If you are trying to figure out ways to capture content for social media, tune in to today’s episode. I’m sharing valuable tips on capturing MORE content for your brand or business.
Make sure that when you are recording content, that you have an up-to-date smartphone with sufficient storage capacity. You want to make sure that you have enough storage on your phone when you go to record. The last thing you want is to have a great opportunity for a video and then you can’t record because you are out of storage. Make sure that you are deleting photos and videos that are unnecessary or regularly transferring special photos or videos to an external hard drive like this one. You can even get one that connects directly to your phone. Clear out app caches and delete downloaded email files to optimize storage on your phone too!
I want you to also invest in a mini tripod like this one. You want one that can be easily folded up and that you can even carry in your purse. Tripods help stabilize footage and you want to make sure that your videos are clear, stable, and professional, not shaky.
Another thing to thing I want to encourage you to do is to overcome your fear of recording content in public. Sometimes this can hold content creators back and I really want you to work on pushing past this fear. You can start in less crowded places, such as a quiet coffee shop or even a hotel lobby to build your confidence or you can find a “content bestie” to shoot with!
Another tip I have is to record small clips throughout the day to really capture those authentic moments in your day. These clips can then be used as b-roll footage to make content more engaging on social media. You can set alarms on your phone throughout the day to record 10 seconds of what you are doing in that moment to be used later.
If you have ever wondered how to get even more content in order to post on social media, this episode is for you!
