Action Plan
Today’s action plan stems from something that Austin reveals towards the very end of the conversation - it is one of his three daily essentials. Austin strives to end each day knowing that anything he could have done today has not been left for tomorrow. Now, I’m not saying you need to turn this podcast off and get busy immediately - seriously, stick around because this is an incredible episode - but rather I just want you to be little more diligent with creating a daily to-do list that is achievable. I want you to be a smidge more protective of your time, a bit more committed to your priorities and give yourself permission to say “no” I can’t do that today, my scheduled is already full. If it feels good today, do a little bit more tomorrow, and the day after that. By the end of this week, I think you’ll back and say “Wow”, I can’t believe how much I accomplished.
That’s it for this week. Make sure you’re subscribed to this podcast so that you don’t miss next week’s episode with Astrid Naranjo. Astrid is a clinical dietician and nutritionist who joins us to talk about the four pillars of a wholistic health, common self-limiting mindsets that undermine fat loss goals, various ways to increasing caloric expenditure and the importance of asking yourself some very simple questions before you reach for your next snack.
Until then, we wish you STRENGTH and GOOD HEALTH.

Cardiac Cowboys
The heart was always off-limits to surgeons. Cutting into it spelled instant death for the patient. That is, until a ragtag group of doctors scattered across the Midwest and Texas decided to throw out the rule book. Working in makeshift laboratories and home garages, using medical devices made from scavenged machine parts and beer tubes, these men and women invented the field of open heart surgery. Odds are, someone you know is alive because of them. So why has history left them behind? Presented by Chris Pine, CARDIAC COWBOYS tells the gripping true story behind the birth of heart surgery, and the young, Greatest Generation doctors who made it happen. For years, they competed and feuded, racing to be the first, the best, and the most prolific. Some appeared on the cover of Time Magazine, operated on kings and advised presidents. Others ended up disgraced, penniless, and convicted of felonies. Together, they ignited a revolution in medicine, and changed the world.
