We are blessed to be sharing today's conversation with Ninfa West with you! Ninfa starts by giving us some background and context for who she is. A unique part of Ninfa is that she is a Sephardic Jew (who knows Jesus as her Savior 🙂) and can trace her lineage all the way back to the tribe of Levi as a descendant of Aaron. That's pretty amazing! Ninfa was raised by a single mother and reflects on how that shaped her into the woman she is now. As a child she always felt a desire to help people and seek justice. Ninfa shares some experiences from her childhood and adult life that led her to pursuing a career in helping people get justice. You will be inspired as Ninfa talks through how she uses her gifts for the Lord. A big part of what Ninfa's story centers on is the death of her son in a trucking accident in December 2016. The devastation was unbelievable as her son had a young wife and children. Unfortunately, his death led to a lawsuit with the life insurance company, but the Lord strengthened Ninfa in an incredible way to use her gifts to help fight this four-year battle. What we so appreciate is her willingness to share this story to bring God glory and provide hope for those going through difficultly and devastation. The conversation ends with Ninfa sharing her life verse, Proverbs 31:8-9. You will be inspired and encouraged by her strength, hope and desire for justice in the midst of challenges.Â

Ruthie's Table 4
For more than 30 years The River Cafe in London, has been the home-from-home of artists, architects, designers, actors, collectors, writers, activists, and politicians. Michael Caine, Glenn Close, JJ Abrams, Steve McQueen, Victoria and David Beckham, and Lily Allen, are just some of the people who love to call The River Cafe home. On River Cafe Table 4, Rogers sits down with her customers—who have become friends—to talk about food memories. Table 4 explores how food impacts every aspect of our lives. “Foods is politics, food is cultural, food is how you express love, food is about your heritage, it defines who you and who you want to be,” says Rogers. Each week, Rogers invites her guest to reminisce about family suppers and first dates, what they cook, how they eat when performing, the restaurants they choose, and what food they seek when they need comfort. And to punctuate each episode of Table 4, guests such as Ralph Fiennes, Emily Blunt, and Alfonso Cuarón, read their favourite recipe from one of the best-selling River Cafe cookbooks. Table 4 itself, is situated near The River Cafe’s open kitchen, close to the bright pink wood-fired oven and next to the glossy yellow pass, where Ruthie oversees the restaurant. You are invited to take a seat at this intimate table and join the conversation.
