't know what you'reworking toward or you don't know

(05:04):
what the problem is this is aperfect opportunity for you to
check out the Guitar ZoomAcademy.
