In episode 11, we are joined by our first in-studio guest, V. We discuss the topic of working remotely vs. commuting to an office for work, and how the mindset of companies and management needs to change to allow for better considerations in the cost savings of remote work. We recognize that not all jobs can be done remotely, but for those that can, why the hell not? In the second half of the episode, V tells us about a book he's discovered which covers an important concept surrounding employee empowerment as the cornerstone of company success, and how a culture of caring about the people can make a huge positive difference in overall success. Such culture drives loyalty and better products when companies care about the human being in employee roles.
