Tommy LaBriola is an on-site Human Performance Specialist at O2X Human Performance training tactical athletes. Prior to working with O2X Human Performance in late 2024, LaBriola spent five years as a Minor League strength and conditioning coach with the Toronto Blue Jays. Most recently, he served as the head AAA strength coach and previously worked with the High-A team in Vancouver, British Columbia from 2019-2023. Prior to his time in professional baseball, LaBriola completed a graduate assistantship at Salisbury University from 2017-2019. He got his start coaching in the private sector at Parisi Speed School in 2016 and soon after interned as a sports performance coach at his alma mater, Salisbury University in 2017 before being promoted to a graduate assistant position. In addition, he has also held internship positions at the University of Pittsburgh in 2017 as well as Georgetown University in 2019.
A former four-year catcher at Salisbury University, LaBriola made the weight room a staple of his training throughout the season. As a member of the Seagull baseball team, LaBriola was the Conference Player of the Year in 2016 with a .413 batting average, hitting 4 home runs and 55 RBIs. He was a three-time Capital Athletic Conference Champion in 2014, 2016 and 2017, made two NCAA Regionals in 2016, and 2017, as well as two NCAA Division III World Series in 2014 and 2015. He continues to train and is active himself, enjoying spending time outdoors, listening to music, and playing the drums when he is not in the weight room.
