Did you know there are actually perks to being a Type 1 Diabetic?! That's right! And today's episode is all about one of the most awesome ones, passes at major theme parks that allow you skip the long lines! Say whaaa??? While most major theme parks have a disability service or pass, today's episode specifically covers the Disney Disability Access Service (DAS) Pass as well as the Legoland HERO pass.

Disney's DAS Pass "assists Guests who have difficulty tolerating extended waits in a conventional queue environment due to disability." (Taken from the Disney's website).

The Legoland HERO Pass is also for those who may have difficulty waiting in line.

The guest on today's episode is Robbie, a fellow T1D mom with a passion for helping other Type 1 families. Check out her awesome and education T1D Instagram profile HERE... @t1dlearnwithme. She recently went to Disney World in Orlando, FL with her family, including her 3 year old daughter who has Type 1 diabetes. She is going to tell us all about the Disney DAS pass while I speak about the Legoland HERO pass. My family recently made a trip to Legoland and was able to take advantage of the HERO pass. It was great! Enjoy!

Are You A Charlotte?

Are You A Charlotte?

In 1997, actress Kristin Davis’ life was forever changed when she took on the role of Charlotte York in Sex and the City. As we watched Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte navigate relationships in NYC, the show helped push once unacceptable conversation topics out of the shadows and altered the narrative around women and sex. We all saw ourselves in them as they searched for fulfillment in life, sex and friendships. Now, Kristin Davis wants to connect with you, the fans, and share untold stories and all the behind the scenes. Together, with Kristin and special guests, what will begin with Sex and the City will evolve into talks about themes that are still so relevant today. "Are you a Charlotte?" is much more than just rewatching this beloved show, it brings the past and the present together as we talk with heart, humor and of course some optimism.
